"I think he's finally coming to."

The light blinded him as his eyelids slowly separated.

"What...where the hell am I?" Sneasel says.

"You're safe."

Sneasel turns toward the direction of the voice. Some large pink pokemon with an egg, stared at him with a smile. Sneasels eyes closed again.

"What happened?"

"There was a landslide on top of the mountain and while we were clearing away the debris we found you." The pokemon said.

"At what point," asked Sneasel "did I ask for you're help?"

Sneasels eyes flashed and narrowed at the pokemon.

The strange pokemon stared at the Sneasel on the examination table.

"I j-j-just wanted to help."

Sneasel began to sit up and winced as the pain shot through him. He clenched his teeth.

"Please don't move you'll have to stay in bed for at least a week." came a voice on the other side of the bed.

Sneasel turned his head to look at the source. It was small and yellow with two red spots on its cheeks.

"And what, prey tell, are you?"

"I'm Pikachu; you're a Sneasel, right."

"Pikachu, huh? Never heard of you."

The pikachu put his paw on the side of its head and scratched.

"Yah, well you're not that well known around here either. If it wasn't for Abra we wouldn't have the faintest clue as to what you were. Hahaha."

"And what, exactly, is so funny?" Sneasel snapped.

"Uh, nothing." Pikachu said frowning.

Sneasel turned back over to the pink pokemon.

"And you?" Sneasel asked.

"Huh, what about me?"

"What are you?" Sneasel said with an apparent tone of indignation.

"Oh...Uh, I'm Chansey."

"Is it always this hot, and bright?" Sneasel asked as he collapsed back onto the table putting his claw over his eyes.

"What are you talking about? It's fine. This is the best weather we've had in awhile." Pikachu said.

"Look cupcake. As we've already determined. I'm not from around here. Where I live it's dark and cold. And I certainly never had to worry about heat stroke." Sneasel said with a certain level of distain in his voice.

"Oh...Sorry." Pikachu said as he looked down at the floor.

"Dark and cold huh? Well the only place here that's like that is the freezer." Chansey pondered as to how to make the Sneasel more comfortable.

"Damn it." Sneasel said,

"What's wrong?" Pikachu asked. But it fell on deaf ears as Sneasel fell unconscious once more.

***

"Huh, where am I?" Sneasel mumbled groggily as he came to in pitch darkness.

His eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness and he began to see his surroundings more clearly. There were assorted boxes and vials laying about. He was lying on a bed. The covers removed and the pillow hanging off the side. There was a door that could only be opened from the outside. The door had a viewing window so that anyone could see in, or out. Sneasel sat up on the bed. He winced at the obvious pain but it was nothing he couldn't tolerate. He climbed off the bed and made his way over to the door and peered out the window. From what he could see there were assorted cabinets and boxes lying about. Several file lined shelves filled any space that wasn't already occupied. There was no one outside that he could motion to. His stomach gurgled after not having been fed for awhile. Sneasel looked around to see what there was to eat. Even an ice-cicle would suffice at this point. He made his way back towards the bed. There was a bowl of berries beside the bed. There was a note.

I don't know if you will even be able to read this in the dark but, please
eat your fill of the berries provided. I should return soon to check up on
you. Please try to get some rest. These are the best accommodations we can
provide at the moment. -Chansey
"Great so they lock me in a freezer, and leave." Sneasel said,

Sneasel picks up the bowl and sits down on the bed. He picked up one of the berries and stared at it for a bit. It was red with random blue spots; small ice crystals had began to form around the outside as well. Sneasel put the berry in his mouth and began to chew.

"Well, I've eaten worse." Sneasel mused "Well there no Pidgeot eggs, but I guess they'll do."

After finishing off the berries Sneasel laid back on the bed with his claws behind his head. Eventually he fell asleep once again. Sneasel woke up to a loud bang as the bowl fell to the floor.

"What the?" Sneasel snapped up and looked around to find the source of the sound.

"Oops, sorry, I dropped the bowl." Chansey said "but, since you're awake lets take a look at your injuries."

"I'm fine." Sneasel said.

"All the same it's better to be safe than sorry." Chansey sang.

