In the land of Crystalis home of Eon there were many dangers to be found on long roads and winding paths. Humans with their savagery were just one of the many monsters and odd life forms that could bring harm to a traveler. We have to save her!" the Todd looked very flustered at the situation and it became even worse when the tentacles expertly began removing Copper's clothing. Needless to say he was nervous about this encounter knowing full well he had been a bad Todd and less than a great friend to someone he was so enamored with. He was instructed to wait out under a tree outside the city walls that he and Copper used to frequent and so there in the shade he awaited her scorn. When she finally showed up, wearing a turquoise T-shirt and shorts, she walked right up and slapped him across the face, sighed, and then settled down next to him.
"I guess I really earned that...Even then you probably cannot hit me hard enough to really make me feel what I earned..." Firetale said rubbing his cheek, his ears drooped to the sides and his eyes watery. He was not feeling very uppity today and certainly was sorry for being such a letch with poor Copper.
"No...That is good enough. Firetale...I really wish you had just really expressed how much you liked me...I was just...Shy...Like you were...I didn't want to rush into anything and I was afraid it would hurt or be scary. If you had asked me though I think I would have said yes...Because I knew you would have been gentle and nice to me and you are a handsome Todd..." Copper said as she snuggled up against his side to Firetale's great surprise. He put his arm around her and hugged her to his side murring softly at the wonderful closeness. "It is like this Vee, I guess I want to try out a relationship with you that is a bit deeper than just friends seems how we already got yiffy with each other...But do not treat me like some sex toy. I am your friend, your lover, and I am a strong independent person too. I know I am little and look helpless but you know I like to do things on my own and can take care of myself most of the time. So treat me with respect and love and just don't smother me, kay?"
"Copper...Considering everything I cannot believe you are letting me off the hook like this...but you are making me the happiest fox that ever lived, you got a deal, hun!" Firetale said as his fur all but glowed with sudden wellsprings of joyous energy. Copper gave a coy little grin and gently fell against him to snuggle into him. Far from feeling completely violated by someone she secretly wanted to mate for a long time as well she was willing to forgive Firetale's greedy mating of her earlier so that they could have a loving relationship from that point on.
What was Copper destined to evolve into if anything? Would she stay with Firetale and truly become his life mate? Would she decide to go on a crusade to kill those vile Mind Rapers? That is another story and for another time. For now we leave the world City of Eon and its citizens on a happy note and can only hope that in the end more wonderful events will follow.
