As you feel the hard floor beneath you, your eyes slowly start to open. The entire room is pitch black. As you stand up, something is nagging you in the back of your mind. "I just died, so why am I still living?". You give a heavy sigh. "So now what?", you think in the back of your mind. Almost as if on cue, he hears a soft voice behind him.

"I am not going to lie to you, you did die", says the voice.
"Who are you?", you say into the darkness.
"My name is not important, but what I have to offer you is", says the voice.
"Well then, what is it?", you say.
"I can send you back to the living world, but you must do one thing for me while there", the voice responds.
"Depends on the thing. What is it?", you say to the voice.
"I need you to "Get rid of" some people there", says the voice.
"Why can't you just do it yourself?", you say.
"Because I have so much to do here with the, uh, "new arrivals".", says to voice.
"Well then, why did you choose me?", you ask.
"Because you already hate these people for what they did to you.", says the voice.
"You mean-"
"Yes, that group of people with the absol.", says the voice.
"I hate those people already, your right. But why do you want to get rid of them?", you say.
"Because those people are killing pokemon way too fast, we are starting to fill up here. I mean, it expands every couple of months to accommodate new pokemon, but they are coming in way too fast.", says the voice.
"Oh, so its just a business thing.", you say.
"Also because their assholes that kill pokemon before it's their time.", says the voice.
"So all I have to do is get rid of them and you will let me just live my life?", you ask.
"If we're lucky, yes. But you might get called again by one of our messengers to do one more job, or two.", replies the voice.
"OK, deal.", you say.
"Oh yeah, one more thing I should mention...", the voice says, "Your body was, um, how should I say this, wrecked beyond repair? The only thing that still actually worked was your brain and your eyes. Sorry."
"So then what the hell am I going to use for a body?!", you scream at the voice.
"Don't worry, don't worry. We have a back-up body that we can, um, "put you into". It is a lot stronger, faster, and more durable than you last one", says the voice. "Ironically, the only thing missing from that body are eyes."
"Alright.", you say.
"There's just one thing that's bad about the procedure.", says the voice.
"What?", you say mostly out of curiosity.
"It takes a while for you to be "attached" to your new body.", says the voice.
"How long?", you ask.
"Um, around a year.", says the voice softly.
"WHAT?! A year!", you yell at the voice.
"Hey, I don't want it to take that long ether but it is the only way.", says the voice.
"Fine.", you say, calming yourself down.
"You will be knocked out now and should awaken a year later in your new body.", says the voice.
"How will you knock me ou-", you start, but can't finish as a large ball of psychic energy comes barreling towards you. It hits you dead-on and you are instantly out.

You slowly open your eyes as start to regain consciousness. Just like the voice said, you were back in the forest that you died in. You try to get up as usual, but as you get on four legs, something didn't feel right. It felt as if there was way to much pressure on the balls of your feet. You try to flatten your feet out, as you do this, your entire upper body starts to go up. When your feet are fully flat on the ground, you are standing strait up, vertically. You look around and realize that this is almost the exact place where you died. There was the river, the tree that you were smashed against, and the bushes where you saved your loves life. You walk over to the river to see your new body. You look at the reflection and are in almost complete shock. You still had the features of a mightyena, but everything else was wrong about it. The entire bone structure was in the wrong places. You remember seeing someone like this before when your were still a pooch. Your mother told you not to stare at it. You asked her what it was, and she only replied as calling it an "anthro".