Sneasel shook his head to fight off the sudden fatigue. Chansey led him out of the freezer and to an examination room. After a brief analysis Chansey sighed.

"You know if you were more compliant I wouldn't have needed to do that."

"Nnnn, I told you I'm fine." Sneasel said.

"Well at any rate you will be after a few days of rest." Chansey said, "So until then stay out of trouble, and don't get into any fights."

"That's real interesting," Sneasel said, "Can I go now?"

"Fine, but come back here if you need to cool down in the freezer."

"Will do"

Sneasel walked towards the exit. When the door opened a wave of heat overwhelmed him. Sneasel took a step back and winced.

"Damn,"

Sneasel made his way outside. On the street thousands of unfamiliar smells wafted through the air and a variety of strange sounds filled the air. There were small buildings lining the path with others farther away. Sneasel looked around and began to explore the village. He came across a peculiar building. It was the biggest building in the entire village. It also had the smallest area in the front. There was a variety of things scarves, accessories, berries, and some things he couldn't even tell what they were. A red and white bird with black rings around its eyes looked up.

"May I help you?" it asked.

"Uh, just looking around." Sneasel said,

"I've never seen you around here before, I'm Delibird."

"Yah, I'm new around here. What is this place?"

"This is the local store. All of the pokemon in this village come here at one point or another. We have everything you could ever want. We mostly serve the rescue groups but other pokemon shop here as well."

"I see. Well its been fun but I should go."

"Oh, really that's a shame. Um, before you go, could I ask a favor?"

"What is it?" Sneasel asked. He had somehow expected something like this.

"Well, The rescue teams are so busy that they can't take the time to find the rare berries that are vital to they're mission success. And while I do have some in stock they're in such high demand that I can't keep them in stock so I need someone to go and find them for me. What do you say are you interested?"

"In short, No. But let's say I was what would I get out of it."

"Oh, well. If you were interested then you'd be paid for the work of course and there's something in the warehouse for everyone. And since I'm guessing you have no money right now..."

Sneasel glared at the bird pokemon with disdain.

"Fine, what do I have to do?"

Delibird smiled and grabbed something from underneath the counter.

"Here this is a Berry Bag. You can use it to hold the berries you gather. There are labels so you can keep track of which berries you gather. Just bring it by every now and then so I can give you your money."

"Whatever, if I find any I'll pick some. Since I don't want the area that well I can't make any promises."

"Fair, enough. Is there anything else I can do for you?" Delibird asked.

"I doubt it. See you around."

Sneasel grabbed the bag and headed down the road. The end of the path led to a large forest. Sneasel kept walking until he needed to rest of a bit. He jumped up into the tree. He opened up the bag to examine its contents. It was more of a tackle box than a bag. There was a chart on the underside of the lid. Small drawers lined the inside with changeable labels. Sneasel leaned back and stared up at the branches of the tree. Small red berries lined its many growths. Sneasel grabbed one and compared it to the pictures on the list.

"Hmm, looks like a basic berry. OK, I'll put it in here...Damn; it really is too hot around here."

Sneasel leaned his head back against the tree to rest.

"And just where do you think you're going?" a voice came from below. "We're not through with you yet."

"Leave me alone." a different voice said.

Sneasel opened one of his eyes to see what the ruckus was. There was some blue pokemon with a shell and another one that was purple and it had the biggest teeth Sneasel had ever seen. Both of them were taunting another pokemon. It was wearing some sort of mask and carrying what looked like a bone.

"Man, those guys are getting on my nerves." Sneasel said out loud.

"But, we still have a bone to pick with you." The big toothed pokemon said rather nasally.

"Just leave me alone." The masked pokemon said.

"That's not going to happen so why not just take it like a real pokemon."

Sneasel reached up and grabbed a berry. This one was green and hard. It hadn't ripened yet. Sneasel held the berry in his claw. He looked down at the blue squirt and the purple bucktooth pokemon. His eyes narrowed. The berry flew through the air hitting the blue pokemon square on the head.

"Ow, what was that?" The pokemon picks up the unimpeded berry. "Who threw this? Show yourself. Unless you're to scared."

