Kuso's story by aleate

First Day: This Sucks...

EDIT: Okey-dokey. I noticed that almost half of the people that read the first chapter didn't read the second, and I think I know why. You must think "Wow, this is such a short first chapter, and there are almost no details. This writer must be terrible." Well, that's because I wrote the entire first chapter of this story in about 20 minutes. But now, I am re-writing it, and hopefully, I can at least get you to read the second chapter. :D

"Uhh...", you moan. Your brain is pulsing, your fur feels as though it is being pulled in every direction, and it feels as though there is cut in your side. You roll your canine body onto its four legs and slowly try to stand up. The pain in your head gets worse every inch you go up, but you grit your teeth and bear it. The horrible ache is centered on your right side. You turn your head to look at the place. There is a terrible, bloody gash making its way inches from your tail to the base of your neck.

"What the hell happened last night?", you mutter quietly, trying to remember...

Earlier, my pack got attacked by a few Ursuring. We fought them off... killed most of 'um... Anyway, the guard squad was celebrating. I'm not exactly sure why we were... we had actually lost the guard leader in the fight. But that was the only one we lost. But, me being the vice-captain, I became the new leader. It's awesome. Anyway, eventually the food started getting low, so fucking Ed ordered me to go get more food, trying not to laugh while he did it. I just nodded and took off. I got to an area with tons of berries after about 5 minutes of walking. I crouch in the bushes, waiting for something... anything to come into that clearing.

After almost another 5 minutes of waiting I just cursed my luck and walked into the clearing to just grab some berries. As I came out of my hiding spot, a blur of white bolted out of the bushes on my left. I had no time to react, and I was soon pinned on my back. I looked up into the Absol's face, he grinned evilly down at me. I quickly flung my right back paw up right between his legs, hoping for a "Critical Hit". He jumps back, almost as if he knew exactly what I was about to do. I quickly scrambled to my feet, quickly taking a battle stance. Just then, a man walks out from the bushes where the Absol had originally been. He was wearing a uniform that would strike fear into the hearts of all who knew what it meant, the black body suit with the "O" on it. I know this group all too well. If they were to find my pack...

"Holy Shit!", you yell, and begin a bolt for packs site. As you run, the pain in your side just begins to get worse and worse. You slow down your pace a bit, but still approach at blistering speeds. When you finally get there, your eyes well up, and you begin to cry. The entire site was engulfed in fire. There were bodies of your comrades everywhere, even some of the females and the little poochyenas, all dead. You just sit there and cry for hours.

---
Time passes... the sky begins to darken... and the skies themselves begin to weep. You pick yourself up, and turn to leave. You slowly look back at the sight. The fires have long since been put out by the rain, and the bodies continuously getting wetter and wetter. You just look away, and begin to walk away. Your vision begins to blur from the loss of blood. You make your way back into the area of the forest with trees, but the water still made its way through them. "I can't believe this...", you thought. "Why does fate continuously take all I have?"

You keep walking through the forest, looking for an unoccupied cave. Every one you come across has a hating glare emanating from it, except for one. You slowly walk towards it. You misplace your paw on a step, and slip. You fall forward, face landing in the mud. Your skull feels like it is tightening around your brain. You don't move, don't even try to think. You just lay there with your head throbbing and your body being pelted by droplets. Your ears pick up a small noise, almost like a meep. You urge your body to look into the cave, and it complies unwillingly. There is a small figure in the cave, which your brain finally recognizes as an eevee. She looks frightened of you. You urge your lips into a weak smile. Your brain then unplugs and you lose consciousness.

---
Your eyes open to a blazing fire. The first sound that comes to your ear is the crackling of the fire, then the sound of the rain. It sounds as though the rain had increased immensely from before. The sound of a voice reaches your ears next, but you just can't make out what it says. "Mmm?", you utter.

"I said, "Looks like your finally up." You turn your head to where the voice is, and spy that eevee again.

"I guess...", you say, smiling again. "Well, she's defiantly female.", you thought. "So, were you the one that pulled me in?", you ask calmly.

"Do you see anyone else here?", she remarks in a hostel tone.

"Sor-ry...", you say in a sarcastic tone. "Anyway, thank you."

"Don't think about it.", she says, looking back to the fire. "Listen, you can stay the night, but I want you out of here tomorrow. Oh, and don't try anything."

"Fine, whatever, eevee.", you reply.

"And my name isn't "eevee", it's Ele.", she barks back. "Man, what a bitch!", you think to yourself. You roll over, and fall asleep, facing away from her.

"My name's Kuso, by the way...", you mutter absent mindedly.

"Whatever. Just get to sleep. You look like you need it.", she says, not taking her eyes off the fire.

"What a day...", you mutter, and soon drift back off into sleep.

After a few minutes, the eevee paws over to you. She looks down, and carefully examines the wound. "What the...", she breaths to herself. "How can he even move... I can see bone!" She sighs, and slowly paws back to the place she was originally at. "There is no way he should even be standing up, let alone leaving...", she mutters to herself. "What have I just gotten myself into?"

-----
Wow! She seems like so much more of a bitch now. Oh well, I hope that was better! Ittakimasu!
