Ahh Ch.16 were getting closer and closer to...
Rika: We know here and now.
Sky: In fact I think we'll catch up by the end of this chapter.
Well yeah there's that, but I was refering to...
Inferno: He meant the big thing that happens in this chapter.
Bane: Yeah you know between Blaze and Tia.
NO NO NO!!!! I mean the.....
Rika: Hey quiet we're trying to read here.
I guess I'll say it later.
The first rays of dawn were hitting Blaze. He lifted his head and huffed, they lost the rest of yesterday due to Biogen's attack. Another day where his vengence wasn't satiated. The others were sleeping calmly. "Bah! How can they sleep so sound after that attack?" he thought, then he looked at Tia, "Well I know how she can. She's never dealt with constant battles. That little bitch probably thinks we're safe now. She's so naive and so fucking lucky. She's lived a nice comfortable life while I had to bite and claw my way just to survive." He turned his head from her, unable to look at her without fear of attacking in rage.
Then he heard a voice coming from where up ahead. No two voices. Both were coming through the forest, and snapping every twig they could. "Blaze calm down. They aren't Biogen. They aren't trying to be sneaky and theirs only two of them." Blaze turned and saw Inferno was awake and that he himself was already in a attack posture. Blaze relaxed and got back down as Inferno got up to streach.
A loud yelp followed by laughing came from the two passerbys. Then an arcanine ran through the brush and stopped in front of Inferno. He took a few wiffs of him and immediatly went flat on the ground, paws covering his face, "DON'T HURT ME! DON'T HURT ME!" The yell/plead woke up everyone.
Sky looked at the scene, "What the hells going on?"
The other voice souded, "Drake what's wrong?"
Inferno's ears perked up, "No way."
The second one was a female houndoom, she took one look at Inferno and smiled, "Inferno!"
He smiled back, "Cara!"
The two nuzzled, Sky was confused, and a bit pissed, Rika jumped up, "Cara long time no see!"
"Rika. Your with him again? Strange I thought that you two were just friends."
Inferno sighed, "We are and besides both of us are already taken."
"Really? So my big brother finally found someone that he likes huh well thats..." She stopped when the arcanine jumped and tried to hide behind her. "Drake will you stop it. Sheesh you don't inspire faith in you protection abilities when you do that."
"Ohh yeah easy for you to say. Your related to him. He kicked my ass and everyone elses before and I quarentee he could do it again."
Sky came to his side, "So she's your sister?"
Inferno nodded, "Sky this is my little sister Cara. Cara this is my mate Sky."
Cara gave a quick examination of Sky, "Nice to meet you. I have to admit I'm surprised you landed my brother. I never expected him to stick with one female. He was always..."
Inferno quickly interupted, "So uhh Cara what brings you here and with that arcanine no less." Sky shot him an evil stare, he was in for a lot of hell tonight.
"Well me and, uhh, will you tell Drake your not going to hurt him."
Inferno approached Drake, "Listen your safe so long as my sister likes you. And especially since you left your old group."
Drake got up feeling slightly safer, and confused, "What do you mean?"
"I mean if you stayed with them you'd be a feast for the various scavengers."
Drake sighed, "I guess they wanted revenge." Inferno nodded.
Cara bumped him, "See being with me saved you life. Aren't you glad you ran into me? Anyway me and my little guardian here were just going back toward our home. We thought we'd pay dad and the others a visit. Why are you here with such a big group?"
Inferno told her the story up until Blaze came in, "Now were helping Blaze and Tia to exterminate Biogen."
Drake's ears perked up, "Biogen? Your just going after them because those two are? Nothing personal in it?"
Inferno looked at him puzzled, "Why should there be?"
His ears dropped down, "Well.....uhh......no, not really.
Inferno turn his back, "Your lying, but I don't care. There isn't anyone I have a personal grudge against except for that one fool and he's de....." Inferno twisted back to face Drake, who shrunk down and looked like he was going to die of shock, "Are you saying what I think your saying?" Drake just stared at him, scared stiff, and everyone else wasn't sure what was going on. Inferno launched at Drake, knocked him to the ground, and held his head down with his paw, "ANSWER ME!! IS IT HIM?"