Sneasel jumped down from the tree and landed between the blue and the masked pokemon.

"Huh, who is this?" The bucked tooth pokemon asked.

"Well," Sneasel said. "What do you want?"

"Why did you throw this at me?" The blue pokemon asked.

"You and big tooth over there were getting on my nerves." Sneasel said,

"Hey, don't you know who we are?" The purple pokemon asked.

"I couldn't care less. That noise you two kept making was annoying." Sneasel shrugged.

"What noise?" The blue pokemon asked.

"That noise...your voices." Sneasel said.

"Just go away, I don't need your help." the masked pokemon said.

Sneasel turned around to face the masked pokemon.

"At what point, did you think I was doing this to help you? I already told you the noise these two were making was getting on my nerves." Sneasel said.

"That's it!" the blue pokemon yelled from behind.

A cold breeze flew from the mouth of the little blue pokemon. Sneasels back was soon covered in ice.

"Hah, that's what you get for messing with Squirtle and Rattata." The Rattata said. "Loser."

Sneasel pulled his arms and legs in front of him and then flexed every muscle in his body. The ice shattered and flew off.

"Great, now I feel fine." Sneasel turned around. "Now, what I am going to do to relax?"

Squirtle and Rattata mouths dropped. Rattata took off into the bushes. Squirtle withdrew into his shell. The scarf he was wearing fell off. Sneasel walked over to the shell.

"Imagine that leaving you all alone like that. Such a pal." Sneasel said. "Here, let me help you."

"No, don't." Squirtle pleaded.

Sneasel bent over and whispered into the shell.

"Come on, take it like a real pokemon."

Sneasel picked up the shell in his claws. Like a frisbee Squirtle flew through the air towards the bushes where Rattata was hiding.

"Ahhh! Ow, Uhhhh." 'Thump' Rattata fell unconscious.

"What an annoying pair." Sneasel said. "Hmm, what's this?"

Sneasel picked up the scarf that had fallen from the Squirtle. It was dark blue with a patch that looks like a chunk of ice. The scarf felt cool in his hands.

"That's a frost scarf. Whoever wears it gains an ice abilities. That's why Squirtles Bubble turned into an Icy Wind."

"I could use something like this."

Sneasel affixed the scarf around his neck.

"I usually don't accessorize well but this works."

Sneasel turns around to face the masked pokemon.

"You're a Cubone, right?"

"What of it?"

Sneasel sized up the Cubone "Nothing, well...see ya." Sneasel said.

Sneasel turned around and smiled. Then he jumped into the tree to rest. Letting the recently acquired scarf kept him cool.

"Well, it doesn't look like I'll need to go back to that freezer any time soon."

Sneasel spent the next hour picking berries and exploring the forest. Once he finished he returned to a pond he found in the forest that was near a makeshift path. Sneasel fell asleep in the branches of the tree same tree he had before.

***

"Some body...Somebody please help!"

It was Delibird; he was running through the forest. Squirtle and Rattata came out of the bushes rubbing their heads.

"Huh, what's going on?" Squirtle asked.

"My assistant went into the back of my warehouse to get an item I asked for. But she hasn't come back yet."

"So," Rattata said "It would take her awhile to find anything in that place."

"I asked her for the item yesterday! She knows where every item in the warehouse is. There's no way it would take her this long to find an item. Something terrible must have happened."

"Alright, let's go Rattata." Squirtle commanded.

They all make there way back towards the shop. Cubone walks by the tree where Sneasel had been sleeping on his way to the pond. At the base of the tree there was a small bag. When he opened the bag he found berries, tons of them.

"This must belong to that one pokemon. I doubt he would leave anything of his out in the open like this. Hmmm."

