Sneasel pulled down his hood and stared the Pokemon in the eye.

"Hello,...Weavile."

Weavile smiled, "Oh, come on, we're still family aren't we, brother?"

"No, I have forsaken all ties I had with this village and everyone in it, including you."

Weavile sneered, "Fine, you be that way. You deserved to be the outcast of our people, just as you were for this village."

"I don't have time for this, we're leaving. If you're going to try something then go ahead."

"A lot has changed since you left."

"That is none of my concern. Now, get out of our way."

"But, you know who is so eager to meet you."

"Good for him."

Sneasel began to move, his companion still cloaked, pushing past Weavile. Weavile grabbed Sneasels arm. Sneasel glared at Weavile.

"Let go of me...now."

"We have something to do first and you're not leaving until you say hello to our leader."

'Leader? What happened to the others?' "If he's so desperate to meet me, then let him find me. I have better things to do than waste my time with him or you."

"Mmmmm!!"

Sneasel head snapped around. A Pokemon had its hands restricting Cubone. Sneasels head lowered, and then he vanished. Sneasel was directly behind the Pokemon, his claw at the pokemons throat.

"I will only tell you this once, let her go."

"Oh, he will." Weavile said from behind Sneasel. "But, you have to agree to meet with our leader first, and of course we have something else to take care of."

"Fine, I'll meet with him. Now let her go," Sneasel said staring at the Pokemon. "unless you want your next breathe to be through a tube."

The Pokemon released Cubone and walked off. Cubone put down her hood.

"Sneasel?" Cubone asked, a little worried.

Reaching out to touch him.

Sneasel let his arms fall as he looked away from Cubones gaze. "Leave."

"What?"

"Leave now."

"But,"

"I said leave!" Sneasel glared at Cubone with such intensity that she actually began to tear.

Cubone ran out of the village crying. Weavile stood behind him smiling.

"Way to go. I knew you had it in you."

"If anyone lays a hand on her, I'll!"

"I know, don't worry. But first, we have something to take care of."

Sneasel looked straight ahead without a shred of apparent emotion. "Just do it."

"Very well."

Weavile walked around to Sneasels front. Weavile slashed the stone on Sneasels forehead and chest. An apparent scar now marred the surface of both stones. Sneasel flinched slightly with both attacks but never once faltered.

"You are no longer considered a Pokemon in the eyes of our people."

Sneasel just continued to stare not saying a word. Weavile led Sneasel toward the main part of the village where the leader was. Neither of them said anything. Weavile stepped to the side of an opening into a Coliseum. Sneasel walked passed him. Weavile followed Sneasel and sealed the opening behind him. The two walked toward the center Weavile stopped short of the entrance to the main part of the Coliseum. Sneasel continued to make his way toward the center.

"Ah! It's so good to see you again!" A voice called from the main part of the arena where the leaders sat.

Sneasel looked up; of the three chairs that were originally there only one remained. Xatu was standing beside the leader.

"What do you want...Tyranitar?"

"Can't two old friends say hi?"

'What the hell does he want?' Sneasel looked up Tyranitar was smiling wearing a pair of dark sunglasses, beside him Xatu stood motionless. 'Xatu!'

'Yes?'

'The last time I say you, you were still a Natu, correct?'

'Correct, I evolved a week ago and have been serving our leader ever since.'

'What happened to Machamp and Gengar?'

'Tyranitar convinced them that they were no longer necessary since they always contradicted one another.'

'I suppose he left out that without them to keep him in check, he could do anything he wanted.'

'He didn't bring that up, no.'

'What does he really want with me?'

'I can't say.'

'Can't or won't?'

'He too is a Dark type like yourself. I cannot read him either.'

'Fair enough.' Sneasel closed his eyes and looked down.

Tyranitar cocked his head to one side. "What's the matter, not what you were expecting?"

Sneasel raised his head. "What do you want? I have better things to do than waste my time with a coward."

"I am no coward!"

"Then explain to me why you vetoed my challenge to you."

"I was for it the other two were against it."

