Well we're at chapter 18 now. It's been a long trip hasn't it?
*Poor imitation of Bane* Yep sure has Mecha.
Now we see the epic battle between all the big guys.
*Even poorer imitation of Rika* And it will be great ohh mighty one that is so much better than anything else, especially me.
*Slaps puppet Rika* Stop kissing up you damn whore. I mean really this is so........pathetic isn't it? *Sobs* I'm so pathetic. *Sobs some more* Why am I so pathetic?

The group ran through the tunnel until the stone walls turned into metal ones. As they entered the base complex doors opened on both sides toward their backs and Biogen agents began to pour into the tunnel, "After the umbreon the master's don't want him to interfear!"
Blue turned around, "You guys get goin. I'll take care of these grunts."
Blaze was still a bit apprehensive, but being so close to his goal quickly drowned out any bit of caution, "Fine then. Your funeral." The others took off while Blue stared down the Biogen agents. He counted 20, this wasn't going to be easy. The agents called out their pokemon, which were all various creatures with various changes to their bodys. Blue just smiled, "alright then who's first."
The six friends kept running down the corridor until they came to a large circular room with mulitple doors and corridors. Three of them stood out, one had the name Death over it, the next had Errol over it, the final corridor had Sarak written above it with a "prepare to die."
Inferno looked at the paths, "They want to split us up. Probably want to make the odds closer to favoring them. I think we have to play their game too."
Blaze nodded, "They can control this place so we have to meet them on their terms."
Bane growled, "And they know exactly who's coming for who." He shot off, down the corridor marked Death, Rika followed close behind.
"Good luck all!" Blaze shouted as he and Tia proceeded for Errol. Inferno looked at Sky, she nodded and they went straight for Sarak.
As Inferno and Sky went down the corridor Inferno looked at her, "Ohh and by the way, I'm sorry for yelling at you when I found out about Sarak. You know I didn't mean too, but well he..."
"Don't worry about it. You had every right to be upset and in the end you still love me, thats all I need."
Inferno smiled at her, then he stopped, "Hang on a minute." Inferno was gazing at a section of the wall, he sniffed the air a bit before blasting it, "Stay here. I'll be right back." He jumped through the hole.
Bane and Rika were now running up as they went for where Death was waiting. The corridor had become a twisting ramp that had to lead to the top of a tower. They came to a large door that slowly slide open, revealing the outside and the thing that both wanted to see bleeding and dead. They stepped through the opening and glared at Death.
Death just stood their, "It's about time. You know Bane I've had it with you. You left our pack once and yet we let you back in. You then left a second time and we offered you forgivness again! And despite it all you still turn on us. Now our father is dead, the pack is dead, I was dead, and it's all because of you. WHAT THE HELL MADE YOU THINK YOU COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS!?"
Bane stared at his brother, "I left the pack because your father was an evil bastard. I was forced back into that pack. I left again because I didn't want to stay with them. Your father is dead because he was a barbaric fool! The pack is dead because they followed him and then YOU! You died because you were like your father! AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WILL LET YOU HAVE A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO MY RIKA! YOU, HIM, THE PACK, THESE ARE NOT MY FAMILY! THOSE WHOM I'M WITH NOW ARE AND I WON'T LET YOU HURT THEM!" Bane charged his old brother with Rika at his side, admiring him for his courage and words.
Death's wings and tentacles began to thrash menacingly, "INSOLENT LITTLE FOOL!" Death charged.
Blaze and Tia didn't have far to run to reach the main control room. Standing in the center of the room was a creature that was so deformed it was impossible to tell what it was or had been. The thing smiled, "Welcome traitors of my glorious design. You now stand before the new god of life Errol." Blaze had never found images of Errol in any databank of Biogen and now he could see why. Errol was no longer human, his neck was elongated, he had the tail of a seviper, his arms had become thicker than any humans with a hand that had claws, not fingers. His legs were just as overly thick as his arms, his back looked like it was a saw blade. He had three eyes, one was red, one blue, the last one green, all had one small black pupil. His teeth looked more like a bunch of needles had been put into his mouth. And extending from his forhead was a pair of horns like an aggrons. Errol was an abomination to the highest degree, and he loved it.
Blaze looked at him in disbelief, "What have you done to yourself?"
Errol cackled, "I have made myself into the greatest thing in all of existence. I beat nature's design in every aspect. I have become a god! And you shall become dust!" He leaped with amazing agility at them.
The twenty pokemon and their twenty masters launched themselves at Blue. One aggron launched a metal claw which hit nothing but ground. Before Blue could counter another pokemon was on him and then another. The mass kept attack and missing, but their sheer numbers prevented a counter attack. Blue had to think of something before he slipped up, "Maybe I can get one of these idiots to destroy the roof and bury the whole lot of them." He decided that if he wanted to live he had to. It didn't take long to find the perfect victim either. The aggron was back was about to launch a hyperbeam when it felt a wierd sensation. Before it realized what it was doing it's head was pointing up and the hyperbeam hit the roof. As the roof gave way the forty Biogen grunts tried to run from the collasp. If any made it out alive they were on the other side of the rubble, cause Blue couldn't see anything but a large pile of stone. "I really hope there's another way out of this place." He turned and went to catch up with his new allies.
Inferno emerged from the hole smiling, "Alright let's get going."
Sky stayed by his side, "What did you do in there?"
