Story Notes:

This is series number two from me, it's running along currently with my first one, you can expect this to relate to the first one too as a matter of fact. I've tried to put plenty of humor into this series so hopefully everyone will get at least a giggle from it.

Disclaimer: All characters, settings and various other things are property of their respective owners, I do not own Pokemon, if I did I probably wouldn't be caught dead here. *tear* On that note I don't really have anything to do with them, but I'd often like to, because frankly it would be fun. Any characters they don't belong to me I'll have gotten permission from their respective owners to use. (aside Pokemon, I'd hate to send the e-mail asking them to use their characters in a story such as this.) No Copyrights lawsuits plz.

Chapter 3: A shaky friendship.

"Eighty one-thousand, eighty two one-thousand, eighty three one-thousand." Grace heard in the middle of the morning, which made her slowly and groggily wake up from the rather nice slumber she was in up until now. She slowly perked her head up and groggily opened her eyes, slowly adjusting to the bright lights of the room. Before now she was only asleep for several hours.

After her eyes finally focused, she peered over the edge of the bed, trying to find the source of the noise. There she saw David standing on his hands, not his feet, raising himself up and down and counting apparently. "Eighty eight one-thousand, eighty nine one-thousand." David counted to himself as he continued to raise himself up and down from while inverted.

"Ninety one-thousand, ninety two one-thousand." David continued to count, as Grace found this was getting very annoying very quickly. "Ninety two one-thousand." David continued without any signs of stopping, further increasing Grace's annoyance with him. "Ninety three one thousand, ninety four on--" David said as he continued to exercise, however being cut off by Grace.

"SHUT UP!!!" Grace yelled out at the top of her lungs.

"Wha...wha...whaaahh!" David said as he fell over, hitting the floor head first then falling over flat on his back, being caught completely off guard by Grace suddenly shouting that. "Ow..." David murmured as he laid on the floor perfectly still for a few moments, before he raised his legs up and flipped from where he was laying up to his feet.

"What the hell Grace?" David asked as he rubbed his head where he hit it, not quite sure why she yelled at him yet.

"You woke me up dumbass!" Grace snapped as she pointed her ears back, with a slight growl in her throat.

"Sorry, I'll try to be quieter now..." David murmured as he returned to how he was before.

"I can still hear it just fine you know!" Grace once again snapped pointing out that her hearing was much more sensitive than his.

"Okay fine, I'll just count mentally then if it bothers you." David said as he continued as he was, flipping himself up on his hands again.

"I said STOP damn it!" Grace yet again shouted in protest, annoyed by the mere fact that he was doing that to start with.

David let out a defeated sigh and rolled over from where he was, returning to his feet again. "Okay, you win." He muttered as he pulled out a chair and sat down, feeling restless now. Grace nodded and grinned to herself, quite satisfied that she got her way this time. She lay back down again and curled up and tried to fall asleep again.

"My, my, kitties got you whipped, doesn't she?" Luke commented with a small grin, breaking from his meditation after Grace and David's small disagreement.

"Shut up asshole!" Grace snapped, roused again from her rest by his comment.

"Sure, I'll shut up if you can force me too." Luke dared her, intentionally trying to get her worked up. Grace growled loudly, knowing she was outmatched by him and also knowing she couldn't take being in here much longer. She had to get out. She jumped down off of the top bunk of the bed and went straight for the door.

"Grace wait, you--" David protested as she went for the door.

"DO NOT STOP ME!" Grace snapped at David, not in the mood for him trying to keep her inside of the room because of how "dangerous" she is.

David stopped with those words and drew a small breath, nodding and giving her a firm look. "Grace, stop, please." David again asked.

Grace blinked a few times as the sudden change David seemed to make, she almost felt compelled to stop now, but she quickly shook off whatever it was that had stopped her with her anger boiling over again. "No, I wonr17;t." Grace answered threateningly, not interested in staying.

"Can you promise me you wonr17;t hurt anyone?" David questioned her, keeping the firmness he had about himself.

Grace blinked a few times and remained silent for a few moments. "Fine, I promise." Grace answered firmly, with the anger dropping from her voice.

David stepped forward and pulled the door handle, opening it for her. She walked out without any further word and walked down the corridor calmly. David watched her walk away, knowing that this likely wasn't a good idea but he had to try and trust her. He stepped back inside the room and sighed, then looking at Luke with a glare. "Did you honestly have to provoke her?" He asked, not exactly getting why Luke even did that to start with.

"Well you two have to get along somehow during the daytime don't you? If you learn how to deal with the daytime her then you'll be set. If anything I'm helping!" Luke said with a lack of concern in his voice.

"You're a bastard Luke..." David muttered as he shook his head, letting out a defeated sigh.

Elsewhere Grace had already gotten up on the deck of the ship, which was already fairly crowded with people; thankfully everyone seemed to not be paying her any heed today, probably because she wasn't talking now. She jumped up on the safety rail of the ship and walked along it to get around, knowing that it was rather careless but she didn't want to weave through the legs of everyone on the ship either.

She found a nice open spot on the ships deck where humans were and jumped of the rail and back onto the wooden deck of the ship, sitting down and looking up at the sky. It was pretty clear today, with several clouds scattered about, and a good southward wind as well. As she sat there she noticed all of the different kinds of passengers there were on the ship.

Most of the passengers on the ship were humans of all types, shapes and sizes, it has certainly been a long been awhile since sher17;s been around this many humans before. Surprisingly enough, very few of them actually seemed to be trainers like David. She could probably count on her paws the Pokémon she's seen on the ship, and possibly the number of actual trainers sher17;s seen here.

One thing she noticed was how happy the Pokémon sher17;s encountered thus far seem to be. It seemed odd, actually seeing things in this perspective again. The last time she was around people like this was when she was in the arms of her old trainer as an Eevee. In fact, this reminded her of the travels her and her old trainer shared.

Her mind went back to the last trip her and her old trainer shared on a ship such as this, the day was really crystal clear and warm. She was really nervous about going onto the water like this, not being used to the idea of traveling on water before then, she could barely swim then as is, in fact she was never really a good swimmer.

Despite all of the convincing her trainer tried to give her she still felt uncomfortable, even though she was safely snuggled up in his arms the whole time. One particular thing she remembered on that trip was all of the water type Pokémon she saw traveling along side the ship, more than she could honestly count, and more types than she really even knew existed.

She remembered her and him passing the whole day just standing there watching them, it was almost magical. She shook her head and felt a bit sad now, remembering those sorts of memories about her trainer, it just made her remember how much she missed him. Suddenly, almost an urge came over her to check if there were any water types traveling along with this ship, she never really checked despite the fact she had down a cat walk on the safety rail of the ship.

She went to the safety rail of the ship and lifted the front side of her self up, bringing her two front paws on top of the rail as she peered over the edge of it. She looked around but didn't notice any water type Pokémon swimming along with this ship. She was slightly disappointed with this; she would have really loved seeing that again for old timer17;s sake.

She stood there for several moments, then without warning she noticed a shadow cast over her. She turned her head around to see what it was, only to notice that the shadow had left. She turned her head around again and thought nothing of it, but just as she did the shadow returned. She quickly turned her head around this time again but this time she saw a large, imposing figure standing right behind her, it was a Gengar.

She blinked a few times, and then a sudden chill went down her spine. She let out a scream in terror, having been afraid of ghost types for as long as she can remember, her body reacted in a desperate need to get away, however, it's first reaction was to jump over what was blocking Graces main means of escape, the safety rail.

Before she could even think she found herself falling over the edge of the ship, not even realizing what she just did until she hit the water, quickly resurfacing and struggling to stay afloat. "Help!!" She yelled out as she struggled to swim, her body however not being fit for such a task along with the fact she didn't know how to swim.

"Please! David! Help!" She cried out, but her pleas for help were unanswered, it was now she realized how stupid she was for actually leaving that room, if she had listened to David she'd still be on the ship, comfortably laying on that bed still. And now, she was here, about to drown, helpless, and ironically alone...again.

She continued to plea for help, praying that someone would hear her, it seemed less and less likely the when the ship can completely passed her, leaving her adrift in the ships wake. "David!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs in a final attempt to draw attention, yet again there was seemingly no reply from anyone on the ship. After a few more moments her down hill battle to stay afloat finally reached its end, with her head finally slipping below the waters surface as he two front paws tried to keep her from sinking, failing miserably to do such as she was pulled under the surface of the water.

It was over now, she had no real hope, nobody would notice her now, she had lost, and the world finally took her. Was this really how it was going to end? Just when she had a glimmer of hope of getting out of the hell she found herself in for no reason? There were a few points where she honestly thought she was better off dead, true, but just when she had a renewed hope, it was stripped from her, and taken away, just like everything else in her life.

As she continued to slip down past the surface, her mind rushed, flashing thoughts and memories through her mind at a blinding rate, when it only seemed like the world around her was getting slower and slower. 'Why?' She thought. 'Why couldn't it all just work out...why? Why is the world against me...I never did anything to deserve this...I...I don't deserve any of this!' She thought, wanting to deny what was happening, wishing that she could have just lived happily ever after.

As she sank, her desperation was replaced with sadness, sadness as seemingly bottomless as the water she was sinking into. Her memories were getting more and more vivid now, ones of her past, happier moments she had as an Eevee with her trainer. 'Someone...please...help...' She thought as she continued to sink further and further down.

As the memories continued to race through her mind they began to become mixed with her still recent memories with David, she had never really thought about until now really, he really was similar to her old trainer in more ways than just the fact he was kind to her. David and her old trainer shared quite a close resemblance to each other as well; they even had the same goal of challenging the Pokémon League.

'David...' She thought as she felt her breath becoming increasingly more difficult to hold, knowing that she was going to have to accept this fate like it or not any moment now. The irony of it all, David was a one of a million shot for her, she knew that fact quite well, he really was her only way out of the depressing state her life was in up to this point. And yet so shortly after meeting him, this happened.

She had hoped maybe when it was all said and done, she'd be normal again, be as she was with her old trainer, she kind of didn't mind if they never found him again, she honestly could see herself being happy with David if given the chance, sure he had his quirks, but that's just what helped to make him different. Oh well, the was no arguing that things happened for a reason, if this is what was meant to happen, then she could only hope it was for the best, at least for him.

With that, she submitted herself to her fate, letting out the breath she was holding and taking in another breath, allowing the water to rush into her lungs. After a few short, yet painful moments it was just about over, with her consciousness slowly dirtying out towards the dark abyss of what seemed to be death.

'Goodbye...David...' She thought to herself in her final farewell to the world, before everything went black, and then faded into nothing.

--------------

'Am I...dead?' Grace thought as she slowly started to rouse out of what seemed to death. She noticed she wasn't breathing, but also felt like someone was doing something too her, she wasn't sure what though. In the first few seconds of her apparent reawakening she noticed something pressing against her chest and something against her mouth, along with a lot of now distorted, weird sounds. She slowly opened her eyes to see what was happening, right after doing so she saw a face right in front of hers.

She immediately recognized the face, it was David's, and he was...kissing her? A blush immediately covered her face as snapped her head back, immediately coughing up water as soon as she moved. She scrambled up to her feet and backed away, coughing for a few moments as she looked around, seeing a lot of people gathered around her. She also noticed her fur was dripping wet and cold, she didn't really even remember much about what had happened. She just knew that she fell off of the ship because of something scary that spooked her.

She looked back at David after regaining some of her senses, not really sure what to think at the moment. "Are you okay Grace?" David asked, walking up to her to see if she was really okay. She panted for air as he stepped towards her; however the main thing that clicked in her head was the fact that he was just kissing her!

"Wh...why were you...kissing me?!" Grace snapped, questioning why he was kissing her, misunderstanding what he was trying to do there.

David laughed slightly and rubbed the back of his head at that question, knowing that she totally misunderstood what he was doing there. "I wasn't kissing you; I was trying to revive you...you fell off of the ship and drowned." David answered her.

Grace blinked a few times and noticed his clothes were dripping wet as well, he saved her? But...what in the hell was he just doing then? "Y-you were! I know what the hell a kiss is you...you dolt! I'm not that thick you idiot!" She snapped in reply, convinced that was a kiss.

"Grace...it wasn't a kiss..." David said as he shook his head. "I was trying to get you to breathe again by forcing some air into your lungs, if I didn't you'd probably be dead right now." He explained, however it didn't really make any sense to Grace, she was quite ignorant of how her body worked, and she didn't even know what lungs were!

"Wha...no you were kissing me! Stop making up excuses!" Grace said, with the idea of David kissing her now firmly stuck in her head.

"I didn't, really. But if you insist on thinking as much then I apologize." David said in defeat, knowing he wasn't going to get through to her on this subject.

Grace remained silent for a few moments after that, maybe he didn't exactly kiss her; he seemed honest about what he was doing, would he even really try to do something like that with her to start with? Especially in front of all theses other humans? 'No, no, that was definitely a kiss!' She told her self as she shook her head. "Yeah right you fuckin' weirdo, leave me alone!" She said, denying his claims.

