Day 2 Awakening to a new world.
While Jack was asleep in the Hollow Forest he had a very strange dream. He dreamed that he was naked and flouting above a battle field. Burned down trees were scattered around the field, no trees were standing. The sky was blood red, and the clouds were as black as ink. Jack looked to his left. He saw the dead body's of humans everywhere. Men, woman, and children as far as the eye could see. Jack then looked to his right. He saw Pokemon of every species scattered around the plain. Jack happen to notice that some of the Pokemon had human characteristics.
Jack heard someone's cackling coming from behind him. He turned around to see someone in the distance flouting above the body's. The beings skin was pure black and the outlines like the curves of the clothes, arms and legs were red as blood. The being also had a glowing red aura surrounding it's body, and weapon. The weapon was held like the being itself was a scarecrow. Jack could see the weapon very clear it was a black scythe.
"Do you like what you see Jackie boy?" Said a sinister voice that echoed all around the burned plain.
Jack's heart started to beat faster and he started to shake. The being started to turn around to face him. Just then Jack opened his eyes to find himself in a forest naked. His Nintendo DS was right next to him, but something had changed. It was still red and black but it seemed to have a camera mounted on it. He flipped the DS open to find another camera in the center of the Nintendo DS. The DS turn on without him touching it. The strange digital code was still going across the screen. But then turned into a map that showed where he was. Jack found this a little strange sense the Nintendo DS doesn't have a GPS.
The arrow pointed down a path that was in front of him. Jack decided to fallow the map, and hopefully it would take him to find some cloches. He started down the path keeping his eyes on the display screen. As he walked he happened to notice that a red dot moving on the screen. Jack stopped, and when he did so did the dot. He quickly realized that he was the red dot on the screen. Once again he started walking down the path.
A few minutes into his walk. The Nintendo DS pick up something a few feet away. Jack looked up to see a pair of black pants. He looked them over and decided to put them on. They fitted perfectly just his size. As he made his way throw the forest he fond a gray shirt, some shoes, and a black jacket. All of the cloches were in his size. When he came to the edge of the forest he noticed a small two story house.
Not thinking twice he entered the backyard of the house. The grass was cut thin in the backyard as Jack walked to the door. He was about to knock on the door when suddenly it flow open. Standing in front of him was a young beautiful pink Gardevoir. Jack stud there with wide eyes. He rubbed his eyes then looked again. She wasn't his imagination she was real. She blushed as she brushed a few pink strands of her hair over her feather like ears.
"Come with me if you want to live." She said with hast in her voice.
Without saying another word she grabbed his hand, and pulled him into the house. The door shutting behind him. She ran throw the kitchen, and up the stairs Jack being pulled along by his arm. When they got to the top of the stairs she stopped and listened. She could hear her older brother steering in the back bedroom. Quickly she went down the hall to the middle bedroom on her left. She pushed him throw the doorway, and shut the door behind him. A split second later her brother came out of his bedroom. He let out a yawn and scratched his head.
"Good morning Syrus." She said with a smile.
"Morning Ruby." He let out another yawn. "Your up early any reason why?"
"I just had a very good night sleep. I also made breakfast for everyone."
Syrus put one of his hands to her forehead.
"Ruby, are you feeling alright?" He asked her.
"I'm fine." She said as she batted his hand away. "Hurry up and go down stairs it's getting cold."
Ruby pushed him towards the stairs.
"Alright gees, the way your acting makes it look strange."
He knocked on the doors of his other two sleeping sisters as he went down stairs to eat. Ruby let out a sigh then she opened the door to the room Jack was in. Jack was standing by the window. He looked out to see the vast town before him. He looked up at the sky, but instead he saw trees that appeared to be wrapped around the town like a cocoon. Some Murkrow and Starly flow by the window. Ruby approached him slowly. It was a lot to take in all at once. She embraced him from behind.
"Oh Jack, I thought this day would never come." She said with tears of joy flowing from her eyes.
