My first story. It's supposed to be a story which revolves around the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game. The current chapters aren't exactly my best work, though I believe I am slowly improving them and getting better. My newer stories and chapters after the first ten of this story should hopefully be better.
Another Day of Requests
Sorry for the delay. I've been a little busy trying to get something that I wanted, but I just decided to do it based on how it happened. I'm done with school, for now anyways. Chapter Six: Another Day of Requests

"Yeah, but we'll get there eventually, I'm sure. Anyway, let's get started with some of those requests you accepted yesterday." Stephanie said.
I was about to say something in response, when I noticed a Pelipper flying overhead towards our Mailbox. The Pelipper then flew down, placed something in the Mailbox with his beak, and flew off. "I wonder if that's mail for us?" I asked.
"I don't know. Why don't you go check?" Stephanie asked.
I started walking over toward the Mailbox and opened it with my paw, looking inside. All I saw were a couple of issues of Pokémon News in the Mailbox. I stored the issues in the Mailbox, so the Mailbox wouldn't get full later on. I turned around and saw Stephanie behind me. "Well, nothing in there except for Pokémon News issues." I said, sadly.
Stephanie lifted my head toward hers and started speaking. "Well, it's understandable. We are still beginners and not everyone knows about us just yet. I'm sure we'll get more mail in the future." Stephanie said, smiling.

It took a little while for us to reach the Power Plant as it was some distance from our rescue team base, but eventually we arrived there, panting to get our breath.
"Wow, it took us quite a while to get here." I said, panting.
"Yeah, but we're here at last. I wonder where Magnemite is?" Stephanie asked. We started looking around for where it was, so we could ask it to go with us. I eventually spotted it with its back turned to us, sleeping.
"There it is!" I said, pointing to Magnemite. Stephanie followed where I was pointing and saw it. We started walking over to the Magnemite and tapped its back to wake it up.

"It's us, your rescue teammates." I replied, smiling. Magnemite turned around to face us.

