Summary:

A trainer named Chris has just arrived in Kanto from his home region of Sinnoh. A hotshot trainer in Sinnoh, he soon finds that things in Kanto will not be so easy. Can he overcome the depression of an early loss to rise to the top once more?

This started out as a one-shot request, but as I wrote, it became clear that it would require more than one chapter to do the story real justice.