Jack turned around and gently pushed her away.
"Hold on, where am I and how do you know my name." He asked her.
She grabbed his hands holding them in hers.
"I'll explain everything later. But right now you need to stay here I'll be back before you know it."
She left the room locking the door behind her. Her two sisters came out of their rooms at the same time as she did.
"Good morning Ruby." They said at the same time.
"Morning Sapphire, morning Emerald." She said to the both of them.
She joined her sisters and they all went down stairs for breakfast. Jack glanced around the room he was in. Everything was pink the pillows were a light pink, and the blankets on the bed were a dark pink. The walls were light pink with a reddish pink trim in the corners. Jack's eyes fell upon a photo in a pink frame on the night stand next to the bed. Jack picked up the frame and examined the photo. The photo seemed to be a family photo of a Gallade, a normal Gardevoir, three different color Kirlia, and a smaller Gallade. Jack set the photo back down on the night stand.
"Boy I've had some realistic dreams before but this one takes the cake." He whispered under his breath.
He walked back over to the window and opened it. He leaned his head out to see how far it was to the ground. There was a bush that looked pretty soft that could break his fall. He put his foot on the ledge of the window sill. Thinking twice before he decided he was going to jump.
"Part of me wants to stay and see how far this will go." He said to himself. "But I really want to see the rest of this town before I wake up."
With that said he let go of the window sill, and jumped aiming for the bush. He didn't noticed until it was to late but even tho the bush was soft enough to break his fall it had thorns. When Jack landed on the bush a sharp pain went throw his but. He yelled at the top of his lungs, and jump out of the bush. Syrus stopped eating.
"Is something wrong?" Ruby asked.
"I thought I herd something." Syrus told her.
"I also herd something." Claimed Emerald.
"Me too." Said Sapphire.
"Your all imagining things. I didn't hear anything." She lied.
Syrus crossed his arms.
"Ruby, your not hiding anything are you?"
Ruby was starting to sweat a little. "Hiding something? Like what?" She asked him.
Syrus frond at her. "Like a human boy from another dimension for example."
Now Ruby was really starting to sweat. He guess right on the first try. She quickly thought of a lie.
"Noway, where would I hide something that big without you knowing?"
Syrus put a hand to his chin. "Well perhaps your bedroom."
With that said he got up and ran up stairs to Ruby's bedroom and tried the door. Realizing it was locked he shook the doorknob. He then extended one of his elbow blades, and stuck it in the keyhole. Ruby came up shortly after he did.
"Brother! I can explain!" She yelled as she came up the stairs.
Syrus unlocked the door with his blade, and went inside. Ruby fallowed her brother inside. Syrus checked under her bed, and in the closet. She fallowed him as he searched her room. He didn't find anything out of the ordinary no trace of a human had been inside. He stopped in the center of the room.
"Explain what?" He asked her.
She thought about it for a moment. "Um, explain why my room is so clean."
He had to give her credit for that her room was clean. Without saying a word he left her room. After he shut the door behind him Ruby laid down on her bed. She was relieved that he didn't find him in there. Other wise her brother would've killed him for sure. She then sat up it just dawned on her that Jack was missing.
Jack walked around the town taking in the sites. He had never seen such a amazing town before at least not in a dream. He soon noticed that everyone was looking at him. Even tho he tried not to draw attention to himself. He also noticed that everyone around him was ether a Pokemon or a Pokemon with human characteristics. After a while he found a field that was on a hill. He laid down on the grass and stared up at the dome of trees around the town. Light shone throw the trees just fine to light up the town. Jack started to feel sleepy, and he started to close his eyes.
When he opened them he found himself surrounded by an Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon all around him. They just looked at him bright eyed. He sat up wondering why they were looking at him. They all seemed to have human characteristics but they also looked more like children to him.
"He's awake." Said the Eevee.
"Yea!" The rest said together.