David sighed and nodded to her answer. "Very well, letr17;s go back to the room guys." David said as he walked back into the ship, then being followed back inside by two unfamiliar Pokémon that she's never seen before, an Empoleon and a Skarmory. After David left Grace walked through the crowd of people that had gathered and went to the far end of the ship to sun dry herself off. She found a nice open spot on the deck and shook herself off before laying down, then curling up in a ball and absorbing the warmth of the sun, which was quite easy due to the black color of her fur.

She only had a few moments of peace however before she noticed the sun was being blocked by something. She opened her eyes and saw that now familiar figure, the Gengar that was the cause of her falling off of the ship, standing there next to her with a grin on its face, looking down at her with its large, red eyes.

"My apologies about that my dear, I didn't mean to spook you...much..." The Gengar apologized with a small, snide giggle in its voice. Grace froze where she was, absolutely terrified of the Gengar that was standing next to her. The Gengar snickered at the sight of the cowering Umbreon that was laying before it, never seeing a dark type such as this that was so afraid of ghosts ever before in its whole life.

"Oh what's wrong? Don't tell me such a pretty little girl is afraid of little old me...here...I wont bite...see?" The Gengar said as it reached down towards Grace with the same seemingly evil grin on its face. Grace let out a shriek of terror as she ran around the Gengar and off into the inside of the ship, running back to the room as fast as her four legs could carry her.

"AHAHAHA!!! Oh my, that was almost as priceless as when that dumbass jumped off the ship! AHA! What a fuckin' little retard!" The Gengar laughed, finding Grace's reactions to him to be all too hilarious.

Elsewhere David had finally got back to his room, having taken a wrong turn by mistake when he wasn't paying attention. "DAAAVIIID!!!" Grace screamed as she ran down towards him as he opened the door. Before he could react she ran past Ace and Napoleon, zipping through his legs like a black blur and back into their room, jumping up on the top bunk of the bed and rushing under the blankets to cower in fear.

Luke opened one of his ruby red eyes and glanced over to the top bunk of the bed from where he was meditating. He did a quick read of Grace's mind to find out what made her run in here; she was spooked by a Gengar. He grinned evilly to himself and got up from where he was meditating, pulling out the chair that was in the room put it up next to the bed.

He got up on the chair and quietly cleared his throat. "Oh but dear...those blankets wont save you from me...come on...let me...PET YOU!!!" Luke said impersonating the Gengar Grace had met earlier, as he tapped his paw on the blankets.

"DAAAAVIIIIID!!! HEEEEELLP!!! Grace screamed in terror as she rocketed out from under the blankets, flying towards David who had only just stepped into the room. She hit him square in the chest, knocking him over, almost making him fall backwards on Ace who quickly hopped backwards just avoiding them. Grace laid flat on top of David, shaking uncontrollably as she buried her face in his chest, seeking protection.

"P-please! D-don't let it get me! Please!" Grace pleaded, thinking the Gengar was after her. David looked at her like she had just gone crazy, then noticed Luke falling clear off the chair he was standing on, straight to the floor, getting the air knocked out of him, but he still managed to laugh at Grace's priceless reaction.

"Damn it Luke, what in the hell did you do?!" David snapped out, knowing Luke had something to do with this.

Luke continued to laugh for a few moments, raising his paw up, gesturing for David to give him a few moments. David sighed and just tried to comfort Grace as best as he could by stroking her back soothingly. "Don't worry Grace, its fine..." David comfortingly said, trying his best to ease the frightened Umbreon.

After several moments Grace finally calmed down, pulling her head up from David's chest. The first thing she saw however was the face of an unfamiliar Pokemon look at her with it's yellow eyes from just inches away from her own face. Grace let out another scream as she ran back to the bed, this time going over to the bottom bunk of the bed and diving under the blankets once again to hide herself.

Just as Grace screamed however Ace hopped backwards, startled by the scream. Napoleon however was right behind him when he hopped, causing Ace to hop back into him, angering him slightly because he disliked Ace ever since he joined the team. Napoleon brought one of his wings up and smacked Ace forcefully without warning, causing Ace to fly across the room into the wall with a shrill sound as the metal armoring of his body clashed against the metal wall.

The sound made Grace jump from where she was under the blankets with a yelp, being startled by the loud sound she heard. "STOP IT!!!" David yelled as he stomped his foot down, only getting Napoleon's attention as Ace slid down the wall onto the floor, knocked out from that hit, with the only sound in the room being Luke's laughing.

David slowly looked around the room for several moments before looked at the shaking lump under the blankets on the bottom bunk of the bed. "Grace, are you alright?" He asked as he walked over towards the Umbreon who's had the worst day she's had in a very long time today.

"I-is it g-gone?" Grace stuttered out nervously, still shaking underneath the blankets on the bed.

"Why are you so scared?" David asked as he sat next to Grace on the bed.

"Th-there was...a...a ghost..." Grace answered him.

David almost busted out laughing at that, an Umbreon...a dark type Pokemon no less...was afraid of ghosts? It was almost too hilarious to even stand but David forced whatever laughs arose back down his throat as he took a few moments to regain his composure.

"Well...ahem...I didn't see a ghost anywhere in here...but I saw a certain blue canine freak scare you off of the top bunk of the bed..." David whispered to Grace.

Grace blinked several times under the blankets and poked her head out, looking around. She didn't see that Gengar, but saw Luke laughing next to the bed with a chair knocked over next to him. What fear she had in her quickly turned into anger as she growled at Luke, getting a glance from him but he couldn't do anything due to the fact he was still immobilized by laughter.

"You...YOU!" Grace shouted out, over come with anger that Luke made her look stupid like that. "I'm gonna fucking KILL you for that!" She yelled out as tried to make a jump for Luke but ended up being caught by David before she could get to him.

"Wait! Wait, don't do that, he's a lot stronger than me and if you piss him off, he WILL hurt you." David warned as he held the struggling Umbreon in both of his arms.

"Hurt?! I'll fucking show you hurt!" Grace said as she opened her mouth and charged up a black ball of energy, then firing straight at Luke. Luke saw it coming but he couldn't react fast enough, only scooting back slightly to try and avoid it, but it made the Dark Pulse hit lower than intended on Luke, right between the legs.

There was a loud explosion followed by a loud yelp in as Luke went flying into the opposite wall, with both of his paws down in his crotch area, where the Dark Pulse hit him. David stood there with his mouth hanging open in awe of what Grace just managed, she actually got Luke, good, the best anyone's been able to get him in a long time at least.

"That will be you next if you don't let me go..." Grace warned David as he continued to hold her. He snapped his attention away from Luke and looked down at Grace, setting her down on the floor, not enjoying the idea of her following through on that threat.

Luke finally managed to pick himself up from the floor and wobbled up to his feet, panting slightly from the pain he had to endure from that attack hitting him in that spot. "You..." Luke said as he raised a paw up and pointed it towards Grace. "Your...narrow...fuzzy...black...ass...is...mine..." He warned between pants, then getting ready to pay Grace back for doing that to him.

"Bring it bitch!" Grace said as she spread her legs out, getting ready to fight with Luke, she didn't even care if she might not be take him, she just wanted to make him pay for that.

Without any further words, Luke drew his paw back and leap forward towards Grace, covering the distance between them before she hardly had any time to react and threw a punch at her, however his punch was blocked, not by Grace, but Napoleon's wing. Luke looked at Napoleon for a moment as his punch was stopped in its tracks, and then Napoleon put some of his strength behind his wing and forced Luke back, making him flip backwards and landing onto the floor, skidding to a halt.

"What the hell is your problem?!" Luke snapped at Napoleon only getting silence as a reply; as he held his firm stare at the angry Lucario. "Damn mute..." Luke growled, knowing if Napoleon and him got into a conflict with each other it would probably lead to them both sinking the ship.

"Thank you...now...time to kick some ass!" Grace said as she charged another Dark Pulse in her maw, however this time getting her mouth covered by Napoleon's other wing. She immediately stopped the attack and jumped back slightly, confused about why Napoleon just stopped her. "What the crap? The hell is your problem you over grown piece of poultry?!" She yelled out at the Empoleon standing in front of her.

Napoleon glanced over at David for a moment then shook left wing towards Grace, gesturing that he do something. His message registered with David and he drew out Grace's Pokeball. "Well Grace I'll let you out again when everyone is calm again, sorry." David apologized as he returned Grace to her Pokeball.

"Hey! Damn it wa--!!" Grace contested before she was drawn back into the Pokeball involuntarily. David returned the Pokeball to his pocket and let out a sigh as he sat down on the edge of the bunk bed.

"You know it would have been nice if I could have at least been able to punch her hard enough to rattle that head of hers straight..." Luke commented as he pulled the chair he knocked down earlier up and sat down on it, letting out a stressed sigh.

David glanced over towards Luke and laughed slightly. "Remember those lectures you gave me way back after I caught you?" David noted, just remembering them.

"What about them?" Luke said as he glanced over towards David.

"Violence breeds violence, hate breeds hate, sorrow breeds sorrow, they all cycle endlessly, feeding off of themselves, remaining as absolutes in this world." David quoted.

"And?" Luke asked.

"The only thing to keep those things from breeding is by not showing the same thing in return...violence cannot breed off of kindness, hate cannot breed off of happiness, and sorrow cannot breed off of joy." David answered.

"Oh? I actually managed to teach you something? That's new..." Luke commented with a smirk, shaking his head slightly.

"I'm actually quite glad you did...if you didn't I probably wouldn't have been able to put up with Grace this long." David thanked, lying back on the bed as he let out a sigh, waiting for the ferry to finally reach Dewford.

--------------

"Alright Grace, we're here." David said as he released Grace from her Pokeball. She looked around and saw a bunch of buildings in front of her, along with more people and Pokemon than she could even comprehend counting, walking around going about their daily lives.

She snapped her head around and looked up at David with an angered look on her face, with a few of her teeth bared. "Why in the hell did you put me in my damn Pokeball?!" She snapped out, reminding David that she disliked that.

"Hold it, hold it, I'm sorry about that, I just needed everyone to calm down..." David apologized as he raised both of his arms up.

"Calm huh? I'll show you calm!" Grace said as made a jump at David, missing him with a swipe of her paw, earning a slight laugh from him.

"Now Grace, please stop for a moment, we're in public, we can't have you attacking me, and you still want to find your trainer don't you?" David reminded her.

Grace paused from her attempts at attacking David and let out a defeated sigh. "Fine..." She muttered out as she lowered her ears to the sides of her head, with a frown on her face now.

"Good...now last one to the Gym is a rotten Exeggcute!" David teasingly said as he took off running off towards the crowd of people and Pokemon walking about the streets.

"Hey damn it wait!" Grace shouted as her ears perked back up, with her tail standing straight up, angered that David was running off again, this time straight into a place she was very uncomfortable about being in. 'Damn him!' She thought as she gritted her teeth down, then charging off after him, weaving around the crowd as best she could, trying to avoid any contact with any of the humans or Pokemon.

David looked back and noticed her chasing after him at great difficulty, mainly because she was afraid of even having anyone touch her. "Not going to catch me if you think everyone is going to bite you!" David teased as he ran through the crowd of people and Pokemon.

"Damn it wait!" Grace shouted back as she continued to slip behind him. Her protests to him about doing this however were completely ignored by him, making her get increasingly annoying with him, thus making her movements through the crowd more direct and less cautious. Eventually she managed to get worked up enough to just focus on chasing David, bumping through the legs of anyone between her and him, focused on getting to him now.

Of course at this point David had reached the gym, allowing her catch up with him, at which point she was pissed. "FOUND YOU ASSHOLE!" Grace shouted as she jumped out at him from the crowd. David side-stepped her jump, making her fly through the automatic doors to the Gym. She hit the ground and rolled to a shop, almost rolling into a wall of fire as she stepped in, making her yelp in surprise slightly and run back out behind David in fear of what just happened.

"That was a quick change of tone." David commented as he stood outside the doors of the gym, just as Grace opened her mouth to say something in response to that comment there was a thunderous explosion inside of the gym, which ma the ground tremble below them, causing Grace to hide her head under her paws in fear of the kind of fight that was taking place in there.

"So any bets as to who will win?" Luke asked, sitting atop the gym at the edge of the roof.

"Hmm...probably the giant flaming guy, he should be more than a match for Brawly." David answered as he crossed his arms, watching the battle unfold inside. "I'm still surprised he actually got ahead of me..." David mumbled to himself shortly after.

"And who took the long way around out of fear of avoiding the same damn black ball of fuzz that's hiding behind your damn legs?" Luke pointed out with a shrug.

"Ah, right." David breathed out in answer.

Grace perked her ears up in realization of the current conversation. "Hey...damn it I'm not a black fuzz ball!" Grace shouted, hating being referred to as that for some odd reason.

