Mighty Morphin' Pokémon Rangers
Episode 1: Day of the Dumpster

A space shuttle heads to the moon after getting enough funding. 2 astronauts were the only ones qualified for the mission. "Hey look at that!" said the first one as he pointed to a red light near where they landed. "Let's check it out." As they neared it they were perplexed of what they saw. "What do ya think it is?" he asked his partner.

"It looks like a giant space dumpster," said the second astronaut. "Let's open it up." Big mistake because they had released a group of villains that had been sealed for 10,000 years. First came out a dark-looking fox who went by the name of Antoine, 2 dim-witted robots by the name of Bocoe and Decoe, then a Walrus named Rotor. The astronauts started to run in fear.

Bocoe went to the dumpster to try and wake up their Mistress. "Mistress Sally, wake up. We're free." Just then a chipmunk dressed in witch's clothing got up out of the dumpster and yawned. "Uh-oh morning breath. Let me get ya a mint." Bocoe started to go through his bag.

"It's so good to be free after 10,000 years," said Rotor.

"Here your evilness let me help you," said Decoe helping her climb out of the space dumpster. "Walk with me, talk with me," he chimed in a sing-song voice.

"You made me step in a puddle you dimwit," she yelled pushed him back then blasted the space dumpster with her wand. The astronauts got back in their ship and left. "Awwwww don't leave. You'll miss my coming out party where I destroy the nearest planet." She looked at Mobius and chuckled as she and her evil cohorts teleport to their Moon Palace.

On Mobius, at a place called Big's Gym & Juice Bar in a city called Castelia City, 5 of the most popular teens were hanging out. A pink haired hedgehog named Amy was practicing her gymnastics, a black-haired hedgehog named Shadow and an echidna with red dreds named Knuckles were having a friendly spar, a cream haired rabbit named Cream was practicing her Twi-Quan-Do and a twin-tailed blond fox with glasses named Miles Prower nicknamed "Tails" was preparing for his karate class in which Knuckles taught. Shadow had just countered a move Knuckles was implying on him. "Nice recovery Shadow," Knuckles said.

"Thanks for teaching me Knux," Shadow replied.

Amy then flipped off the beam and landed on her feet. Cream clapped as her friend did so. "Way to go Amy," she said.

"Thanks Cream," Amy said.

Just then Tails walked in completely garbed in a karate uniform."Hey guys," he said towards Shadow and Knuckles as he walked up to them.

"Tails my main brain, what's up?" Shadow asked.

"Well I think I'm mentally and physically ready for class." Then among the crowd there, the 2 Castelia City High School punks came in. One was a bee who was the underling of the other, a Crocodile with a bad attitude

"Oh boy look who's here," Cream said sarcastically.

"Vector and Charmy," Amy said in a depressing tone.

"Hey girls," Vector said, "What about that double date we talked about?"

"Yeah," piped up Charmy. "What about it."

"Sorry guys," Cream said. Charmy was about to fly off but Vector grabbed him by the arm and shook his head.

"What's wrong?" Vector asked in his bad attitude voice. "Are we not good enough for you?"

"Leave us alone Vector," she tried to say in her cute voice that had attracted Tails to her which is one reason she was saying no, however this was a brush-off type of that voice. Amy was available but she had Tarot Cards and they read to wait for her true love, so she's basically waiting it out.

"Oh yeah? Make me," Vector said. Apparently Cream's voice didn't affect him.

"Yeah, make me." Charmy repeated. Shadow walked up behind the girls for some back-up just in case. Charmy quickly rephrased his comment. "Him. Make him."

"Hey you heard what she said Vector," said Shadow.

"Oh whaddya know," said Vector in a mocking tone. "The dancer wants to be a fighter."

"It's okay Shadow," said Amy. "We can handle these two."

"Oh really?" asked Vector. "C'mon Charmy, let's show them some karate moves." They started charging at Amy and Cream but they dodged and flipped both Vector and Charmy over on their backs.