"Yeah. That's why we're here. We figured you'd like to come along with us." Stephanie said, smiling.
"Great, let's go! Bzbzbzz!" Magnemite replied. We started walking out of the Power Plant area and back toward our base. Eventually, we reached our base and then started walking toward our destination once again, Thunderwave Cave.
After a short amount of time, we reached the entrance to the cave and walked in, preparing to do the missions that I accepted. There were three missions that we had to do, like the other day when we were here before. Our first mission was to find a Spearow that had lost a battle while traveling.
We started walking, soon coming across a Rattata. I took my usual battle pose, when I suddenly remembered the move I had learned the other day. "Quick Attack!" I called, moving faster than normal and hitting the Rattata, knocking it out.
We started walking again and came across a female Nidoran. I opened the Toolbox, pulled out a Blast Seed, and ate it. I soon felt fire build up in my mouth and I opened it, letting the flames hit the Nidoran. It fell down to the ground, defeated. I noticed some Poké nearby and picked it up for future use.
We continued walking again, coming across another Rattata. I prepared for another battle. "Thundershock!" I called, unleashing the electric attack on Rattata. It hit the Rattata, knocking it out. We continued walking and I noticed some more Poké, picking it up.
Soon, we came across yet another Rattata. I prepared to fight it, taking my battle pose. "Thundershock!" I called, trying to shock the Rattata, but missed it. I saw Magnemite float forward, preparing to battle the Rattata.
"Thundershock!" Magnemite said, shocking the Rattata and defeating it. "Cool! I did it!" Magnemite exclaimed.
"Way to go." I said, smiling. We started walking again, eventually coming across another Rattata. I took my battle pose, ready to fight it. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Rattata with electricity. It fell down to the ground, defeated. We continued walking and I spotted some more Poké, picking it up.
Soon, we came across another Rattata. I got ready to fight this one as well, taking my battle pose. "Thundershock!" I shouted, shocking the Rattata and defeating it. We continued walking and came across yet another Rattata. I took another battle pose, getting ready to battle. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Rattata. It fell down to the ground, defeated.
I noticed some items nearby and started walking to them. I picked up some Poké I spotted for future use. Magnemite picked up a Blast Seed and handed it to me, so I could put it in the Toolbox. Then I picked up a Gravelerock and placed it in the Toolbox for future use.
We continued walking and soon, I felt that the Spearow we were looking for was nearby. I also noticed a Poochyena nearby and prepared to fight it. I opened the Toolbox, pulling out a Gravelerock and throwing it at the Poochyena. I hit it, and it started to run away due to it's special ability, I assumed. I threw another Gravelerock at it, hitting it and knocking it out.
We started walking again, eventually coming across another Poochyena. I turned toward Stephanie and nodded to her, letting her have this fight. "Leer!" Stephanie called, lowering the defense of the Poochyena. The Poochyena then used Tackle on Stephanie, dealing damage. "Leer!" Stephanie called, lowering the defense of the Poochyena again. The Poochyena used Tackle on Stephanie again, hitting her. "Pound!" Stephanie called, hitting the Poochyena hard with her tail, knocking it out.
"Nice job!" I said, smiling at Stephanie. She smiled back at me. We continued walking and came across another female Nidoran. The Nidoran growled at us, lowering our attack power. I opened the Toolbox and threw a Gravelerock at the Nidoran. It hit the Nidoran, knocking it out.
We continued walking again and eventually, I saw a Spearow looking around. I figured that was the Spearow we were looking for. We started walking over toward it and stopped in front of it. "Don't worry, you'll be home soon enough." I said, smiling.
"Thank you." The Spearow replied. I pulled out the badge and held it up to the Spearow, watching it disappear from view as it vanished back to the entrance.
"Well, shall we get to our next mission?" I asked. I turned toward Stephanie and Magnemite, and they both nodded to me. Our next mission was to find a Pidgey that got separated from a Minun. We continued walking, and eventually came across another Rattata. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Rattata and knocking it out.
We continued walking and then, I felt the presence of the Pidgey nearby from my rescue team instincts. I noticed some Poké on the ground and picked it up for future use. We continued walking, and I noticed some more Poké on the ground, picking it up.
I heard a noise from behind us, and turned around to notice a Voltorb that was following us. I opened the Toolbox, picked up a Gravelerock, and threw it at the Voltorb. It missed the Voltorb and it picked up the Gravelerock. Then, I picked up another one and threw it, this time hitting the Voltorb and knocking it out.
We continued walking, and I came across another Voltorb. "Quick Attack!" I called, hitting the Voltorb at a faster speed than normal. It fell down to the ground, defeated. We continued walking, eventually reaching a dead end. I started walking back in the opposite direction, Stephanie and Magnemite behind me.
Eventually, I could see the Pidgey that we needed to rescue, looking for a way out. But, as I started walking toward it, I heard the sound of a battle behind me. "Leer!" Stephanie called, lowering the defense of whatever she was battling. I turned around to see Stephanie battling a Minun. The Minun attacked Stephanie back. I decided to help her out, so I opened up the Toolbox, and threw a Gravelerock from in there at the Minun, hitting it. "Absorb!" Stephanie shouted, sucking the energy from the Minun. It fell down to the ground, defeated.
We walked up to the Pidgey and it stood there in front of us. "Hey, don't worry, you'll be reunited with your buddy soon." I said, smiling.
"Thanks." The Pidgey replied. I pulled out the Rescue Team Badge and held it up to the Pidgey, watching it disappear from view.
"Only one more mission left. Let's get this done so we can go home and rest. By the way, I'm sorry I haven't been letting you guys battle much today. I'm just trying to see if I can get some Pokémon to join our rescue team." I said.
"It's okay. We do need to get more members so we can make our rescue team better." Stephanie said, smiling.
"Fine with me. I understand that you do want more Pokémon to be able to help us." Magnemite said.
"I don't deserve you guys. You're so kind when I'm making all these silly decisions and not asking you guys what you think of them." I said, sadly.
Then, Stephanie walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. "Hey, it's okay as I said. You're our leader and we'll stick by you no matter what you do. A good member sticks by their leader no matter what happens." Stephanie said, smiling.
"She's right. We'll never give up, so don't give up yourself." Magnemite said.
"I must sound pretty silly. I don't know why I ever doubted myself with you guys around." I said, laughing. "Well, let's get this mission over with." I said, smiling. They nodded in response and we started walking again. Our last mission was to find a Spearow that a Minun was worried about. Soon, we came across another Voltorb and I looked towards my teammates, asking if it was okay. They nodded and I smiled, glad that it was okay with them. "Thundershock!" I called, unleashing the electric attack on the Voltorb. It hit the Voltorb, knocking it out.
We started walking again and I could feel that the Spearow we needed to find was nearby. I was surprised that none of us had leveled up yet, especially Magnemite since we had been battling a bunch today. I decided to drop it for now, we'll level up when it's time, I figured. Soon after that, we came across a Voltorb. I decided to fight it, since my team members said they'd stick by me no matter what, and I was happy about that.
The Voltorb began charging electricity up around its body. I figured that must be its Charge attack. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Voltorb with electricity of my own. It hit the Voltorb, knocking it out. We continued walking and eventually came across a dead end, with no way to continue. Sighing, I started walking my way back toward the right way I assumed and toward the Spearow we needed to find.
Eventually, we came across another Voltorb and I decided to just battle it, since they said it was okay with them. Also, I remembered that when any of us defeats a Pokémon, we all get the experience, so they should get stronger I assumed. That didn't mean I wasn't going to let them battle every now and then, so they don't get bad at it. I reached into the Toolbox and grabbed a Blast Seed. I ate it and felt fire build inside of my mouth. I then opened my mouth, unleashing the flames on the Voltorb and defeating it.
We continued walking and soon enough, I saw the Spearow we were looking for ahead of us. I turned towards my teammates, nodded toward the Spearow, and they nodded back. We started walking over toward the Spearow and walked in front of it. "Your buddy Minun was worried about you and asked for us to find you." I said, smiling.
"He was? Well, thanks for helping me. I'll be sure to find him and let him know I'm alright now." The Spearow said, smiling. I pulled out the Rescue Team Badge and held it in front of the Spearow. I saw the Spearow fade from view, disappearing back to the entrance of the cave and going home to let his buddy know he was okay.
"Well, that's all of our missions. Shall we head toward the Pelipper Post Office now?" I asked. Stephanie and Magnemite nodded at my question and we started heading back through the cave. We reached the entrance and started backtracking our way toward our base and the Pelipper Post Office. It took us some time to reach the Pelipper Post Office, but that was because it was a tiring day.
We walked in front of the Pelipper Post Office and saw the Pokémon we had rescued along with the Minun who requested we find his Pidgey friend that got lost and the Minun who requested we find his Spearow friend. The Spearow we rescued first walked over toward us, handed us a Gravelerock and a Max Elixir, and left the area. Then, the Minun and his Pidgey friend walked over to us and handed us some Poké. They left the area and then the other Minun and his Spearow friend walked over to us. They handed us a Gravelerock and left the area. Seeing as we were finished, we started walking back through Pokémon Square, toward our rescue base for a well-deserved rest.
"Well, today was another tough day, but it was worth it!" Stephanie said, smiling.
"Yeah, I liked my first day as a rescue team member. Bzbzbzz." Magnemite said, happily.
"Yeah, I'm glad you're both happy." I said, then sighed.
"Is something wrong?" Stephanie asked once again. I was getting a little tired of hearing her ask that, but she's only worried about me, I figured.

