A Tale of Death: Falling into the Darkness

It was a full moon on that night. Within a forest, in a clearing, lay a female mightyena in the process of giving birth. The rest of the pack had gathered, at their leaders demand of course. Their scarred and battle hardened master watched as his bitch delieved his pups. With one last push, the last of the two pups arrived. Terror inspected his two offspring, as they started looking for their mothers milk, finding them both to be males. He inspected both again, closely. After awhile, he smirked, pointing to one, "He will be my successor...he will be my apprentice. He will be my chosen son." he chuckled, "His name...is Death."

************

Death smiled, as he lept about the field, his brother Bane, and their friends Thorn and Spike chased him. "Come on you guys...can't you do any better." Bane upped his speed, but then Death stopped, ducking down and making the poochyena trip over him, falling in a heap. Death quickly fled before the other two caught him.

"Bane are you okay?" Trotting in was the mother of the two pups, Bliss. She looked over her son, and licked him, "Well are you Bane?"

Bane growled, "I'm fine mom. I was just tripped."

Death rushed up, smiling and tail waving, "Yeah mom. The four left pawed mutt just got out smarted."

Bliss didn't even look at Death, how could she? Death was the chosen of her bastard alpha...the male who raped her and dared to call her mate. All she could see when she looked at Death...was that filth Terror. "I'm just making sure Bane. I am your mother, so I care about you."

Death's ears went down, and he trodded away, ignoring the puzzled looks of his friends. Bane just laughed, as his mother lovingly nuzzled him. Death went to a small clearing in the trees, and layed down in a ball, sighing. It was always the same thing...his own mother ignored him, but lavished attention of Bane. Why?

Death never knew, but he wouldn't give up on trying to get her attention. Giving up wasn't who he was. He stood up, with a nod and smile, and went back to rejoin the game. One way or another, he'd show his mother that he was deserving of praise and attention.

************

A few months had passed, and Death was out on a stroll. He was whistling as he tried to think up a new way of getting his mothers attention. Then he heard a yelp. His ears perked, as he homed in on the source of the sound, then he went to investigate.

He found an eevee cornered by six members of his own pack. All of them were males, and mightyenas. He believed the eevee was a female. "Come on you little cunt...be good and you'll live."

Death eyed his pack, he knew they were planning something. And he wasn't gonna wait to see what. He strode out, and got between the little fox, and the 6 of his fathers pack. "Leave her alone."

One of the males growled, "Why should we?"

One hushed him, "Hey...that's Death...watch it man."

"No! I'm not listening to this little shit! He has no right to get between us and our little cunny." slowly several of the others nodded. "Move Death...or else we'll just tell your daddy that an ursaring got you."

Death growled, taking up a battle stance. "Not happening!" The male spat, and charged without another word. Death held firm, leaping over him at the last moment. The male crashed into the rock that they hard cornered the eevee into. Death smirked, as the others came at him. Luckily they weren't to smart, so he was able to duck, dodge, and weave the attacks, usually making them crash into one another.

But Death was also planting his own attaks as he dodged. Bites striking legs, tails, and other parts of the body. Slowly the males were starting to flee, realizing they were outmatched...and by a poochyena no less. The Death heard a scream, making him quickly turn to find the eevee pinned by the male who had started the attack. Death wasn't sure what the male was planning to do, but he knew it couldn't be good.

Death took a deep breath, before he felt energy gathering in his mouth. Before long, Death had a shadow ball formed, and he quickly launched it at the mightyena, knocking him off of the eevee and into the rock. The adult quickly got up, glared at Death, then ran for it.

Death turned to the eevee, walking up to her, "You okay?"

She looked up at him, then smiled, nodding, "Yes. Thank you so much."

Death chuckled, "It's nothing. I was more than happy to do it."

She giggled, then wrapped her paws around him in a hug, before leaving. Death smiled, then was struck by an idea. He had just saved that female, so that should get his mothers attention. With a smile on his face, he rushed for home.