"What the? Talking Eevee evaluations?" Jack was surprised.
"Of cores we can talk. All Pokemon can talk." Said the Glaceon.
"Yeah." The rest said.
Jack scratched his head. "I guess anythings possible in a dream."
"Sir, What kind of Pokemon are you?" Asked the the Jolteon.
Jack was about to answer when he was interrupted by another question.
"What kind of food do you like to eat?" Asked the Flareon.
"Do you have a girlfriend" Asked the Vaporeon.
"Whoa, one question at a time." He said. "First of all I'm not a Pokemon."
"Sure you are." Said the Umbreon. "Only Pokemon and halfbreed live here."
"Wheres here?" Jack asked.
Before they could answer him a tall female Espeon halfbreed came over to them.
"Girls." Said the Espeon. "It's time to go home."
"In a minute." They said together.
"Come on, leave that poor guy alone." She said. "I'm sorry are my daughters bothering you?"
"No, there just asking a lot of questions all at once." He told her.
"Yeah they do that all the time to me and my husband."
"We just want to know what kind of Pokemon he is." Said the Jolteon.
"Well, go ahead. Tell them what kind of Pokemon you are." She said to him.
"Well I'm not a Pokemon, I'm human." He told them.
It got very quiet on the hillside. The Espeon mother just stared at him with wide eyes.
"Girls we need to go, now!" She shouted.
"But mom." They said together.
"No buts, get away from him now!"
She gathered up her children, and quickly left the area leaving him behind. He could hear one of her kids asking her what a human was. Jack thought that was a little wired he never had that reaction in a dream before. Ruby ran throw the town looking everywhere for him. She stopped at a couple of places and asked a few halfbreed if they saw a human. Some said no, and others didn't know what a human looked like.
She stopped by a fountain to rest. Breathing heavy she know she had to find him before word spread to her brother. She sat down on the edge of the fountain, and gazed into the water. She couldn't understand why he would runaway like that. Was she not his type? Was he into other Pokemon girls instead of Gardevoir? She looked herself over in the reflection of the water.
Her eyes trailed her body starting from her long skinny legs. Up her smooth stomach to her bountiful breasts. Her long pink hair flowing down her back. The only thing she could find that might turn him off was her pail white skin.
'Jack, where have you gone?' she thought to herself.
Jack explored the countryside for a while. He found many beautiful things. The flours, the crystal clear water, the trees. He never seen such huge trees. Jack grow up in the city most of his life even then he never saw trees as big as the ones he saw before him. If he wasn't afraid of heights he'd try to clime to the top, and get a better look at the town. As he walked he couldn't figure out why he hadn't woke up yet. His stomach was starting to growl from hunger which he found strange. When your dreaming you normally don't feel hungry, or pain.
He decided to start heading back into town. As he walked the dirt path in the direction of town he noticed something running towards him in the distance. As it got closer he could see that it was white, and pink. Closing the distance between them he recognized that the being running towards him was the same Gardevoir he met earlier. She stopped a few feet in front of him. She was breathing very heavily due from all the running. In one of her hands she was caring a small pink Japanese style boxed lunch. The young Gardevoir took a couple of steps towards him then started falling foreword. Jack dashed over to her, and caught her in his arms just as she collapsed.
"Hey, are you alright?" Jack shook her gently.
She didn't open her eyes she was uncontentious, and her breathing was steady.
"Did she come all this way, to find me?"
Jack picked her up, and cared her off the path to an open field. She was incredibly light. Jack didn't have a problem caring her. She was still clutching the box lunch in her hand. He gently laid her on the soft green grass. He then removed his jacket, and laid it over her. Jack sat down, and stared at her. She was a very unusual color. Her skin was white like a normal Gardevoir. But her dress, and heir was a light pink. Jack had seen blue, and green Gardevoir from his game. But never had he seen a pink one.
