Chapter 1: A New Beginning
No matter where I am, I feel the presence of lucario. Even though I can't see, hear or smell them, it's like I can feel them around me. I know this sounds weird, but I think I can sense aura. I looked up on the Internet that lucario have higher aura than any other pokemon.
It hasn't been proven but they say that humans, being so closely related aura wise, to lucarios. Could possibly use aura like a lucario can! I haven't had any solid proof that, that is the case with me. I just kinda... know. You know?

A well built house sits oddly in the middle of Eterna forrest. My home. One story tall, made from the most durable wood. A drive way leads from the front door a few hundred meters to the nearest road. Although I don't have a car or garage, I walk to town for groceries and such when I need to.
It's mid morning, about 8:00am.
My digital alarm clock beeps unpleasantly, its loud noise waking me quickly from my sleep. I groggily open my eyes. The beeping rattling my ear drums like a hitmonchan hitting a punching bag.
"Just ten more minutes." I beg, lazily slapping the alarm clock's snooze button. Finally silencing it's aggravating beep sequence.
I yawn loudly. Sitting up in bed stretching my arms into a "V" shape over my head. Now wide awake, I get out of bed one foot in front of the other, until I feel the floor beneath my feet.
Normally when someone wakes up in the morning, they go threw the normal regiment before anything else. Washing their face, brushing their teeth.
Me. I head strait for the kitchen. I believe in starting out the day with a heavy dose of breakfast. My face and teeth will eventually see some cleaning, but I've gotta eat first.
An egg here, bread and milk there and I whip together my breakfast. Stacking the cooked food on my plate I happily trot over to my kitchen table. Pulling out the only chair there, I sit and use my steak knife to cut the stack of French toast into fourths. Applying syrup to french toast and salt to eggs, I finally begin eating my food.
As I eat, I think of how my life would be had I become a pokemon trainer. Waking up to the smiling faces of my very own pokemon team. They'd help me with my daily chores, then we'd go traveling and stuff together. Battling and training daily to become the best... That'd be awesome.
After finishing my food, I wash what little dishes I've made. Dishes now clean I start walking back to my bedroom. On the way, I notice something strange. My living room window is wide open. Witch is weird, because each night before bed, I always close and lock my windows. And if you weren't following the story to this point, I didn't unlock or open any windows.
I investigate further.
There are no signs of a break in. The window looks as if someone opened it from inside... But I'm the only one here. My parents left the house to me and moved to Kanto months ago.
So who could have done this? More importantly, are they still here? My heart drops into my stomach at the thought. I could be killed in my own home by some magical break in expert who mysteriously opened a locked window from the outside...
Then it hit me... It could be a pokemon! What if a pokemon using psychic wanted to come in? It could use psychic to unlock the window and open it without lifting a finger.
That would explain my undamaged window. But a pokemon wouldn't find anything interesting in my house, let alone entering without causing any damage. It must have come and gone already, right?
But what if it didn't? What if there's a wild pokemon still in my house? I could killed!
My heart feels like it dropped into my stomach once again. My imagination running wild as fear of what pokemon could be here goes into my head. A houndoom, sneasel, or beedril!? They use psychic too! Right? I try to hold my fear back temporarily. Gaining some courage, I walk over to the open window, closing and locking it. As I do, I get the most ominous feeling. As if someone is standing behind me. Turning around quickly I notice a pink object fly into my bed room.
Oh shit! It is a pokemon! But what do I do? I'm not a trainer, I cant battle it. And I sure as hell can't fight it myself. But if I don't do something my house is going to be destroyed! Or worse, me!
I remove what ever fear is inside me, running to the front closet. I pull out my dad's old baseball bat. Just in-case it attacks me.
'W-well, here goes nothing.' I tip toe slowly to my bedroom. Gaining back any fear I'd lost with every step, every creak on the wooden floor giving away my possition.
My bedroom door is left wide open, a faint pink glow is visible. I inch closer and see the glows source. A pink pokemon, long bulb tipped tail, catlike ears, and roughly a third of my height.
It hasn't seen me yet. Busy rummaging through the top drawer of my dresser while floating in the air. Looking for something to eat I guess.
But what the fuck is that thing!? I've never seen a pokemon like that before. It's a psychic yes, but who's heard of one that emits a pink glow, and floats?