***

A lone pokemon stood at the opening to the warehouse. The pokemon lowered its head and ran into the warehouse. The pokemon quickly made its way to the center of the warehouse. It turned to the left and right. An ear piercing screech erupted from the pokemon and traveled in every direction. A cry softer than any mimes twitched in the pokemons ear. The pokemon rocketed toward the sound. Piles of boxes, crates, and rolls of who knows what seemed as only a blur to the fast pokemon. The pokemon stopped where it suspected the origin of the sound originated. The pokemon scouted the area quickly to discover a Smoochum. The Smoochum had a fever and was unconscious. The pokemon wiped some sweat from its own forehead. It then lifted its head to locate the direction of the exit. They were quite a distance from the entrance. The pokemon took something off from around its neck and tied it around the Smoochum. It then picked up the pokemon and held it in its arms. The pokemon jumped on top of one of the boxes. It made sure that it had a good grip on the Smoochum then it began to run to the exit. The pokemon strained to go faster. Beads of sweat dropped from the pokemon as it made it's way back to the entrance. Slowly the pokemon began to slow down. It just didn't seem to have the strength necessary to make it to the entrance. The pokemon was completely soaked in sweat and panting hard. The warehouses heat would be considered intense even to some fire type pokemon. The pokemon gritted its teeth and forced itself to regain the lost speed. The pokemons speed returns and then increases. Twice as fast, Three times as fast. The pokemon can't even see that which is around him. The only thing that is visible to its eyes is the light that emanates from outside the entrance. The light grows and grows until it finally envelops the pokemon. The pokemon collapsed and rolled into the shelves underneath the counter with a crash so forceful everything in the shop jumped. After it crawled out from under the counter it laid the Smoochum down in the shade of the counter and then ran off.

***

Cubone made it's way towards the shop. Cubone knew the forest well so it took a shortcut and arrived at the shop before the others. Cubone jumped over the counter and peered inside the warehouse.

"Damn, did he?"

"Oooo."

"What the," Cubone turned around. "Oh, it's the assistant. Wait, that scarf. It couldn't be. He would never...would he?"

"Ooooo."

"I'll have to think about that later. First I need to get the assistant to the hospital."

Cubone left a note to let Delibird that his assistant was on her way to the hospital and made its way to the hospital. A few minutes later Delibird, Squirtle, and Rattata return to the shop to find the note.

"What, who could have saved her? We ran back here and no else heard me. I don't get it." Delibird was going crazy over this.

"You two go to the hospital to make sure she's ok. I'm going to scout out the warehouse just in case." Squirtle said.

"Ok," Rattata said.

"Alright." said Delibird

"If she really is ok, come back and get me."

"Right," Rattata said, "See you."

***

(Later that same day)

Sneasel approaches the pond and dives into the cool water.

"Ah, that feels great." Sneasel said lying on his back.

'Thump' something slammed on to Sneasels chest pushing him under the water.

"Uphm," Sneasel grabbed whatever it was that had hit him and swam back up to the surface.

"Huh, it's my berry bag." Sneasel said quizzically.

"I thought you might want that back after your little act of heroism earlier." Cubone said, standing at the edge of the pond.

Sneasel swam over to the edge and climbed out of the pond. Water dripped freely from his soaked fur.

"What are you talking about? I've been collecting berries and relaxing all day."

"Oh, really? Then where's the scarf you picked up from that Squirtle?" Cubone asked.

"I took it off before I took a dip in the pond. I didn't want it to get wet."

"Oh, really then, umm, where is it?"

"What's it to you? If you know something then spill it otherwise stop wasting my time." Sneasel glared at Cubone.

Cubone pulled of the frost scarf that was wrapped around the Smoochum from the shop.

"You know what this is?" Cubone asked, "It was found around the assistant at the shop."

"So? She's a ice type, right? That's nothing unusual."

"Well, there are two problems with that. One, She doesn't wear scarves, and Two, according to Delibird you've never seen her before." Sneasels eyes widened. "So, how do you know, one, that she's a she, and two, that she's an ice type. The answer simple, you were the one who saved her. You wrapped her up in your scarf because she was over heated."

"Hmm, nice story. Let's see. Problem number one, Delibirds assumption is based on the theory that I never returned to the shop while he wasn't there. Problem number two, I, too, am an ice type, and there's no way even with the scarf that I could handle the intense heat of that warehouse in the time frame, that you claim, the rescue took place."

Cubone blinked. Stunned. The knowledge of the intense heat of the warehouse could just be common sense but Delibird said that he asked her to get the item yesterday. There's no way those two could have seen one another.

