Cindy kept crying ay my paws and I still couldn't move, I felt so helpless because I couldn't do anything. Eventually Lindy came running into this small clearing "Angle please help" she bellows out. "What is it" I say shocked but still unable to move. "It's Mindy, she was looking foe Viney but her foot got caught in something and now she trapped and it bleeding" Lindy says trying hold back her tears of fear. At the sound of this I tired as hard as I could to move and slowly my right front paw to moved "yes... Lindy please take Cindy home" I say in happiness since I can move again. Lindy goes up to Cindy and gives her a few nudges Cindy got up and followed Lindy to the den still crying. I pushed as hard as I could and completed a step in a minute, for the next ten minuets I was still forcing to walk but it slowly wore off and by the end of the ten minute I could run, I followed the faint screams of Mindy as well as her scent but as I was running along a vine flew in front of me making me attempt to trip me so I jumped it but it flew up into my gut and slammed me on my back in to the ground, then a second vine came and both pined me. "Angle, I saw what you did to the Odishes and you will be punished" Viney said walking out of his hiding spot. "It wasn't me it was a Haunter" I said as I tried to struggle out. "Sure it was, you were only identified by some of the survivors" Viney said crushing me to the ground. "Ok then... go to my den Shimmer will explain every thing and if I flee the forest no biggie I was going to get banished right" I bargained with Viney. "we may be friends but I am no fool" Viney said considering releasing me and walking off. "Sorry" I then said as I used Ember in his face, he released me in a cry of pain and I crawled to my feat and ran off to the scream. Twenty minutes later I found Mindy, she had a small wire trap caught around her paw. I slowly approached her "Mindy calm down I'll help you" I say as I approach her. "Angle help me" she cries as she runs for me until the wire pulls tight on her paw and she trips with a yelp of pain. I quickly jog over "let me have a look" I say bending over to her paw. It dint look to bad and seemed easy to get off, if she calmed down.
"Ok Mindy I need you to calm down and hold still" I say as I give a few small licks to her paw. She nodded but every time I went to move her paw she moved or flinched or did something that made it too hard to get her out or hurt her. Then some thunder started and Mindy became real afraid. I stopped trying to get her free for now, knowing I couldn't while she was so scared "Mindy get closer to the pole" I tell he and she does, I then sit right over her and she curls up by my belly, after she got comfortable I rapped my tails around my self and created a small little bubble of warmth as I increased my bodies temperature "you warm Mindy" I asked before she fell asleep. "It's real nice... Angle" Mindy says in a tone she had a question. "Yes Mindy" I say as a few drops of rain start to full on me. "Can I call you Dad?" she asks in a tired tone. "I'd be honored, but get some sleep" I say as I thought about when Cindy call me dad to. "Thank you, night dad" Mindy says falling asleep. Shortly after Mindy had fallen asleep the rain begun to pour and each drop hurt a little but I sat there for the next five hours and I was soaking wet when I herd Viney approach me form behind "what you doing in the rain" Viney asks as he walked in front of me. I just lifted one tail slight just enough for Viney to see Mindy "she is caught in a trap and I couldn't get it off of her while she was panicking" I told him trying to keep her warm. "Well how can I help you because this rain must be painfull for you" he said with an overly large grin but kept his voice down a bit. "Just having someone to talk to helps" I say smiling a bit. "Still" Viney says looking around me then using his vines to grab a tree branch, he pulled it over me and the rain stopped hitting me. "Thanks Viney that's much better" I said no longer feeling the rain. "No problem but I hope the rain stops soon" Viney said as he just sat there smiling.