"You two should definitely consider joining Knuckles's karate class." Amy laughed. Cream and Shadow joined in the laughing seeing how childish they were acting.

Meanwhile back on the moon, Sally was surveying where they were to start conquering. "Yes I like it," she chuckled.

"I'm glad I could please you in my choice," Antoine said. He put Sally's telescope nearest to where she could see Castelia City.

"Rotor!" Sally yelled, "Start making Machop patrollers at once!"

"Yes my Queen," he responded joyfully in his lab. He was glad he was finally getting back to work after being cooped up in a cramped space after all that time.

"I'll lead them down and make Mobius yours empress," Antoine said. Sally laughed with an evil tone.

Back at the Big's, Knuckles was just starting his class. He could see Tails was already having trouble keeping up with the others in the class. "Ba-dor." he said and the rest of them stopped immediately. He walked over to Tails. "Try this pal." He got into a stance and Tails mimicked it. As Knuckles's moves got more fluent, Tails started faltering.

"I'm just not good at this," Tails said in a depressed voice.

"Tails even I was a beginner," Knuckles said putting a comforting hand on his kitsune friend's shoulder. "Hang in there okay?" Tails nodded and Knuckles returned to the front. "Jim-Bi," he said and the class turned to face him. "Okay guys what is it that Martial Arts helps us to develop?"

Tails was the first one to raise his hand and Knuckles called on him. "Courage, kindness, integrity, fitness, loyalty and discipline."

"Way to go Tails," Knuckles said with a smile. "You memorized that pretty quickly." Tails smiled back.

"Hey geek," Vector said as he pushed everyone out of the way to get to Knuckles and laughing. "Teach us how to beat people up."

"Yeah," Charmy said imitating karate yells and poking Vector with his stinger by accident.

"Martial Arts was not developed to hurt others," Knuckles said annoyingly.

"We did not sign up for a geeky karate class," Vector said.

Knuckles then got an idea to make Vector look even more foolish. "Okay then Vector, it would seem like your ready for more advanced moves." He kicked upwards to his side. "Side Kick."

"Hey anything you can do, I can do better baby," Vector snorted. He imitated a karate yell, then did what Knuckles did.

"Tornado Kick," Knuckles said. He turned on his heel once then launched an aerial kick. Vector was perplexed.

"Piece of cake," Vector replied. When he attempted this time around he failed miserably falling on the floor. Everyone watching started laughing at him.

"Class dismissed," Knuckles was able to say while laughing. Later that day the 5 friends were sitting at their usual table. "Tails, I'm proud of the progress you made today."

"Really?" Tails asked a little unsure of himself.

"Yeah, we were watching you," Amy said smiling.

"I'm not sure I got what it takes," he replied half-heartedly.

Cream, who was sitting next to him and cuddling his arm, kissed him on the cheek. "It's all a state of mind honey," she said sweetly. "You don't need to be strong for Martial Arts."

"Yeah it's all up in your speciality," Shadow said, jokingly poking at Tails's head. He smiled at Shadow's humor.

"Hey guys," said a fat purple cat named Big, the owner, said to them. He was a good friend of the teens as well. He was carrying one of his drink trays. "Who ordered the spinach Juice?" The teens just shrugged. Suddenly, an Earthquake started occurring. "Oh no! Everyone just stay calm!" Big shouted over the panic. Another tremor caused him to spill the drinks on Vector. Everyone started running out in fear.

"I have a feeling this is no Eathquake," Tails said as they dodged some falling debris.

Somewhere in the desert, at a secluded building, a robot was going crazy from the Earthquake. His name was Omega. "Danger! Danger! It's the big one! I know it! We'll all be destroyed!" He said in a robotic voice.

"Calm down Omega," said his creator Espio, who was an interdimentional wizard caught in a time warp so only his chameleon head was showing through an energy tube. "It's Sally. She's escaped and is attacking the planet."