Jack ran his hand over her shoulder. She moved at his touch. He quickly pulled his hand away. Her skin was soft, and smooth. Jack guessed that she was softer, and smoother then a human girl. But he couldn't confirm that for sure. He watched her chest rise, and fall with every breath. Jack placed his hands behind his head, and laid down on the grass. He stared up at the trees covering the town, and countryside. He wondered how it was even possible for trees to grow like that.
While Ruby was uncontentious she had a vivid dream. She dreamed that she was running in darkness, and no matter how fast she ran it felt like she wasn't getting anywhere. The voices of her family members seemed to chase her.
"Ruby, why are you obsessed with that boy?" Syrus's voice echoed in the darkness. "Does it not phase you that are parents were murdered by humans?"
"Yes it does." She told the voice. "But I believe that not all humans are the same."
"Ruby." Came Sapphire's voice. "Why can't you settle for a halfbreed for a boyfriend, like me.
Ruby thought about this for a moment then shook her head. "No, Jack's the only one I want."
"And what makes you so sure that I want you?" Jack suddenly appeared a few feet in front of her out of the darkness.
She stopped, and stud there in the darkness staring at him. After a moment or so Jack crossed his arms.
"At a loss of words are we?" He asked.
She lowered her eyes. "No, I'm just thinking."
"Thinking about what?" He asked.
"Of, a response." She said.
He closed his eyes. "Save your breath. It would never workout."
Her red eyes now focused on him. "What do you mean by it wouldn't workout?"
He pointed a finger at her. "Well just look at yourself your a Pokemon." He then pointed to himself. "I'm human, we are of two different species."
"What does that have to do with anything!" She shouted tears forming in her eyes.
Jack put up his hood, and placed his hands into his pockets. The hood on his jacket covered his eyes. "Even if we were together. What would be the end result?" he asked.
"Well."
"What! A child together?" He cut her off.
"Would that be a bad thing?" She asked.
"If you and me had a child. It would be a freak of nature ."
"No it wouldn't!" She screamed. "It would be a beautiful child."
"What species would it be?" He asked.
She took a moment to wipe away some of the tears. "It would be a, hybrid."
Jack started to turn around. "Like I said, a freak of nature." With that said he disappeared back into the darkness.
"Jack wait!"
She took off after him running in the direction he disappeared. Tears running down her face.
"Jack! Come back....Jack....Jack!" She screamed over and over.
Her eyes flashed open. "Jack don't go!" She sat up in the field.
Breathing heavily her eyes looked around frantic until they fell upon Jack staring at her with wide eyes. She took a deep breath, and tried to relax.
"Wh...What was that all about?" He asked.
"Nothing, just a dream." She told him.
"Looked more like a nightmare to me."
"Yes, a bad one too." She pulled her legs up, and rested her chin on her nee caps.
Jack rested his hand on her shoulder. "Do you want to talk about it?"
She shook her head. Jack felt a growling sensation coming from his stomach. He keeled over gripping his stomach. Ruby watched him do this. The look on his face told her he was in pain.
"Are you alright?" She asked.
Jack was breathing heavily sweat forming on his forehead. "Yeah, I'm...just....hungry....that's all."
She look next to her to see the Japanese boxed lunch that she brought with her. "Here." She handed it to him.
Jack was doubled over in hunger pains when he saw her present him with the boxed lunch.
"That...belongs....to....you....I...can't....eat...it." He said with every breath.
She smiled at him. "I made it for you. I knew you were going to be hungry, so I made you lunch."
Jack took the lunch, and opened it. Inside was two half's of a sandwich, and a Razz Berry. Jack scarfed down one of the sandwich half's witch seemed to have some sort of blue jelly. Ruby watched him eat with a smile on her face. Jack realized she was watching him, and looked over at her.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" He asked her.
Without saying a word she wiped a dab of the blue jelly off the side of his mouth with her finger, and brought it to her's.
"Mm delicious." She said after tasting the jelly. She placed her hands on the sides of her face as she blushed. "So rich, so pure." She went on.