"That's a lie. I was in that council for two and a half years not once did Machamp and Gengar agree on a single subject. This means that you were the deciding vote in my challenge. You had nothing to gain, but everything to lose. If I lost I would continue being an outcast and you would be stronger just as they thought. But, if you lost..."

"That's enough!"

"Fine, I don't care about that anymore anyways. Now, what do you want?"

"A fight."

"Not interested."

"I knew you would love the...wait! What?!"

"I said, no."

"I am your leader. You will obey me!"

"You are no leader of mine. I have forsaken all bonds that tie me to this village. You have no power over me."

"You will fight me or you will never make it out of this village alive!"

"Tisk, tisk. Is that anyway for a leader to behave?" Sneasel said wagging one of his claws back and forth, "Besides, only Weavile could possibly keep up with my speed, not to mention that the only Pokemon who know the terrain around the village better than I do are the psychic ones, and they can't track me. So in reality you couldn't catch me if you wanted to."

Tyranitar glared at Sneasel, about to shout out another series of threats.

"But, I guess that if it means that much to you, I'll fight you. But, I want something in return."

"How, about your life?"

"No, nothing like that, I just want to be known as the Pokemon who kicked your ass. You can keep your title and all that goes with it. I just want some bragging rights."

"You'll never beat me; you couldn't then and can't now."

"Then why do you want to fight me so much?...Not that it matters. So are we gonna fight or what?"

Tyranitar smiled and jumped down from his platform. He took a few steps forward and cracked his neck. Sneasel criss-crossed his claws and stretched cracking them.

"Come on then!" They both yelled at once.

***

On a small cliff outside of the village Cubone was crying. Her cloak and hood lay loose around her shoulders.

'Sniff' 'Sniff' "Why???...Why???"

"Because he loves you."

Cubones head snapped up tears still flowing from her face.

"What?" Cubone looked up to see Absol standing over her.

"That village isn't safe. Even those who live there are afraid. Sneasel knows that, he knows what that village is like."

"So,'Sniff'...I can handle myself."

"It's not that simple."

"What do you mean?"

"A fight in that village is more than just a fight. It is a challenge for rank and position and immediately after that whoever is higher rank than you are can challenge you. If you refuse to fight you lose and then anyone of lower rank can challenge you. It can be a never ending cycle."

"Then why did he stay?"

"Because no matter whom he fights he'll always be seen as the weakest pokemon in the village. So basically he can challenge anyone and win or lose he'll still be the weakest. Fighting him will prove nothing, win or lose. But, you're a stranger, if you win well you'd definitely be caught in the endless loop of battles."

"So, he did it to protect me?"

"Yes."

Cubone wrapped her arms around Absol.

"Thank you." Cubone cried into Absols fur. "But he could be in danger."

"Would you like to see?"

"Huh?"

"Come on."

Absol led Cubone across a series of cliffs and narrow paths till they reached a ridge that overlooked the arena of the village.

"Now, no matter what happens you have to promise me that you won't try to save him."

"Okay, I promise."

The two of them peered over the edge and spotted Sneasel and Tyranitar standing in the middle of the arena.

"What's going on?"

"It looks like Sneasel is fighting the leader. Do you think he'll be okay?"

"Yes, he'll be fine. He told me once he challenged him before because he figured out a way to beat him."

"But, that was a long time ago, there's no way to tell how strong the leader is now."

"Sneasel will win,...I believe in that."

"Even though you were cursing him a few moments earlier?"

"I was cursing him for being a jerk, not for being weak."

***

Back in the arena Sneasel and Tyranitar glare at each other in anticipation. Several psychic pokemon surround them and begin to form a barrier dome around them.

"What's with them?" Sneasel asked.

"There just making sure no one that interferes."

"Right, we wouldn't want that now would we?"

"What's that?!" Tyranitar yelled pointing behind Sneasel.

"Like I'm going to fall for that. Come on Tyranitar, you're not the only Dark type here." Sneasel shot off straight towards Tyranitar.

Tyranitar opened his mouth and fired off a Hyperbeam straight at Sneasel. Right before the beam made contact Sneasel vanished. Tyranitar turned his head to the side, smiling.