"Ay-yi-yi what do we do?"

"Use Chaos Control to bring to us 5 overbearing and overemotional Mobians."

"Not that!" Not teenagers!"

"That's right Omega."

"I was afraid of that." With that, Omega hit a switch on a nearby control panel and the Chaos Control system started up.

Back at Big's, Shadow Amy Tails Cream and Knuckles felt something sweeping them away. "What's happening?" Amy screamed.

"This is too wierd!" Cream shouted.

"Hold on!" Knuckles yelled to the group. They were surrounded by pillars of electricity as they were teleported to the Command Center.

When they landed, Amy was really perplexed. "This isn't exactly the mall is it ?" she asked.

Tails, however, looked in awe at the tech he saw before him. "This place is MAGNIFICENT!" He said with much enthusiasm.

"I don't get it," Knuckles said. "What are we even doing here?"

"I just want to know where here is," said Cream.

"Well maybe the answer is in these controls," Tails said as he started pressing buttons on the control panel.

"No don't touch that," Omega shouted and tripped.

Tails came and helped him up. "Whoa, a fully sentient multi-functional automaton," he said. "I've never seen anything like it." Tails was really interested in how something was assembled.

"Welcome Mobians," said Espio as he appeared in his energy tube behind them.

"Whoa," Knuckles said as he turned around. "So who are you?"

"Like what are you?" Amy asked

"I'm Espio," he said. "An interdimentional chameleon wizard caught in a time warp."

"And I am robot assistant E-123 Omega," said the robot properly introducing himself to the teens.

"Can someone come and pick me up because in completely confused," said Amy.

"It's quite simple my dear," Espio said. "The planet is under attack and I have brought you here to save it."

"Yeah right," laughed Shadow.

"Ah a non-believer?" Asked Espio. "Look at the viewing globe behind you and all your questions will be answered." They looked behind them at an orb that stood on a pedestal behind them and images of Sally started appearing. "This is Sally Acorn, an intergalactic sorceress bent on ruling the galaxy. With her henchmen and Machop Patrollers she plans on conquering Mobius."

"What does all of this have to do with us?" Cream asked as they turned back around.

"You have been selected to form an elite team of heroes to battle Sally. Each of you will be given access to extraordinary power drawn from Ancient Pokémon."

"Seriously?" Amy asked. Then PokéBalls of a certain variety appeared on their belt buckles.

"Behold, the keys to your power."

"Whoa," said Shadow with a flabbergasted expression. "What are these?" He asked Espio.

"Those are your Power Morphers. When in danger, raise them to the sky calling upon your Ancient Pokémon and you will morph into a formable fighting force known to one and all as the Pokémon Rangers."

"Morph?" Asked Amy.

"Metamorphosis," Tails said.

"It means change," Cream translated.

"As Pokémon Rangers," Espio continued. "You will have access to a universe of power to command a fleet of machines called Zords"

"I don't get it," Cream said begining to be just as confused as Amy.

"Knuckles," Espio explained. "You are bold and powerful. You shall command the Rampardos PokeZord and serve as the team's leader. Shadow, clever and brave, you shall command the Mamoswine PokeZord. Amy, graceful and smart, the Aerodactyl PokeZord is yours. Tails, patient and wise, you shall command the Bastiodon PokeZord. Cream, fearless and agile, the Saber-Toothed Persian PokeZord will be under your command. Observe the viewing globe once more." They once again turned and saw what appeared to be a tank made of different Pokémon parts. "Just as the 5 of you work together, so do your Zords. When in great need, you need only to call upon them and together they will form the Pokémon Megazord."

"Dude all this at once?" Shadow complained as he turned back around. "This is too wierd for me. It's been real but I gotta go."

"Yeah see ya," Amy seconded.

"Y'all coming? Knuckles?"

"Huh?" Knuckles said in response due to being distracted.

"C'mon let's go."

"Yeah," he replied unsure it was wise to do so.