I should do what a good leader would do and let my teammates help me out, not just try to do everything myself. I promise, from here on out, to let my teammates help me do more and not do everything on my own." I said.

We continued walking again, coming across another Rattata. I prepared for another battle. "Thundershock!" I called, unleashing the electric attack on Rattata. It hit the Rattata, knocking it out. We continued walking and I noticed some more Poké, picking it up.
Soon, we came across yet another Rattata. I prepared to fight it, taking my battle pose. "Thundershock!" I called, trying to shock the Rattata, but missed it. I saw Magnemite float forward, preparing to battle the Rattata.
"Thundershock!" Magnemite said, shocking the Rattata and defeating it. "Cool! I did it!" Magnemite exclaimed.
"Way to go." I said, smiling. We started walking again, eventually coming across another Rattata. I took my battle pose, ready to fight it. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Rattata with electricity. It fell down to the ground, defeated. We continued walking and I spotted some more Poké, picking it up.
Soon, we came across another Rattata. I got ready to fight this one as well, taking my battle pose. "Thundershock!" I shouted, shocking the Rattata and defeating it. We continued walking and came across yet another Rattata. I took another battle pose, getting ready to battle. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Rattata. It fell down to the ground, defeated.
I noticed some items nearby and started walking to them. I picked up some Poké I spotted for future use. Magnemite picked up a Blast Seed and handed it to me, so I could put it in the Toolbox. Then I picked up a Gravelerock and placed it in the Toolbox for future use.
We continued walking and soon, I felt that the Spearow we were looking for was nearby. I also noticed a Poochyena nearby and prepared to fight it. I opened the Toolbox, pulling out a Gravelerock and throwing it at the Poochyena. I hit it, and it started to run away due to it's special ability, I assumed. I threw another Gravelerock at it, hitting it and knocking it out.
We started walking again, eventually coming across another Poochyena. I turned toward Stephanie and nodded to her, letting her have this fight. "Leer!" Stephanie called, lowering the defense of the Poochyena. The Poochyena then used Tackle on Stephanie, dealing damage. "Leer!" Stephanie called, lowering the defense of the Poochyena again. The Poochyena used Tackle on Stephanie again, hitting her. "Pound!" Stephanie called, hitting the Poochyena hard with her tail, knocking it out.
"Nice job!" I said, smiling at Stephanie. She smiled back at me. We continued walking and came across another female Nidoran. The Nidoran growled at us, lowering our attack power. I opened the Toolbox and threw a Gravelerock at the Nidoran. It hit the Nidoran, knocking it out.
We continued walking again and eventually, I saw a Spearow looking around. I figured that was the Spearow we were looking for. We started walking over toward it and stopped in front of it. "Don't worry, you'll be home soon enough." I said, smiling.
"Thank you." The Spearow replied. I pulled out the badge and held it up to the Spearow, watching it disappear from view as it vanished back to the entrance.
"Well, shall we get to our next mission?" I asked. I turned toward Stephanie and Magnemite, and they both nodded to me. Our next mission was to find a Pidgey that got separated from a Minun. We continued walking, and eventually came across another Rattata. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Rattata and knocking it out.
We continued walking and then, I felt the presence of the Pidgey nearby from my rescue team instincts. I noticed some Poké on the ground and picked it up for future use. We continued walking, and I noticed some more Poké on the ground, picking it up.
I heard a noise from behind us, and turned around to notice a Voltorb that was following us. I opened the Toolbox, picked up a Gravelerock, and threw it at the Voltorb. It missed the Voltorb and it picked up the Gravelerock. Then, I picked up another one and threw it, this time hitting the Voltorb and knocking it out.
We continued walking, and I came across another Voltorb. "Quick Attack!" I called, hitting the Voltorb at a faster speed than normal. It fell down to the ground, defeated. We continued walking, eventually reaching a dead end. I started walking back in the opposite direction, Stephanie and Magnemite behind me.
Eventually, I could see the Pidgey that we needed to rescue, looking for a way out. But, as I started walking toward it, I heard the sound of a battle behind me. "Leer!" Stephanie called, lowering the defense of whatever she was battling. I turned around to see Stephanie battling a Minun. The Minun attacked Stephanie back. I decided to help her out, so I opened up the Toolbox, and threw a Gravelerock from in there at the Minun, hitting it. "Absorb!" Stephanie shouted, sucking the energy from the Minun. It fell down to the ground, defeated.
We walked up to the Pidgey and it stood there in front of us. "Hey, don't worry, you'll be reunited with your buddy soon." I said, smiling.
"Thanks." The Pidgey replied. I pulled out the Rescue Team Badge and held it up to the Pidgey, watching it disappear from view.
"Only one more mission left. Let's get this done so we can go home and rest. By the way, I'm sorry I haven't been letting you guys battle much today. I'm just trying to see if I can get some Pokémon to join our rescue team." I said.
"It's okay. We do need to get more members so we can make our rescue team better." Stephanie said, smiling.
"Fine with me. I understand that you do want more Pokémon to be able to help us." Magnemite said.
"I don't deserve you guys. You're so kind when I'm making all these silly decisions and not asking you guys what you think of them." I said, sadly.
Then, Stephanie walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. "Hey, it's okay as I said. You're our leader and we'll stick by you no matter what you do. A good member sticks by their leader no matter what happens." Stephanie said, smiling.