"Yeah you are have you checked the color of your fur lately?" Luke commented as he looked down at Grace.

"Hey, don't you two start again." David said with a sigh, finding the bickering between Grace and Luke being distasteful now.

"Shut up, your17;re the one who made me run through that damn crowd chasing your stupid ass down." Grace snapped at David, still annoyed by that.

"Oh don't forget, that pervert kissed you too." Luke teased, figuring he should get Grace started up on the whole misunderstanding.

"Damn it that's right!" Grace said, remembering that whole thing just now thanks to Luke.

"Damn you Luke!" David shouted, covering his face with the palm of his hand. "You out of anyone should know that wasn't a damn kiss you ass!" He continued, knowing that Luke was lying on purpose just for his own amusement.

Luke grinned to himself and shrugged. "Oh no, you're one of those perverted humans who do Pokemon, I've seen the way you look at me!" Luke lied, trying to get a good reaction from David.

"Damn it Luke! Ah forget it, your not even worth the wasted breath you ass..." David sighed, giving up on fighting with Luke on the subject.

"Wait, David likes...Pokemon? I knew it! Fucking pervert!" Grace shouted believing Luke's lies about David, and earning him several awkward stares from some people who are near by.

"Luke...did I EVER....mention how much I hate you?" David noted with another distressed sigh, shaking his head.

"Hates a sign of love you know David." Luke retorted with a sly grin.

David slapped his face and groaned at that comment, shaking his head again, having nothing to say in reply to that.

"He's gay too?" Grace asked, blinking a few times at that piece of information.

Luke busted out laughing at that question from Grace, nearly falling clear off of the roof of the gym from laughing so hard. "No...I am not gay..." David lowly answered with another sigh, finding that question to be completely uncalled for.

"No, no he isn't, he swings both ways!" Luke managed to gasp out between laughs, finding this to be too hilarious to hardly even stand now.

"You wish..." David murmured to himself, without any reply from Luke who couldn't even hear him over his own laughing. David noticed the ground was quite calm now and saw that it was fairly quiet inside the gym now, with no signs of any fighting transpiring inside.

"Well looks like Mr. Flamer is done, you coming you damn canine freak?" David asked as he looked back up towards Luke.

"Yeah..." Luke managed to answer between laughs. "And don't call me that...you know how I hate that..." Luke managed to complain as he calmed down from his laughing fit, jumping down from the roof of the gym to the ground.

David walked inside of the gym finding it to be extremely warm inside, as he walked further inside he saw Ray and his Typhlosion standing at one end of the field with the gym leader, Brawly, tending to his fainted Medicham on the opposite side of the field.

"Awesome job Roy." Ray complimented his Typhlosion, who looked like it had taken some hits, but looked very healthy still despite that. He walked up to the Typhlosion and patted it on the head, him with him still standing over a foot higher than even it did. Shortly after he returned it into its Pokeball and walked over to the gym leader, exchanging a few words and receiving his gym badge.

As Ray started to head towards the door to exit the gym he noticed David and Luke standing next to each other in front of the door. "Oh hey, if it isn't the shrimp and his puppy, how you two been? Little crazy Umbreon who can talk didn't eat you I see?" Ray commented with a laugh as he walked over towards them.

"Who the hell are you calling a little crazy Umbreon you overgrown walking bag of shit?" A feminine voice snapped, making Ray pause and look around, not seeing anything, and then noticing the face of an Umbreon peak around from behind David's legs.

"Did she...?" Ray muttered out with a stumped look on his face, wondering if that Umbreon actually just said what he think it said.

Grace growled at up at him in response to that. "What the fuck do you think? What? Just because I'm an Umbreon means I can't fucking talk?" Grace snapped, answering Ray's question.

"Holy crap...she CAN talk..." Ray commented, dumbfounded by a Pokemon talking like that.

"And?" Grace questioned, pointing her ears back, quickly getting annoyed with this large human that she's never seen before.

"Easy Grace." David said as he stepped between her and Ray.

"Grace? Oh such a sweet name...suits her personality I see too." Ray teased, not exactly knowing what he was getting himself into.

"That's it! He's fucking dead!" Grace snapped again as she ran out from behind David, going towards Ray to attack him but being stopped by David who quickly managed to grab a hold of her, holding her up by the scruff of her neck, mostly immobilizing her aside from some several jerky movements she could still manage to struggle against David's hold on her. "Let me go damn it!" She managed to yell out before David covered her mouth, making sure that she couldn't bite him this time.

"Sorry about her, anyways congrats on your gym badge Reytardo." David congratulated, making fun of his name.

Ray sighed and slapped his face, knowing that David and Luke would never leave him alone over his name now, which was Reynaldo. "Yeah, congrats on the win Reydildo." Luke added, getting a groan from Ray.

"So this is the lovely couple and their mutant cat here for any other reason aside from calling me names?" Ray commented, getting a small laugh from Luke and a growl from Grace.

"Which ones the cat? I can't tell." David asked, earning a glare from Luke, as well as another growl from Grace.

"Good point; anyways I'll be leaving, have fun children." Ray said as he walked passed David and Luke, with Grace waving her paws at him trying to grab hold of him with one of her claws.

"Not half as much fun as you have with your right hand on a nightly basis, later flamer!" David waved, making Ray pause at the door, mumbling to himself before he continued out of the gym. After he left David turned his attention over towards Brawly, who had returned his Medicham to its Pokeball to rest.

"Hey, you up for a second challenge by any chance?" David asked him as he walked over towards the gym leader.

"Yeah, sure thing, one on one fight, you win you get the gym badge, your best Pokemon against my best Pokemon, sound fair?" Brawly replied as he pulled out a Pokeball from a pocket his blue shorts, which he usually wore along with his favorite orange t-shirt. "Oh and why are you holding your Umbreon like that?" He asked as he pointed towards Grace, who gave a low annoyed growl in response.

"Ah...sorry, she's a bit...moody..." David answered, reluctantly setting her down. As soon as she did she snapped back around towards him and growled threateningly.

"Moody huh?! I'll show you moody!" Grace warned as she got ready to jump David again.

"Wait, wait, think about it Grace." David said as he backed away, waving his arms, trying to keep her from beating him up in public.

"Woah, awesome she can talk? Flannery told me about a shiny one that could talk too over in Lavaridge, belonged to the son of a guy who runs over of the spas there if I remember, weird seeing another one that can talk though." Brawly commented, surprised by Grace speaking.

"That's the second time someoner17;s mentioned that Umbreon..." David mentioned, remembering the mention of that same Umbreon last night.

"He's a bit of a local celebrity there." Brawly mentioned as he rubbed the back of his head. David laughed in agreement to that, figuring that if that Umbreon was anything like Grace then it would definitely be known by the local community, granted if it was as violent as her it would probably be locked up somewhere by now.

"Gee...going to have to pay them a visit..." David murmured to himself, before having his attention snap down to Grace due to another loud growl. "Yeah, yeah, you want to hurt me, you can do that after we get to the Pokemon Center." He said without really thinking.

Grace grinned to herself and nodded in response. "Looking forward to it..." She commented getting David's full attention with that and making him realizes what he just said.

"Ah shit..." David sighed to himself after realizing that he just told her that she could kick his ass once they got there. "Anyways! You ready Brawly?" David asked as he ran over to his end of the field and got ready for his gym battle.

"I guess, you using the Lucario or the Umbreon?" Brawly asked, slightly confused as to which one David had in mind using since he had both out.

"Ah, the Lucario." David answered as Luke calmly stepped in front of him, getting into a formal battle stance, ready for the fight.

"Ah cool, I've wanted to fight a Lucario, alright Hariyama, lets see how strong they are!" Brawly said as he tossed a Pokeball out, releasing a Hariyama out, a large fighting type Pokemon, standing almost twice as high as Luke and weighing five times heavier then him as well.

"Alright! This gym battle will be a one on one match, last Pokemon standing will be the winner, trainers ready?" The judge announced from the side of the field.

"Ready!" Both David and Luke responded at once, both nodding in response as well.

"You two better be ready...because nothing is going to stop this wave!" Brawly shouted with a confident grin on his face.

"Begin!" The judge announced, raising one of his hands up into the air.

Luke wasted no time at the signal, dashing off from where he was standing in a zigzag motion and towards the Hariyama, unfazed by its much larger stature over himself. "Alright Luke, lets see if he's as solid as he looks! Start this party off with Close Combat!" David ordered as Luke continued to close in towards the Hariyama, who in turn took stance and got ready for the incoming attack.

Once Luke got within several yards of the Hariyama he made a quick dash behind it, then he quickly jumped up off of the ground and threw a spinning kick at its head, however much to his surprise it quickly turned half way around and blocked Luke's kick with one of its big red hands, which cushioned Luke's kick to the point where it was harmless. Before Luke had time to react however the Hariyama took hold of his foot, swinging him around itself then slamming him into the ground.

Luke managed to recover enough after the blow to focus, making the Hariyama become enveloped in a glow, however despite getting a successful Psychic attack in on the Hariyama the best Luke could manage really was keeping it still; it was definitely strong if it could resist him on brute force alone. Luke did however, manage to take the opportunity to wiggle his leg loose from the Hariyama's grip, allowing him to step back a few paces before he lost control of the Psychic attack he was using to restrain the Hariyama with.

"Use Arm Thrust, followed by Force Palm!" Brawly ordered, no more than a moment later the Hariyama lunged forward towards Luke, covering the distance between it and him astoundingly fast, then thrusting its large glove like hands at Luke, which Luke managed to dodge by side stepping left and right between the flurry of arm thrusts made at him. The Hariyama made one final arm thrust at Luke with a quick spin as one of its large hands started to glow, then thrusting it out at Luke, which he managed to dodge with a jump straight up and over it.

As soon as Luke landed behind it he wasted no time in making a follow up counter attack, jumping up again and hitting the Hariyama in the side of its head with a kick, then landing on the ground and making various punches, jabs and kicks against it, quickly finding that they weren't having much affect on it due to his attacks quite literally bouncing off the thick layer of muscles, which to the untrained eye appears to be fat, that covers most of its body.

"Letr17;s show him what some real close combat is! Counter it with your own!" Brawly ordered, once again the Hariyama went back on the offensive with Luke only able to dodge a flurry of punches, sweeps and thrusts at him, nimbly jumping out of the way out of every attack thrown.

As the battle unfolded Grace watched from the side of the field, half in awe of the fighting that was taking place in front of her, she could tell how outclassed she really was now just from watching. The other half of her however was finding this quite hilarious, with this being a downhill battle for Luke mostly.

Finally Luke managed to break away from the Hariyama and get some distance between him and it, it was obvious he was going to have to change his plan of attack if he was going to win this, close range combat was out of the question, and so long range attacks would have to do now. Instinctively David had the same idea in his head, being able to tell that the attacks Luke made had no real affect on it.

"Alright Luke, change of plans, keep away from him and keep attacking at a distance, I'm sure you can show him what a real aura user is capable of, right?" David said trying to keep Luke motivated, although he didn't need it, Luke already had an ego larger than a Wailord. Luke nodded and brought both of his paws together, charging up an Aura Sphere in between his paws to test out how strong this Hariyama really was.

"Hang tight Hariyama, there's no telling how strong this next attack is going to be." Brawly warned as his Hariyama took stance and braced itself for the attack that was surely about to come. Luke continued to charge the aura sphere for several more moments, bringing both his paws to his side as the sphere gradually got bigger and bigger, reaching the size of a basket ball now as energy started to flow out from it.

"Now!" David shouted satisfied with the amount of power Luke put into that Aura Sphere. Right after David gave the order Luke thrust both of his paws forward from his side, launching the ball of aura straight for the Hariyama as it kicked up a cloud of dust behind from rocketing down the field.

KRRRAAAAHHH!!! The sound of the Aura Sphere's impact roared through the gym as it met its target, however the Hariyama managed to hold the Aura Sphere off with its large, glove like hands, at great difficulty however due to energy lashing out into its arms and the sheer force it had behind it, which was enough to even make it skid backwards.

Eventually the sphere of energy got unstable and exploded, with the brunt of the explosion being blocked by the Hariyama's hands, forcing backwards, kicking up a large plume of smoke and dust. There was a moment of silence before the ground shook, with the Hariyama charging out of the cloud of dust towards Luke with one of its hands raised up and balled up into a fist, glowing brightly as it charged to where Luke was.

However when it got a clear look at Luke its eyes went wide at what it saw; Luke standing in place with his paws together, and his eyes closed, concentrating as several soccer ball sized spheres of aura, about fifteen, floated around him. Luke opened his normally red eyes, which were bright blue now with the aura he was now focusing coursing through every inch of his body, even making his fur stand on end.

Luke brought one of his paws to his side and waited for the Hariyama to get a bit closer before he made his move, getting ready as the air around him crackled with the energy used to make the Aura Spheres floating around him. "Grrraaah!" Luke roared out as he swung his paw forward, launching the barrage of Aura Spheres at different locations of the Hariyama's body, making sure that it couldn't block them all.