Jack was confused. Sure it was good but he got the feeling that it wasn't the jelly she was talking about. After she stopped blushing she decided to tell him the truth about everything.
"Jack." She said.
He looked over to her while munching on the other half of the sandwich. His eyes met hers.
"Your not dreaming, you really are in another world."
Jack swallowed the bit of food that was in his mouth. "I know, I figured that out a while ago." He took another bite of the sandwich.
Ruby was surprised. She didn't think he could have figured it out so quickly without her to convince him.
"When did you figure it out?" She ask him.
He thought about it for a few minutes. "Well, there were signs but it really hit me when I started getting hungry." He picked up the Razz Berry, and examined it.
"Oh, what were the signs that all this was real?"
"The first one was that bush with two inch thorns, that fucker hurt." He told her.
"It must have, me and my family could hear you from the dining room."
"Hey can I ask you a couple of things?" He asked her.
"Sure you can ask my anything." She smiled at him warmly.
"Well first how do you know my name? I don't remember telling you."
"You see." She paused for a second. "Gardevoir are psychics, and being psychic we can see the future."
Jack raised an eyebrow. "So what, you just looked ahead to the point where I told you my name?"
Ruby shook her head. "No I already knew your name I just looked ahead to the point where you told my sisters your name. So what was the other thing you wanted to ask?"
Jack pointed to the Razz Berry. "Is this thing safe to eat?"
She giggled. "Yes it's safe, it might be a little sour I'm not even sure if it's ripe enough."
Jack pulled of one of the orange reddish berries off the main Berry, and put it in his mouth. As he chewed it up he realized that she was right it was sour, but it also had a burning sensation of sweetness as well.
"Well how is it?" She asked.
He swallowed the peace of berry before he answered. "It's good, kinda taste like a War Head." He then put another peace of the Berry in his mouth.
"A War what?" She said in a confused tone.
"A War Head." Jack could tell she didn't know what he was talking about. "It's a type of candy. It has a sour coding over a sweat sphere like center. It's really good."
"Oh, we don't really have anything like that here."
Jack stopped eating. "What, you don't have candy here?"
She shook her head. "I've never seen or herd of such a thing."
He finished eating the Berry then it dawn on him that he never got her name.
"Ruby Gem."
"Hmm?" He looked over at her.
"You wanted to know my name right? It's Ruby Gem."
Jack was shocked. "How did you know that?"
She smiled at him. "Gardevoir have all sorts of strong abilities. Being able to read minds is one of them."
Jack almost didn't believe it, but anything was possible in this world. "What! You can read people's minds!"
"Yes, all Gardevoir can read minds. It's a very natural thing in our world."
"Dam girl, stay out of my head!" He told her.
"Why?" She asked.
"My minds private, so stay out of it."
Ruby let out a sigh. "Fine, have it your way. I won't read your mind anymore." She wanted you know more about him, but she didn't want to damage the possible relationship between them by going against his wishes.
"There's just one thing I want to know." He said.
"What's that?" She asked.
He crossed his arms behind his head, and laid back down on the grass. "How the hell did I get here?"
"Come, I'll show you." Ruby got up, and took hold of his hands. After she pulled him to his feet still holding onto one of his hands. She ran back to the main road Jack struggling to keep up while she was pulling him with her. She pulled him along in the direction of town.
"Where are we going?" Jack shouted at her trying not to stumble on the dirt road.
"You'll see, just fallow me." She shouted back at him.
She led him out of the countryside, and throw the town. The light throw the tree's growing dim as the sun on the other side began to set. Ruby took him to the Forrest on the very edge of the town on the opposite side from the country. At this time it was almost dark as they now ran throw the woods. It all seemed familiar to him but he couldn't put his finger on it. It was now almost completely dark Jack could barely see the dirt path that they had been fallowing for the last five to ten minutes now.
"Where....are....we....go...ing?" Jack asked taking a deep breath with every word.
