It was three days later till I awoke and I woke up hearing voices but none seemed familiar. "Angel your awake" the voice said. "Shimmer is that... is that you" I said opening my eyes but I couldn't focus and didn't see anything. "Um" the voice said unsure. "Shimmer I need to tell you about the girls parents" I begun to say but then coughed violently "so after I die and they have grow up you can tell them of there parents sacrifice" I said closing my eyes because the low light in the den begun hurt my head

About a week after we were separated I was walking across the river edge and saw a Maganiem "you there dog, is there any way across" she yelled to me. "Not that I have found, and I really want to find one" I yelled back thinking she may know one. "Good but if you find one destroy it, were being over run by snakes" she yells back to me running off. The next few days I checked up and down the river even harder trying to find any possible clearing... well until the Meganium showed up again with two Mightyena and there cubs, they look paralyzed or something. "You there please save my children" the female Mightyena said almost crying. "How" I yelled back beginning to panic. The Meganium then used her vines and picked the girls and up over the river to me "please care for them" the male said letting his guard down. "I swear I will care for them as if there my own" I said looking at them clearly paralyzed, I knew something was wrong.
Then what I saw next, will haunt me forever, I told the girls that there parents have gone into a war with other pokemon and they wanted them to be safe but the truth is a Serviper jumped out the bush and bit the male on the back of the neck filling him with poison while he was watching me, then the female went to pounce on the Serviper to get him off but Serviper's tale went right into her throat, the Meganium Vine Wiped the Serviper and held him under water till he drowned, then he checked on the Mightyenans. They said something to each other but it wasn't loud enough for me to her, I then saw the mother go numb on her legs and full to the ground, dead and the male said something I'll never forget... "You promise that you will always look over them, there now your children" he screamed as he collapsed from the poison dead as well. Since then I have looked out for them ever since trying to make it seem like I'm just being nice... but they didn't even know I saw there perents till a few day after. I felt so bad I still do for lieing but, I didn't want them to be hurt by this while there so young.

I laid there, with a slightly lighter heart knowing that I won't die without the story passing on, but then when I opened my eyes they did focus and I saw Cindy steering at me with wide open eyes. My heart then sank when I saw Mindy and Lindy as well "girls... I'm sorry... so very sorry I kept it from you" I said lifting my head to high then cringing in pain. "Why... why didn't you tell us the truth" Cindy said with tears forming in her eyes. I didn't respond I didn't know how to respond. Shimmer then walked in "what's going on" she asked looking at the girls all around me. "Your mate is a dam lire, he lied to us about our parents" Mindy said sniffling, and then I saw the girls run off. "What have I done Shimmer" I said whimpering in pain and sadness. "I'd also like to know" she said as she approached me and started licking the gash on my side. I told her the same story I told the girls, then explained I did not mean for them to find out "oh Angel, you really did it this time" Shimmer told me slowly shaking her head side to side. "Shimmer, I'm... I'm going to die" I said before being cut off by Shimmer. "don't be foolish your only a little ruffed up, if I thought the same way you did after my first battle I'd still be a Vulpix hiding under the bed" she said trying to reinsure me. "Regardless, if I do... when I do I want to know something first... I want to know what you really did in the month across the river, I've known you've been keeping something from me" I said to her moaning a bit at the felling of her tongue in my half open wound. "Ok then I'll tell you but I'm not proud of it" Shimmer begun to say as she laid her head next to mine.
Author's note: another flash back ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ and there wavy flashback lines. This one is through the eyes of Shimmer instead of Angle. So don't get confused
I begun by running through the forest, trying to keep as straight as possible, trying not to look back until I found the river, it was flowing like mad and I new Aeria wouldn't follow me over it so I ran down it till I found a half collapsed tree. I climbed it and made the jump and ran into the bushes with the tree collapsing behind me. For the first hour I was trying not to stray to much so you could find me but I couldn't handle hiding in the bushes any longer, I went back to the river and steered at were the tree was when a Delcatty approached me "are you alright sweet thing" he asked me. I went straight to a defensive stance "you bloody men better keep away from me" I threatened while breathing out some small flames. I wasn't in good terms with men after Areia. "Calm down, I'm a friend and if you stay here you're going to be Ekens chow" he said back to me. I just shunted him and went to run off when a Gloom was standing directly behind me, I almost tripped over it "do you trust girls" she asked me. I stood there blinking at her while I though "of course I do, I just don't like strange males" I responded to her. "Well then come with me" she says running off and signaling me to follow. I did and the Delcatty, to my displeasure.