The Hariyama hardly had time to react as it canceled its own attack out and opened the palms of its large hands out, trying to block as many as it could but failing to get at least eight of them, which hit various points of its body like its head, lower body and legs, exploding on contact.

Luke fell down to one knee after using that attack, feeling mentally drained from it, with that attack requiring a lot of concentration to control. Luke didn't have much time to rest however, with his ears perking up along with the four black ornamental pieces of fur protruding from the back of his head, sensing that the Hariyama was heading for him again.

Luke jumped back out of the way before the Hariyama burst out of the cloud of dust and slammed down with one of its hands where Luke was standing, missing him completely. Luke growled to himself, slightly frustrated that it didn't go down with that attack since it was one he rarely used but had special meaning to him.

The Hariyama quickly continued its charge off towards Luke and continued pushing him backwards with various thrusts with its arms, missing again and again but not in the least bit discouraged. Luke finally managed to flip backwards and jump back over it, charging another Aura Sphere in his paws then throwing it at the Hariyama, hitting it directly in the back, causing another large explosion.

Luke landed on his feet and went down to his knees again, still feeling the affects of the aura attack he used earlier burdening him, before he had time to react this time the Hariyama charged him again from the cloud of dust kicked up by the explosion, hitting Luke with a strong thrust of its arm, before a bright flash was emitted from the palm of its hand, sending Luke flying across the field, bouncing several times before skidding to a stop.

Luke slowly wobbled up to his feet before his body emitted a bunch of sparks, he was paralyzed now. He slowly turned his head up and saw the Hariyama running straight for him with one of its first balled up, then no more then a second later it threw a punch at Luke, sending him up and clear through the wall of the gym, outside into the city streets, narrowly avoiding hitting several people, who scattered to the sides of the streets after Luke landed.

Once again Luke managed to wobble up to his feet, having suffered two consecutively hard blows was only adding to the drained feeling he had. He took a few moments to recover before he saw the Hariyama jump through the hole in the wall of the gym caused by Luke along with David and Brawly running outside of the gym to continue the fight.

The Hariyama charged towards Luke once again with its fist balled up again, Luke managed to have enough time to try and get out of the way but another flurry of sparks erupted from his body, making him double over again. 'Damn it!' Luke thought as he could only watch as he was about to get hit once again.

The Hariyama threw another punch, sending Luke flying off down the street and clear off the road, straight to the beach where he finally came to a stop. Luke struggled up once again from the white sand of the beach, knowing he couldn't take much more abuse like this.

He huffed to himself several times and looked behind him, noticing the ocean. 'No...that wonr17;t do...' He thought to himself as he turned his head back toward, seeing the Hariyama running after him. 'I guess I'll have to risk it...' Luke thought as he brought both of his legs and paws together, concentrating deeply as the black ornaments on the back of his head raised up.

A soft blue glow emerged from his paws and legs, getting brighter and stronger with every passing moment. The Hariyama paused and got ready for whatever attack Luke was about to use, with the barrage of Aura Spheres earlier leaving their mark across its body. Luke opened his now blue, aura filled eyes again as his paws and feet were starting to crackle with energy, with the intensity of the aura gathered at those points of his body giving off a soft humming sound as they vibrated slightly.

Luke took a stance and got ready for his next attack, knowing that if he slips up from here on out it could cost him one if not all of his limbs. Then without warning Luke seemingly vanished from where he was standing, not even kicking up any sand or leaving any tracks. The Hariyama quickly looked around to see where the Lucario may have gone, but just as soon as it turned its head it suddenly got hit in the face by something it couldn't even see coming.

The Hariyama stumbled back several steps from the impact, stunned slightly from the impact, not really even knowing if that was the Lucario it was fighting or not that hit it. Before it had much time to think however it got hit in the back by something really hard, trip forward towards the ground. Then suddenly the Lucario it was fighting appeared in front of it, although it seemed to be just a blur as it quickly motioned around with a punch, hitting it straight in the gut sending it up in the air several feet, kicking up some dust from the ground from the force of the impact.

Then as soon as the Hariyama was airborne the assault of punches, kicks and swipes began, hitting it from different angles with hardly any delay between the hits, spinning the Hariyama through the air violently for several seconds before it knocked back towards the ground again by a particularly vicious blow from above, then getting hit again by another hard blow from the side before it could hit the ground, sending it tumbling off a short distance. The last blow came from the opposite direction it was tumbling in, kicking up a large cloud of dust from the shock of the hit, with it tumbling backwards violently out of the cloud and further down the beach.

At that point David and Brawly finally caught up with the fighting, just seeing the final hit landing and the Hariyama tumbling off down the beach from it. After several seconds the Hariyama finally came to a stop, not moving from the last hit. They waited for a few moments as the cloud of dust was swept away by the sea breeze, revealing Luke kneeling down on one knee, panting heavily but still awake.

"Wow!" Brawly exclaimed as he started to laugh, rather happy about this. "So that's how an aura using Pokemon fights? That was just amazing! Just when I thought I had this fight in the bag he pulls out a surprise like this! Itr17;s been forever since we've had a fight great enough to actually spill out of the gym!" Brawly continued, still laughing joyfully. He turned over towards David and shook his hand, then handing him the gym badge.

"Well we just saw, you beat me, itr17;s with great honor that I give you the knuckle badge, I wish you luck on getting to the elite four, I'm cheering for you!" Brawly said as he shook David's hand one last time before running off down the beach to tend to his fainted Hariyama.

"Thanks! Later!" David yelled as he waved to Brawly, then turning his attention towards Luke, who was still kneeling down resting. He slowly walked over to Luke and checked him over from a short distance away. "Have fun?" David cheerfully asked, not sounding the least bit concerned about Luke.

"Screw you." Luke replied as he continued to catch his breath.

"Nope, not going to bend over." David answered in response to Luke's commented, making him growl to himself. "So are you going to sit there all day or are you going to get up?" David asked.

"I'm paralyzed twit, do you expect me to walk around and randomly fall over like some sort of retarded idiot like yourself?" Luke snapped in return to David's question.

"You know? Now that I think about it...," David started to answer before pausing with a thinking look on his face. "Yes!" He answered, getting a defeated groan from Luke, who didn't feel up for putting up one of his arguments with David right now.

"Just get me to the damn Pokemon Center..." Luke growled, standing up from where he was kneeling.

"Alright fine princess, I'll put you back in your ball." David said as he returned Luke to his Pokeball, getting a threatening glare from him before he went inside of it.

David turned around and saw Grace sitting behind him, looking up at him. "That was impressive, now I take it we'll be heading back to the Pokemon Center?" Grace questioned.

David nodded in reply. "Yeah...follow me..." David muttered as he started off towards the Pokemon Center, with Grace shortly following him.

--------------

A little while later David and Grace arrived at the Pokemon Center after a tedious walk across the town, both stepping through the front doors and walking to the front desk. "Hey Nurse Joy...could you rest up one of my Pokemon for me?" David asked as he got to the front desk, setting Luke's Pokeball on top of it.

"Why of course! Was it the Lucario that was fighting the gym leader here?" The Nurse Joy asked as she took the Pokeball from David.

"Yes, why?" David asked, slightly surprised she guessed that.

"They showed the fight on the local news, it was really something." The Nurse Joy answered as she walked to the back of the Pokemon Center with Luke's Pokeball.

"Oh...cool..." David lowly murmured to himself, slightly surprised he actually made the local news. David and Grace both waited at the front desk for a few moments, before the Nurse Joy came back through the door.

"He'll be just fine, he just needs a good nights rest, is there anything else I can help you with?" The Nurse Joy asked with a small bow.

"Oh thank you, no I..." David started before pausing, just remembering something. "Oh, wait; as a matter of fact can you register a new Pokemon under my profile?" David said as he handed the Nurse Joy a Pokeball, this one belonging to Grace.

"Sure thing just let me get the information from the Pokeball." The Nurse Joy said as she took the Pokeball to a scanner that was hooked up to the Pokemon Centers computer. "Letr17;s see...Umbreon...female...seems to be a normal, healthy Umbreon...oh whatr17;s this? You caught it west of Route 104?" The Nurse Joy asked, slightly concerned about that.

"Oh um...yes..." David answered, trying to think of a way to explain himself out of this.

"There's been reports of an Umbreon that's been attacking travelers and trainers on route 104, do you know of this?" She asked him, pulling up some information on the reported attacks made by that Umbreon.

"Yes, I heard about that Umbreon, but on my way through Route 104 I was only attacked by a Linoone..." David said, only being half serious about that, remembering the one that knocked him off the cliff.

"And your17;re absolutely sure that is not the same Umbreon that has been attacking travelers along Route 104?" The Nurse Joy asked, getting a little bit more suspicious about the Umbreon David had next to him.

"Oh this girl? Nah! She's perfectly sweet! See?" David said as he knelt down next to Grace and started petting her back, getting her to glare over at him and growl.

"What in th--" Grace said before David put his hand over her mouth.

"Shh! Play along alri--EEE!" David whispered before being cut off by a bite from Grace, biting down on his hand roughly, but not obviously enough to be noticed by the Nurse Joy. "See...friendly..." David calmly said through his teeth with a forced smile, hiding the pain he was enduring right now thanks to Grace.

Grace cheerfully perked her ears up and nodded in agreement as she nodded her head, causing David's hand to move while she still had a firm hold of it with her teeth, causing him even more discomfort. "Okay...why are you holding your hand over her mouth?" The Nurse Joy asked, a little bit confused about that.

"Ah...well..." David said as he looked over towards Grace. "Let go..." He whispered to her, getting a small glare from her and her to tighten her already painful hold of his hand with her teeth before letting go, then putting on an innocent act.

"Pleasure to meet you." Grace greeted with a bow of her head, getting a slight gasp from the Nurse Joy.

"Oh? She can talk?" The Nurse Joy asked, looking over at David.

"Yeah...get that a lot..." David murmured as he dried off his now free hand, which was slightly damp from being bitten by Grace. The Nurse Joy glanced over at Grace one last time before returning to the computer and typing in several things, then pulling the Pokeball out of the scanner she had placed it in.

"Here you go, she has been placed in your Trainer Profile, be sure you take very good care of her." The Nurse Joy said as she returned the Pokeball to David. He took it from her and put it away, sighing in relief that he actually just managed to slip out of that whole predicament without incident.

"Oh one more thing..." David said, just remembering something now. "Can you look up some information about a trainer for me?" He asked, glancing over at Grace as he spoke.

"Sure thing, do you have any information about him or her?" The Nurse Joy asked as she went over to the computer again, pulling up the national trainer data base to try searching for the trainer David was speaking of.

David nodded and knelt down to eye level with Grace, letting out another soft sigh at the question he was about to ask. "Grace, could you tell me the name of your old trainer?" David asked her, catching Grace completely off guard with that question, making her blink at him several times at him in surprise.

"W-why?" Grace stuttered out, slightly shocked that he was actually going to keep his word.

"I promised you I'd find him, now can you please tell me his name?" David again asked, keeping a firm tone as he asked her.

Grace looked down at the floor with her ears drooped to the sides of her head, feeling both really happy about this on the inside yet really sad at the memories of her old trainer being stirred up again. She thought for a few moments and sighed deeply. "Damon..." She lowly answered with a sad tone in her voice.

David nodded and stood up, stepping over to the desk. "First name is Damon, he should have been around Rustboro city about a year or so ago, and he had an Eevee with him at the time." David asked.

"Very well, let me search the data base..." The Nurse Joy said as she typed in the information into the computer, checking for any Trainers by the first name of Damon who has owned an Eevee visiting or living in the region in the past year. She got a few hits, although one stood out from the rest. "Is he missing?" The Nurse Joy asked, glancing over at David.

"As far as I know...yes, he abandoned his Eevee too if that helps." David added, making Grace flinch slightly to herself, with her memories being stirred with those words.

"I see... that makes it only one then..." The Nurse Joy said as she looked into that Trainers profile. "It says he was last seen in Rustboro City, it doesn't say what happened to him however." She answered, getting a sigh from David and a small sigh of relief from Grace, now knowing that her trainer didn't just simply run off and abandon her, but if her17;s missing, then what happened to him?

"Very well...thank you." David thanked with a small bow. "Could I also have a room for the night please?" He questioned shortly after.

"Yes, here you go, enjoy your stay." The Nurse Joy said as she took a key from the wall and handed it to David.

"Thanks." David said as he took the key from her and headed for the stairs leading up to the private rooms. As he started up the stairs however he noticed Grace wasn't following. "Grace?" David asked her, noticing her sitting in the same spot she was standing in when they first entered the Pokemon Center, with her head and ears drooped down.

Grace perked her ears up slightly and raised her head, turning slowly towards David. "You okay?" David asked concernedly, a bit worried about the way Grace was looking right now, which just screamed sad.