"Come on, a Faint Attack?"

"Not exactly." Sneasel appeared above Tyranitars back and blew a Blizzard down. Ice formed down Tyranitars back and tail.

"Come on an Ice attack? I'ma Rock-Dark type for cryin out loud and you'd attack me with frozen water?"

"There's more to a fight than just power or type powers."

"Oh, really? Then explain this."

Tyranitar flexed and twisted his body around in every direction. The ice that had formed shattered and flew off. Next Tyranitar smiled and slammed one of his fists into Sneasels chest. Sending Sneasel up a few feet.

"That barely tickled." Tyranitar taunted.

"Hey! Tyranitar!"

"What?"

"You missed a spot."

"Huh?"

Sneasel fell down from the air and executed a Slash. A chunk of ice that had formed around the end of Tyranitars tail split into two equal halves and Tyranitars tail with it.

"AAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

Sneasel jumped back a few feet. "What's a matter? I thought you were a tough Rock-Dark type."

"Shut up! You just got lucky!"

"Maybe, Maybe not. But right now, I have the upper hand."

"Ahhh!" Tyranitar lifted his tail up and slammed it on the ground again. A wave of energy shook the ground shaking the ground with a giant Earthquake.

"Hey, that move's forbidden due to its potentially dangerous effect on the village."

"Was forbidden, more things have changed than you think."

"You...It was you who caused the landslide...It was all your fault."

"And if it was?"

"Well, if it was you then I would have something important to tell you."

"And what would that be?"

"Thank you."

"Huh?"

"You got me out of this crap-hole. So, thank you."

"What?"

"Leaving this place was the best thing that could have happened to me."

"You..."

Sneasel just smiled.

"I'll kill you!!"

Sneasel just kept smiling.

"Hey, Tyranitar. Do you know what your biggest problem is?"

Tyranitar fired off another Hyperbeam at Sneasel. The attack flew straight as an arrow towards Sneasels head.

"Your temper is too short," Sneasel took a step forward. "You waste too much energy," another step. "And you're just too damn slow." Sneasel cocked his head to the side as the Hyperbeam flew right past him and dispelled into the barrier.

Sneasel ran full tilt at Tyranitar.

"Hey! You mind if I try an idea I just got?"

"Gnnnn"

Sneasel took a deep breath and then vanished. Tyranitar turned his head and followed as Sneasel executed Faint Attack after Faint Attack. Tyranitar didn't notice that Sneasel was doing more than just giving his neck a work out. Bit-by-bit Tyranitars body was being covered in ice. Soon everything but his head had a full 4 layers of ice on him. Sneasel stopped kneeling in front of Tyranitar, breathing heavily.

"What's a matter worn out already, well I'm...I'm."

"You're an ice block." Sneasel said standing back up. Sneasel walked up to Tyranitar.

The block of ice shook violently but did not break. "I'm stuck!"

"That's the idea." Sneasel jumped up and snatched Tyranitars sunglasses off of his face. "You can't move your only other attack that you could possibly perform is Hyperbeam, and I can dodge that easily. Even if you do fire them off you'll do nothing more than waste your ammo. In short," Sneasel put the sunglasses on. "you lose, I win, and I'm outta here."

Sneasel turned and began to walk away towards where Weavile had led him in to the arena.

"Don't you walk away from me! This isn't over!"

Sneasel raised his claw in the air as he passed through the barrier without hesitation. He put his claw back down and walked out of the village. Every pokemon that he passed glared at him with disdain. Sneasel just kept walking towards the exit that led towards the waterfall.

'I hope she's alright.'

***

"That was clever." Absol said.

"I told you he'd win." Cubone said in a kind of I told you so tone.

Absol raised an eyebrow at Cubone and smiled. "That you did, that you did."

"Let's go meet him."

"You go ahead, it's probably best if he didn't know I was around."

"Okaaayyyy?" Cubone said not really understanding.