She led me back to a small cave where there were a lot of pokemon in groups all over the cave, they all locked scared and had fear in there eyes when they looked at me, then that Delcatty came in "everyone we found another stranded pokemon" he said with his voice echoing through the cave. "Hay I'm not stranded I was waiting for my mate from across the river to find me" I snapped back at him. A lot of the pokemon gasped and the Delcatty's ears dropped a bit. "Ok what's going on" I then asked when a Meganium entered the cave. She approached me and explained to me everything that has happened in this part of the forest, and this was probably the last safe place in the forest. After a small talk with her I offered to help defend, I new I could after all I was trained by you. During the next week the Delcatty trained me and my heat started to set in, he specifically trained me to use two attacks, which I didn't want to tell you there Sing and Attract. but he also seemed attracted to me a lot, I figured mainly because of the playful flirting that I returned, until one night... he took me to a cliff during the sunset and he was trying to court me, he was gentle as he approached my side and held me with his tale, I new it was wrong but that dam heat made it to hard to resist and I was melting to his whims "when I first saw the sun set here I thought I would never see anything more beautiful... but now as I look at it, it only reminds me of you" he said in a charming voice. "You're sweet but I... I have a mate and I will not be unfaithful... until I know he's dead" I told him trying to control my urges and move away but move away in a fashion that said I'm interested in him. He let me go and I walked away but felt sorry for him I turned around to apologies but when I saw him I saw another pokemon "hello Shimmer" he said to me. "Areia it's you" I said shocked. "Yes it is" he said pouncing me, I panicked and used Attract, I missed Areia but hit the Delcatty "my love I'll protect you" the Delcatty screamed out as he pounced at Areia. The two fought "what the hell, your on my side you idiotic Delcatty" Areia was screaming as I ran away.
When I found the Megnium the Delactty was right behind me "stop traitor, I knew we couldn't trust you" he said looking really ruffed up. "What your friend attacked me, I did my Attract attack in defense" I countered shocked at his deception. "Well then Delcatty, I'm afraid but I believe this young Ninetales" she said getting ready to fight. "You don't get it, I found another Ninetales badly hurt because of her, his name is Areia" the Delcatty explained as Areia entered with a limb and a chest wound, probly got reopend in there little brawl "you! Did you think you could full all these pokemon... your pathetic" he said in a pre prepped speech. I looked in shock and... and fear at Ariea as he entered. The Meganium looked at me then at Areia and the Delcatty aswell as a lot of other pokemon watching us "sorry Shimmer, is what he says true" the Meganium asked me. "What I don't now? Angle made me flee as he battled to keep me safe" I said trying to keep anger out my voice. "Why were you fighting him" the Meganium asked. "Because he tried to rape me" I said this time with anger in her voice. Areia stood there looking shocked, it was evident though that I saw through it "you expect them to believe that, if I tried such and evil act why would I of given you shelter food and protection, you just wanted my home for your self" he said with tear in his eyes and a confused Delcatty standining next to him. "Shimmer I believe him please leave... but be safe" the Meganium said looking down at the ground, as all the other pokemon booed and hissed at me, I knew she had to make that choice on there opinion. I also relized that I should of only mentioned his recent events. The rest of the time I was hiding and trying to keep from being in one place to long, I had to avoid the Dellcatty and Ariea as well as all the snake pokemon, but I eventually found you and you saved me, I would really prefer not to go into it but I was discovered a few times, but I alwas sung my way out of it.
Authors notes: were in the present again ~ ~ ~ ~ more wavy live because I like to draw em and were back to looking through the eyes of Angle... well eye since he can't open one or see through it
"Wait till I was dead... you actually liked the guy" I said in a surprisingly strong yet shocked voice. "Sorry if it wasn't for my heat I wouldn't have even gone to that cliff... you'll never understand" She said to me making it seem like she was explaining a wall. "That I understand but still... till I was dead" I repeated not believing she would replace me "you'd replace me" I finished after a pause. "Look I really only said it because my heat made me have a case of puppy love and I didn't want to hurt him to much" she begun to yell. Shimmer seemed quite uneasy after telling the story and out little conversation "I'm going for a walk now" she said getting up and walking off then much to my displeasure one of her hind legs stepped on my broken leg, I instantly throw open my eyes and clench my teeth together and my eyes filling with water, Shimmer turned around "sorry, sorry, sorry. Are you alright" she said knowing she hurt me. "I'm fine see you later" I said in a high and soft pitched voice not moving a inch in frozen pain. "What no, not after" she begun to say. "Just go" I said in the same voice interrupting her. After she left I filled the air with curses trying not to be too loud and after the pain had finally died down a bit I managed to full asleep.