"Y-yeah..." Grace answered lowly, just barely enough to be heard as she picked herself up and slowly walked towards him. David shook his head slightly, not being fooled; she completely changed again, from being her usual self in the daytime to this, sad and alone.

David continued up the stairs, shortly followed by the Umbreon as she stepped up the stairs slowly behind him. 'Poor girl...' David thought to himself, feeling sorry for her now. When she finally reached the top of the stairs he walked down the hallway to their room and opened the door, holding it open for her as she slowly stepped down the hallway following him.

She stepped into the room without any word of thanks, going straight for the bed and jumping up on it, lying down and curling up into a ball, sighing deeply to herself. "Are you really alright?" David asked as he shut the door behind himself and stepped inside several steps before pausing.

"Yes...I'm really alright..." Grace answered once again, trying to bury her feelings right now.

"You sure?" David questioned, trying to push into the subject a bit further.

"Yes...I'm sure..." She again answered, exhaling another sigh.

David walked up to her and sat down next to her on the bed, petting her comfortingly trying to soothe her. "Its alright, you can tell me if you're sad." David comfortingly offered, hoping he can get to Grace's soft side.

"...Stop touching me damn it..." Grace threatened with a growl, annoyed by the physical contact that David was trying to establish.

"Okay, okay." David said as he raised his hand up from her.

"And I'm fine..." Grace shortly followed after David lifted his hand from her, with her ears pointed back as she kept a close watch of him with her ruby red eyes.

'Damn it...I had to ruin it...' David thought to himself with a defeated sigh. "Alright then..." He murmured as he got up from the bed. "I'll leave you to yourself for awhile then." He followed as he stepped to the door. He looked back at Grace one last time and stepped out of the room, softly shutting the door behind himself as he let out another sigh.

'Well what now...' He thought to himself as he looked down the hallway. After a few moments of thinking he figured he should try and see if he could find out what exactly happened with Grace's old trainer now that she didn't have to be there for it. He walked back down the hallway and down the stairs, returning to the front desk and leaning forward on it, waiting for the Nurse Joy to return to the front desk, which was currently left unintended.

After a few moments she stepped out from out back and noticed David waiting for her. "Oh hello, is there anything else I can help you with?" She politely asked him.

David looked over at her and nodded in response. "Yes, about that trainer, Damon, you said there was nothing detailing what happened to him...well if he was last seen in Rustboro City then shouldn't someone have launched an investigation into what exactly happened?" David asked, wondering if Nurse Joy could provide him with an answer about where he could find someone who did know.

"Why yes, but you should speak to Officer Jenny about that, I do however know that the Jenny in Lavaridge has a particular interest in those sorts of cases, sher17;s a bit of a...unique type, but she'd be the one you should see about it." The Nurse Joy explained.

'Wow a lot of people in Lavaridge...' David thought to himself, knowing it wasn't a very big town but popular among travelers for the hot springs there, which drew people far and wide to it, as it stood he knew Fay who used to live there and knew of her old friend, Zeke who lives there. On top of that he keeps hearing about some sort of talking Umbreon that belongs to a spa ownerr17;s kid there and now an Officer Jenny there that can give him an answer about what happened with Grace's old trainer.

"Alright, thank you." David said as he stepped back from the front desk. The Nurse Joy nodded to him and returned to doing some various things on the computer. 'Well at least I know who to go to now...' David thought now as he walked towards the front door of the Pokemon Center, figuring he'll take this opportunity to explore around town now.

As soon as he stepped out automatic front door of the Pokemon Center however he was stopped by a familiar voice. "Hey shrimp!" He heard someone shout from the left side of him, knowing instantly who it was.

"Oh lovely...I get to see you twice in one day..." David commented, looking over to his side and seeing Ray walking towards him.

"Trust me, I'm just as thrilled as you are, I see your17;re without the puppy and the kitten, whatr17;s up?" Ray asked, pausing next to David, looking down at him with his arms crossed.

"I was about to go looking around town for awhile..." David answered, not really knowing if there was anything in town to go look at really however.

"How are Luke and the rabid fur ball doing?" Ray asked David, a little bit curious about seeing David without one of them, mainly Luke.

"Ah...well the princess is up in the room...venting...and Luke is recovering from the gym battle." David answered, rubbing the back of his head with a small laugh.

"Venting? Is she still mad?" Ray asked, finding this Umbreon to be quite interesting now.

"Well uh...yeah...sher17;s rather...hostile during the daytime..." David answered, knowing all too well Grace's mood swings depending on the time of day.

"Oh really now?" Ray asked with a grin on his face. "Well I happen to have "just the thing" to help with that!" He said with a tune in his voice and a now wide smile. He reached in his bag and dug around for something while David curiously looked on, wonder what he meant.

"What do you mean just the thing?" David questioned, blinking several times at what he could have meant by that.

Ray held a finger up in the air and waved it around. "Oh you'll see..." He said as he reached around in his bag and continued to dig around for what he was looking for. "Ahhh! Here we go!" Ray said as he pulled a small clear plastic bag from his backpack. The bag itself seemed to be filled with some sort of green looking crushed herbs inside.

"Right here is a special blend of herbs and spices, usually used to calm people down when used in teas and such, it has similar affects on Pokemon, and it is quite popular with the evolutions of the Eevee family, such as Umbreon." Ray explained, keeping the grin on his face as he explained the herbs in the bag to David.

"Wow...really?" David muttered out, surprised that there was such a thing.

"Oh yes, it works absolute wonders I tell you...you'll be very surprised at what it can do." Ray answered with a small laugh.

"Wait...and your17;re just going to give this to me? After the way we've treated each other all this time? Whatr17;s the catch?" David asked, hardly believing this random act of kindness from him.

"Well we've been at it for how long now? Itr17;s about time one of us grew up and put the whole rivalry thing behind us, so whadya say?" Ray offered, holding out the bag for David to take.

"Wow I...really don't know what to say...thanks man..." David said as he took the bag from him, looking at it. "So...how much do I give her?" He asked, looking up at Ray.

"Oh be generous with it, heck even give her the whole bag if you want! More the merrier!" Ray answered with a laugh.

"Oh uh...okay...thanks again..." David said as he walked into the Pokemon Center, looking at the bag as he returned to his room. 'Will this really work?' He questioned himself as he slowly walked up the stairs of the Pokemon Center. Once he got to the door of their room he figured why not, if it would make Grace calmer then it was worth trying.

David knocked on the door and stepped into the room. Grace raised her head up from the spot she was laying on the bed and shot David an icy glare. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry I was rude earlier and made you a bit spiffed at me, but I've got something that will make up for it." David announced as he held the bag of herbs behind himself.

"Better be good..." Grace muttered as she stood up from the bed and softly jumped down, walking over towards David before seating herself on the floor, looking up at him expectantly. David took a few more steps to her then pulled out the bag of herbs from behind himself, showing it to Grace.

"I got these for you; I heard this stuff helps to relax people and Pokemon...so uh...I figured you'd like it." David said as he opened the bag and held it out for Grace to examine. Grace brought her nose to the open bag and sniffed, before her sides widened slightly and she took a much deeper sniff of the pungent aroma that was rising from the bag.

"This smells...good..." Grace muttered as she continued to sniff the bag, after a few more sniffs her breathing started to become heavy and she batted the bag out of David's hand and onto the floor with one of her paws, spilling part of the contents on it onto the floor.

"Hey!" David said as he stood up straight, offended by her smacking the bag out of his hands and causing a small mess on the floor that he would have to clean up. Grace immediately shredded the back open with her sharp claws and buried her nose in herbs, taking long, deep breaths as she began to purr loudly.

"Uh...Grace?" David asked, getting no response from Grace, being absolutely ignored by her. Finally she raised her head up from the herbs and looked around at nothing in particular, just looking around the room, before bringing her head back down to the herbs, rubbing her face and cheeks into it, even licking the herbs several times, coating her tongue with them.

Grace rolled over on her side in the herbs, falling flatly on the floor, and then began rolling herself through the herbs slowly, spreading it across the floor more as well as getting it in her black fur. "Th...th...this...s-st-st-stuffff...i-...is...g-g-gr-gre-great..." Grace barely managed to stutter out, with an odd tone in her voice as well.

David blinked several times, unsure how to really react to this, he didn't expect her to react to those herbs like this, did Ray lie to him about their affects? Before David had time to think he noticed Grace picking herself up from the floor again, shakily standing back up upon her four feet, then shaking herself off from the herbs. "Are you...alright?" David asked, concerned for her now.

Grace slowly turned her head straight at him with her glassy, black unfocused eyes, staring at him unblinkingly for several moments, with an increasingly awkward silence filling the room with the exception of her purring. "Um...Grace?" David asked again, getting a slight twitch from Grace in response.

Then without warning Grace bolted from where she was standing and tackled David straight over onto the floor, catching him off guard. "Grace?!" David shouted, absolutely unsure at what this unprovoked attack was about. Just when David tried to pull Grace off of himself he felt his arms being shoved back down to his sides by her powerful front paws, along with her razor sharp claws slightly digging into his skin slightly to help keep him from trying to struggle against her.

David froze after her realized he wasn't being attacked, he was being held down. "Grace...what are you...doing?" David asked as he looked up at Grace, who in turn gazed down at him with a vacant look in her eyes. "Gr-Grace? Please let me u--" David asked before something completely unexpected happened, Grace locked her muzzle to his mouth.

David blinked several times as his brain registered what was happening now, Grace was holding him down against his will...and now she was kissing him? 'SHIT! What in the world did Ray give me?! At this rate...shit! I don't even want to think how far Grace is going to go at this point! I can't let her continue this!' David thought as alarms sounded throughout his mind, knowing this wasn't right, not right at all.

He started to struggle against Grace, trying to force his arms up to at least roll her off of him or something of the sort, however his resistance was met with more force on Grace's part, forcing her claws into his arms more, piercing his skin as she forced his arms flat to the floor. David quickly gave up his efforts when the claws sank into his skin, biting down, trying to endure the pain as blood lightly seeped up from the puncture wounds.

'Grace...please if your in there...I don't care how bad you maul me, just PLEASE snap out of this!' David begged in thought, not wanting to be used as Grace's toy like this, but despite how distasteful it was right now, he was helpless to her.

Meanwhile Grace had no real control of her actions right now, her mind in a haze as arousal from the herbs flowed through every vein of her body, only wishing to mate right now with the closest male she could find, David. For a few moments everything was calm, Grace only kissing David roughly, holding her dominant pose over his body as she held him down.

Then she started to get more confident with herself, lowering her body down on top of his, once she was fully rested on top of him she lined herself up with him slightly, and then started grinding her hips against his, notably the area between her hind legs. David's eyes went wide as soon as Grace started this; there was no doubt what she wanted now, sex. His mind went into a panic as the only thing keeping the Umbreon having her way with him was his pants, which she could easily dispose of at her on free will.

David desperately struggled again against her, shaking himself, trying to force himself up against her, kicking his legs and giving muffled screams for help, in an effort to free himself or praying someone would hear him. Grace quickly got annoyed the resistance her uncompliant mate was putting up, slamming his arms back down with brutal force behind her paws, and digging her claws into his arms deeply, getting a scream of pain from David, which was only turned into a deep, lustful kiss by Grace as she open mouth kissed him, his screams falling silent in the rapture of her kiss.

It was almost official now, he had lost, the Umbreon he had only met several days ago was about to have its way with him, and why? Because that asshole Ray set him up for this. David quit resisting Grace and just limply laid there in admittance of his defeat, with blood steadily flowing from the deep claw wounds in his arms, pooling into the floor and soaking Grace's front paws.

Then, just as he had almost given up hope, he heard the door click. He shifted his head slightly to see who it was who came to help him, knowing he was going to owe whoever it was a lot after this. "Heya buddy! Howr17;s that date?" Ray laughed as he walked into the room, closing the door behind himself. All of David's hopes got crushed with that, Ray was going to WATCH Grace have her way with him now, this was all a complete set up.

"Told ya' it works absolute wonders, and now look...you should be thanking me! If it wasn't for me you'd be humping your pillow as usual tonight, but thanks to me, you have a willing fuzzy little friend to do it with!" Ray continued, still laughing at how utterly hilarious this was.

David growled in frustration of Ray's taunting, finding no amusement in this whatsoever, only earning another laugh from Ray. "Come now! How many human girls would be willing to do this with you? None? Thought so! Say! I bet your still a virgin aren't you...HA! You're gonna loose it to...a Pokemon...an Umbreon in fact! Oh dude that must suck!" Ray mocked, relishing the moment now, he's getting David back ten times fold for all of the teasing he's done.

"And the best part is..." Ray said, reaching into his bag and grabbing something. "A picture is worth a thousand words...but with a fresh new roll of film...I wonder how many words I can get from you?" He added, showing David a camera. David's eyes went wide with the sight of the camera; if he took pictures of this...he could absolutely ruin his life.