"So, um when exactly did you get into village?" Cubone asked.

"Not that it's any of your business, but they let me out of the hospital yesterday about mid-day. Why?"

"Delibird asked his assistant to get an item from the back yesterday. He also said he met you a few minutes after she went into the warehouse. So there's no way you could have seen her unless you're the one who rescued her." Cubone said with a slight tone of satisfaction in its voice.

"Why are you so intent on proving that I'm the one who saved the Smoochum?" As soon as the words left his lips Sneasel clamped his claw over is mouth.

"I knew it. It was you." Cubone said with a glee of victory.

"Yeah, I did it." Sneasel said as he grabbed the scarf back from the pokemon. "What of it?"

Cubone looked him right in the eye. "Why?"

"Why, what?"

"Why did you do it? Why did you save her?" Cubone asked.

"That's none of your concern." Sneasel said as he tied the scarf back around his neck and picked up his bag.

"Where are you going?" Cubone asked.

"I'm going to find a place to sleep for the night. You mind?"

"Why don't you spend the night with me?" Cubone asked.

Sneasel snapped around with an obviously confused look on his face. "What?!"

"The Absol that comes to the village sometimes said that there was going to be a terrible storm tonight. If you sleep in the trees you won't last the night."

Sneasel turned his back to Cubone, "What do you care if I die?" He lowered his head.

"I do care, I may not understand why, but you helped me and that Smoochum. So you're not all bad. You may still have an attitude, but you're not heartless." Cubone walked up to Sneasel. "Please, even if it's for only one night, just as a thank
you."

"Fine, if it will shut you up let's go."

Cubone smiled and led the Sneasel to it's home.

***
(In case you've been wondering I've been refering to Cubone with an indescriminate gender because I have yet to decide on a gender. I will decide on one later.)
***

Sneasel followed Cubone to it's home. The skies grew dark with ominous clouds.

"We had better hurry if we want to get there before the rain starts." Cubone said.

"Well, if this is all the faster you can go, we won't make it in time." Sneasel said.

"Well excuuuusssse me. Not all of us can be as fast as you."

"Just sayin,"

"Alright then." Cubone turned around to face the Sneasel.

"What?"

Cubone went around to Sneasels back and climbed on.

"What are you doing?" Sneasel asked.

"You wanted to go faster. So let's go. My place is straight ahead and on top of a cliff and through a small opening."

"Why you! You know what? Forget it hold on. And you had better not tell another soul about this."

"Fine, but we had better hurry. I think I felt a drop." Cubone said.

Sneasel took off in the direction Cubone had pointed slowly gaining speed bit by bit. The cliff came into view, an almost vertical wall with a small opening about midway up its face.

"How the hell do you get up there?" Sneasel asked.

"There's a path on the side I go up."

"Yeah well, at this speed we ain't gonna make the corner."

"What do you mean we're not gonna make the corner?"

"I mean we're not gonna take the senic route. Close your eyes and hold on tight I'm going to accelerate."

Cubone clamps its eyes shut and increases its grasp on Sneasels back. Sneasel closes his eyes for a few moments. Sneasels eyes flash open and narrow to slits. His speed scyrockets. The ground is torn up as Sneasel and Cubone become nothing more than a blur in a straght line towards the cliff. A large explosion as Sneasel began to make his way up the shear face of the cliff towards the opening. After Sneasel cleared the smoke he could see the ledge of the opening approaching. Sneasel began to slow down. He was close he just had to hold out a little longer to reach the ledge.

"Uuuuuaaaaahhhh!" Sneasel yells as the last of his speed disapears.

Cubone opense its eyes. Sneasel has his arms on the ledge and is hanging on for his life.

"What happened?" Cubone asked.

"If you don't mind. Could we talk about this after we get off the side of this cliff?"

"What do I need to do?"

"Ok, first thing, don't look down."

"I live up here like I have a problem with heights."

"Tell me then have you ever been dangling over the side of your home?!"

"Well, no."

"Ok, then, next I need you to climb over me and onto the ledge then you need to help pull me the rest of the way up."

"Ok, I'll try."