"Very well," said Espio. "Let the power protect you."

"Well that didn't go very well did it?" Omega asked. "Ay-yi-yi."

As they walked outside, they realized they were in the desert outside of town. "Great!" Amy said. "He could've sent us back into town!"

Back on the moon, Sally was watching the whole thing through her telescope. "Espio I'm surprised, " she said. "Teenagers? So you think you can stop me do you?" She looked back towards Rotor's lab. "Rotor finish up those Machop Patrollers!"

"Yes your evil highness," he replied. "I'm molding the last ones now."

"Those Machops will make space dust out of those teenagers," Bocoe said.

"The beauty of it all is," Rotor said as he continued. "Even if they don't, we could always make more." He took the clay figures of Machop to a machine. "Into the Monster-Matic they go. 10 seconds should do it." He started up the machine. After 10 seconds, Machops started popping out of a hose hanging at the end of the machine.

"Now my Machops," Sally said. "Prepare to get those teenagers."

Back near the Command Center on Mobius, Knuckles was contemplating their decision to leave. "I'm telling you we shouldn't have left. He asked us to save Mobius. I say we do it."

"Do you really think we can?" Cream asked.

"You guys don't know what you're talking about," interjected Shadow. "We were talking to a giant floating chameleon head."

Sally was still watching them from the moon. "Those stupid teenagers don't know who they're messing with," she sneered. Sally then turned to Antoine "Get the Machops. It's time." Antoine chuckled as he gathered the Machops to Sally. "Now go!" She beamed them down to where our 5 heroes were to soon get their first battle.

"Everyone down!" Knuckles yelled as the beam that Sally shot went above their heads.

"What was that?" Cream asked but she couldn't get an answer due to them now being surrounded by Machops.

"These two are mine over here," said Shadow as they started fighting back. He did a mixture of his Hoppip Kido and Chaos Spear techniques.

"Hold on," Tails said as he took off his glasses and put them in his pocket. He was gained up on by two Machops that were gonna flip him over. The other 3 were doing pretty well too. then things turned for the worst as everything was turning in the Machops favor. They started piling them over to the side.

"This day is just too wierd," Amy said in exhaustion.

"What do we do now?" Cream asked.

"Espio said that these Morphers will give us power. Let's use them." They had done as Espio instructed them to do to morph.

"Mamoswine!" Shadow shouted as he became the Black Mamoswine Ranger.

"Aerodactyl!" Amy shouted as she became the Pink Aerodactyl Ranger.

"Bastiodon!" Tails shouted as he became the Blue Bastiodon Ranger.

"Saber-Toothed Persian!" Cream shouted as she became the Yellow Saber-Toothed Persian Ranger.

"Rampardos!" Knuckles shouted as he became the Red Rampardos Ranger.

Finally morphed, Espio told Omega to have them sent back to Castelia City due to Sally sending down Antoine and another platoon of Machops. Again another battle ensued, however everything was in their favor this time. Sally was getting increasingly upset.

"Rotor, those Machops are getting beating by a bunch of pimple-faced twerps!" She screamed at her scientist. "They're pathetic!"

"How about making Antoine big with your wand?" Bocoe suggested. His idea did seem the only plausible option left.

"Do I always have to do everything myself!?" Sally yelled. "Rotor I'll deal with you later." As Sally left to her balcony Rotor moped over his failure. "MAGIC WAND, MAKE MY ANTOINE GROW!" she threw it to Mobius's surface and an evil force seeped into Antoine and made his into a giant form of himself.

"Jeez he's huge now!" Knuckles shouted as Antoine started to nearly tear up Castelia City. "Back off fang face!"

"The good guys are here!" Shadow shouted.

"Get off of Mobius!" Tails shouted.

"Because we're the Pokémon Rangers!" Cream shouted.

"And won't back down!" Amy shouted. Antoine was about to attack again.