The next morning that was several hours away Viney had fallen asleep after I told him to let go of the tree, but to my displeasure he did it instantly not gently and all the rain on the leaves came falling on me, it was freezing and now I was in the rain again. Mindy had begun to wake up "Mindy stay still, I'm going to free you now" I say to her in a comforting fashion. Then she just nodded and stayed how she was laying. "Viney wake up" I say in a relativity loud voice. "What... what's going on" he said with a mighty yawn and smiling again. "ok I need your help" I said checking out Mindy's paw "all I need you to do is hold this little not still" I explained to Viney as he did what I said. I then gently pushed the slack through to hole and the loop was big enough for Mindy to get her paw out and when she did she limped away from the trap. I followed her and after she felt safe she sat underneath me with tears in her eyes and her tail between her legs "thank you daddy" she says trying not to cry as the tears full down her checks. I bent down to try and pick her up but stooped just above her "um Mindy where did your mother use to pick you up" I asked with a small blush on my checks. "Around the scruff of my neck" she answers still fighting off her tears. "Ok... tell me if I do it wrong" I tell her as I pick her up. I seemed to do it right and make my way back to our den when Viney started to follow "Angle I need to tell you something" He said giving me a nudge and a big smile. "Which is" I said with difficulty since Mindy was in my mouth. "There's been a Trainer seen exploring the outer rims of the forest so were all avoiding her ok" he said with a growing Smile. "Ok" I hummed since it was easier than saying.
When we got back to the den Viney had left and I saw nine Ninetales sitting on the other edge of the clearing, I put Mindy down "go into the den and tell the other to be quiet" I told her as she scurried into the den. "What do you all want" I said in a more masculine voice than normal. "Were the council of the Ninetales, and were her investigating a death of one" one of the Ninetales said. "Well before you condemn my daughter you should know I'd of done the same thing and none of you are touching her" I said getting into an aggressive stance with all my hair standing on end. "So you admit that your daughter killed Areia" the same Ninetales said. "Yes but he was a monster trying to kill us, and if you want her your going to have to go through me" I said beginning to get angry. The council huddled together and looked at me from time to time, then they went back to how they were sitting before "we decided that you shall be punished for what your daughter did, you punishment is that you will be human again" the Ninetales said again. Then all there tales glowed and my body started to tingle, the last thing I saw was red lightning bolts flying across my body and it hurt like nothing before. Several hours later I awoke with Shimmers muzzle prodding my, I brushed my hand past my check "Shimmer I'm sleeping" I said slowly wakening up rubbing my face. "Tales tales ninetales" Shimmer said as I realized, this is a hand not a paw. I shot to my feet and looked down, I was human and completely naked besides the collar I put on. I started to freak out when Lindy came out to see what the strange noise was, she saw Shimmer looking at my confused and launched her own Quick Attack at me and got me square in the back. I landed with a thud and saw Shimmer scolding Lindy and then Lindy steering at me confused "poochy pooch" she said to me. "Sorry Lindy I can't understand pokemon language" I said giving her small pat on the head. I got back up and brushed myself off and let out a long sigh "Shimmer can you take me to where my back pack was" I asked starting to walk off, she nodded and lead the way as Lindy went back into the den. Two hours later I was back where I first was turned onto a Ninetales. Shimmer got my backpack from a hiding spot and passed it to me. I checked and it still had two pokeballs and twenty repels as well as my pokedex. I put the back pack on the ground and bent down to Shimmers eye level "well Shimmer... we need to say goodbye. The girls still need there mother and I wont ever become a trainer and put you all in pokeballs but I promise I will learn to speak pokemon and I will return one day" I said giving her a hug I then stood up and Shimmer walk off looking so sad "Shimmer, I also need you to use Tackle on me" I said leaving my self wide open, she turned around and nodded then charged and hit me hard, I flew through the air rolled on the ground a bit and got back up, now I looked roughed up and I walked off looking for the supposed trained "Ninetales tales" Shimmer called out as I walked off. I didn't turn around but I raised my hand and gave a small wave. One hour later I found a fire I walked up to it and saw Roxanne was sitting there "Roxanne what are you doing here" I said exhausted as the fatigue form