"That didn't seem to hold true when I impaled you on that branch." Bane barked.

But one as great as me won't stay dead for long. Biogen was so kind as to reincarnate me into the grand creature you see before you."

"WE were made that by your two little friends, Sky and, heh, Inferno. Sorry to say Inferno's head has already been claimed, but that little absol is free for the taking. And I do plan to take her, just like I took that little raichu." Rika flinched again, Bane was ready to go into an all out charge. "Ahh you know it feels so good to be back in the realm of the living. It's only too bad that the pack can't be here. They were a bit too weak to be brought back and none survived, you made sure of that, Bane. My flesh was made anew." his tentacles quaked as if to emphasize his point, "I am now the imbodiment of my name. I am the angel of death mwah ha ha ha ha ha. But enough of the banter. You lot need to die. And I plan to ensure it." Then in a flash Death had struck Bane. The Biogen grunts rushed the group.
Death went after Bane as the grunts kept the others distracted, "You don't stand a chance brother, I'm am on a whole new level that you can't hope to reach." Death's tentacles began flailing at Bane who was barley able to dodge them. The onslaught continued as Death took to the sky and launched a hail of shadow balls. Bane dodged them but went straight into a tentacle and was sent flying into a tree.
Blaze moved to intercept the nidorino and nidorina while Inferno began fighting the bayleef. Rika, Sky, and Tia were left with the rhyhorn, swellow, charmeleon and treeko. The nido's moved in and tried to land horn attacks but Blaze dodged and unleashed a psychic attack sending them back into their masters. They got up and continued the assault, and got caught in confusion blast.
The bayleef were more cautious of their opponent, genetically altered they may be, but they still suffered from a fire attack. One launched a razor leaf barage while the other used a psybeam. The attacks missed as Inferno launched into the air and came down on one with an iron tail, and blasted the other with a fire blast. The ladder of the two let out a scream as the fire began to burn.
Tia made short work of the charmeleon with a water gun, sending it, and it's master into a the splintered side of a dead tree. The treeko went after Tia, while the swellow kept Sky from helping Rika who was busy with the rhyhorn. The rock/ground type charged Rika and tried a tackle. She jumped up and used an iron tail, but the thing vanished. She turned and saw the rhyhorn use a quick attack before being knocked back. Rika recovered and saw the rhyhorn use quick attack again. This time she used quick attack as well and when the rhyhorn stopped hit it with an iron tail right in the head. It was knocked back but was still able to fight.
Death kept up the barrage of attacks swinging his tentacles and using his attacks to slowly wear down Bane. And the plan was working. The attacks were coming in so frequently Bane couldn't retaliate and was slowly taking hits and losing strength. And all the while Death was smiling, "You were a fool to turn down my offer. Now it's too late. Your little raichu could have been spared my attention if you had rejoined. Then again I bet she loved feeling a real male in her." The comments broke Bane's last nerve and he launched himself into the swirl of the tentacles aiming for Death' throat, and he nearly got it until a tentacle wrapped around his waist and lifted him up.
Death's second tentacle wrapped around Bane's neck and held his head in place, "You could have been something Bane, but you choose to side with our father's murderers. Now you will die!"
He was about to snap Bane in two when a scream came out, "LET HIM GO!!!!" Rika came in above Death and landed a iron tail right into the side of his face sending him speeding into through a tree. Bane landed on the ground with a hard thump and saw Rika staring at where she launched Death, "Ohh and just so you know, your a lot smaller then Bane you mutt." Bane saw the rhyhorn was flat on the ground, his head was crushed in. He got up and got to her side. The two launched a quick attack and hit the recovering Death sending him flying into another tree. Bane launched a swarm of shadow balls, Rika used a thunder bolt. Death latched onto the tree's branches and yanked himself up and away from the attacks. He hovered for a moment and prepared to launch a hyperbeam when the tree that fell after he went through it smacked him. Using his tentacles he broke the thing in half and looked for the thrower.
The energy of a psychic faded from Blaze as he looked at the winged monster. The nidos and their masters were lying in a pool of their own blood. Death prepared to launch himself at the altered typhlosion when he heard another voice, "Long time no see!" He turned to see Inferno's iron tail coming down. Death was sent straight into the ground next to the charred remains of the bayleef. The four came up, "Thanks for the lift Rika." she nodded and prepared to attack again. Death heard a scream as saw the final of the Biogen agents running away. It was now six against one, but all of a sudden a hyperbeam hit between Death and his opponents. Death took to the sky, "Don't think this is over! Next time I'll have some real muscle, not just some backwater rejects!" Death took off toward the cliff.
The two creatures stood watch as Death flew back, the first one spoke, "It looks like these six are going to be a bit of a problem."
The other snarled, "Well I suppose they would be. After all they are his friends."
"What is your issue with that one anyway?"
"We never saw eye to eye. He just hated the way I did things. It was because of him that you found me in the state I was in. Let that be lesson, vengence gives one strength."
"Heh I never was one for lessons. So shall we go and plan for the next strike?"
Death landed, "Next time give me some competent help!"
The first smiled, "Yes it looks like we have no choice. We need the elite of Biogen to take these guys out."
The second smiled too, "Maybe I should show myself. I have ohh so wanted to show him what I've become since our last meeting."

The six gathered together, they were all exhausted from the battle. Despite a few bumps and bruises they were all okay. Bane was a bit preturbed, "I can't believe he's actually back."
Rika nuzzled him, "And he got his ass kicked again. This time I gave that shit what he deserved."
Blaze was curled up into a ball, "We need to rest now. That won't be the last time Biogen tries this." Tia nodded.
Inferno was still uneasy, Sky nuzzled him, "What's wrong?"
Inferno nuzzled back, "Death said my head was already claimed. That mean's someone in Biogen has it out for me."
Blaze looked at Inferno, "And that means they have to have some rank if they can claim your head and the others follow."
"So who'd you piss off Inferno?" Rika was looking up at the sky barly concious of the conversation. She was too happy just knowing she got to save Bane from his brother to really care.
"I don't know, but I don't like it."
Sky licked his cheek, "Stop worrying. We beat them off now. We deserve a little rest. And I'm sure whoever has a problem with you will be easy to deal with. After all you have me."
Inferno smiled, "That I do, of course is that a blessing or a curse." She gave him a light headbutt.
Tia was looking at Blaze, he had done great in the fight. God, the more she was with him the more she fell in love with him. She wasn't sure if she could keep her emotions secret for long. She nodded, "Alright then. I guess I have to tell him. No matter what his answer it's better then torturing myself." She told herself. Perhasp tomarrow when they were rested.
Well despite his new body Death was dealt with pretty easily.