I stand there bat in hand waiting to see what it does next. To my surprise it stops moving altogether. "Hum?" I say out loud.
The pokemon then turns around while still holding my dresser drawer. It's sky blue eyes locking onto me. I start shaking in fear. This mysterious floating pink pokemon is staring at me!
The pokemon let's go of the dresser and floats toward me. 'Just stay calm. It doesn't look hostile or threatened. Maybe I can lead it out the front.'
I slowly place the bat down onto the floor to show i mean no harm. The pokemon immediately finds new interest in my actions. It's eyes glow the same pink as it's body. My dad's bat lifts inches off the floor toward the creature. When the bat is close enough the thing starts sniffing it.
'Maybe it's just some harmless low level pokemon after all.' But if it tries anything I need to be able to defend myself.
"Let me just take that back." I reach my hand out to take the bat back. Its mouth opens, while it's eyes shut as the dusty old bat elicits a sneeze. But the pokemon covers its nostrils, dropping the bat onto the floor, rolling it under my bed. My only offense now so far out of reach. The pokemon continues holding it's nose while making an 'ah, ah' sound. It's actions proving useless, as it sneezes cutely.
"Bless you." I say instinctively, always looking for a chance to be nice. "Thank you. Wow, that thing is really dusty." it answers much to my surprise, sounding both cute and very feminine. But pokemon can't talk. Right?
"I-it talked! What is this thing!" I move back out of the door way. Trying to move as far away as possible. "Hey! I'm not an it! My names Mew, and I'm the most powerful psychic pokemon there is! So don't call me an it!" Mew yells at me, becoming way more hostile in my mind. She may look cute but she's still a pokemon, a naturally born killing machine.
"Sorry, sorry! Just please, don't kill me." I plead trying to calm her down.
"I'm not going to kill you silly. You just upset me a little." She says. That's a relief. Last thing I need is some chaotic psychic pokemon trying to kill me.
"W-well why are you here?" Mew flies around me and into my living room. "Well if you must know, I'm looking for a human named Lio." She says.
"That's me! But why are you looking for me?" A pokemon looking for me by name? Who is she?
"So many questions... *sigh* it cant be helped. I'll explain." She motions for me to come over. I hesitantly walk into the living room and sit on my favorite arm chair. Today's events settling into my mind.
"I don't normally do house visits. I was ordered to come here by Arceus." She points to the ceiling.
That name! I know that name! "Arceus the god pokemon? He exists!?" He can't really be real right?
"Yup! He told me to watch over Lio Rukario. I thought your name was unique, but I still don't know why he wants me to watch over you." Wow! Arceus the god pokemon wants me watched over. Me! But why? I'm no kid.
"Watch over me? You mean like baby sitting?" I hope not.
"I guess so. I'm just here to make sure your safe." she says. Safe huh? Sounds like babysitting no matter how she puts it.
"Hey, I appreciate all the godly attention and all but why protect me? What makes me so special." I ask.
"Arceus has his reasons. I don't question him, I just follow orders. He is the head legendary after all." She says, not answering my questions entirely.
"This is so weird." I'm visited by A talking pokemon. I find out that not only is arceus real, but he wants me under this small pink pokemon's watch? Weird enough? Yup this tips the weird scale.
"I know it's weird Lio, but just try to bear with it." Bear with it she says? I still don't know what Arceus has planned!
"Oh, since I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, let's go do something fun!" She says suddenly.
"What does a small pink psychic pokemon do for fun?"
"I'm a legendary small pink psychic pokemon, and I love to travel." A legendary pokemon huh? How can I even prove that?
"I don't really want to travel. Besides how do I know everything you've said up to this point is the truth? For all I know you could be just another psychic pokemon playing a messed up joke on me." It happened once.
Mew giggles cutely. "You want me to prove I'm a legendary pokemon?" She asks.
"Yes I do. B-but not here! Let's go for a walk, I know of a better place."
"Ok! You walk, I'll float." She says, using psychic to unlock and open my front door. "After you Lio." She motions for me to leave out. I walk out the door followed by mew. She floats past and stops, waiting for me to lead the way.
Only after closing and locking my door do I realise, I forgot to wash up before leaving. I shrug my shoulders. I'll do it when I get back. If I get back...Chapter End Notes:Hope you enjoyed! Look forward to more very soon