"We're almost there, just wait and you'll find out."
"Can...we...stop...I...can't...breath." Jack wheezed.
Ruby slowed down to a stop, and Jack clasped ageist a nearby tree. He clutched his stomach rocking back, and forth trying not to throw up.
"Sorry, I didn't realize how much weaker humans are compared to Pokemon."
"I'm....I'm gonna die!" He slightly vomited to the side of the tree.
"Your not going to die." Ruby crouched down in front of him, and rested her hands on his shoulders. "Jack just breath."
"I can't!" He coughed, and wheezed as he said this.
"Yes you can. You wouldn't be able to talk if you couldn't breath." She assured him.
Jack leaned to his left, and vomited several more times. After about a minute he seemed to stop puking. He wiped away the bits of vomit left around his mouth on his sleeve. He started to feel light headed, and felt himself plunging into the darkness of his uncontentious mind.
"Jack? Jack wake up!" Jack's eyes started to roll back into his head.
Ruby could feel him fading fast. She concentrated her healing powers into her lips. She then opened his mouth, and sealed her lips with his. As her powers passed from her lips into him Jack's body started to glow with a pink light. As the light finally faded away Jack's eyes came back into focus. He was very surprised to be in a lip lock with a Pokemon let alone a Gardevoir. Jack shoved her away then started spiting on the ground.
"What were you doing just know!" He demanded.
Ruby was busy brushing off some of the dirt that she fell backwards into. "I was just restoring your energy, or would you rather pass out instead?"
Jack turned away slightly embarrassed. "Um thanks I guess."
In the distance a Jack could see a strange light came from in between the tree's.
"Hey, whats that light over there?"
Ruby looked in the direction he was staring. "That's what I wanted to show you. The doorway from where you came."
Jack stud up, and started walking towards the light Ruby soon fallowed him. They moved past a few more tree's, and some tall grass then they came to a small clearing in the middle of the Forrest. The illuminating light was coming from a spring that was right in the center of the clearing. As they approached the spring Jack took notice of a Pokemon statue that was in the center. As Jack looked into the water he noticed something wasn't there.
"Where's our reflection?" He looked over at Ruby who's eyes were focused on him.
"There aren't any to see in this spring." She told him. "Tell me what do you see?"
Jack looked back into the water. All he could see was what appeared to be the blue sky, and closer to the statue was a bright glowing sphere that looked like the sun.
"Well it looks like the sky on a clear sunny day. But I don't get it you said there was a door here. I don't see any doors."
Ruby giggled. "Well it's not so much a door as it is a window."
Jack raised an eyebrow. "A window? To where?" He said in a confused tone.
"To your world." She answered.
Jack looked back at the water. "A window to my world?" He looked back at her. "How's that possible?"
She put a finger to her chin, and thought for a moment. "I'm not sure. It's just always been like that as far as I know."
He leaned down to touch the water with his finger tips. Ruby grabbed his. "If you touch it. The light will disappear unless you like the dark then go ahead."
Jack pulled his hand away from the spring, and faced her. "I like the dark. I just like it better when I'm the only one in it."
Jack backed up a few feet then sat down on the grass, and stared off into space at the strange water. Ruby joined him but she only stared at him admiring him like he was the most expensive object that she desired. He was to engrossed with his world that appeared to be just below the water's surface to notice her. They remained like that for about 15 to 20 minutes without saying a word. Then Ruby looked up towards the dome of trees.
"Beautiful, aren't they." She said.
Jack broke his trances, and looked over at her.
"What are?"
She pointed a finger up towards the branches of a nearby tree. He looked where she was pointing. At first he couldn't see anything but then a small orb of light was moving throw the branches. It seemed to leave a trail of fading light behind it as it moved. Soon after the first one appeared more started to show themselves tell there was more then 20 in and around the trees.
"That's cool, what are they fireflies?"
"Fireflies?" She said in a confused tone.