Cubone slowly climbed over Sneasels back. Sneasel felt Cubones back claws on his shoulder. Sneasel pushed when Cubone jumped and Cubone successfully made it to the ledge.

"Ok, now help me before the rain comes and I lose my grip." Sneasel said reajusting his grip on the ledge.

"Ok, but you owe me."

"What?!, fine whatever just hurry!" Sneasel yelled as his grip slipped even farther.

Cubone grabed Sneasels wrists and began to pull. Slowly Sneasel makes his way over the edge to the safety of the ledge. Sneasel and Cubone lye on their backs panting heavily with their eyes closed. A large drop of rain fell and hit Sneasel square on the stone in the middle of his forehead.

"Looks like the rain is starting." Sneasel said.

"Yeah, let's get inside."

Sneasel and Cubone made there way inside as rain fell from the sky. The ground grew quickly soaked as the large drops splashed on to the cliff. After a few minutes neither of them could see the edge of the cliff. The inside of the cave was furnished with the necessities a bed, a small kitchen, a cabinet, etc.

"I won't even bother asking how you got all of this stuff up here."

"You like it? It took awhile to get everything together but it was worth it."

Sneasel felt a slight tinge in his stomach. He took off his berry bag and opened it up. He opened the drawer that had the most berries in it and began to eat some. 'Gurggle, gurggle'

"What's that sound?" Sneasel asked.

"I didn't have a chance to buy supplies since the store was closed today, and I haven't eaten lately so..."

"Come on then, I'm not gonna listen to your gut throughout this storm."

"Oh, ok." Cubone said walked over and began to eat some of the berries.

"Did Absol happen to mention how long this storm was going to last?"

"He didn't say. He only said that it was going to get bad fast."

"I see."

"Why do you ask?"

"Since you have no food here our only source of nourishment are these berries, until the storm lets up we should ration how much we eat." Sneasel said,

"Uh, right" Cubone said.

Sneasel stood up and walked over to the opening of the cave and stared out at the rain. Cubone finished the berry it was eating and closed the bag. Cubone walked over to Sneasel.

"Is something wrong?" Cubone asked.

"No."

Cubone stared at Sneasel, his apethetic face revealing no hint of emotion. Cubone looked out at the rain standing there in silence with Sneasel.

"Why?" Sneasel asked.

"Why, what?"

"Why did you invite me here?"

"I told you that already."

"True, but you know just as well as I do that I could have gone back to the hospital."

"Well, if that's the case why don't you go there now?!"

"It's pooring down rain outside or haven't you noticed?!"

"Well, if that's the way you want to be just leave! It's not like you'd be the first!"

Sneasels eyes widened and then softened.

"So that's it, you don't want to be alone?"

"No, it's nothing like that!" Cubone exclaimed.

"Even if it wasn't, few no the pain of being alone." Sneasel looked down, "That hell...that unbearable pain."

"Wondering if you're needed by anyone, if you even have a purpose, and if you do what that purpose is." Cubone finished Sneasels sentiment.

"Look, Sneasel I'm sorry..it's just that you seem so strong and I'm just a Cubone."

"Me? Strong? Yeah, right."

"It's true, the way you scared off Squirtle and Rattata, how you saved Smoochum, and just a few minutes ago when you ran up the side of this cliff. I don't think any other pokemon in the entire village could have made it up that far."

"That Squirtle and Rattata were cowards, everything you could have been done better."

"But Agility is a high level move. So you have to be a high level too right?"

"No, I learn moves based on necessity not level. I learned Agility in the warehouse because if I didn't I would be passed out and dieing." Sneasel said turning to look at the rain once again.

"That's amazing!"

"Tell that to those in my original village."

"What are you talking about?"

"It's nothing"

"You owe me, so spill it."