We started walking again and I could feel that the Spearow we needed to find was nearby. I was surprised that none of us had leveled up yet, especially Magnemite since we had been battling a bunch today. I decided to drop it for now, we'll level up when it's time, I figured. Soon after that, we came across a Voltorb. I decided to fight it, since my team members said they'd stick by me no matter what, and I was happy about that.
The Voltorb began charging electricity up around its body. I figured that must be its Charge attack. "Thundershock!" I called, shocking the Voltorb with electricity of my own. It hit the Voltorb, knocking it out. We continued walking and eventually came across a dead end, with no way to continue. Sighing, I started walking my way back toward the right way I assumed and toward the Spearow we needed to find.
Eventually, we came across another Voltorb and I decided to just battle it, since they said it was okay with them. Also, I remembered that when any of us defeats a Pokémon, we all get the experience, so they should get stronger I assumed. That didn't mean I wasn't going to let them battle every now and then, so they don't get bad at it. I reached into the Toolbox and grabbed a Blast Seed. I ate it and felt fire build inside of my mouth. I then opened my mouth, unleashing the flames on the Voltorb and defeating it.
We continued walking and soon enough, I saw the Spearow we were looking for ahead of us. I turned towards my teammates, nodded toward the Spearow, and they nodded back. "He was? Well, thanks for helping me. I'll be sure to find him and let him know I'm alright now." The Spearow said, smiling. I pulled out the Rescue Team Badge and held it in front of the Spearow. I saw the Spearow fade from view, disappearing back to the entrance of the cave and going home to let his buddy know he was okay.
"Well, that's all of our missions. Shall we head toward the Pelipper Post Office now?" I asked. Stephanie and Magnemite nodded at my question and we started heading back through the cave. The Spearow we rescued first walked over toward us, handed us a Gravelerock and a Max Elixir, and left the area. Then, the Minun and his Pidgey friend walked over to us and handed us some Poké. They left the area and then the other Minun and his Spearow friend walked over to us. They handed us a Gravelerock and left the area. Seeing as we were finished, we started walking back through Pokémon Square, toward our rescue base for a well-deserved rest.
"Well, today was another tough day, but it was worth it!" Stephanie said, smiling.