Authors note: ok last flash back for this chapter I promise, this ones is a dream and still is Angle's eyes were seeing it through ~ ~ ~ ~ and I just like typing wavy lines, also I don't keep promises about flashbacks.... Or do I
I was walking into a gym with Shimmer in her pokeball I go to the gym leader Roxanne "Roxanne, I am Angel and I challenge you to a one on one pokemon battle" I said with extreme confidence. "Really well I do two on two as a minimum, unless you can give me a reason" she says to me in a tone like she didn't even notice me. "Here's a good reason, I will be the world's greatest solo trainer. My first pokemon will be the only pokemon I ever use" I shouted to her acting like I was already one. "Ok kid a one on one sounds fun but no normal badge but I'll give you a special one" she said winking. Then a judge popped up "this is a custom gym battle between Roxanne and Angle" he said waiting for our pokemon to come out, I started with my hope to be trade mark release, I took out my pokeball gave it a kiss whispered "I believe in you" to it then doped it on the ground "Shimmer time to shine" I say as the ball comes down and shimmer comes out sitting right next to me. The gym larder just does a side arm throw pretty slandered action and yells go Nosepass. "Hay what type is that" I asked her. "Rock sweetie so looks like ill win" she said smiling. "YOU'RE the rock gym leader, I thought you were the Fire one" I say in shock. "Nope rock and you are an idiot useing a fire type" she says back to me. Then the ref impatiently goes "battle between Nosepass and Ninetails. GO" he yells.
"Nosepass Rock Throw" Roxanne yells as Nosepass digs his hands in the ground and throws some boulders at Shimmer. "Shimmer Agility" I yell back hoping she avoids the attack, she did and I had a sigh of relief. "Again, but everywhere Nosepass" Roxanne yells and Nosepass throws rock all over the place while running all over the place. I soon figured out there strategy, they were filling the filed with holes and rocks allover the place making it hard for Shimmer to use her Agility, wait no, she can't it's too hard to move. "shimmer use Willowhisp" I called out to her and she jumps on a rock and blue fire forms around her tails and then the fire flew to Nosepass, he tired to run away but it chased him and I couldn't help but laugh at that until I realized I should attack again "Shimmer Tackle" I called out big mistake because Nosepass jumped her and she got hit by Willowisp and was in some pain from the burns "Nosepass finisher it off with another Rock Throw" Roxanne yells with a grin, and this time it hit Shimmer directly, Shimmer stood up a few moments later she locked like she was in a great deal of pain "Nosepass end this with" Roxanne begun to say but I stopped her. "Stop... please stop. I quit I forfeit just don't hurt her anymore" I begged as I started to cry. Roxanne looked at me and shrugged as I ran up to Shimmer grasping her close to me as I picked her up and ran off "you did well kid considering the type of pokemon you used" she said as I ran off, that made me stop "you... you awful person... you new she would not survive another direct hit! A real trainer would of given there opponent at lest one second to recover" I said bawling my eyes out. "Look kid if you can't handle this type of battle you'll never reach your goal" she said starting to show emotion. "Well I'm sorry I actually care for my pokemon, unlike you. I bet when one of your pokemon gets boring to you... you just dump them off and get a different one. You're the type of trainer who makes me sick and thats why I will be the best solo trainer" I continued spilling my heart as Shimmer tried to get free of my grasp. "No Shimmer ill protect you, I'll never put you in true harms way" I told Shimmer as I ran to the pokecenter. "Nurse help... please help" I ran in begging. "Hi welcome to the pokemon center how may I help you" nurse Joy says. "It's Shimmer she got tired from running... then she got hit and was burnt... then, then got hit directly with a ground attack, she's in pain" I said trying to keep from crying even more. "Ok giver her here and will help" nurse Joy said still smiling.
