Vaporeon's new life by Bio_Hazard

The old master

The next day Sandy got up at about ten o'clock in the morning. She sat up slowly, holding her blanket to her body; she was undressed in bed again.

She stood up and got dressed, and walked out. She then sent one of her pokemon to Prof Oak.
Nurse Joy walked over to her.
"I'm sorry Sandy but I need you to help me with something."
"What?"
"Last night while we slept, the Vaporeon got loose."
Sandy squealed.
"Now, now, it couldn't get out of the center I locked every door and window tight, and they are still locked."
"So," Sandy started," you want me to help you find it?"
She sounded hopeful.
"Yes." Joy replied.

Twenty minutes later Sandy had found the Vaporeon in a predictable, if not bad, place.

"Joy!" she yelled, "He's over here!"
He was scratching at the storeroom door.
"Are you hungry?" Sandy asked.
Vaporeon nodded
"Okay," she said, taking off her backpack, "here you go."
She took out a big packet of pokemon food and a bowl from the crockery cupboard and poured the food into it, she placed it on the floor and the Vaporeon slowly walked over to it. He sniffed it first; to make sure it was safe, then started eating.

Joy came running in, looking quite distressed, then, after seeing the situation, calmed down.
"So he was hungry." She said.
"Yeah..." Sandy muttered.
"Well he looks much better! Maybe you can take him home with you today!"
"Thank you, Nurse Joy."
"Don't thank me, thank yourself; without him finding you, Sandy, he would have died."
Sandy nodded, and lowered her hand to Vaporeon's back, stroking him.
"Are you going to nickname him?" Nurse Joy asked.
"You think I should?" Sandy asked.
"Yes." Nurse joy replied.

Sandy thought hard for an appropriate nickname that wasn't too sissy like Lucky or Squirt.
"Blueberry" she said," Ill name him Blueberry."
"Not bad" an unfamiliar voice said. "I had wondered where you had gone, Vaporeon!"

A Team Rocket Grunt stepped out of the shadows.
"Now, return!" he yelled, taking out a poke'ball.
Sandy jumped in front of the red beam that appeared to withdraw him.
"You'll do no such thing to this poor pokemon!" Nurse Joy yelled.
"Shut up!" the Rocket grunt yelled, knocking her to the ground.
"AAAH!"

Sandy stood up, very angry.
"You'll leave this pokemon alone!" she yelled.
"Get out of my way!" he kicked her in the gut, causing her to collapse.

Blueberry looked up, hate in its eyes.
"Now return!" the grunt said again.
The red beam merely deflected off an aura that seemed to radiate around the pokemon.
"Wha?!" he said dumbfounded, "Grr, Fine! Go Raichu!"
Nurse Joy looked up to see a very badly ill pokemon be summoned. She gasped loudly.

Sandy slowly stood up, holding a stool, anger running along it like electricity. She ran at the Rocket Grunt and knocked him in the leg, breaking it.
"AAAGH!" he yelled.
Just at that moment, Simon and Terry came running in.
"Take his poke'balls!" Sandy yelled.
Simon released Gardevoir who took the poke'balls with its psychic abilities, while Terry released a Dratini.
"Want to see a pokemon's real power?!" he yelled, "Dratini, Dragon Rage!"
The Rocket Grunt was knocked out of a window, and out of consciousness.
"Oops, sorry about the window, heh heh..."
"No problem," Simon replied, "Gardevoir?"
The window repaired itself.

"Thanks that you got here when you did." Joy said, "I don't know what we would have done!"
"No problems," Simon replied, "What did we need the poke'balls for though?"
Sandy took them from him and opened them, one at a time. All of the pokemon were extremely under cared for.
"Oh, god." Nurse Joy said, "This is horrible! Lets just hope that he is the only Trainer in the world like this..."
She kneeled down to inspect a young Jolteon.
"Please take care of them Nurse Joy." Sandy said.
"I will. And please tell Jenny on the way out of town to inspect all trainers pokemon as trainers pass."
"OK" Simon said.