She climbed down from the cliff the way she and Absol had come up. Cubone made her way down to the edge of the village. She sat on a rock waiting for Sneasel when she got an idea. She put her face in her hands and waited.

***

Sneasel left his hood down. With his new sunglasses the sun didn't bother his eyes this unusually bright day. Sneasel spied Cubone sitting on a rock with her head in her hands. Sneasel walked over and sat with his back to hers on the rock.

"Cubone, I'm sorry..." There was no response. "It's just I know what happens to strangers in that village and I didn't want to see that happen to you. It doesn't matter what I do in that village. I couldn't let them know you mean something to me; otherwise they would have used you against me. And I don't want you to be in that kind of position. I understand if your upset and I'm sorry, but it was the only thing I could think of...I know I can be difficult to understand, I don't know who I am half the time. But, if you can forgive me, I'll try my hardest to be the real me, as often as I can, for as long as I can. I know that I love you and that I like being around you, but if me being around hurts you then I don't want to be around you. I guess I just want you to be happy, no matter what it means for me."

"Sneasel?" Cubone said in a soft voice.

Sneasel turned around and right into the point of Cubones bone.

"Hey!" Sneasel exclaimed rubbing his cheek, "What was that for?"

"That was for making me cry." Cubone glared at him with an upset look on her face. Then she turned around and gave Sneasel a hug. "And this is thank you."

Sneasel stared at Cubone.

"I saw what you did," Cubone said.

Sneasels head snapped up. "You did? You saw everything? But how?"

"There was a ledge overlooking the arena. I watched you beat up that big tough Tyranitar."

Sneasel looked over at Cubone. "I couldn't get out of it."

"Well, I've gotta say...I was impressed."

"Really?"

"MmmHmm, don't worry about it too much. You explained everything, and I understand. A little less enthusiasm with the glare would have been appreciated."

Sneasel smirked and leaned into Cubones chest.

"How do you feel?" Cubone asked.

"I couldn't use Blizzard or Faint Attack again if I wanted two."

"Do you need to rest?"

"Probably, but I'll be fine provided Absol keeps any pursuers at bay."

"How did you?..."

"Oh, come on." Sneasel leaned his head back to see Cubones face. "He's good, but I don't care who you are if you follow me for to long I'm gonna figure it out."

Cubone rested her head on Sneasels. Cubone pulled her head back up and looked down at Sneasels forehead.

"What happened?"

"Huh?"

"Your stone has a cut through it."

"It's nothing."

"Nothing? I saw your battle with Tyranitar he only landed one strike, and this looks more like a slash than a crush."

"It happened before that. It's just a result of a choice I made. Nothing to worry about now." Sneasel looked up at her and smiled.

Cubone smiled down at him. "So, what do you want to do?"

"The waterfall is just a few hours away, let's at least finish going that far. We can decide what we want to do once we get there."

"Yeah, by the way I like your new sunglasses."

Both of them stood up and prepared to take off. Cubone was getting ready to put her head back up.

"You shouldn't need to wear that anymore; unless you want to. They'll be spending the next couple of hours chipping their leader out of his ice prison."

"Okay,"

"Oh, and Cubone there's one more thing."

"What?" Cubone asked turning around.

Sneasel turned his head to the side and brought his mouth up to meet hers. Cubones eyes widened slightly and then closed. Sneasel pulled back and the two of them smiled at one another.

"Ready to go?" Sneasel asked.

"Yeah, let's go."

The two of them made their way down the path towards the waterfall. The echo of chipping ice and swearing reverbed slightly in their ears. 'Well, I'm glad I didn't finish him off. I just hope he stays away for a while.'

***

Absol stood atop a cliff and watched the two of them walk off towards the waterfall. He turned his attention back to the arena where Tyranitar was cursing loudly and shouting orders left and right. Absol smiled to himself 'That really was a clever move, but he'll be out by night fall easy.' Absol lied down and enjoyed the show.

***

Cubone and Sneasel arrived at the waterfall in an hour or so.

"We made good time." Cubone said.

"Yeah, and I feel better already." Sneasel said, "So,..."

"So?"

"The map? I've done my job. I got you here."