An hour passed and I was sitting next to the fount counter shaking and curing myself when Roxanne came in "hay kid, I'm sorry about your Ninetails" she said sitting next to me. "I'm sorry for the words I used. I did not mean to insult you... I was just so worried" I apologized to her. "No kid it's alright... I was so caught up" she begun to say then shaking her head. "I've done that before, I was going to hard and I've almost been sacked because of it, just I thought you were not in your first gym battle, you sounded so confident" she continued telling me. "You mean you were being harder than you men to" I said sniffling. "Well yes, I wouldn't have even used that Nosepass if it wasn't for how you acted, because trainers in the first gym battle normally aren't confident. "Your pokemon is back to health" nurse joy said placing her hand on my shoulder. I got up and was felling so happy Shimmer was ok when Shimmer jumped over the counter and used Tackle thus tackling me to the ground nudging her head to mine and I started to cry again, I was so happy she was ok. Tem minuets latter I was in Roxanne home having dinner with her "so kid, want a rematch, I'll be fair this time" she said with a small smile. "No I think I'll train a bit so I can defeat the Nosepass of yours" I said back getting ready to leave. "Ok kid good luck" she said back to me and I was gone.
A day later with no real events I was walking down some old route next to a forest, I was warned that the pokemon in there hated trainers so don't fight any of them. I was complying as I saw a few Odish and a Ratattata but then a guy in a red suite came up to us on the back of a Rapidash. He got down "give us the Ninetales" he ordered. "Never" I said stepping in front of Shimmer "don't you dare fight" I whispered to her. "you have no choice, Rapidash Take Down" he yells as the Rapidash charges, Shimmer jumps in font of me but I wouldn't let her be hurt and get in front of her again, the Rapidash's horn went straight through my shoulder and I clenched his horn as hard as I could with my hands, holding him in place "Shimmer I've never told you do something and expected you to do it no matter what, it's been you choice to comply. But this time I do" I said but then the Rapidash lifted me off the ground and the pain was extreme "Shimmer run away, never comeback for me and forget about and make sure you live a happy life" I bellowed out with a stern face" Shimmer nodded and ran into the forest and was gone in a matter of seconds, I was than thrown off the Rapidash horn "you basted I'll get you. "Team Magama don't tolerate punks" the guy said "Rapidash kill him with Ember" he then said. I closed my eyes as I felt the ember hit me and start burning me I was almost about to faint as he left on the Rapidash. Moments later Shimmer ran up to me grabbed my sleeve and dragged me into the forest.

"Just go" I said in the same voice interrupting her. After she left I filled the air with curses trying not to be too loud and after the pain had finally died down a bit I managed to full asleep.
Authors note: ok last flash back for this chapter I promise, this ones is a dream and still is Angle's eyes were seeing it through ~ ~ ~ ~ and I just like typing wavy lines, also I don't keep promises about flashbacks.... Or do I
I was walking into a gym with Shimmer in her pokeball I go to the gym leader Roxanne "Roxanne, I am Angel and I challenge you to a one on one pokemon battle" I said with extreme confidence. "Really well I do two on two as a minimum, unless you can give me a reason" she says to me in a tone like she didn't even notice me. "Here's a good reason, I will be the world's greatest solo trainer. My first pokemon will be the only pokemon I ever use" I shouted to her acting like I was already one. "Ok kid a one on one sounds fun but no normal badge but I'll give you a special one" she said winking. Then a judge popped up "this is a custom gym battle between Roxanne and Angle" he said waiting for our pokemon to come out, I started with my hope to be trade mark release, I took out my pokeball gave it a kiss whispered "I believe in you" to it then doped it on the ground "Shimmer time to shine" I say as the ball comes down and shimmer comes out sitting right next to me. The gym larder just does a side arm throw pretty slandered action and yells go Nosepass. "Hay what type is that" I asked her. "Rock sweetie so looks like ill win" she said smiling. "YOU'RE the rock gym leader, I thought you were the Fire one" I say in shock. "Nope rock and you are an idiot useing a fire type" she says back to me. Then the ref impatiently goes "battle between Nosepass and Ninetails. GO" he yells.