************

Death sighed, as he lay in a ball. His mother didn't even look at him when he told her he saved the eevee. She didn't even care that he convinced his father to leave the attacking males alone. She was still just focused on Bane for some reason.

He was starting to grow discouraged, nothing was working. No matter what he tried, Bliss always ignored him. Why? That's all he wanted to know. Why did his own mother ignore him?

He got up, sighing again, as he headed off to patrol their land. He wasn't really paying attention as he walked, looking down to the ground. He didn't hear the rusling till it was right in front of him. When he looked up, he saw an ursaring towering over him. His ears went flat on his head, as he backed away. The ursaring smiled, growling, "What a tasty looking treat." Death gulped.

The ursaring walked forward, flexing his paw, as he raised it up, getting ready to strike. Death knew he wasn't gonna be able to get help, he'd never out run the bear. So he stopped backing away, glaring at his predator. When the paw came at him, Death lept up and onto the ursaring's arm, running up it. The bear used his other paw to swipe, but only succeeded in clawing his own arm. Death had slid to the other side, biting into the flesh to stay on the arm.

The ursaring was swinging his arm trying to dislodge the poochyena. Death just smiled, as he used one swing to get airborn, then land on the ursarings head. Death bit into an ear, holding on as the ursaring swayed and swatted at his attacker. Death held tight, as the ursaring tried to thrash him off. Then one thrash finally dislodged Death...with the ear still in his mouth.

The bear pokemon screamed out in pure agony, clutching at where his ear had been. Death smiled, as he watched the bleeding ball of fluff flee. The poochyena's tail was wagging as he rushed for home, ear still in his mouth as proof of his accomplishment.

When Death got home and told the tale, everyone in the pack was amazed. His father smiled proudly, saying "that's my boy." as his friends blinked in disbelief. Bane was cheering for his brother's triumph. But Death wasn't in the least bit happy. Once again, his mother was smiling down at Bane as he cheered. She didn't even give her son, who had triumphed over a massive opponent, a passing glance. Death's ears went flat, as his tail drooped.

************

A few months had passed since Death had beaten the ursaring. Terror had felt nothing but pride in Death. And as such...Bliss despised Death even more. And it also led to Death joining in on a food hunt, with his mother and a few others of the pack.

Death thought it'd be his chance at finally being alone with his mother, and get to talk to her. So he volunteered to partner with her on the scouting part of the hunt. They were walking along the shrubbery, as Death spoke up, "Mother?"

No responce.

"Momma?"

"Shhh!" she scolded.

He looked down, feeling he had made a mistake in partnering with her. In silence they kept walking along, Death feeling alone and depressed, but he kept focused on the hunt.

After several minutes of quiet, they heard rusling in the distance, and began to look into it. When they found the source, they found it was a trap. They had been led to a clearing.

Soon, a bunch of strage creatures appeared. They were furless...for the most part, and had bizzare skin coloring. Their legs were blue, black, even tan. Their chests were all sorts of colors, and the color even went a little onto their arms on some. Death had never seen these things before. Then he heard his mother growl, "Humans."

Death didn't know what humans were, but he had a feeling that these humans weren't friendly. He joined his mother in growling as they tried to back away. But then a human sent a strange coil at his mother, getting her around the neck, and yanked her into the group of humans. Death stared in horror as these "humans" began to beat her.

Death snarled, charging forward into the group of humans, who were brandishing strange gleaming things. They were like a steel types skin, and looked sharp. They had none shiny parts at the spot were the humans paws held it. Death knew he couldn't get hit by one of those bizzare weapons.

He was dodging left and right, avoiding swings and stabs. As he kept dodging and trying to get through he heard his mother screaming. The sound of that scream made Death see red...both figuretivly and literally. He tore out the juggular of a human, blood spraying. "Fuck! That runt just killed Ted!"

"So what!? Capture the damn thing! And make sure it's mother's dead!" One stabbed, hitting Death, leaving a wound that would become a scar, no doubt.

Death snarled, rushing, tearing into the humans. Ripping out flesh and leaving them to bleed and die. He was going to save his mother...a mother who ignored him!

