Story Notes:
I'm writing this as a novelization to a manga I'm drawing. I may upload the manga onto the gallery but it will be awhile.
Chapter 1: The begining
John stood in front of the rippling, water like portal in front of him, when his dad told him that he had something important for him, he thought he actually wanted to try and connect with his son for once, but that was naive of him. He should have expected his father to make his own son his personal guinea pig.
"Hurry, before it closes kid!" A researcher yells from behind him, disrupting his thoughts.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm going." John replied in a spiteful tone toward the researcher in the viewing room above. He then turned back to the portal and sighed, and with a sarcastic wave of his hand goodbye and he stepped through the portal. Suddenly, a bone chilling feeling presented itself as he slowly put one leg through. Soon he was fully inside and the cold chill was replaced by a gut wrenching tearing, his body being ripped, atom by atom. When the feeling stopped he found himself falling through a deep blue sky as Every cloud broke apart upon impact, none of them slowing his descent closer to the ground. Suddenly he felt the hard ground impact upon him causing his vision to go black.
A Spearow circling over a part of the viridian forest finally lands onto a lucario that has passed out on the ground. The Spearow pecks at it a couple times causing the Lucario to stir and slowly start to move. The Spearow jumps back a couple feet back and cricks it's neck, still surveying the Lucario. The Lucario suddenly thrusts his head upward and looks around, which scares the Spearow away. He tries standing but, still being dazed, wobbles some. He soon gets his balance and gathers his surroundings.
"Toto, we aren't in Kansas anymore..."
"Hey, are you alright?"
The Lucario jumps at the unexpected voice and turns around quickly. He is greeted by a smiling, pink haired girl, around 16 years of age.
"Yeah, I think so."
"Wow! You can talk? Cool!"
"Of course I can I'm human aren't-"
He then turns again to face her and is met by a hand mirror showing a Lucario. He looks at his hand and sees a paw instead.
"No! I'm a Lucario? Why? How!"
"Shh! Calm down, please! Ah!"
Erika then throws a poke ball at the crazed Lucario, hitting him in the face.
"Uh, Ow." He says as he gets consumed by a red flash and disappears into the poke ball. Erika walks over to the locked poke ball and picks it up,
"What a strange pokemon..." She then looks at the small crater in place where the Lucario was.
When he was finally released, the Lucario found himself materialized in the air and upside down.
"Ow!" He says as he falls on his head.
"You certainly are a strange Pokemon are all Lucario like this?"
The Lucario shrugs then falls down onto his back and finds her looking down at him.
"I think I'll call you myst, short for mystery cause your strange, 'kay?"
The Lucario nods and she smiles, helping him up. She then pulls him to the left toward a hot spring. She walks to a deeper part, the water up to her neck.
"Come on, It's nice!" Erika says.
Hesitantly, he walks into the hot spring and suddenly falls victim to the spring's natural comfort. As he becomes more comfortable Erika speaks up again.
"See? Isn't it great."
"Yeah..." He replies in a relaxed, calmed voice.
The next morning Erika brought Myst to a clearing. She sets up a log target and walks back to Myst.
"Okay, lets see what you can do." She said.
"Okay. How about... force palm!" Myst yells as he thrusts his arm outward, toward the target down range. A miniscule blue orb falls from his palm with a pbbt. Erika starts laughing and rolling on the floor.
"H-hey! Don't laugh! I'm trying!!!!"
Erika takes a second to pull herself together and pulls a disk out of her pocket, "Why don't we try something you don't know?"
Erika says shoving the tm into his face.
"Ow."
She then tries putting it in his ear.
"Uh, ouch."
She thinks for a moment, "Maybe if I put it in your t-"
"NO!!!!!!!"
"But maybe..."
"No, not there!" Myst yells frantically.
"Excuse me ma'am, why are you abusing that poor Lucario with that tm disk?"
"Yes, please explain why." Myst adds weakly.
The man then pushes his glasses up on his nose, "Your poke-dex should have a tm upload button, unless you don't have one. Then you need to talk to-"
"Prof. oak, that's why we're headed to pallet town!"
"Well good luck, his grandson, Gary, is blocking the door unless someone he deems worthy beats him in a battle."
Erika put her hat back on, "Well then, all the more reason to go, right Myst?"
"Can we wait though, I ache in places I shouldn't."
"No silly, now get up!" She orders.
"Yes ma'am!" Myst rapidly says and they set off on their way toward pallet town.
"Strange couple." the man says before walking off.
Gary laughs as a boy's Absol falls to the ground, unconscious.
"Come back when you actually deserve to be called a trainer!" Gary boasts as the kid runs toward the poke-center, crying. Erika then puts her foot down, "Hey ass, pick on someone older than you instead!" She yells, all the people that gathered quiet down at this.
Gary smiles, "Okay, but expect me to go easy girly! Let's go, one-on-one!"
"Myst, lets show this guy a true Pokemon trainer!"
"Hm, Caterpie make poke-chow outta him, poison sting!"
The stinger hits Myst in the foot.
"Ouch, you bastard!" Myst says as he stomps on the bug Pokemon repeatedly until it is passed out indefinitely.
"Uh, Myst? What was that?" Erika asks bewildered.
"Uhmm... Curb stomp?" He says unsure.
"Hey, that's illegal!" Gary yells.
Erik pulls out a small book and flips through it, "Nothing in the rule book against it, we win this match, now move!"
Gary stands there for a moment then returns his Caterpie and moves out of the way of the path, "Fine you and your Pokemon can enter but I'm watching you two closely..." And with that he storms off.
"Good job Myst, now let's go get that poke-dex and after, celebrate our first victory with a stay at the poke-center, how's that sound?" She asks, obviously over-joyed.
"Great," Myst replies, following her into professor Oak's lab.Chapter End Notes:So, any good