"So, they gave me the body of an anthro.", you say to yourself. "What the hell should I do now?", you ask yourself. You start to walk through the forest. As you are walking, you find a human camp. This place most likely belongs to a trainer of some sort. You start to wonder if maybe there's something to eat here. Looking over the place and fining no one, you go over to one of the backpacks and bit down on the zipper. You remember that you now had thumbs, so you release the zipper and take it in your hand. You grip it tight and pull the zipper slowly open. As you look through the pack, your find some empty pokeballs, a few sandwiches, and a large dark brown cloak. You grab one of the sandwiches and start to eat it. You look at the cloak and think, "I will most likely scare anyone away looking like this." So you grab the cloak and wrap yourself around in it. You finish the sandwich and close back up the pack. As you walk away, you try your best to cover yourself the best you could with the cloak. It was starting to get dark, and you could tell by the ominous clouds that it was going to rain. Thoughts of your love start to drift back into your head as you walk. "I wonder if she would recognize me. No, of course she wouldn't. Not in this body. I just would like to see her one last time." You turn your direction and start to walk towards the all too familiar cave. When you arrive there, there is no light coming from the entrance. You let out a soft sigh as you realize she is not there anymore. Just out of curiosity, you decide to stay and wait a while. You climb the tree nearest to the cave and lay on a sturdy limb of the tree. As you are waiting there, you hear a small scream from behind you. You look back and see a pichu, surrounded by many sevipers. You watch as the sevipers close in on the small pichu. You jump off the tree limb and leap at the closest seviper. At that moment time felt like time was distorting. Everything around you was moving slowly except for you. You run from one seviper to the other, smacking them over the head, until they were all down. Time went back to normal as the pichu looked at you. You look down and realize that your cloak was open. You quickly wrap it around yourself, just as two pikachus ran out from a bush. You could tell they came running when they heard the scream. The two of them looked at you as they got in their fighting positions to protect the small pichu.

You raise your hands up and say, "I didn't do anything to this kid." The two pickachus just stare at you intently. Other pokemon from the area start to gather around the area to watch the events that were unfolding. Eventually you were almost surrounded by a wall of pokemon. You look around the crowd, hands still raised. As you look, you see something that was familiar, light purple fur, jewel on the forehead, thin black cat-like eyes, sleek feline resembling physique, and the split twin tails. It was Ele! So she was here after all. You put down your arms and look strait at her. She looks into your eyes in response. There was a glare in her eyes. You can almost guaranty that she thinks you did this, and she does not recognize you. You turn around silently. Almost as if on command, it happens again. Time starts to slow down. You run through the crowd as an attempt to get out of there. The only thing you did though was run out of the area and jump back up to the branch. As time went back to normal, all of the pokemon down on the ground seemed to be in a state of shock. There burst out a commotion caused by your actions.

When everything quieted down, most of the pokemon started to leave. There were only a few remaining, consisting of the kid, the two pikachus, some other Pokemon, and Ele. The pichu started to talk to the two pikachus. After a bit of talking, one of the pikachus burst out, "He saved you?!". The kid only nodded in response. You see the look on Ele's expression change from one of anger to a slihtly more relaxed look. She quickly turns tail and runs back into the cave. Eventually all of the remaining Pokemon left. You just sit there on the branch, thinking everything through of what has happened in the last day. You let out a heavy sigh as you sit there on the branch.

After a while your eye lids start to get heavy. Your eyes slowly close, only to open again moments later. You hear footsteps. You look over to the cave to see Ele walking out of the cave. She walks out a bit, and lies down just in front of the cave. You just silently sit on the branch for a while, looking at the love of your life. After a while, you build up enough nerve to talk to her. Just as you were about to jump down, another voice came from inside the cave.

"Are you ok?", says a very high-pitched voice. Your mouth drops open as you see the most shocking thing in your life. It was the shape of and overall color of an eevee, but there were three dark gray stripes going down from the top of its head, down the back and up its tail. But it was not how it looked that surprised you. You realize that that could only be one thing, your child! It takes almost all of your will power to not pass out and fall out of the tree. You look back again as the eevee repeats its question. "Mom, are you ok?". That proves it. That was your kid. Ele gets up and says, "Why did you get up, Shani? I just put you to sleep." Ele gets up and escorts the child back into the cave. "Damn, I guess I'll have to try in the morning", you think to yourself. You let your eyelids drop as you fall into a peaceful slumber.
