Eleiria

Chapter 2: Eleiria

The ship had set sail shortly afterward, their heading unknown to their two captives. They had been moved from the support beams in the cargo hold to the brig, heavy iron gates blocking their exit. Each cell was a cramped square, furnished only by a wooden cot bolted to the floor. Both captives lay on their cot, Elias staring at the planking above, Cassandra sleeping quietly.

Elias strained to decipher the noises above. Other than the loud clatter of the crew's boots above, there was nothing important. Elias sighed, and rolled over onto his side. The ship rocked gently, and outside the wood of the walls, he could hear the waves splashing against the side of the ship. The mental fatigue of recent events caught up to him, and his mind shut down as he fell asleep.

"Captives, wake up!" someone barked, banging on the iron bars of their cells.

Elias cracked one eye open and sat up. Cassandra was rubbing her eyes as she yawned. The ship had stopped, and outside Elias could hear the crew getting off, and shouting from outside.

The iron gates squealed loudly on rusted hinges as they were pulled open. Two sailors hauled Elias and Cassandra to their feet, and half pushed, half escorted them off the ship.

The port town that they were led to was filled with sailors and regular citizens. Minstrels traveled throughout the town, playing hearty tunes from their various instruments. Elias cast a fleeting glance around, and was shoved off the ship onto the dock. He heard Cassandra pushed behind him, and both were thrown into the bed of a waiting carriage.

Their hands were tied behind their backs, and their legs were bound together. There was a loud whip crack, and the carriage started moving.

"Feh," Elias spat, "this is easy enough to escape from." He simply slid his hands from underneath his back, and untied the ropes around his feet. He untied Cassandra's bindings, and they quietly leapt out of the carriage and dove into the bushes at the side of the road.

Cassandra watched the black-painted carriage drive away, pulled by two Rapidash. She didn't know how long it would take their captors to find out that their prisoners were missing, but when they did find out, she and Elias had better have disappeared.

They waited until the carriage turned around the corner, and stepped out onto the road.

"Where do we go now?" Cassandra asked, dusting her clothes off.

"Well, we should get to that town we landed at, and see if there's a way back to Lutheria," Elias replied, already walking down the road.

Cassandra followed him the short distance back to the city. As they neared the gates, Elias stopped.

"Shit. This is Eleiria. We can't let anyone here know that we're from Lutheria," he said, removing his armored jacket and shoving it in his pack with his helmet. He looked at Cassandra's outfit. "Hm...you should pass for a prostitute," he said, trying to put some humor into the situation.

She chuckled a bit, and suddenly remembered, "Why can't we let them know that we're from Lutheria?"

"I'll tell you when we're alone," he said, "Someone might overhear us."

He was about to suggest getting a room at an inn, but he heard his stomach growl. "Maybe we should get something to eat first."

"How? We don't have any money," Cassandra pointed out.

Elias fished through his pockets and pulled out several coins. "There's only enough here for food. Either we eat now and find somewhere to camp, or we stay in a room at the inn and hunt later."

Cassandra thought for a moment. "Well, we don't have anything to hunt with, so I suggest we go to a restaurant and camp out tonight."

They went to a pub on the main road, and outside, a homeless man in grubby, tattered clothes beckoned to them.

"I see ya have some money with ya. How about seein' if ya can git some more, lad?"

Elias turned to face the man. He never could resist gambling. "Sure. I'm always one to test my luck."

"Elias, are you sure you know what you're doing?" Cassandra whispered.

"Of course I do. I play games of chance all the time," he replied, following the man into an alley beside the pub.

The man sat down on a crate in front of a small crumbling table. It was covered with a stained white tablecloth, and on it sat a deck of cards. Elias sat on the crate opposite the man.

"So, ya think ya can win, lad?" the man asked, shuffling the cards.

"I'm confident. What game are we playing?"

The man handed the deck to Elias to cut. "We'll be playin' the classic Hurt or Help. Ya know that game, lad?"

"I play it all the time," Elias replied, dealing five cards to the man and himself.

Elias placed six cards on the table. He checked his hand. King of clubs, 8 of diamonds, 8 of spades, 9 of hearts, 6 of spades.

Elias tossed in the ante, and raised by one coin. The man called his bet, and placed one coin as well. Elias pointed to the first card and said "This card helps your hand." He flipped it over; 6 of hearts. The man placed two coins on the table. Elias did the same and pointed to the next card. "This one hurts your hand." He flipped it; 8 of hearts. Damn.