"Oh, yeah, hold on."

Cubone pulled out the map and took a look at it.

"Okay we've got the map."

"What about our path?"

"Path?"

"Yeah, the shortest distance between the entrance and our destination."

"Oh, um let's see if we..." Cubone began to form the path in her head making sure se didn't forget any of it. "Okay, I got it let's go."

'That was fast.' Sneasel thought to himself as the both of them made there way into the cave. Sneasel removed his glasses. They would be a bit much in the darkness of the cave. Cubone pulled out a torch and lit it. It looked just like one would expect the back of a waterfall to look like. Though somewhat hollowed out there was no apparent opening.

"Um,...Maybe this isn't the cave after all."

Cubone walked to the back of the cave and rapped it with her bone. She smiled as she slammed her bone into the rock. Bits of rock and shrapnel flew in every direction as wall crumbled away. Sneasel stared at the wall in pure shock the only hint of movement was the twitching of his right lower eyelid.

Cubone looked over her shoulder, "Shall we?"

Sneasel shook his head back and forth and jogged up to the side of the entrance to the cave. "After you." He said with a bow.

The tunnel was dank but cool. The air was stale and moldy. The two pokemon made there way through the labyrinth of corridors and corners. The occasional trap kept them on their toes. With the first trap the floor gave way to reveal a rushing river no doubt diverged from the waterfall above. The second trap the stairs they were climbing turned into a slide. Sneasels quickly grabbed Cubone on both occasions and bounced off the walls to make there way to the other side. The third trap though gave Cubone a chance to repay Sneasel for the first two as the room they entered began to close in on them. Cubone reduced one of the sides to rubble, after a few well placed blows, which revealed a door out of there. 'She could probably stand a better chance than me against Tyranitar is she nailed him like that.' Sneasel thought to himself as he watched Cubone discern the path to the next area in what they had dubbed "The Maze of Fun" The door slid to the side. Cubone cautiously stuck her head into the room. When she turned around to face Sneasel her eyes were gleaming brighter than the torch. Sneasel stared at her somewhat confused, but after looking past her into the room Sneasel saw exactly why Cubones eyes were so bright. In the room were books. Hundreds of them, all different shapes and sizes. Each with its own layer of dust covering it. Cubone stared at Sneasel expectantly. Sneasel shook his head and smiled.

"Go ahead. Just be careful with that torch."

Cubone screamed like a little school girl and disappeared into the room marveling over the tombs of knowledge that awaited her. Cubone stood in the middle of the room staring at all of the books marveling and reflecting on all that she had had to do to make her dream come true. Sneasel leaned against the inside of the door watching Cubone smiling to himself. On a pedestal a little farther in the back there was a book. Cubone hesitantly walked over to it. She stared at wondering what to do. She looked up at Sneasel who had been watching her. Sneasel motioned behind her. She turned around to see a painting of the room. From what she could tell the ledge that surrounded the room could be lit by lighting the basin at the base of the painting. Cubone let her torch lightly touch the inside of the basin. In a flash of light a fire was burning inside the basin. Cubone and Sneasel both watched in awe as the fire scaled the wall and surrounded the library in a wall of light. The side of the room, where no bookshelf, was pulled back to reveal another passage out. At the same time however the doorway where Sneasel was standing slid in front of the opening and pushed him out.

"CUBONE!! CUBONE!! WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

"Sneasel?! It's okay this opening leads to the top of the waterfall I'm sure of it! Just head back the way we came and meet me up there, okay?!"

"ARE YOU SURE?!"

"Just trust me, okay!"

"Alright I'll meet you at the top!"

Sneasel took off at full speed running through the maze of corridors. He had been smart enough to mark there path with a scratch mark just incase they got lost. Sneasel flew out of the opening and out the side of the waterfall. Sneasel stuttered to a stop a good distance away from the face of the side of the waterfall. It was just a tad higher than Cubones house. Sneasel suddenly got a bad feeling. He got that feeling any time he was being watched. 'Absol? No, this is different.' Sneasel brushed it off and ran full tilt at the face of the cliff. There was a slight incline leading to the face of the cliff which made the transition a tad easier for Sneasel. Right before he hit it he sped up and let the full effect of Agility take over as he tore the cliff a new one. Sneasel flew over the top and landed easily on his feet. The feeling he had earlier returned as he realized who had been watching him and that he was standing about 20 feet in front of him.

