Not just about the newest one, let's talk about all of them! Why not? :3

I started my Smashing "career" with Melee and have it 99% completed (minus one retro stage and whatever trophies I missed). Still got the memory card to prove it :3 Tried Brawl on my friend's Wii, had a blast but didn't like a few bits of it (like the slipping mechanic). Now I have SSB 3DS and plan to get SmashU after I sell my X360.

If you currently have Smash3DS, lemme ask you a question: What's the highest difficulty you've completed in Classic, All-Star and Cruel Smash (# of KO's)? And what character(s) did you use to attain these goals?

    Classic: 8.5 (died on 9.0)
    All-Star: Hard
    Cruel: 2 KO's
Character: Dr. Mario (all three modes)

Post more of your achievements from any of the Smash games as you see fit, I'm not limiting this thread! ^u^

Well, I'm kind of bummed that I can't get smash Wii U for quite a while because I lack a Wii U (I'm poor). But I have owned and played all of the other games. Let me just go down the list here and say something about each.

N64 smash: It was great way back, and still is really fun to turn on all the items and just have a good time with friends.

Melee: I really, really liked this game. And oh man...that gamecube controller was PERFECT. I easily put over 1000 hours into completing every last challenge there was. I also trained to play this game competitively, but found that everyone else was just a cut above. Oh well...

Brawl: Initially, I hated this game. I was excited about it when it first came out, but hated the gameplay. It felt clunky and hard to combo on. I felt as though it was limiting my true potential, and that I could play better on Melee. Still, I played it every now and then, and it grew on me.

3DS: I was just so thrilled when Nintendo announced a handheld smash...Like, holy crap! I was flipping out. It did not disappoint in the slightest. The game looks and feels great, even on a handheld. I was worried that it wouldn't feel right making that transition. Even though wave-dashing has left the franchise for good, and there is this new (lame) edge-grabbing mechanic, I love this game!

Anyway, those are just my thoughts on smash. Great games!

Oh, and my high scores for 3DS

    Haven't even tried smash run
    Haven't even tried cruel smash
Beat classic on 8 (died twice on 9)
Do most of my butt-kicking with either Lucario, Lucina, or Greninja

Want a good book series to read? Try Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness!

I've been playing the new smash a lot recently (3ds and Wii U) It's fun. I'm not sure what my best character is yet. I'm good with a lot of them.

On the N64, my best character was Mario, on Melee it was also Mario, in brawl it was R.O.B.
Obviously Charizard is a contender this time around though Ganon is really good I'm finding.

    High scores:

Classic: 9.0 (used a custom Charizard. Master fortress was a bitch but I did it)
All star: Hard (with R.O.B. and Ganon)
Cruel: 8 (used a cheap trick with samus' grapple beam)

If anyone has a Wii U you can add my if u want. Just pm me.

SSB on the 3ds was quite a waste of money for me (same like most hyped games like skyrim).

I wish that I would own the n64 with it because back to that time it was one of my favourite games for it.
Melee was quite nice as well but after that it got kinda meh for me.

I've owned all Smash Bros. games, all but 3DS version playable on my Wii U (SSB4 and SSBB on disc, SSBM via Nintendont (Homebrew on SD card), and SSB (N64) on Virtual Console.

    Mains are:
    SSB: Yoshi or Pikachu
    SSBM: Yoshi, Fox, or Pikachu
SSBB: Yoshi, Fox, Lucario, Wario, or Pokemon Trainer
SSB4 (3DS and Wii U): Yoshi, Fox, Lucario, Wario, Villager, Charizard, or Wii Fit Trainer.