"All 8s must be discarded," he said, pulling the two out of his hand and placing them off to the side.

Elias placed two coins on the table. The man did the same, and the total pot was up to 12 coins. Elias had 8 left, the man had 20. "This card helps your hand," Elias said, flipping the next card over. 4 of spades. The game continued in this manner until it came to the last card. The only thing Elias had so far was a pair of 6s and 4 coins. He placed two on the table, and so did the man. Elias flipped the last card. 8 of clubs, which cancelled from the bad 8 earlier. Elias placed his three cards down, and exposed his pair of 6s. The man had a pair of 2s.

Elias picked up the total of 28 coins, and started to leave when the man challenged him to another round. Elias shrugged and accepted. The game went on as before, but Elias wasn't as lucky. On the last bet, he put all the coins into the center, and revealed his cards. He had 3 queens, and the man had 3 kings.

"Tough luck, lad," the man said, chuckling to himself as he took the coins and left.

Elias sighed and dropped his head on the table. He could feel Cassandra's eyes burning into the back of his neck. He got out of his chair and faced Cassandra.

"I thought you played these games all the time," she said bitterly.

"I do, but that doesn't mean I win every time. They're all games of luck," he replied.

"Well, due to your 'luck', we have nowhere to sleep or anything to eat." She stormed away from him.

Elias sighed and started to think. The sun was starting to set, and the temperature had already begun to drop. He stood up and followed Cassandra, who was sitting inside a small woodshed next to the inn. She sat behind a pile of wood so it would have been harder for Elias to find her.

Carefully, he sat down next to her, and she turned away. "Cassandra, I'm sorry for losing all our money."

"I don't want to talk about it," she replied coldly. "You gave up every coin that we had on your so-called 'games of chance'. Now we don't have money for anything, and it's all due to your lack of judgment."

Elias sighed. "If it means anything, I tried to get enough money for food and lodging. My luck just turned south at the worst possible moment."

Cassandra laughed. "Is that what you call it?" She turned towards him, her eyes blazing. "I call it a complete loss of foresight and a very irresponsible decision!"

"Cassandra, I-" Elias suddenly felt a dull pain in his jaw as she punched him. She turned back around, and sat with her arms folded, her tails swaying through the air angrily. It began to rain, and the temperature dropped even further. Elias could see his breath curling in front of him in white clouds.

He leaned against the pile of wood and heard Cassandra shiver. "You cold?" he asked.

"I'm fine," she replied icily.

Elias watched her for a bit, and noticed that she was rubbing her forearms, trying to keep herself warm. She tried hiding it behind her tails, but it wasn't working very well. The effort almost made Elias laugh. He knew that she'd probably rip his cock off for doing so, but he removed his jacket and put it around her. Instead of throwing it away like he had expected her to, he caught a surprised look on her face.

"What did you give me this for?" she asked, turning around.

"Because it's freezing out here," Elias replied, the chilly air starting to get to him.

"Won't you be cold?"

"Eh, the cold doesn't really bother me," he said, and shrugged. Truthfully, he was freezing.

She giggled. "You can't fool me."

"What do you mean?" Elias asked, surprised.

"I can see your teeth chattering," Cassandra pointed out. "But what I don't get is why you did this, after I was so mean, and after I hit you."

"I guess it's because..." he hesitated. He never was any good in these situations. "...I kinda like you."

Cassandra grinned softly. "Only kinda?"

"What?" Elias got the feeling that she liked him more than he liked her.

Cassandra sat next to him, and traced one of her tails across the side of his neck. "I know I haven't been the kindest towards you lately, but I thank you for trying to impress me."

Elias's heart inexplicably sank. "I wasn't trying to 'impress' you, I was simply trying to show you how much I like you."

"Well you pulled it off, albeit with some setbacks," she replied, curling another tail around the back of his neck.

Elias forced a laugh. Cassandra didn't think she was getting her point across. Either that or he was ignoring it. She hoped he wasn't. She hated being ignored.

"Not that setbacks are bad..." she curled the rest of her tails around him and nuzzled his neck.

Elias was surprised at her sudden action, but recovered. He hugged her, and she coiled her tails tighter around him. He loved the feeling of the warm, soft fur around him. Automatically, he kissed her. Cassandra smiled and kissed him, licking his lips. Elias gave in and welcomed her soft tongue into her mouth, the heat almost unbearable. He pulled her closer, almost on top of him. He ran both of his hands down her back, and held her against him.