"Now...enjoy the moment...despite the fact she...isn't something you normally would go with...I'm sure you can manage to find...some pleasure in it..." Ray assured David, grinning as he took a picture Grace pinning David down, lustfully kissing him still, her tongue eagerly exploring his mouth without any real resistance from him still.

'Damn it...' David thought to himself, feeling his world falling apart around him now. What did he honestly ever do to deserve this? Sure he's teased Ray, a lot, but this was overkill in terms of revenge, he could ruin his whole life now, was he really that pissed with him? His train of thought was abruptly interrupted when Grace got particularly forceful with her grinding against him, her body needing to have something satisfy it right now as she softly moaned into his mouth from just the rubbing.

"Mmm...hot." Ray joked as he walked around them, getting a good angle to take another picture at. Then both of their attentions were caught when they heard the door slam open again.

"David?! Are you ok--...ay?" Luke said, managing to break out of his Pokeball when he sensed David was in danger, however obviously, David wasn't in any real "danger" are all. "Oh I so fucking called it." Luke sighed out, shaking his head, remembering the teasing he put David through about Grace.

'Bullshit you asshole! Get her the fuck off of me!' David yelled in thought, knowing Luke can hear him.

'And ruin your moment?' Luke teased, snickering to himself over the hilarious sight in front of him.

'If that were the case why would I fucking be asking you to pull her off me?! That fucking bastard Ray did this! Look at the floor damn it!' David pointed out.

Luke looked down to the floor and noticed it was littered with herbs, Luke noticed an odd smell inside of the room when he stepped in but now knew what it was. 'Oh shit...catnip?' Luke thought, surprised that David actually fell for this.

'Catnip?' David questioned, unsure about what it was, never hearing about it himself.

Luke slapped his face with one of his paws and shook his head slowly, finding David's ignorance to be...astounding. "Fucking idiot..." Luke muttered to himself, before sliding his paw down slowly and looking at Ray. "You seriously used catnip?" He questioned again, still in a slight disbelief of this situation.

"Ah so you know what it is? Ha, figures, yeah I gave David some catnip, it was for a good cause though, it was to calm Grace down, and look at her! She's rather calm right now!" Ray pointed out as he waved a hand towards David and Grace. "Besides, you know sex is really quite relaxing." Ray added with a laugh.

'What the fuck is catnip?!' David questioned, never being answered on what it exactly was.

"Care to tell him what it was you did give him?" Luke asked as he raised a paw over towards Ray, knowing an explanation from him would be much more appropriate.

"Ah very well...you see David, catnip is a certain...herb...that has affects on certain Pokemon, the Eon family as about the most famous for this, you see...it has...certain affects on them...as I'm sure you can tell, which is why...it's very popular with Pokemon Breeders to use with them. So in simple terms, I just gave you something you normally give her so she would screw another Pokemon, but with the obvious lack of Pokemon and the large amount of it catnip, she found herself the next best thing, you!" Ray explained with a grin on his face.

'Fucking...BASTARD!!!' David roared out in thought, his anger stirred up once again, earning a small laugh from Luke at how helpless David was to do anything despite his anger at the moment.

"Well I have to hand it to you Ray, you got him good." Luke complimented, finding this whole situation to be too perfect, something he only wished he could have thought up.

"Why thank you, I have to admit, I impressed myself with this one." Ray boasted, agreeing with Luke.

'Fucking assholes...' David muttered in thought, now feeling less like he was actually going to be saved now as Grace continued to kiss and grind him.

Luke walked over to Ray and offered his paw up to him to shake. "Well you've earned my respect, great job." Luke congratulated.

"Oh thanks, glad I--" Ray said as he shook Luke's paw, then suddenly noticing a bright glow between his hand and Luke's paw. Before he could pull his hand back he felt his body go limp as sparks shot from his body, dropping to the floor like a sack of bricks.

"But sadly...nobody fucking outdoes me..." Luke muttered as he dusted off his paws. He then casually walked over to David and Grace, looking them both over for a moment, taking the last of the hilarious view of the Umbreon raping its trainer, before picking her up off of him by the scruff of her neck, effectively paralyzing her.

Once Luke lifted her off of him he noticed something rather amusing. "Oh did I ruin something?" Luke noted as he pointed between David's legs, with a painfully obvious tent in his pants now.

"Oh yeah, figures you would be the one to notice that!" David snapped back, sitting up from where he was, looking at the still bleeding wounds on his arms. "Fuck these hurt..." He muttered to himself in complaint, being in the middle of a lot of pain now.

"Well excuse me for noticing you were actually enjoying being raped by a horned up psycho bitch Umbreon, freak." Luke commented with a shrug of his free arm.

"Freak? Letr17;s see how fucking well you would fair if she did that to you!" David snapped back in response, quickly getting annoyed by Luke's teasing, and without his Pokeball he had no way to shut him up right now.

"She wouldn't be able to do that to me though." Luke answered, giving another shrug.

"I don't hear you denying it!" David exclaimed.

"Because, there isn't anything wrong with it, "I" do it, you on the other hand, not so much." Luke answered again.

"Ahhh right...anything for a free lay..." David sarcastically replied. "...Canine freak..." David muttered to himself as he sighed and shook his head.

"Oh don't worry yourself, I wouldn't dare touch "your" girl, besides my tastes aren't low enough to ever try to do that with anything that could even comprehend doing that with a retard like yourself." Luke replied.

"Yes I'm sure you wouldn't...slut..." David replied.

"Excuse me?" Luke asked, blinking a few times at being called a slut.

"For Lopunny's." David added, cracking a small grin.

"Oh fuck off; you know how I am with them..." Luke muttered as he turned his head away.

David laughed slightly at that response before he caught his breath to reply. "Oh right, you faint right when they touch you, fucking wuss!" He teased, hitting one of Luke's soft spots.

Luke growled to himself in frustration. "If you don't fucking shut it I swear I'll drop her back on you..." He warned as he held Grace over David again.

"Not cool!" David shouted as he back away from Luke, not at all enjoying the idea of having Grace back on top of him.

"Good, now zip it and go get cleaned up, I'll keep princess here under control unless you keep pissing me off..." Luke warned, walking off to the other side of the room and sighing. David nodded and began cleaning himself and the room up, knowing he couldn't have anyone asking any questions about what happened.

--------------

"Wha...what...ha..happened..." Grace muttered as she shook her head, coming back to her senses after awhile. David was still in the bathroom cleaning the blood off of himself when Grace finally came too.

"Ah I see your minds returned from its vacation between those little thighs of yours." Luke said as he dropped Grace without any real concern, causing her to land on the floor limply without any real reaction from her to catch her fall.

"Ow..." Grace blurted out as she hit the floor, hardly able to see anything as her vision was still blurred, her eyes slowly refocusing from the state the catnip had put her in. "What...the...last thing...I remember...was...shit...SHIT!" Grace muttered as the memories of what just occurred started to pour into her mind, remembering the herbs and their affects on her.

One of her ears perked up as she heard something in the bathroom. She growled, knowing it had to be David. "I FUCKING TRUSTED YOU!!! AND YOU WENT AROUND AND FUCKING DID THAT TO ME?!!!" Grace roared out in absolute blind rage, absolutely hating the idea of actually being used in such at way. Without any further word she charged off towards the bathroom, but before she could get to the door she was pinned down by Luke, who then restrained her.

"Get off of me!! Do you have any idea what he did?! He fucking took advantage of me!!!" Grace yelled as her voice started to crack, tears forming at the edges of her eyes, with the inside of herself feeling like it was ripped out.

"Grace, I know what it seems like, but just calm down and listen. David didn't do th--" Luke tried to explain.

"You have the nerve to tell me he didn't?!" Grace snapped back, her voice breaking more as the tears at the edges of her ruby red eyes started to stream down in tears. "He gave me those herbs...he tricked me...he took advantage of me! How...how can't you say it he didn't do that?!" She argued the emotions in her now starting to flow out from her, as she felt the only person she had left in the world she could trust had betrayed her.

The door clicked to the bathroom, catching Grace's attention as she looked up at the door as it swung open. David walked out of the bathroom without a shirt on, only wearing his pants as his old shirt slung over his shoulder, his arms wrapped up in bandages with red spots dotting them where the claw wounds were.

"Grace..." David muttered as he looked down at that sad, heart breaking face, she had honestly thought he had betrayed her for his own desires.

With his words Grace finally wasn't able to hold herself back anymore; she finally let her emotions out. "Why?! Why did you do that?! I...I trusted you! But you...you...monster!" Grace shouted, with sadness breaking her voice as she fully cried, tears streaming down the sides of her black furred cheeks.

"Grace...listen, I know you have absolutely no reason to believe me at this point...but I didn't do that, I was tricked by the guy over there." David explained as he pointed to the still-limp body of Ray, who was paralyzed still by the Force Palm Luke had used to paralyze him with earlier.

Grace's head slowly turned over to where David had pointed, seeing Ray laying flat on the floor. "Grace...David didn't trick you, if anything, he was the one who was tricked, those herbs David gave you...they were from him, he told David they would help you relax, David, being ignorant of what those herbs were, took them and gave them to you." Luke explained further, trying to help Grace believe David's side of the story.

Grace blinked several times and sniffled, her mind slowly taking in the information being presented to her. "So...are you...saying...he...did this?" Grace asked as she slowly regained her composure.

"Yes...that asshole was the one who caused all of this sadly..." David confirmed, walking around Luke and Grace.

Grace's eyes slowly began to narrow when she turned her head back towards Ray's limp body, feeling the anger inside of her quickly beginning to well up within her, because of him, she almost ruined her friendship with the best friend sher17;s had since her previous trainer.

"That...that BASTARD!" Grace shouted as she rushed off towards Ray's limp body, her mind set on exacting her revenge on him, wishing to make him suffer the pain that he almost caused her.

"Ah fuck..." Ray muttered as he heard Grace charging at him, remaining silent until now. Just when Grace got within several feet of Ray she was stopped by David, who wrapped his arms around her chest and waist, scooping her up so she couldn't run.

Grace immediately tried to struggle free at some difficulty due to the way she was being held by David. "WHAT THE HELL?! Put me down! That fucker deserves to die for what he did!!" Grace shouted in protest of being stopped like this, wanting to make Ray suffer for doing this.

"I understand you want to get him back for that, but killing him isn't the answer, and I'm afraid in your current state that's just what you might do...which both of us can't have happening, please drop this now." David explained knowing simply asking Grace to drop this wasn't going to work.

"Like hell!" Grace shouted in response as she continued to try and struggle out of David's arms. "One way or the other, he's going to pay for this! I don't fucking care what happens!" Grace added, then getting an idea, opening her mouth wide and charging up a Dark Pulse in her maw. David noticed the black sparks of electricity emitting from her mouth and reacted, covering her mouth with his hand, however as he soon found out, that wasn't such a good idea.

"OW!!!" David yelped out as he pulled his hand away from Grace's mouth, dropping her as he grabbed his wrist and looked at his hand, which was now bleeding from the puncture wounds from Grace's teeth as she bit him. No less than a second later he realized what he just did, let go of Grace.

"Shit...LUKE! Grab her!" David shouted over to Luke in desperation as he saw Grace run over towards Ray's still paralyzed body. Luke made no effort to stop Grace however; in fact he was leaning up against the wall at the far side of the room, yawning widely to himself, completely unconcerned over the current situation.

When David turned his head back around towards Grace it was basically too late, she jumped up in the air and rocketed down at Ray's limp body, then with a loud thump and a yelp of pain from Ray she hit him square in the back, rolling off the other side of him before scrambling back up to her feet, returning to his back.

"Think you can fuck with me huh?!" Grace said as she made a swipe at his back with her paw, her sharp claws fully extended, ripping through his clothes like silk.

"FUCK!!! GET THIS CRAZY BITCH OFF OF ME!!!" Ray shouted as he felt Grace's claws pass through his skin without any resistance.

"Grace stop it!" David shouted as he ran over to get Grace again, once he had made it over there however Grace had managed to do quite a number on Ray's back, giving him several more swipes in addition to the first one she gave him. David managed to pull Grace off of Ray, and then made a run for the bathroom with her.

"Luke you BETTER clean all of this up!" David shouted as he closed the bathroom door behind himself, locking in and dropping Grace, keeping her locked inside with himself.

"Like hell I'm dragging his fat ass back to his room, put the horny bitch in her Pokeball already, fucking idiot." Luke remarked with a sigh, shaking his head.

"WHAT?!" Grace snapped out in response to being called a "horny bitch" by Luke.

David all the while stood there with a blank expression. "Oh that's right..." He muttered, just realizing that he could use Grace's Pokeball to restrain her now that he could reach it. He pulled Grace's Pokeball from his belt and activated it, then attempted to return Grace into it, which failed due to a well timed jump back out of the way from her.