"Inferno get off....." Cara couldn't finish the sentence, Inferno shot her a stare that was pure bloodlust. She backed away from her brother afraid that the answer Drake had was what she realized it had to be. Everyone noticed the change in Inferno, his eyes lost all sence of mercy, kindness, or anything other that hate and bloodlust.
Drake was whimpering, "TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW NOW!"
Drake let out one last cry, "Okay, one day, when I was trying to find some food for me and Cara I thought I smelled a scent that was a bit to familiar. Against my better judgement I went to check it out and I found...."
"FOUND WHAT!"
"Sarak." Rika's face went bright with realization, Cara was afraid for her mate, "Only he wasn't the same Sarak, his body had been twisted and reformed. He was with a bunch of things that wore these wierd cloths. Sarak was with something and they talked about how they were going to make Biogen the new world order. There I told you now please don't kill me." Drake was actually crying in terror.
Sky approached Inferno, "In...Inferno are you...." Inferno turned around and shoved her out of the way. The others moved aside as he passed, that bloodlust still in his eyes. "What's wrong with him?"
Cara came up to her mate and tried to reassure him, "Sarak is an arbok that Inferno had a real problem with."
Sky was still confused, "Why?"
Cara's eyes grew sad, "Because he killed our mother."
Sky, Bane, Blaze and Tia were all shocked, Rika already knew about Sarak and decided Drake needed Cara, "It happened a bit after he saved me from that bit of trouble with the growlithes. He and his mother were out gathering food when an arbok attacked. It was strong and didn't take long to kill his mother. When Inferno attacked him he laughed and just beat him aside and made him watch as he ate his mother. And that's as much as we could get from him before he just passed out. Something happened to Inferno after that, most likely he was used as a punching bag. Sarak had caused some trouble before, but that was the first time he killed anyone, and the last time he was seen around us. Since then Inferno just trained and got stronger. When he left he said it was to see the world, but we all knew he was really going to find and kill Sarak."
Sky was stunned, no wonder he was so pissed, "Did he..."
"We recieved word that Inferno had killed him. He didn't return like we thought he would though."
"Can you blame him?" Cara rejoined the convesation when Drake had calmed down, "He spent all his time protecting people from scum like Sarak. And then, the one time he had someone important to him to protect he couldn't do a thing. Inferno felt he failed mom and he couldn't take it. God this must be a thousand times worse, he failed to kill Sarak, the entire reason he left."
Rika sighed, "He's going to be in a very bad mood."
Sky went off the way he went, Cara was stunned, "Where are you going?"
"To calm him down." Cara admired her bravery, but then again she didn't know it was a doomed cause.
Sky found Inferno sitting next to a stream, looking down into the water, growling. She cautiously approached him, "Inferno."
He shot her one look, an unpleasent one, huffed and returned to the stream. She got up closer, "Inferno you know that I know how it feels to lose someone close and not being able to do anything about...."
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT LOSING YOUR MOTHER!? This wasn't some damn, worthless, trainer it was my mother god damn it! And I could do something, but I was too weak then. Now, I've thought he's been dead, but rather he's with those scum from Biogen alive and well. YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MY PAIN!!!!!" Sky cringed back as he assalted her with his voice, barly restraining himself from attacking her all out.
She inhaled a quick breath, "Inferno, please. I don't like seeing you like this. This isn't you. It hurts, more than when I lost my trainer true, but I know it hurts a lot." When he didn't fly at her she got closer to him, within biting range and continued, "You did kill him. Biogen screwed with him though, just like Death. They gave that monster life again. You couldn't have know that would happen. We didn't even know it was possible before yesterday."
Inferno crumpled into a ball and began shaking, "I can't rid myself of what happened that day. That monster came out of nowhere, batted me out of the way, then he raped her." Sky was still, "I can still hear her screams as he violated her. That monster had his way with my mother right in front of me the he killed and ate her. Then he started wacking me around for fun. He let me live so I could tell every one what he did. I refused to tell the whole story and give him his pleasure. But still I can still see what he did when ever I close my eyes. That image was burned into my mind." Sky began to curl around him, "I couldn't even make a distraction or call for help I was so scared." Inferno continued trembeling while Sky tried to think about what to do.