"Hello, Sneasel. I hope you don't mind me stopping by but after that cold shoulder, I just had to. You understand don't you?"

***

('Rubs eyes' Okay, well I thought it over and the story is progressing somewhat faster than expected. So instead of just stopping here and making you wait until I finish part 5. I've decided to finish everything in part 4. Enjoy.)

***

"I don't have time for you right now Tyranitar."

Tyranitar stood with Xatu both looking at Sneasel.

"Aww, now is that any way to treat an old friend?"

"We've been through this already. So whatever it is you can forget it. I beat you once and I can do it again."

"True you won the battle in the arena." Tyranitar made the end of his tail visible to Sneasel. "I have the scare to prove it. But, this isn't about that."

"Well, whatever it is I don't care." Sneasel took a few steps toward where he'd calculated the entrance to be.

Tyranitar smiled, "She's down there isn't she?"

Sneasels eyes flashed. "That is none of your concern."

"True, but I still have a gift for her."

"Shove it."

"As you wish." Tyranitar said.

Tyranitar lifted his tail and brought it down on the cliff. Sneasel stared in horror as he fell down. He could hear the rocks falling inside the cave. When the rumbling had stopped Sneasel ran over to where the entrance was.

"Cubone!!!" Sneasel began to dig frantically with his claws.

Sneasels cloak was in his way so it got cut off along with anything else he had on including his frost scarf.

"Cubone!!!!"

Sneasels claw hit something. Sneasel dug even faster what was left of his Agility went towards uncovering this object. It was white and it had two bumps. Sneasel recognized it as Cubones bone. Sneasel continued to dig in hopes to find Cubone still intact holding on to the bone. Sneasel pulled on the bone and it came free but there was no sign of Cubone. Sneasel held the bone in his hand staring at it.

"Cubone?..." His voice trailed off as tears began to fall like shards of ice from his eyes.

"Cubone?..." A mocking voice came from behind him. "Oh, I'm sorry did I do that? How clumsy of me. I guess I was just to slow."

Sneasel didn't hear him though. He was lost in his thoughts. Xatu watched him as found that he could read his mind. 'He lowered his defenses?' Xatu continued to watch and listen as Sneasel sorted out what was left for him. Eventually even the voice in his head grew quite. Silence. Xatu had yet to meet a pokemon who was capable of thinking of nothing. There were some who didn't take the time to think but this was different. This was scary. Meanwhile Tyranitar continued to taunt and make fun of Cubone. Xatu felt the presence of the other voice before he heard it. This voice, Xatu had read the mind of many an evil and desperate person but they were saviors of the world compared to what the voice was saying. Xatu turned his head blocking off Sneasels mind from his. Tyranitar stopped his taunting and looked over at Xatu.

"What is it?"

'That's not Sneasel.' Was the only thing Xatu could manage to transmit.

"What?"

Tyranitars attention was diverted as he turned to see Sneasel standing up and facing him. There was something different about him now. It was though someone or something else had control over him. As Sneasel opened his eyes and stared, Tyranitar could swear even his eyes were different. They were. They were completely black.

"What the hell?"

Sneasel took off without warning straight at Tyranitar. Tyranitar watched as Sneasel attacked him. Sneasel could do little more than slash which did little to nothing to the dark type but that didn't stop Sneasel. Tyranitar watched as Sneasel continued to attack him relentlessly. Sneasel appeared next to Tyranitars ear.

"I'm gonna tell you a secret." Sneasel said in a voice that seemed to echo in the air itself. "EEEEEEE!!!!"

