Story Notes:
This is like something to empty my head because until I find the flash drive with the Myst series on it I'm screwed, so this is to keep you entertained in the meantime.
Chapter 5: Confusion
Rain pounded harshly against Rustboro's brick streets and buildings. For the 5th day in a row, heavy rain had halted Jack's progress. During weather like this the gym was closed, and Solaris was sick due to the drastic weather change. As she rested on his chest, Jack read a book on Pokémon legends. After a whole page about Entei he quickly flipped through the book, 7 more pages of Entei!? Jack didn't like skipping so he gently closed the book and placed it on the pillow next to him, causing Solaris to stir lazily.
"Hi Jack."
"Hi, feeling any better?"
As if in reply she sneezed and let her head fall back onto his chest, "No." Jack pet her head slowly as she leaned into the treatment.
Jack stopped for a moment, "Hey, Sol? Can you tell me exactly what it was your other trainer did to you?"
Solaris sighed and looked at him, "Are you sure?" Jack nodded.
Before I was captured I usually stayed in the area of Mt. Coronet, but after not seeing other sights for so long, I broke the one rule in my family. I decided to start to explore outlying cities on the mainland, and one day while walking through a forest I found a Mightyena caught in a snare trap. I couldn't help but feel sorry for it so I helped it out. Immediately something clicked between us and we had decided to become mates once my heat hit a week later. After we had finally sealed it that we were mates, I had been captured by a kid no older than you. When I was finally let out he... made me do things to him; pleasure him. It wasn't until we were attacked by someone in what looked like your ranger uniform, but in black and grey. Zero had called me out and we lost against the opponent's Raikou."
Jack almost jumped up, "He had Raikou?!? How?" As he asked questions frantically, Solaris swat him on the nose to shut him up.
"You wanted to hear the story, so shuddap!"
" Yes ma'am, sheesh."
"When I finally awoke a second time, I found myself with you here." Solaris said before she buried her head into Jack's chest.
"Hey, Solaris? If we had the chance to find your mate, would you want to?"
Solaris raised her head, her tail weakly wagging, "What are you talking about?"
"I'm sure if we go back to the forest, we could find him again. So when you get better, are you up for it?"
She quickly stood up and nuzzled his cheek, "Oh thank you Jack! Let's go now!"
Jack though surprised at her sudden demeanor, sat up and wiped his shirt off, "We'll go tomorrow, I need to take a nap now. All this rain is making me... tired." With that Jack fell back onto the bed, lightly snoring. Solaris smiled and licked his cheek before nuzzling it, then lay next to him.
Kelly stood under a tree in long black pants and a black hoodie. She smirked as she threw a black poke-ball in the air, a gray drop looking Pokémon appearing. It quickly turned yellow and the rain stopped, and turned into sunny skies before the Pokémon disappeared in a mass of black light.
"Hmm, I'll have to keep a close eye on this one, maybe even... Test him before the boss." With that she walked off toward the outskirts, leaving no trace of her presence behind.
Solaris quickly opened her eyes, seeing daylight she was quick to wake Jack. After a quick 7 minute shower, Jack was ready. He turned the room key in at the front desk, and then walked out into the blazing sunlight. "So the forest you were captured at, do you know where it is?"
Solaris thought for a minute, "It was somewhere to the east, near a tree town I think."
"That really narrows it down..." Jack sighed as they walked eastward, toward Fortree.
As they walked down the trail, Jack couldn't help but be apprehensive. Unlike every other day, there were no trainers on the trail, at all. Not even wannabe ninja kids, it was just quiet except the wind. Jack suddenly stopped and listened. Solaris stopped a few feet ahead of him and turned around.
"What is it?"
As if in reply a sudden blue explosion kicked up dust, shrouding both of them in a cloud. It was quickly blown away by Solaris' Razor wind to reveal a man in blue jeans and a dark green jacket over a black shirt.
"You have something that belongs to me." He says as he steps forward pointing a finger at Jack, "And I want it back." Suddenly a blue blur fell in front of Jack and quickly slid behind him while grabbing his bandaged arm. After it got him into a hold Jack smiled. Seeing as how it made a mistake, the Lucario went to jump over jack. He took this opportunity and opened Talon's Poke' ball.
"Talon, take care of the Lucario while I take care of this asshole."
Talon spoke his approval and quickly used quick attack on the Lucario. Jack was too busy to concentrate on them as he ran toward the other trainer who quickly dodged Jack's punch and grabbed his arm. The man then punched Jack in the stomach then in the throat, causing him to cough and fall to the ground. Before Jack could get back up the man picked him up by his shirt, and kneed him in the chest, causing Jack to cough blood. The man then dropped him, and kicked in the chest twice, hard. With one final stomp to the face, Jack's vision started going black, just in time to see the man grab Solaris and to see the Lucario walking toward him.
Jack woke up hearing the sound of rushing water and smelling something sweet. He opened his eyes to find himself on the bank of a river, with fresh berries near his head. He quickly grabbed one and took a bite. Immediately after he finished the first one he spared no time in grabbing a second one.
"I thought you might like those."
Jack immediately jumped up in surprise. It was the same Lucario from before!
"No no no, calm down! It's okay I won't hurt you!"
"I don't believe you! Where's Solaris?"
The Lucario sighed, "You should sit down."
The Lucario quickly set up a fire as night fell and began her story. How her trainer abused her and threatened her into doing his biding. She also heavily expressed how she didn't want any of what happened to have happened and to prove it she presented Jack with Talon's poke' ball. Now that Jack was a little less apprehensive she continued before presenting him with another ball, this one black and yellow.
"What's this?" Jack asked.
"It's my poke' ball. In the cloud of dust, I was able to snatch it off my trainer. I... want you to have it, you actually care for your Pokémon and it shows, so will you be my trainer?"
Jack thought for a moment, what if she was double crossing me? After a minute of deciding he accepted her request and she crawled over to him seductively and rested her head on his shoulder, quickly falling to sleep. Jack ignoring what he thought was obvious, put his head back onto the tree he was leaning on, and joined Autumn in sleeping.Chapter End Notes:Again, sorry it is short and confusing but I will absol(hah)lutely make it up in the next chapter!!!!!