A body fell, clutching at where a hand had been.

His mother who didn't look at him!

One human made a gargle sound, clutching at his missing throat, trying to hold the blood in.

His own mother...who didn't once say she loved him!

The last few humans fell in a crumpled heap around Bliss. The female mightyena was gasping, coughing up blood. Death looked her over, "Mom! Mom...you'll...you'll be okay..." he looked around, "Just...just hold on...I'll get help!"

She coughed up more blood, her breathing growing shallow. "...Te..."

He looked at her, "Mom...don't talk...you need to save your energy." he had tears in his eyes.

She weezed and shivered, "Te...tell...tell Bane..." Death stared, "...I love him."

Death looked at her, "A...anything...else mommy?" he was pleading at her with his eyes. She said nothing else. She just laid there, breathing her last breaths. Death stared, tears falling, "Mommy! Anything else!?" She stayed silent...but he could have sworn...he saw a glare come from her...ment for him and him alone. Then her chest went still. His mother...who he would have died for...who he fought to save...who he worked so hard to make notice him...who ignored him...was dead.

Death stared, tears falling, but he didn't know why they were falling. Were they tears for his dead mother? Or were they because his mother...even in her dying breaths...never acknoledged him? Death clenched his eyes shut, shivering in emotional agony.

Why? What did he do that was so wrong? What did Bane do that was so good?

"WHY!? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!?!?!?!?!" He began glowing, his body starting to alter.

"...MOTHER!!!!!!!" The glow vanished, revealing a mightyena. He was covered in blood, and his eyes...held nothing but hate. He turned and went back for home.

When he got back, every one stared. His father blinking, "Death?"

The male who had attacked the eevee glared, "So the runt evol..." he never finished. Death, while walking past him, had ripped out his jugular.

"Mother's dead...humans got her." He glared at his pack mates, "And...if I hear one thing I don't like...you'll join that fool."

Everyone gulped, even Terror. Death wasn't a sweet pup any more. He had gotten a look, that even his tyrant father feared. Death was glaring as he walked through his old friends. Spike and Thorn quickly made way, still poochyena themselves, and just stared. When Death passed Bane, the poochyena shook in pure fear from the look he was given.

************

Later that night, Death sat on a hill, looking up at the moon. "Fine mother." his voice betrayed his hate. "If being good, kind, and nice won't win me your love..." he smirked, "Maybe being the opposite will!" He glared at the white sphere, before he heard laughter.

He moved to investigate the source, and found a leafeon and umbreon. The grass type was female, and the dark type was a male. And the two appeared to be lovers, with how much they kissed and nuzzled. Then Death recognized a scent. The leafeon was the same eevee he had saved from his pack so long ago.

Death smirked as had a perfect chance to have some fun. He lept on the umbreon, hearing his mate shriek, as Death closed his jaws on the neck. With a snap, the umbreon went limp, dead as a doornail.

Death the rushed the leafeon who tried to flee. He quickly had her pinned, and at his mercy. He now realized what the males were gonna do to her when he first met this fem. Now he was gonna take their place. "Please...no! Let me go! Please!"

Death smirked, bringing his muzzle to her ear, "I might...after I have my fun." She shivered, trying to escape, thrashing beneth him. Death just smiled, holding her tight, the thrashing coaxing him to arousal. The leafeon screamed for help, trying to escape as she felt the male getting aroused.

Death just smirked more, as he enjoyed hearing her screams. Then he gave a thrust.

She wailed out, as she felt her first time taken from her. As the male who had once been her knight in shiny armor, became the one to rape her. All the while, Death smirked, enjoying the suffering he was bringing to her.

By morning, the leafeon was out cold, she had fallen asleep while crying, as Death had his way with her time and again that night. Death looked over her, then smiled. He mounted her one last time, rapeing the female again, before heading to rejoin the pack.
Chapter End Notes:I was listening to "Animal I have Become" by three days grace when he evolved. And I think it was the best song for the occasion. *chuckles* Tell me what ya think of Death's puphood