"Nosepass Rock Throw" Roxanne yells as Nosepass digs his hands in the ground and throws some boulders at Shimmer. "Shimmer Agility" I yell back hoping she avoids the attack, she did and I had a sigh of relief. "Again, but everywhere Nosepass" Roxanne yells and Nosepass throws rock all over the place while running all over the place. I soon figured out there strategy, they were filling the filed with holes and rocks allover the place making it hard for Shimmer to use her Agility, wait no, she can't it's too hard to move. "shimmer use Willowhisp" I called out to her and she jumps on a rock and blue fire forms around her tails and then the fire flew to Nosepass, he tired to run away but it chased him and I couldn't help but laugh at that until I realized I should attack again "Shimmer Tackle" I called out big mistake because Nosepass jumped her and she got hit by Willowisp and was in some pain from the burns "Nosepass finisher it off with another Rock Throw" Roxanne yells with a grin, and this time it hit Shimmer directly, Shimmer stood up a few moments later she locked like she was in a great deal of pain "Nosepass end this with" Roxanne begun to say but I stopped her. "Stop... please stop. I quit I forfeit just don't hurt her anymore" I begged as I started to cry. Roxanne looked at me and shrugged as I ran up to Shimmer grasping her close to me as I picked her up and ran off "you did well kid considering the type of pokemon you used" she said as I ran off, that made me stop "you... you awful person... you new she would not survive another direct hit! A real trainer would of given there opponent at lest one second to recover" I said bawling my eyes out. "Look kid if you can't handle this type of battle you'll never reach your goal" she said starting to show emotion. "Well I'm sorry I actually care for my pokemon, unlike you. I bet when one of your pokemon gets boring to you... you just dump them off and get a different one. You're the type of trainer who makes me sick and thats why I will be the best solo trainer" I continued spilling my heart as Shimmer tried to get free of my grasp. "No Shimmer ill protect you, I'll never put you in true harms way" I told Shimmer as I ran to the pokecenter. "Nurse help... please help" I ran in begging. "Hi welcome to the pokemon center how may I help you" nurse Joy says. "It's Shimmer she got tired from running... then she got hit and was burnt... then, then got hit directly with a ground attack, she's in pain" I said trying to keep from crying even more. "Ok giver her here and will help" nurse Joy said still smiling.
An hour passed and I was sitting next to the fount counter shaking and curing myself when Roxanne came in "hay kid, I'm sorry about your Ninetails" she said sitting next to me. "I'm sorry for the words I used. I did not mean to insult you... I was just so worried" I apologized to her. "No kid it's alright... I was so caught up" she begun to say then shaking her head. "I've done that before, I was going to hard and I've almost been sacked because of it, just I thought you were not in your first gym battle, you sounded so confident" she continued telling me. "You mean you were being harder than you men to" I said sniffling. "Well yes, I wouldn't have even used that Nosepass if it wasn't for how you acted, because trainers in the first gym battle normally aren't confident. "Your pokemon is back to health" nurse joy said placing her hand on my shoulder. I got up and was felling so happy Shimmer was ok when Shimmer jumped over the counter and used Tackle thus tackling me to the ground nudging her head to mine and I started to cry again, I was so happy she was ok. Tem minuets latter I was in Roxanne home having dinner with her "so kid, want a rematch, I'll be fair this time" she said with a small smile. "No I think I'll train a bit so I can defeat the Nosepass of yours" I said back getting ready to leave. "Ok kid good luck" she said back to me and I was gone.
A day later with no real events I was walking down some old route next to a forest, I was warned that the pokemon in there hated trainers so don't fight any of them. I was complying as I saw a few Odish and a Ratattata but then a guy in a red suite came up to us on the back of a Rapidash. He got down "give us the Ninetales" he ordered. "Never" I said stepping in front of Shimmer "don't you dare fight" I whispered to her. "you have no choice, Rapidash Take Down" he yells as the Rapidash charges, Shimmer jumps in font of me but I wouldn't let her be hurt and get in front of her again, the Rapidash's horn went straight through my shoulder and I clenched his horn as hard as I could with my hands, holding him in place "Shimmer I've never told you do something and expected you to do it no matter what, it's been you choice to comply. But this time I do" I said but then the Rapidash lifted me off the ground and the pain was extreme "Shimmer run away, never comeback for me and forget about and make sure you live a happy life" I bellowed out with a stern face" Shimmer nodded and ran into the forest and was gone in a matter of seconds, I was than thrown off the Rapidash horn "you basted I'll get you. "Team Magama don't tolerate punks" the guy said "Rapidash kill him with Ember" he then said. I closed my eyes as I felt the ember hit me and start burning me I was almost about to faint as he left on the Rapidash. Moments later Shimmer ran up to me grabbed my sleeve and dragged me into the forest.

I awoke in a sweat "man I can't believe it I never wanted to relive that" I said to myself as my stomach growls, I let of a loud sigh and struggled to my three good pores and limped my way out of the den, I had a small stretch "I guess berries will do but if I caught a Ratattata id be real happy" I said to myself as hobbled to the closest berry bush.
Author's notes: ok we now know what Shimmers did that one month alone, the Poochy girls past and a more detailed happening to Angel becoming a Ninetales, well the events leading to.