Tia looked as the Sky went after Inferno, "Poor Inferno that had to be so hard."
Blaze just scoffed, "It's not as hard as you might think."
"He saw his mother killed then eaten, how can that not be hard?" Tia seemed disgusted by the way he acted.
Blaze lost his temper, "AND WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW ABOUT LOSING FAMILY!? I was there when my family was slaughtered. Meanwhile you, you prissy little bitch, were living a nice, comfortable life. You seemed to get off so fucking easy! I had to fight all my life since then to survive, while you stuck with Biogen of your own damn accord. Damn it all I had to be dismissed by out own home and yet you would have been welcomed back simply because you mutation was so minute it's barely noticable. You have gotten off so easy while I suffered. You have no right to say what's hard and what's not!" Blaze took off just as angry as Inferno was, Tia just stood there, stunned by what her old friend had said.
Rika sighed, "This isn't the best of reunions."
Cara shook her head, "Might have been better if we never ran into each other."
Drake sighed, "This is my fault. I should have kept my big mouth shut."
Bane seemed to be trying to make sence of the fight Tia and Blaze had, "It wasn't your fault how could you have known?"
Cara looked at him, "Ohh and uhh you are?"
Rika seemed to be rejoicing for the change in subject, "He's Bane and he's my little mutt."
"Drake right?" he nodded, "We share a lot in common you know. We've fallen for those close to Inferno and we have some relationships with some very undisirable pokemon that tried to kill us."
Cara smiled, "Got to admit Rika he's kinda cute."
"And he's a very good, uhh what's a good word, bedfellow." Bane turned his head to hide a blush.
Drake got up, "Listen Cara, it's not that I don't like your brother, it's that he scares me, beyond all reason, can we leave, please, in the name of all thats pure, can we leave?"
"Don't worry I'll tell Inferno you left because you little boy was too chicken to stick around." Rika waved as Cara and Drake walked off, Drake a bit ahead of her.
Tia was shocked to hear how much Blaze hated her. She knew his life was hard, but didn't realize that she had live an okay one herself. She was fed, sheltered, and taken care of, while he had to go through hell just so he could keep his flame of life going. She walked away from Rika and Bane and aimed for a spot inbetween Inferno and Blaze.
She found a small pound in the course of the stream, next to the mountain, and sat down. She didn't notice that her changes where very small to his. The black little crack like colorings could easily be from a cross breeding or just a small mutation. His changes were to big to hide though, and he would always be treated differently because of it.
Blaze had found a pile of rocks and began to blast them with any attack he had. He kept thinking about how Tia thought Inferno had it rough. His experiance wasn't easy but he could get over it, especially since he had Sky. He had no one, he was alone. Tia had gotten off so easy, and could be so readilly accepted, and could be loved and wanted, and....and....and she couldn't control it. Blaze damned himself for his own selfishness, she had no control of what happened to her. She was never the type to fight unless she saw the fight to be right. She didn't know Biogen was an evil group so she wouldn't fight them. He had blamed her for everything that was unfair because she was the closest thing he had left. And of course he just had to yell at her. Blaze caught her scent and went after her, hoping she would give him a chance to apologize, at least.
Tia was crying now. She was the embodyment of everything Blaze couldn't be and she would always remind him of that. As Tia sat their crying an aggron crept up behind her, "What do I have here? A tyranitar in my territory."
Tia turned around to face the aggron, "Y...your territory."
"Ohh and a very peculiar one at that. A slightly off colored female. Heh heh heh, nice. You know I just can't have you coming into my land like this. You need to pay and I think I know a perfect way."
Tia was shaking as the aggron approached her, "How do you mean?"