Knuckles went to work. "We need PokeZord power now!" Rampardos came from under Mobius's crust near Reversal Mountain. Mamoswine came from the frigid areas around Giant Chasm. Bastiodon charged through Route 4's desert. Saber-Toothed Persian came running through the forests of Route 16. Finally Aerodactyl came out of Reversal Mountain's summit as it erupted. "Let's do it!" Knuckles proceeded to jump into Rampardos's cockpit. "Guys log on." The others jumped into there respective Zords as well.

"Shadow here," Shadow said. "This is kicking!"

"This is Tails," Tails said. "All systems go!"

"Cream here," Cream said. "Ready to rock!"

"Hey nice stereo!" Amy said.

"Pokémon Megazord power engaged!" Knuckles shouted. The Zords started to take their positions.

"Cream here," Cream chimed in. "This is amazing. It's like I already know how to drive this thing." She had pressed a button that started putting the Saber-Toothed Persian in a laying position with his tail inclined on his back.

"Affirmative," Tails said. "It's almost like second nature to me." He had done the same however only the tail of Bastiodon needed to incline. Mamoswine's head became a type of shield while the rest became part of the back and arms. Rampardos merged after she folded her legs a bit. Aerodactyl perched on the back. After the Zords merged they formed the PokéTank.

"Okay guys," Knuckles said as they joined together in the main cockpit, "Let's send this guy back where he came from." They blasted Antoine a few times but he seemed unaffected. "We don't have enough power. Prepare for battle mode transformation."

"Right!" Cream and Tails said in unison.

"Morphin'" Shadow and Amy said in unison as the PokéTank came to a complete stop.

"Activating the battle transformation sequence now!" he pressed a button. the Mamoswine Shield detached and disappeared and the PokéTank started to raise to the feet. The Aerodactyl PokeZord detached from his perch on the PokéTank. Rampardos's head tucked into her chest revealing an anthro Tauros's head. Aerodactyl tucked in the to folds of his wings in and his head and became chest armor. The horns drew forward completing the transformation. Antoine started attacking, and the Rangers countered almost every time but were getting there.

"You fools are finished!" yelled Antoine as he couldn't believe he was being equaled to a giant robotic warrior controlled by 5 teens.

"Mega Pokémon Sword now!" Knuckles shouted. A blade started dropping from the sky as the Megazord went to grab it.

"Argh!" yelled Antoine. "This isn't over! I'll be back!" Antoine disappeared and all was right for now... Except at the Moon Palace.

"I can't believe they beat us!" Sally shouted.

"This is all your fault Bocoe!" Decoe shouted as he hit his stout twin brother. "You should've gone down and helped!"

"Antoine you failed!" Sally shouted.

"I swear it won't happen again empress," Antoine said.

"SHUT UP!" Sally yelled! "I GOT A HEADACHE!"

The 5 teens were back at the Command Center celebrating their first victory. "An excellent job rangers on your first victory," Espio said. "now that you have become Pokémon Rangers you must follow 3 basic rules or lose the protection of the power. #1 Never use your power for personal gain, #2 Don't escalate a battle unless Sally forces you hand and finally keep your identity secret. No one must know you're a Pokémon Ranger."

"Hold up a minute," Shadow said.

"Yes Shadow what is it?"

"I'm not sure we're up for this. I mean we seemed lucky this time."

"Luck had nothing to do with it. You 5 have formed as finer group of heroes that Mobius has ever known."

"No way," Amy said in disbelief. "Really?"

"You have been through an extraordinary experience together. You need each other now and Mobius needs you."

"Alright I'm in," Knuckles said.

"Me too," Shadow said.

"Count me in," Cream said.

"Affirmative," Tails said.

"I don't know guys," Amy said. "The outfits are cool but my hair gets all tangled up in the helmets. I don't think I can do it." The others started complaining. "Just kidding!

"Let's do it," Knuckles said. They formed a circle and put a hand in the middle before they all jumped in the air shouting "POKéMON RANGERS!"