"No damn it! Let me out!" Grace snapped, unable to see the reason why David was so insistent about stopping her. "How can you just let him get away with that? Because of him...he...he almost fucking ruined everything between us! That bastard...DESERVES to die!" She added, unintentionally confessing to why she was so mad over this, because she cared about her friendship with David.

David smiled as soon as he heard those words and took a soft breath. "Well thank you Grace, It means a lot to me that our friendship is of that value to you...but unfortunately, I have a promise to keep to you, we can't find your old trainer if you're in trouble, now forgive me but this is for your own good." David said as he stepped towards Grace.

Grace blushed slightly under her fur, realizing what she said now; in addition of the words David had said, before she knew it he was standing right in front of her. "Please...he...can't get away with that!" She argued again as she lowered her head, shaking it, fighting back some tears that now demanded to be released, feeling her anger dying down now.

David knelt down to eye level with her and placed a hand on the top of her head. "Grace, thank you." He said as he slowly ran his hand down from her head to her neck, then wrapping both of his arms around her, pulling her in closer to himself, hugging her.

Grace's eyes shot wide when she felt herself being hugged by David, this was the second time he's done this, the first time being before she decided to join him. She tried to push David away from her but her paws failed her, she couldn't move now, her body rejected her protests from her anger over the current situation, as much as she didn't want to admit it, she wanted to be held, held like she was by her old trainer when she was young, held David was holding her right now.

She broke down and finally gave in completely to David, hiding her head against David's shoulder, letting her emotions out, accepting David's embrace now, only wanting to be comfort now, wanting David to tell her everything was going to be okay, just as she knew her old trainer would have done. She let everything go, she began to cry, cry fully once again, her tears freely running from her eyes, down the fur on her cheeks and onto David's skin.

David smiled slightly as he pulled Grace into his embrace a little bit more, patting her back, happy to have her let everything out again, with him there to comfort her through it. 'Luke...please can you just do this for me? I need to be alone with Grace for now...sorry Luke, but she needs me right now.' David said in thought, knowing Luke would pick it up.

Luke's ears twitched and he let out a sigh. 'Oh fine damn it, I'll give you and Grace your "alone" time, you fucking owe me big for this...' Luke replied as he grabbed Ray up by the back of his shirt.

'Thanks Luke, I owe you.' David replied as he continued to hold Grace, who was still crying in his embrace.

'Damn right you do...' Luke commented as he started to drag Ray out of the room. "Alright Princess, off to your room with you." Luke said as he headed towards the door.

"Screw you! I can have David's trainerr17;s license suspended and get that crazy bitch locked up for this! You hear me David?! Your17;re going to p--" Ray shouted out before David kicked him in the head.

"Shut it, once we get to your room I'll make sure you're healed properly, if anything this will be some hallucination you dreamed up for all they can care." Luke explained as he started dragging Ray out of the door.

"Assholes! You'll all pa--OW!" Ray shouted as Luke dragged him down the hall, giving him another swift blow to the head to shut him up.

--------------

Around an hour later Luke got back from Ray's room, dusting his paws off closing the door behind him, finding the room to be empty still. He closest his eyes for a moment and saw David's and Grace's aura in the bathroom, quickly concluding they both haven't moved over the period of time that he's been gone.

'Having fun?' Luke teased as he walked over to the bed, tossing his Pokeball in his paw, getting it on his way back to the room, convincing the Nurse Joy to let him stay out if he would take it easy for the rest of the day.

David raised his head up and turned his head towards the door with an annoyed look on his face. 'Bug off Luke, she's sleeping now.' David replied, not amused by Luke's comment. He was sitting fully now on the bathroom floor, with Grace fully laid up against his body, while being held still in his strong, muscular arms.

Luke grinned as he sat down, continuing to toss the Pokeball up and down in his paw. 'Seems like she has a very deep liking to you that she isn't showing now...don't you think?' Luke commented.

David smiled and nodded, turning his head around and lowering it down, looking at Grace as he softly petted her back. 'I'd like to think so...yeah...I must be the first real form of comfort the poor girls had...and she must look up to me like her old trainer...at least I hope so...' David replied, sighing softly.

'She does.' Luke answered, quirking David's curiosity, remembering Luke's horrible habit of reading minds. Luke caught the Pokeball in one of his paws and folded his arms, letting out a soft sigh of his own. 'She views you as her old trainer almost, she finds you very similar to him, if anything sher17;s quickly becoming very attached to you.' He explained.

David found that piece of information surprising and flattering at the same time Feeling really happy that he's actually making such an impact on her. 'I see...thanks Luke.' David said in thought, really thankful that Luke told him this, letting him know that through and through, this was all worth it.

'So...' Luke said with a grin starting to emerge on his face, knowing he's been acting nice to David for far too long now. 'Enjoy that little "incident" earlier?' Luke questioned, snickering to himself.

David's face fell into a frown, knowing what sort of teasing that was about to come. 'Luke...just drop it...please...' David asked, knowing simply asking Luke to stop wasn't going to fly.

Luke's snicker started growing into an under breath laugh. 'Oh? Well its only fair you let me have my fun now...so how was having Grace on top of you rubbing you like that? Hot huh?' Luke teased. David didn't respond to that, hoping if he stays quiet long enough Luke will loose interest.

'Oh come on, we both know you liked it, she might not be a human but it feels good all the same, doesn't it?' Luke continued, getting David to groan slightly, keeping his silence. Luke grinned to himself and knew he was getting somewhere; he had plenty to go on now thankfully as well.

'Tell me, Grace rubbing against you felt great, didn't it? What about that kiss? That was the first real kiss you've had, wonderful wasn't it? I bet it was! That soft black muzzle of hers pressed up against your lips...her soft, pink tongue exploring every bit of your mouth...the delightful taste of her mouth being ever so present in yours...' Luke continued to tease, knowing this was going to drive David up the wall.

'DAMN IT LUKE! DON'T MAKE IT SOUND HOT!' David snapped, not at all pleased with Luke trying to turn it into something it wasn't.

Luke busted out laughing at that, falling back on the bed as he kicked his legs at the edge of the bed, knowing he got to him. 'Oh but it was, I'm just simply describing what happened is all, it wouldn't be hot however if you weren't attracted to Grace...but seeing as I'm making it sound "hot" you just technically admitted you ARE attracted to her!' Luke quickly concluded, knowing this was all true.

'I am not attracted to her!' David quickly snapped in reply, his mind quickly dismissing such a claim. 'She's a Pokemon damn it, why the hell would I be attracted to her you sick freak?!' David dismissed, not wanting to even acknowledge such a thing.

Luke paused from his laughing fit and put placed a paw on his forehead, taking a deep breath with a smile on his face. 'Maybe not before that, but as much as you don't want to admit it, that whole situation between you two changed your view of her, now you know that you "can" be more than just partners, friends, buddies, oh no...you can be "a lot" more than that...' Luke pointed out.

'Luke just stop, I don't know what you are trying to accomplish with this crap, but me and Grace are friends, stop implying there is or can be anything more than just that, Grace needs a friend, that's what I intend on being to her.' David replied, letting out a soft sigh to calm himself.

"HA!" Luke laughed out loudly. 'True, she wants a friend, but you can do more for her if you are more than "just" a friend. Did that occur to you? She wants to have someone there with her, she's terrified of being alone, if you take that extra step, and she wonr17;t be alone in any way imaginable.' Luke explained.

David blinked several times and registered what Luke just said, as much as he didn't want to admit it; Luke did have a valid point on the subject. 'Damn your logic, even so, in the end it doesn't matter, if she needs someone in that sort of way I could just release her if suggesting we don't find her trainer or something.' David replied again.

'But would she want to leave you suggesting you didn't find her old trainer? No she wouldn't, as I said she's very attached to you now, that attachment will deepen a lot more in time. Besides would you be willing to let her go? I can tell you yourself are getting attached to her as well, you've never really had a Pokemon like her, have you?' Luke questioned, expecting David to give the obvious answer.

'Well there IS you...' David sarcastically commented, making Luke slap his face with his paw, growling slightly. 'But...true...I wouldn't want to let Grace go, because I care about her.' David answered, looking down at Grace and petting her softly. 'I want to make sure she's happy, that what happened to never happens to her again, I feel for her, I really do...but I have to be ready to let go of her, no matter what, so what you've been suggesting isn't valid.' He added, feeling a bit saddened by the thought of having to let Grace go once she found her old trainer.

'Even if your willing to let go of her, that doesn't mean she's willing to let go of you, you're the best thing that's really ever happened to her, at least that's what she thinks. I don't think she'll be able to let you go, because now she's getting more and more confident that you really do care about her, her feelings, everything. The way I see it, the only way to guarantee that she is happy...is to be with you. Her old trainer is responsible for this, you know it, tell me, do you really, at the bottom of your heart, want to trust her with someone who could ever hurt her to such an extent?' Luke argued, knowing that will probably strike home with David.

It worked, it made David realize how much of a role he could play in Grace's life from now on, maybe if he got close enough to her, he could change her, change her to be her old self, change her where she doesn't have to feel pain or sorrow anymore. He alone held so much over her now...he was her future, her only escape from her past.

He remained silent for several minutes as he thought about it; he just couldn't let her go, could he? That would just be too cruel for her...seeing it from her point of view, it would seem like she had been left by the two most important people in her entire life.

'Wait...' David thought as he realized something. 'Why the hell are you even suggesting this crap?! I can understand wanting her to stay and everything, but some of that shit you said earlier was just fucking wrong! What the hell do you care anyways?! You're just a damn canine freak who is only interested in a good laugh you heartless asshole!' David snapped, realizing how wrong this subject got a several points.

Luke laughed to himself at that question, finding it to be quite hilarious. 'Kinda, I want you to either admit to being the sick freak we both know you are or actually get you to TRY something with her...oh god...that rejection...that would...so...perfect!' Luke laughed, getting a few good mental images of what that would be like.

David frowned with that, growling to himself slightly in frustration. 'Canine freak...' David thought as he lowered his head, continuing to hold Grace in his arms.

'Freak eh? I don't think you've quite noticed it yet but your half naked holding a female Pokemon who just tried to rape you a little over an hour ago in your arms, trying to offer her your "comfort and support".' Luke pointed out.

David thought for a moment, noting now how wrong that sounded when someone said it. 'Shut up!' David snapped with a slight embarrassed blush on his face.

Luke laughed a bit more in response to that then sighed, knowing he accomplished what he set out for, putting thoughts and questions in David's head about earlier. As much as David tried not to think about it, he couldn't help but think about it that was the first time anything remotely close to that has happened to him.

As distasteful as it was to admit, that was probably the single most arousing moment he's EVER had in his whole life. Sure he's had his share of being a little bit of a pervert with girls, sneaking peaks whenever he could, like the girls at the river several days ago. But what Grace did...despite the pain from her clawing his arms it definitely beat out all of the other times by a long shot.

'Damn it...' David thought as he let out a deep sigh. 'That bastard Luke had to get my mind on this...' He complained to himself as his mind slowly lulled over the image of Grace on top of him, kissing him like she did...rubbing him like she did. "DAMN IT!" David blurted out without thinking out loud, immediately seizing up with a surprised look, slowly looking down at Grace who only stirred lightly in her sleep due to David shouting that out.

'Shit...' David thought to himself as he let out a breath, scaring the hell out of even himself with that. Not more than a moment later he heard Luke laughing his tail off again outside of the bathroom. 'Asshole...' David thought as he continued to sit there, holding Grace still in his unmoving arms.

--------------

Several hours later it was night, during the time since their argument things between David and Luke have been fairly silent, and David getting increasingly uncomfortable sitting on the tile floor of the bathroom this whole time, he knew his back wasn't going to be happy with him when he eventually got up.

David let out a loud yawn, unsure about the amount of time that's passed by, feeling both restless and sleepy at the same time for sitting here unmoving for such a long time. Finally Grace started to stir from her sleep, slowly opening her beautiful red eyes, blinking slowly as her eyes began to adjust.

She noticed how warm the upper part of her body felt now, which made her slowly shift her head, seeing the blood strained bandage on the upper part of David's arm, making her instantly remember where she fell to sleep and what she did to him. Grace immediately bolted up and out from David's arms, catching him off guard as she blinked several times, then looked him over, seeing that she had been sleeping on him partly, and now really getting to notice the bandages that were covering the wounds caused by her.

"A-are you alright?!" Grace concernedly asked as she quickly stepped forward, now feeling horrible over physically harming David, feeling not the least bit mad at him, knowing it wasn't his fault.

David instantly knew that Grace was her nice self now, it must be night now. "Yes, I am, don't worry about it, if anything I deserved it for letting that idiot fool me like that...are you alright?" David quickly followed in return.

Grave blinked several times at his response, finding his question of her being alright sort of misplaced, which only made her feel worse, despite the fact she hurt him...he was only concerned for her. "D-don't worry about it...? I...I hurt you!" Grace said as she quickly felt regret fill her heart over hurting David earlier, hurting the closest thing she had in the world to her, actually doing "that" to him, catnip or not.