last night since it had set in a while ago. "Angle thank goodness I found you... why are you naked" she asked when she saw me. I sat down next to the fire "if I say you must never tell anyone" I first said. "Ok I swear" she said in a concerned voice. I thought for a second should I tell her the truth or lie, I decided to lie "I've been lost in the forest when a Team Magma guy attacked me, Shimmer tired to fend him off but he killed her and then beat me up and left me for dead in the forest" I said trying to force tears out my eyes. "So you've been lost in the forest all this time" she asks with an interested look in her eyes. "uh-hu" I said rubbing my eyes. She sat there not knowing what to say. "Can I have some clothes" I asked breaking the silence and Roxanne got up and went straight to her backpack. "Um the top should fir you as well as these panties... I mean underwear and I got no shorts that will fit you so hear" she said throwing me a top some underwear and a shot skirt. "Um thanks" I sad getting dressed. "Angle I got some bad news for you" Roxanne begun to say ten minutes later from our awkward silence. "What is it, because from what's happened to me you wont upset me" I said thinking of how much I wanted to be a Ninetales again. "Your house, well it was attacked by a mysteries gang and your... well your family is all dead and house destroyed" she said in a sorry full tone. "Oh... so I have lost one family and I had to leave my other" I said not trying to stick to my story. "What do you mean your other" Roxanne said unsure why I said that. "Don't worry about it" I said lying down and going to sleep, Roxanne went to put a blanket on me but I took it off because I haven't slept with blankets in the last seven years.
In the mooring I woke up with a stretch and a Ninetales steering down at me "calm down" he said as I opened my eyes. I sat up "you can talk" I said still waking up. "I'm part of the council and we've talked to Shimmer. She has given proof that made us decide that you can become a Ninetales again. In one condition" he said with an elegant look. "What I can... I'll do anything" I said getting excited. "Ok, humans are trying to synthesis a special stone that makes any pokemon evolve to it next state, you must destroy the stone and the facility. Thankfully this Roxanne will take you there because it's in her home town, also you got ten days to do it" he explained to me. "Ok but how, I got no powers and bullets hurt" I said worried I'll die before I get to see Shimmer again. "Were aware of that, and so we decided to give your attacks back form when you were a Ninetales" he said is such a clam voice I felt at ease, then his tails glowed and the red lightning bolts when through my bodies and I passed out. Half an hour later I awake again "morning sleepy head, eat this and were going back to my place" Roxanne said like she was in a hurry. All I could think of is how I'm meant to use Iron Tail and a strategy for getting in and out of the place. "Um Angle are you with me" she then asked seeing me in a day dream "what... oh I'm fine" I said snapping out of it and eating my food quickly. As we walked through to forest for her house I wanted to try this supposed power but I couldn't with Roxanne so close to me "when we get to town you can go buy some clothes that fit" she said giving me a cute smile. "I suppose, but how am I going to get any money" I said depressed now that it seems I may have to live like a human again. "Well you can be a trainer at my gym" she said but stopped remember that Shimmer was my only pokemon "I'm sorry Angle I didn't want to remind you" she said realizing what she said. "Don't bother, I'll find a way to make ends meat" I said in a harsh tone. "Well until then mind if you lived with me, I have too much food anyway" she said giving me a nudge. "Yeah... thanks" I said still in the harsh tone. When we made it to the town Roxanne had to go to the gym and I came along to but went to the field area "can I have some privacy" I asked trying to look as if I may break out in tears. "Sure thing here's the key lock up after your done" Roxanne said passing me the key. I stood in the middle of the field and looked around, no one was around I steered at a rock and tried and Ember attack. It worked balls of fire flew out my mouth and hit the rock, I smiled it was just like when I was a Ninetales I then tried an Agility and was almost as fast as I usually was. I tired a Tackle that worked but when I tried an Iron Tail that didn't work "ok I need real power to do my little job" I say to my self as I thought back to when Shimmer tried to teach me Flame Thrower. I took a deep breath in and let the fire inside me grow I spat air out and a flame fly out my mouth "yes it worked" I said going into a triumphant pose. I herd clapping behind me "Angle that is amazing" Roxanne's voice said behind. I stood there to afraid to turn around "Roxanne I can explain" I said hoping she won't question me further.