Sneasel took a deep breathe turned to look at Cubone then back at the rain."In my original village, your strength was determined by which moves you knew. Since as you said, pokemon can only learn moves by attaining the prequisite level, I was originally thought of as one of the strongest pokemon in the entire village. Eventually someone challenged me. He was a lower level than I supposedly was. In reality he was ten or more levels higher than I was. I knew there was no way I could beat him. As the battle progressed the difference in our levels grew aparrent, to everyone. After I was defeated it was revealed to everyone in the village that the one rule that determined your strength, your place in the village, that one rule! didn't, couldn't apply to me. I became an outcast. No one would so much as offer a passing glance. Solitude and hate became my only companions. I used what I had to get as far as I could. Eventually I figured out how to take down those who were at a higher level than I was by out smarting them rather than overpowering them. Eventually I challenged the pokemon that had challenged me originally but, they wouldn't allow it. I went to the outskirts of the village to think. I heard a loud sound and the next thing I knew I was in the hospital." Sneasel continued to stare out at the rain.

"What happened to cause the loud sound?"

"I don't know."

"Well, atleast you have a reason." Cubone said looking down at the floor, "I'm just weak and pathetic."

"Weak and pathetic? Weren't you the one who carried Smoochum all the way to the hospital? Weren't you the one who managed to figure out that I'm the one who rescued her?" Sneasel asked.

"That was nothing though?"

"Tell that to the Smoochum you rescued." Cubones eyes widened.

Cubone walked to the middle of the entrance area of the cave. Sneasel turned his back to the rain to face Cubone.

"But, I guess you're right, after all anyone could have saved the Smoochum, or put two and two together and come up with me. I guess you really are just a weak,"

"Shut up."

"pathetic,"

"Shut up!"

"sorry excuse of a pokemon."

"I SAID SHUT UP!!!"

Cubone was enraged, it took up it's bone and rushed at Sneasel. Cubone raised it's club up it brought it down diagonally across Sneasels head. Sneasel flew spinning out into the rain. He slammed onto the ground and slid across the ledge stopping just short of of the edge. Sneasel winced at the blow and began to stand up. He winced again the pain in his gut from the landslide was still present. Chanseys words echo'd in his head. Sneasel standing now made his way back into the entrance of Cubones place. Sneasel stood in the entrance dripping water and mud. Cubone lowered his head and charged at Sneasel. Sneasel smiled.

"Still think you're weak?"

Cubone lost a step and fliped head over heals until it was lying on the ground at the base of Sneasels feat.

"What?"

"You just knocked me from this spot with enough force for me to land on the edge of the ledge out there." Cubone stared at him and blinked. "Just now you were ready to attack me again. If you hadn't triped I would probably be falling to my death right now. So I'll ask you again, Do you still think you're weak?"

Cubone stared at Sneasel, 'Had he really planned this whole thing?' Sneasel bent down and picked up Cubone.

"Well?"

"Let's get you cleaned up...One more thing," Cubone said as it took over supporting Sneasels weight.

"yeah?"

"We're even."

Sneasel smiled as he let himself be carried further into the house.

"Are you ok?" Cubone asked.

"Well, let's see you just slapped me upside the head with a bone, I still have a unhealed wound from the landslide, and I'm tired as hell not just physically but mentally as well from using Agility. Other than that I'm fine. Thanks for asking." Sneasel said.

"Sorry, it's just that,"

"Don't worry about it, I'll be fine in a few days or so."

Sneasel stumbled and fell towards the floor shivering. His scarf had begun to turn the water around the scarf and Sneasels neck into ice. Cubone caught him before he hit the ground.

"Sneasel, what's wrong?"

"C-c-co-old-d, t-t-toooo c-c-c-o-o-olllld-d-d."

"To cold? Oh, There's ice around your neck! The scarf! Uh, uh, hold on ok! Hold on."

"Cubone,"

"Yes?"

"please stop screaming in my ear."

"Sorry"

Cubone untied the scarf with some help from the bone. Cubone ran off to the closet and pulled out a few blankets along with other random towels and scraps of cloth that fell to the floor. Cubone wrapped the blankets around Sneasel as best he could.

"OK, what now?"

Cubones head shot up as he ran to the bathroom and started to run a bath. Running back into the entrance Sneasel had passed out to exhaustion. Cubone picked him up and half carried half drug the unconscious pokemon into the bathroom. Cubone checked the temperature of the water. It was warm but not hot.

"Cold or not he's still an ice type." Cubone reassured itself.