Sneasel let out a powerful Screech right by Tyranitars ear. Tyranitar spun around and made a solid blow against Sneasel throwing him thirty feet or so, just shy of the waterfall. Tyranitar reached up and covered his ear. Sneasel stood back up and resumed his attack as though he had never been hit. Tyranitar watched as Sneasel just continued to attack. Tyranitar swiped Sneasels feet out from under him. Sneasel hit the ground with a thud and bounced slightly. Tyranitar turned his back to Sneasel and slammed his tail onto Sneasels chest. Sneasel coughed as a stream of blood flew from his mouth. Tyranitar his head and saw Sneasel lying unconscious on the ground, the shock wave from the Earthquake left Sneasel in the middle of the crater that was at least a foot deep. Tyranitar walked away from Sneasels body leaving him for dead. Xatu followed him to the edge of the cliff, and then turned around. Tyranitar stopped as well, turning around Tyranitar watched as Sneasel stood up one claw limp at his side the other clutching his chest.

"Impossible." Tyranitar said, "There's no way."

"She kept it inside...Around her its voice disappeared. I longed for that voice to be silent for so long. That terrible voice. And you..." Sneasel said staring at Tyranitar. "You took her away, and it came back."

"What are you talking about?"

"For the second time in my entire life I think I'll listen to it. It might not make me feel any better, but it'll go away for a while and I need that silence right now."

"What?"

"I'm going to make sure you can't hurt me ever again."

"I'd like to see that, the only thing you can do now is run really fast."

"You don't remember, do you?"

"Remember what?"

"What makes me so different?"

"Yeah, you don't learn moves by leveling up so what?"

"That's only part of it...I learn moves 'Twinge' by necessity. And that little battle was just what I needed."

"What are you talking about?"

"Just what I said earlier, I'm going to make sure you never hurt me ever again."

Sneasels body began to glow.

"What's going on?"

'It appears he's either evolving or charging up an incredibly powerful attack.' Xatu said.

"What attack of his could affect me?"

'Well Metal Claw is a rare move known among the strongest of the Sneasels and Weaviles.'

"Metal Claw?"

"Hey! Tyranitar!"

Tyranitar stared at Sneasel as the glowing became focused to a single arm. The glowing subsided and Sneasels one working arm was now a well polished silver color.

"Let's not get to hasty now."

Xatu watched and noticed some crumbling around from where Sneasel had dug up the bone. 'She's...Sneasel! She's'

There was no response, Xatu couldn't communicate with Sneasel. Sneasel let his arm fall by his side it was now to heavy for him to support. Tyranitar watched as Sneasels eyes turned into slits. 'Xatu. Stop him if you can't affect him directly put stuff in his way. Got it.' Tyranitar ordered. 'Yes, sir.' Sneasel ran full speed at Tyranitar his claw dragging and bouncing as it hits the ground. Small bits of rocks and pebbles flew underfoot of Sneasel. Sneasel seemed to avoid them as if he'd never planned to step there.

"Stop him!"

'I'm trying but he's avoiding them. He must be able to see the stones.'

"That's not possible."

'Well, possible or not, he's avoiding everything I do.'

"Forget it your useless!"

Tyranitar watched as Sneasel continued to accelerate his arm now constantly floating like a silver streak behind him. Tyranitar didn't even have time to blink as Sneasel brought his claw up and cut deep into Tyranitars hard skin like it was butter. Sneasels claw tore up across Tyranitars stomach across his chest and across his face. Tyranitar screamed out in a blood curdling scream of pain as he flew off the edge of the cliff. Landing very solidly on the ground. His head off to the side unconscious. Sneasel stared at him over from the top of the cliff, breathing heavily. 'Don't.'

"Don't what?"

'There's no need to. His neck is snapped. He's not dead mind you but he is paralyzed from the neck down. He can't hurt anyone anymore.'

"You're not just saying that?"

'I have never lied to you or anyone. I have no reason to.'

"Now what am I going to do? Without her I don't..."

'I tried to tell you earlier. She's not'

"Sneasel!!!"

"God, I can even hear her voice."

'Oh, that's just pathetic. Turn around.'

"Huh?" Sneasel said.

"Sneasel?! There you are."