"Their an insect that lights up at night." He told her.
"Oh, nope not fireflies."
Jack got up, and started walking towards the tree where he saw the first orb. "Well then what are they?" He reached out his hand to touch one that was floating past him.
"Their spirits."
Jack pulled his hand back, and turned around to face her with a grim look on his face. "Spirits, like dead people?"
"Mostly Pokemon but yeah dead ones."
He slowing walked back to where he was sitting, and sat back down on the grass. This time he pulled his legs up to his chest, and started rocking back n forth. Ruby noticed the grim expression on his face.
"Um, Jack are you ok?" She reached out with her hand, and rested it on his shoulder.
"I...I...I almost touched a ghost!" He cried in terror.
"Jack, calm down."
"CA..CA..CALM DOWN...I..I..I almost touched a!..
Ruby put her finger to Jack's mouth.
"Just relax." She said in a soothing voice. "There just spirits not ghosts so they can't hurt you."
Jack brushed her finger away. "Whats the difference?" He asked.
"Well according to my big sister Emerald ghosts are when people or Pokemon die really young or haven't done anything to completed their life they'll sometimes turn into a ghost. But there are rare occasions that when they are pure of heart their body will turn into spirits and preserve parts of their soul as well as memories."
"Is that really true?"
Ruby shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know I've never seen it happen or know anyone that's seen it so I'm not sure."
Jack relaxed now understanding a little about what they were which didn't scare him as much. The two of them watched the spirits dance around in the branches and leaves of the trees. After awhile Ruby tried to think of something that would break the awkward silence.
"Um, so Jack whats your life like back home?"
"Well my high school life is hell, I get picked on by some girl named Claire, and I don't have a girlfriend because girls think I'm a creepy emo guy."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." She said.
"But it's not all bad. My mom owns the apartment complex where I live and gave me one of the apartments to live in. So I pretty much live on my own, and I can have friends over any time I want."
"What about your father what does he do?"
Jack's body tensed up. "That son of a bitch left me and my mom a long time ago."
"Oh, do you hate your father?"
"Not as much as I uses too." He told her.
"Oh, well at least your parents are still alive. My father and mother were both killed during the Dominance War."
Jack's body relaxed when he saw tears begin to form in her eyes. "You don't have to tell about it, not if it brings back bad memories."
She wiped away the tears. "Thanks." She put a smile on her face. "I'll tell you some other time."
Jack looked back down at the water. It started to glow with a bright white light. "Ruby."
She looked at him. "Yes Jack?"
"I have to go back home now."
"So soon? I was hoping you could stay for a few more days."
"Ruby I don't belong in this world. I need to go back to mine."
Ruby let out a sigh. "Your right." Ruby gave him a hug. "I'm really glad I got to meet you." She whispered into his ear.
After she let go Jack stood up and looked down at the spring staring into the light illuminating from it. "This is where I came into this world from. Makes sense that this would be the way back."
He stepped into the water, and waded towards the middle. The spring started to glow even brighter, and the water started to swirl around him. Jack could feel pressure pulling him as the bottom of the spring seemed to disappear. The glowing water rose up out of the spring and formed into a small glowing cyclone. Ruby watched as Jack was sucked into the middle of it. It rose up to about 10 feet.
Tears started to form in her eyes. 'Goodbye Jack.'
The cyclone then clasped on itself, and crashed back into the spring. Glowing water flow everywhere soaking Ruby and the area around the spring. The water stopped glowing and returned to it's normal color. Ruby wiped the water away from her face, and stud up to leave. As she turned away the sound of something breaking the water's surface. She looked back to see Jack standing in the spring breathing heavily from lack of air. She just stud there to surprised to do anything.
After catching his breath Jack took notices to his surroundings, and realized that he was still in the Pokemon world. "Why...am I...still..here?" He said with confusion in his voice.Chapter End Notes:Don't forget to rate and comment before you leave