Cubone wasn't strong enough to lift Sneasel over the edge of the tub so it spread some towels out across the floor and prepared to give Sneasel a sponge bath. Cubone dipped a washcloth into the water and gave it a few squeezes to get it thouroughly wet. Cubone then squoze some of the water out of the cloth. Taking a deep breath Cubone grapped Sneasels claw and began to wipe it from the shoulder down to the elbow then off the claw. Still nervous, Cubone wiped off Sneasels head and arms, being careful around the spot where Cubone had hit him. Cubone began to wash off Sneasels back and tails doing the best it could to get him clean. Manuver its way around in the small bathroom Cubone rinsed out the washcloth again and began to wash Sneasels chest pushing the water down. Cubone stared at the stone in Sneasels chest. It seemed to be the same as the one on his forhead. Cubone had never seen a Sneasel before so it didn't strike it as odd that the stones were purple and and somewhat clear. Cubone touched the stone on Sneasels chest. It was cool to the touch even after being rinsed in the warm water and washed. It was a somewhat deeper cool than Cubone had ever felt before. Cubone shook its head and continued to wash Sneasels chest slowly making its way down to the stomach. Cubone switched gears and washed Sneasels feet, being careful of the scratches that had appeared, and up Sneasels legs. Cubone rinsed the washcloth again and taking another deep breath, as well as blushing with great entinsity, began to wash Sneasels inner thighs. Slowly Cubone made it's way to Sneasels sheath. Cubone carefully washed all around and underneath the sheath. Still blushing Cubone rinsed the washcloth. When Cubone turned to face Sneasel again the tip of Sneasels penis had began to poke up. Cubone turned around blushing so much it seemed as if Cubone was a cherry bomb about to go off. Sucking in a breath Cubone forced itself to calm down. It turned around again the tip still seeming to stare at Cubone. Cubone reached out with the washcloth and began to wash Sneasels balls. With each nudge Sneasels tip slowly grew and came out of it's sheath. Cubone breathing hard washes Sneasels sheath with a single stroke, which was enough to allow Sneasels member to come the rest of the way out. Cubone stared at Sneasels member for a full two minutes blinking only sparingly. It was a good 4 1/2 inches and reder than Cubones face. Cubone gulped down some air and tossed the washcloth back into the tub and began to wrap Sneasel back up in some dry towels. With a renewed determination Cubone carried Sneasel into its bedroom and laid him on the bed. He began to rub Sneasel down with the towels to dry him off. Cubone took off the towels and bandaged Sneasel up as best it could. Sneasels feet were wrapped along with part of his head a few more bandages were wrapped around his chest just in case.

"With any luck he'll be fine now." Cubone said panting.

The image of Sneasels member flashed in Cubones mind.

"No, he's a guest, I couldn't." Cubone shook its head.

Cubone walked into the bathroom and picked up all of the towels and blankets that had been dragged in and took them to the laundry room. Returning to the bathroom Cubone picked up the washcloth and rinsed it out again. Cubone sat down on the toilet and stared at the cloth for awhile. The image of Sneasels member crept back into Cubones head. Cubone put it's head down.

"He's insensitive, self-serving, and a jerk. And I still can't get him out of my head. Why...Why do I...?" Cubone put its hand inbetween its legs and began to rub. The rubbing caused Cubone to become more and more aroused. Cubone picked up her bone. Cubone pushed her bone inside her. Gasping and moaning she slowly began to pump it in and out. The sensation and pleasure increased with every motion. Letting her fantasy take control. The walls of her clit began to tighten around the bone. The overwhelming pleasure pushed her over the edge causing her to reach orgasm. She cleaned her self off and emptied the tub out and put the wash cloth in the laundry room. Cubone walked back into the bedroom after recomposing herself. She didn't have a spare bed so she crawled into the bed. Sneasel was still asleep on top of the sheets. Cubone faced away from Sneasel.

"Good night, Sneasel."

Whether by coinsidence or otherwise Sneasel murmured in his sleep. Cubone pulled the covers over her shoulders and closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

(Yes, I made Cubone a female, I thought it over and this provided more of a story line for later on. Until next time.)