"I mean your going to get on the ground and I'm going to pump you." Tia backed away scared to death. The aggron kept advancing on her and she closed her eyes. She felt the aggron knock her to ground and began to move her tail. She was so terrified she couldn't move. Everything she had wanted began to crumble and her hope was gone. As she prepared for the worst she heard a small blast then a body hit the ground. She opened her eyes and saw the aggron on the ground, eyes clenched shut in pain, and Blaze standing in front of her. "Your not going to lay a single claw on her you got me!?"
"Bl....Blaze?"
He turned, but avoided looking her in the eyes, "Yeah ummm, sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to yell at you it's just that...." His sentence was cut short by a metal claw. Blaze went down with three big gashes on his side, all bleeding profusly. The aggron laughed at Blaze, "Man your some freak. I think I'll do the world a favor and get rid of you." He launched a hyperbeam at him, but it was stopped by another hyperbeam.
Sky was still trying to comfort Inferno when an explosion sounded, "Inferno!"
He looked toward the source, "It might be Biogen. Let's go."
Rika and Bane were still in the clearing unsure what the hell they were going to do when the explosion rocked the area. The two set off for the source.
The aggron was pissed that his attack was stopped and looked for the culprit when an iron tail landed across his body. Blood began to splurt out from a cut it left drenching Tia. The aggron looked baffled for a bit before it fell back, dead. Tia ran over to Blaze, "Oh my god Blaze are you alright?"
He laughed, the first one she heard from him since they met in the base, "Do I look it?" Tia recoiled from the words, "Ohh sorry. Didn't think you were still so sensitive. But as I was saying," he coughed up some blood, "it was just that, spending so much time alone fighting for survival it got to me. And when I saw you relativly unchanged I hated my luck. It wasn't your fault things came to be this way." His breathing was becoming labored, "Tia I'm really sorry for screaming at you, you didn't deserve it. Can you forgive me?"
Tia began crying again, "Blaze. Don't worry I can't get mad at you."
"Heh. Why......not?" words began to become to hard to speak.
"Because I.......I care about you, I always have. Blaze you were always such a good person and all you got for it was this." She licked his face.
Blaze managed to smile, "Nice to know. But you could have made my life easier if you had told me sooner. You know I would have left that bitch I was with if I had known. Ohh well live and learn as they say, or in this case die and learn." His breathing was shallow.
Tia brought her head down to his, her tears falling onto his fur, and wished he would live. The group came in at that time and saw the sceane. Suddenly Tia's body began to glow, and Blaze's followed soon after. His wounds began to close as their bodys glowed a faint green and it was apparently weakening Tia. As the wounds were sewn up, without leaving a scar, the glow began to fade and Tia was panting heavely. Bane looked at the two, "What the hell was that?"
"Some type of healing move I'm guessing." Inferno replied, Bane just noticed he was their. "What kind of healing move I'm not sure."
Tia looked at Blaze, his breathing was becoming steady, his eyes were regaining luster, "I don't care what it was as long as he's okay."
"Heh you thought I was going to die. Not gonna happen. I still have to take out Biogen." He gave Tia another smile.
Rika then noticed a cave not far from the area, "hey that must be where that aggron lived maybe he has some food or even a bed."
Inferno looked, "Worth checking out at least."
The four left Tia and Blaze alone and proceeded into the cave.
And that is when you idiots worked your way into here. And next chapter you guys leave.
Rika: And Why should we?
Cause If you don't there's no story and we stuck here.
Bane: He has a point.
Sky: Besides it's been a couple days since then, so Blaze should be ready to get back on with this little mission.
Inferno: Yeah we need to get to Mount Dalmascan and destroy Biogen. I need to kill Sarak again, Bane you need to deal with Death, and Blaze has the Biogen leader to slay.
*door busts open, Blaze comes in*
Blaze: What the hell are you guys doing?
Bane: Were going to leaving soon we need to continue entertaining the readers.
Blaze: Say what?
It's a long story so far and it's going to be a bit longer.
Rika: A bit? What, are you psychic now? You can see the future. You know when our travels end.
Look just shut up and get going we have a story to write.
Rika: Ass fuck.
Same to you, sweetie, same to you.

Rika: Ass fuck.
