Chapter 2.0 Prelude to the Revolt at Celedon & Saffron City.
After getting off the phone, Cassandra slowly walked around the wall which
protects the border carrying a basket. She lives in the many co-op housing
developments near the border of which she owns a shop of miracle potions.
Looking through one of the many gates of the wall, she sees the usual border
patrol. She sighed as she adjusted her residency pass, going over to the
guards. "Good Morning Lei, Good Morning Kei," she said with a smile. "Good
Morning Cassandra." Lei responded. Kei looked over to her, "Doing the usual
herbal pickup at the edge of the wall?" "Yes ma'am Kei. I will be out for an
hour or so, ok?" She took out her passport and had it stamped for the specific
time and went on her way.
A few minutes after going away from the guards, she started to pick up assorted
berries and herbs for the potions she makes. "For some reason.... " she thought
".... that they grow better here than they do on our side." She shrugged as
she continued to pick more leaves.
Sitting down to rest, she looked to the right of her, seeing a Meowth sick,
with a high fever. Cassandra looked over to the Meowth. "You poor thing..
Being really sick got Team Rocket to reject you. I'll make you better and take
you home." Meowth just looked up to the beautiful girl as she made him a quick
medicine for him to take. She lifted the bowl up and got the Meowth to feel
much better. She quickly covered him in a cloth so no one can see him and ran
over back to the gate.
Kei and Lei looked over to Cassandra, both asking, "What do you got there?"
Cassandra whispered, "Sick Pokémon. I'm taking it home. I hope no one was
following me." Kei and Lei nodded as they let her back in.
After a few hours, Meowth opened his eyes as he looked around, mumbling, "Where
am I? What is this place? Where is Jessie and James?" Cassandra has left the
home where she lives to do a few more errands. He sighed, thinking of the girl
who had really cared.. one that loves him. He only knew life outside the walls
however. He went outside to a tree and climbed up and jumped over the wall,
having the day of the girl imprinted in his mind forever. He thought of the
green haired girl who had taken care of him as he walked back over to the
Rocket-dan infested city of Saffron.
