    I also prefer him as a male, but i've happily read fics/seen pics where Lucario was a female.

    It's not like with Gardevoir where i just utterly refuse to acknowledge that males exist.

    Beat me why GameFreak didn't decide to make Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir female only while evolving would be a good reason for a change to the male gender.

    Anyway Riolu / Lucario looks too male for me to be female.

    I like females but for lucario in my opinion a lucario would be typical a male so I agree with MaDrow

    My stance on Lopunny though is flipped.

    I've enjoyed fics/pics with both genders, but typically i picture them as female.

    I am disappointed! There are no options for "androgynous / other".
    Seriously though, the answer is both. There are both male and female Lucario and they're both cute. ^.^

    Looks like a guy, sounds like a guy, and acts like a guy even if it's female. I call it male no matter what.