"Hey, hey wait." David said as he raised one of his hands up in a stopping motion. "As far as I'm concerned, that never happened, so letr17;s just pretend it never did happen, okay?" David asked, hoping to try and get this whole thing behind them both.

"Never happened?" Grace questioned, with an increasingly sad look on her face. "I...I hurt you! How am I just supposed to simply forget about that...I...I...I just...can't! I know how I am in the daytime...and I know that was out of even my control then...but..." Grace said as she felt her world closing in on itself, feeling like she was a heartless monster now.

'Don't forget the biting his hand bit earlier and various other attempts at hurting him.' Luke reminded Grace, only making her feel even more like a monster being reminded of that.

"I...I..." Grace stuttered, the words escaping her now as she only wanted to smash her head through a wall, wanting to do something so David would be even for with her for what she did to him. But at the same time, she wondered why, why did he put up with her like this, why after hurting him, did he act like it was totally find when it wasn't? So many questions swirled around in her mind, ones she could only wish she knew the answer for, questions she didn't understand.

"Why..." Grace managed to say, looking at David with her red eyes shimmering with new tears, looking straight at him in the face. "Why...nobody asks you to put up with me...you don't have to do any of this for me...why...why are you going out of your way like this for me? I don't understand it...I know most people wouldn't go out of the way for me like you did...why...why? Why! Why are you being like this...why are you so different...why?!" Grace questioned again and again, only able to ask exactly that, why.

David smiled and tilted his head slightly, letting out a breath. "Well...luckily I'm not most people...as you can probably tell!" David laughed as he brought a hand to the back of his head, running it through his short, black hair. "Joking aside...Grace...you're special, not just special because of the situation you're in...with your old trainer leaving you and everything happening the way it did...resulting in now...but your special for a different reason..." David explained, pausing for a moment.

Grace sniffled and blinked several times, fighting her tears back, feeling like she wanted to cry more, knowing that she actually did hurt someone this kind to her. "You're...special to me." David admitted, letting out another breath, knowing that saying that will probably deepen Grace's view on him, how deep he didn't know...but now...now he didn't want to let go of her.

Luke's argument with him made him realize how much he was and could be to her now, spare for the intimate relationship but which didn't exactly sound that appealing to him despite how undeniably hot that near rape incident was to him...hopefully he could forget about that soon so it would be nothing but a bad...well maybe a "slightly" good memory.

Grace's heart stopped when she heard those words. It was the first time anyone has called her special before...did she...mean that much to him? Was she really special to him? She didn't understand it...she didn't even know if it was true or not...but...she knew from the bottom of her heart, it was true.

"David..." Grace quietly said her voice choked up now. "David!" Grace emotionally cried out, running over to him and tackling him over flat against the floor, nuzzling his face roughly as tears began to freely flow from her once again.

"He-hey! Gr-Grace!" David said in protest, feeling uncomfortable having her nuzzle his face after what happened the LAST time Grace's face was this close to his. However he stopped resisting after his initial problems with it, allowing her to just let her emotions out on him again.

'Thataboy! Do you have any idea how close she is to kissing you right now?' Luke teased from the other room.

'Go screw a Jynx you bastard.' David snapped in reply, making Luke gag at the thought.

Meanwhile Grace continued to nuzzle David furiously, feeling so many good emotions filling her from just the simple words David said. Being called special...especially by him, it just felt...so good, so very, very good, she didn't know why, but it did. "Thank you...thank you...thank you!" Grace managed to force out, wanting to thank him over and over again for telling her she was special.

"Y-You're...welcome just plea--ah, stop." David said, having his fill of the nuzzle attack from her, making Grace realize what she was doing and draw her head back with an embarrassed blush. Then she noticed the way she was standing on top of David now...which was almost exactly like earlier, with the exception of her paws being on his shoulders now.

She bolted back off of David with the blush on her face quickly deepening at realizing that, now remembering in vivid detail what she did to him earlier. "S-s-sorry!" Grace stuttered out in apology, completely embarrassed by this situation.

David laughed and sat up again, brushing himself off. "Oh it's fine Grace..." David answered, slowly lifting himself up, finding not to be such a good idea with the cracking in his back. "A-a-anyways...ow...lets...g-get back to...t-the...room..." David painfully followed as he turned to the door, opening it and slowly walking back into the bedroom, being greeted by Luke who was comfortably lying on the bed with a mischievous grin.

"So how are the love birds?" Luke teased, hoping to get a reaction from one of them.

"Luke damn you, it wasn't anything like that and you know it!" David snapped in response, hoping that Luke wouldn't anger Grace any, the night time was the only break Grace really had. Grace remained silent as she walked out of the bathroom, not wanting to argue with Luke, knowing if she did he would probably make her mad.

Luke glanced over at Grace with his red eyes and had a rather devious idea. 'Tell me Grace, you enjoyed what you did to him back there...didn't you?' Luke telepathically said to Grace, making her stop in her tracks.

'N-no...I..I hurt him...I almost ruined my friendship with him because of that whole thing...' Grace denied, with the thoughts of what she almost did back there still fresh on her mind.

Luke laughed to himself slightly in response to that. 'My, my...silly Grace...you really are quite dense...aren't you?' Luke commented, letting out a small breath. 'Tell me...aside from hurting David...how was that little incident earlier? You know...kissing him...rubbing yourself against him like you did...' Luke described to Grace, trying to make her memories of that moment kick back in.

Of course David wasn't oblivious to what Luke was doing despite he couldn't hear anything he was saying to Grace, he knew Luke too well and knew exactly why he was being so politely quiet now. David walked over to his bag and got his staff out, flipping the latch on the side of it, making it extend to full length. David immediately swung it around to hit Luke's head, but he stopped it just several inches short with a raise of one of his paws.

Luke slowly turned his head half around to David, looking at him with one of his red eyes, and then did a tisk tisk motion with his free paw. "Now, now Davey, it's not nice attacking a friend you know." Luke again teased.

David growled to himself in frustration, at least hoping to get a lucky shot in on Luke's head for once. 'Luke...just please...just leave it alone...I know you're probably giving her the same treatment you did to me earlier, you aren't fooling anyone. Please man?' David pleaded, hoping to see some mercy from Luke on the matter.

Luke sighed and nodded. 'Fine I'll drop, it, still would have been funnier than hell though.' Luke answered, then activating the Pokeball he was holding in his paw, tossing it up above him and letting it land on him, clicking and returning him inside of it.

David shook his head and sighed to himself. 'Well least he's feeling merciful today...' David thought to himself as he walked to the bed, re-compacting his stave back down to the way it was when he wasn't using it. He picked Luke's Pokeball up and looked at it, then noticing Grace from the corner of his eye due to the faint glowing of her yellow rings, seeing her standing there short of the bathroom door still. "Grace?" David questioned, wondering why she was still there.

"Y-y-yes?" Grace nervously stuttered out, quickly turning her head towards David, blinking rapidly.

'Ah fuck, he must have said something bad...' David thought to himself after seeing her reaction. "I think I'll be going to bed tonight, sorry I have to call it early so soon, I'll see you in the morning I guess, tomorrow we'll be heading to the next city." David said, sitting down on the bed then quickly laying down. "Night' Grace." David said as he closed his eyes, letting out another breath as he tried to drift off to sleep.

Grace blinked several mores times at David before slowly walking into the room, edging around the room to the window, looking up outside to see if she could get a view of the moon so she could clear her mind. Unfortunately there was no moon tonight, at least from this window. Grace let out a sigh to herself, looking down at the floor in front of her, with thoughts she knew she shouldn't be having swirling around in her mind thanks to Luke.

She slowly turned her head half way around, back towards David, with the same blush still on her cheeks. She silently figured that it was probably a good idea to try and get some sleep...but she didn't feel like sleeping. She looked outside of the window again, hoping to clear her head of the thoughts Luke had given her, she couldn't have enjoyed any of that...but as much as she wanted to deny it, it felt good at the same time.

'Damn you Luke...' She thought to herself as she lowered her head, both of her ears drooping to the sides of her head, with a lost look on her face. What Luke suggested only confused her, she knew in her mind she hated that, she hurt him, but at the same time, it felt good. She sighed to herself and continued to fight with herself most of the night on the same subject, only able to get any sleep until just before morning.

--------------

The next morning David woke up with a loud yawn, then realizing the nagging pain in his upper arms. Just when he was about to sit up however he noticed something else, he wasn't sleeping alone, something was lying on top of him. David slowly raised his head up and looked down, seeing an Umbreon lying on its side, sleeping soundly on top of him.

He blinked several times as his mind slowly registered what it was he was seeing. 'Grace...is...sleeping...on top...of...me?' David thought, before almost bolting up, stopping himself before he disturbed her too much. He simply stayed still for awhile, wondering what he should do, what if he woke her up? He knew she wasn't exactly a morning person, or any sort of person that involved daylight, for that matter.

David gulped to himself, only imagining how badly Grace might react to...well...this, he knew she absolutely hated physical contact with him when she wasn't either emotional or her normal self at night. The mere thought of it made David shudder to himself. He HAD to get out from under her now.

Slowly, and carefully David began trying to slide Grace off of himself, trying his best not to disturb her. 'Gee...now I know what those main characters in those movies must go through when they disarm a bomb or something...' David jokingly thought to himself, trying to keep some humor in himself despite the current situation.

'BOOM!!!' David heard in his mind, making him jump up under Grace, causing her to wake up. David immediately bolted off the bed and towards the bathroom door, which was locked, David frantically looked around in a panic, wondering what in the hell was going on. 'Have fun buddy!' David heard mentally again, knowing who it was.

'LUKE YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!' David snapped in reply, then looking over his shoulder, seeing Grace standing up on the bed looking at him murderously with her ears pointed back. 'Fuck...' David thought to himself again, slowly turning around and standing flat back against the door, smiling nervously. "S-sorry...G-Grace...I...I...uh...d-didn't meant to uh...wake you..." He nervously apologized.

"FUCKING ASSHOLE!!! I went to sleep like what...several hours ago? And you fucking wake me up this fucking early?! The suns barely even up you asshole!" Grace snapped back.

David gulped to himself and nervously laughed. "Well...uh...you were...lying on top of me...you shouldn't have...laid there...?" David said in excuse, praying that it would work.

"And?" Grace quickly followed in response. "I can fucking sleep where ever I want! This is the second fucking morning in a row I've had to put up with this shit!" Grace quickly followed again in her own defense.

'Ah crap...,' David thought as he laughed again. 'Luke...your fucking dead...' He thought, feeling absolutely pissed at Luke now.

'Have fun with the nice kitty.' Luke thought from outside of the front door to the room, leaned up against the wall calmly, tossing his Pokeball up and down repeatedly in his paw with a smirk on his face. Then he heard a loud crash inside of the room followed by a lot of commotion from David and Grace having one of their disputes again.

Luke laughed to himself after hearing the commotion start, stepping from the wall and walking down the hallway calmly with a grin on his face. "Ahh...itr17;s going to be another wonderful day..." He said to himself as he reached the end of the hallway, walking down the stairs.

--------------

"You look like crap." Luke commented, seeing David walk down the stairs in the Pokemon Center fully dressed with his bag, now sporting several bandages on his face. David glared at Luke with an extremely pissed off look.

"Why did you have to lock the damn doors...?r1; David sighed out frustrated.

Luke laughed to himself and shrugged to himself. "To see how long it would take you to figure out to put Grace in her Pokeball." He answered unconcernedly.

David groaned and slapped his face with his hand. "Asshole..." He muttered out, shaking his head.

"Oh nice wet dream about Grace last night too." Luke commented as he started off again ahead of David, walking out of the front door of the Pokemon Center.

"Yeah, yeah...," David said, not catching what Luke said exactly at first. Then after a couple seconds it hit him what Luke just actually said. "Wait...what?!" David snapped in realization of Luke's comment. "Damn it..." David groaned, letting out another sigh in frustration.

"Is everything alright?" The Nurse Joy asked from behind the counter, concerned over what that dispute was about.

"Oh uh...nothing, just something between us, oh thanks for the room again." David quickly responded, tossing the keys to her.

The Nurse Joy caught the keys, almost tripping doing so and noticing the bandages on David's face. "Did something happen?" She questioned concernedly.

David knew she must have noticed the bandages and laughed. "Oh nothing, later Joy!" David said as he ran out the front door of the Pokemon Center, taking off after Luke. He quickly caught up with Luke and ran past him to the port of the city. "You still walk like my grandma' buddy!" David shouted as he ran past Luke like he was standing still.

Luke just shook his head and continued off at his own pace, not at all being bothered to keep up with David. "Next stop...Slateport!" David cheered, then succeeding in tripping over an Aron that had walked in front of him, making him land face first on the ground.

"Idiot." Luke commented as he calmly walked by, passing David who was laying flat on the ground still.