Cassandra continued kissing him, trying to avoid cutting her tongue on his fangs, which almost happened twice already. Her legs had previously been freezing, only being covered by the bottom of her green cotton tunic, but she suddenly felt much warmer. She also noticed that she was starting to become wet. With one hand, she reached between her legs and stroked her panties, eventually pushing them aside and inserting her fingers inside of herself. She moaned, increasing the fury of her kiss.

Elias took the hint and ran his hand up her bare thigh until it met with her hand. They both worked at her hot slit for a while, until her hand moved up a bit and traced around her tailhole. Cassandra actually had no idea why she was touching herself there, but she continued anyway. She stuck her fingers into her ass, surprised at the amazing feeling that she got.

Elias continued fingering Cassandra's burning hot cunt, and with his free hand he cupped one of her breasts and started squeezing it. Cassandra sat up for a second, and instead of removing her tunic, she used one of the claws on her other hand and slit the cotton from the collar to the hem, splitting it neatly in half. Elias removed his black long-sleeved shirt, and she lay back down on top of him, her hardened nipples poking through the fur on her chest, enticing him. Elias traced a claw around one of her nipples, and then licked it. Cassandra shivered suddenly from the wave of pleasure that surged through her, and rubbed her other breast with her free hand.

Elias ran his tongue around the nipple, and started to suck on it. Cassandra moaned again, and fingered her tailhole faster. She was nearing an orgasm, and she knew then that it was going to be an earth-shattering one. She gritted her teeth and removed her hand from her tailhole. She whimpered with each wave that slowly built up in her stomach and they released in a huge torrent that created a large puddle on the stones below them. Cassandra managed to keep from crying out in pleasure when she hit, but couldn't restrain herself from unleashing a huge ball of flame off into the alley.

When she had finally finished releasing the enormous tidal wave of fluids, she lay down on Elias's chest, breathing heavily from the strength of the release. She was in pure bliss, but she knew that even more was on its way, and soon. She could feel an extremely hard lump pressing against her thigh, and she eagerly unzipped Elias's dark green combat pants, and pulled out the rock-hard cock.

She licked the first two fingers on her other hand, and wiped her saliva onto his cock, making sure it was wet before slowly lowering herself onto the throbbing member. She only went down halfway, introducing him to the intense heat inside of her. Elias gasped from the high temperature, but he wanted more of it. He wanted her to take his entire length inside of her.

Cassandra read these thoughts, and smiled softly. She lowered herself further, his cock breaking through her hymen. She gritted her teeth against the pain, and felt the tip of his member nudging her cervix. She was much bigger than she had anticipated; his size was stretching her insides almost to the breaking point. It hurt like hell, but she managed to block out the pain and enjoy the feeling of his fullness inside of her.

The heat inside of Cassandra's cunt made Elias feel like his cock was being burned as she simply sat upon it. He loved her tight walls squeezing his member, and never wanted it to end. He would have given the world for this moment to last forever.

Cassandra had decided that she'd sat still long enough. She slowly raised herself, and lowered herself again. She felt his cock slam against her womb, and loved it. She continued humping him slowly, and kissed him. He quickly returned the kiss, instantly slipping his tongue into her mouth. He traced his claw around her breast, and squeezed it softly, in time with her motions.

She clenched her vaginal muscles, tightening her hold on his cock as she moved her hips. Elias put a hand on one of her thighs, guiding her with her movements. She started thrusting faster, her orgasm already building, to her disappointment. Also to her disappointment, she felt his knot start to grow. She felt it push insistently against her entrance, and she debated whether to take it or not. Though she had the ability to control whether she was impregnated or not, she was still wary. What if it didn't work?

She decided what the hell and slammed down on his cock, the knot slipping inside of her. It felt almost as big as her fist, and thrust once more as she felt a bit of spray inside of her. Elias gave her breast one final squeeze as he fired off inside of her, feeling a stream of milk squirt from her breast and splatter on him. Cassandra felt his hot seed pump into her womb, and unleashed another torrent of flame from her mouth, this one bigger than before, singeing the brick on the building on the other side of the alley.

She collapsed onto Elias's chest and rolled onto her side. She hugged him tightly, and wrapped him in her tails. She laid her head on his shoulder, and closed her eyes, almost instantly falling asleep. Elias lay awake for a few minutes, stroking her golden mane. He never would have thought that this dancer would be sleeping beside him, her head on his shoulder. He nuzzled her one final time before falling asleep as well.