Sneasel turned around to see Cubone patting the dust off of her cloak. He just stood there staring at her his arm no longer heavy but still limp at his side.

"What's wrong?" Cubone ran up to Sneasel who was just staring at her. The closer she got the more worried she became as she noticed all of the scratches and bruises that covered Sneasels body. "What happened...You look terrible."

Sneasel continued to stare at her letting out a stuttered breath. As he reached out with his one good arm. Cubone cocked her head to the side as Sneasel hesitantly reached out to touch her. Sneasel withdrew slightly just before he touched her tears were welling at the bottom of his eyes.

"What's wrong?"

'He thought you were dead.'

"You thought I was..." Cubone looked at Sneasel with a concerned look on her face.

Cubone reached into her cloak and pulled something out. With her other hand she grabbed Sneasels hand and put it on him. Sneasel stared from her to the gauntlet like accessory she put on him. Cubone held his hand in hers.

"Sneasel, it's okay. I'm here and I'll never leave you again. I promise."

"Cubone!" Sneasel wrapped his one good arm around her and pulled her close. The two of them stood there holding one another for a time. "How did you? The earthquake. I found your..."

"That rooms a lot sturdier than it looks and I used my bone to poke a hole so I could find out how deep I was. I found that in there as well." Cubone said motioning to Sneasel new accessory.

"I'm sorry, I..."

"You what?"

"..."

'After he thought you were dead he attacked Tyranitar, who caused the Earthquake. Tyranitar currently has a deep scar across the front of his body and a broken neck that has paralyzed him from the neck down.'

"Sneasel did that?" Cubone asked.

Xatu nodded. Cubone turned to look at Sneasel who had turned away and released her from his grip.

"Sneasel?" Cubone stared at him concerned.

"I couldn't stand the thought of losing you..." Sneasel said looking down at the ground. "The voice was never present when I was around or even thought of you. When I thought that you were dead the voice came back, and I listened to it for a second time I listened to the voice. I wanted to make sure that he could never hurt anyone ever again. I couldn't stop...I wouldn't stop. Even after he fell off the side of the cliff I wanted to go down there and finish him. I wanted to make him pay for making me lose you and for making the voice return. I wanted to feel...something again." Sneasels back was still to Cubone.

"Sneasel?" Cubone said grabbing Sneasels clawing and pulling it so that he turned around to face her. "I never would have thought that you would be capable of something like this. But in that kind of situation...I probably would have done the same thing." Cubone reached up and put her arms lightly around Sneasels chest. "From now on we'll be together. Okay? And no matter what happens we'll always have each other." Cubone looked up at Sneasel who was staring down at her tears flowing down the side of his cheeks.

"Cubone, I...I..."

Cubone raised her head and kissed Sneasel. Sneasel wrapped his arm around her once again. Cubone pulled back and looked Sneasel in the eye.

"You worry too much." Cubone said smiling tears flowing from her eyes as well.

The two pokemon kissed each other again, not wanting the moment to end. The sun finished setting behind them. The moon shined brightly on the two pokemon as a glowing light erupted from the inside of both of them. Slowly the two pokemons shapes began to change. As the two pokemon stood, in what was as close to holy matrimony as you could get, Xatu looked off into the woods where Weavile was resting on a branch. Weavile made eye contact with Xatu and nodded. The both of them disappeared back to the village. The light subsided and the two pokemon broke there kiss. They stared into each others eyes. 'tink' 'tink' 'Huff' 'Huff' The two pokemon stared at the edge of the cliff as a round light blue face popped up and another purple and white face with large bucked teeth appeared at the edge. The pokemon blinked at one another. The pokemon climbing the cliff tried to finish climbing up the cliff but slipped and fell down flailing into the lake where the waterfall emptied into. The two pokemon at the top of the cliff stared at each other shrugged and embraced one another in another kiss.

The End.

(Damn, well that wasn't too bad I guess, at least not for my first story...ever. Who would've guessed, huh? Let me know what you think about the story. I'm not sure If I have anymore ideas for stories but If I come up with any I'll be sure to elaborate on them. Until then.)