He was still smiling, "Ohh just a little something. Don't worry about it." Sky was still confused, but she trusted him and kept silent as they came out through an opening into a large area outside.
As they walked out of the corridor a voice spoke, "Well it has been ssssuch a long time Inferno. I lost track of the time since you broke my body and left me for dead. Do you know what it'sss like to watch as your own flesh beginsss to die? To have your entire life flash before your eyessss? To realize that no matter how strong or great you are your sssstill mortal? Do you know what it'ssss like to have hatred fester in your sssoul because your time came before you could be greater? I was the grandest creature in the region, feared by all, and then you came, broke my body, then left it to ROT! I never forgot that day! The day my own weaknesssss was shown to me by a filthy, little, mongrel, mutt! But in the end, I have become sssstronger. Because of you I am now greater than I could have ever hoped to be. Errol may think he'ssss a god, the ultimate life form, but he is sssso wrong. He'ssss still human at hisss core, and that is why he will never hold my title. I am Sarak, and I am the ultimate life form. I am the new god. I am the embodiment of hate. The harbringer of death to all. I am the final ssssolution to all problemssss. I am the will of darknesssss made manifest. I AM THE THING OF NIGHTMARESSSSS! I AM DREAD SARAK MADE ANEW!"
Inferno just stood their, "Your also a coward! Come out of hiding!"
"SUCH INSOLENCE FROM A WEAK LITTLE PUP! You failed to protect your dear mother all those yearsss ago. You coward assss I had my way with her. And you will do so again assss I fuck that little absol of yoursssss. You ssssundered my flesh through an attack at night while I ssslept. You couldn't defeat me in a straight fight so you had to sssssneak and plan. Now we shall battle on my termsssssss. I made a promise that day Inferno. I promised the evil inside me one thing. I promised it REVENGE!" A vile creature erupted from some hiding place and flew to the ground. It's body was similar to an arbok's, but it was all black. Along the body is where the mutations could be really seen. He had wings progecting from just under his hood, and he also had two arm like appendeges that ended with three claws. On the back of his hood was a red dagger-like coloration. It hissed at Inferno, "TODAY IS THE DAY YOUR LIFE ENDSSSS AND MY LIFE AS A GOD BEGINSSSS!" Sarak flung himself at the two.
Death set his tentacles out to get the two apart, when they split to avoid getting hit he took to the air and began blasting the ground with a barrage of thunderbolts and shadow balls. Death was aiming to kill Bane first and his attacks were slowly pushing Bane toward the edge. Bane saw what Death was doing and charged inbetween the attacks and got away from the edge, Rika then followed with an thunder bolt. Death twisted and dodged then launched himself at the two again. The tentacles were flailing at them trying to land one hit and then turn it into a hundred. Bane jumped back and launched a shadow ball which was wacked aside by one of the tentacles. Death pressed forward and began to wail on Bane. Rika came in from behind and prepared to iron tail him off. But before she could Death knocked Bane aside, grabbed hold of Rika and pinned her to the ground. "You are an annoying little pest. Perhaps you want another go with me hmm? Well okay, but only because you want....." His sentence was cut off by a hyperbeam to his side. Death was nearly knocked off the building as Bane came up to Rika's side, "YOUR NEVER GOING TO TOUCH HER AGAIN!"
Death got up, "Big words from a...." His sentence was cut off again by a freezing blast to his back. He turned and saw the blue ringed umbreon. Blue launched a quick attack sending Death recoiling back. Death launched one of his tentacles at the new intruder but the attack was dodged and before he could continue a thunder attack hit Death dead center. He twitched as the electricity sparked off his body, "Damn it all."
Bane smiled, "Thanks Blue."
Blue smiled back, "No problem. Just thought you needed some help."
Rika was still giving a deadly stare at Death, "This time you going to die and your not coming back."
Death looked around him, he wasn't stupid, he knew he couldn't take on these three alone, "You know as appealing as dieing again sounds I'm gonna have to take a rain check." Death launched a smoke screen blinding those around him. As the haze cleared Death was long gone, Bane let out a growl, "He's smart enough to realize he can't win. How I wish he wasn't. He'll pay in do time though, we need to get to the others." Blue and Rika nodded and all three proceeded back through the corridor.
Errol made a swipe at Tia and Blaze, they dodged and he carved up the plating. Blaze tried to launch a fire blast, but Errol was already on him slashing his claws. Errol was quick, but highly inaccurate, but that would only help Blaze for so long. All of a sudden Errol jumped up and avoided an iron tail of Tia's and swong his own tail at her. She grabbed it and tossed him toward a wall, but he was able to bounce off it and back at them. Errol began his mass attack, slashing at one with his claws while his tail kept the other at bay. Despite his over sized limbs he was proving to be a fast and agile opponent and he wasn't getting tired. His attacks kept on coming. Blaze knew he had to put Errol on the offensive so he attempted to use a blast of confusion. The attack hit and pushed the altered creature back, "So I see you've accessed your abilities without Biogen's training. You had so much potential and yet you threw it all away."
"Potential? Is that why you butchered my family, because I had potential? You honestly think I would side with the monsters who brutally slaughered nearly everyone and knew and loved."
"From what I heard you didn't feel much love for you old home."
"They may have abandonded me, but it was after what you did. My life and the lives of so many others were wrecked by you and your Biogen and for what? Just so you could be that monstrosity."
"Fool. I want to bring a new order into the world. I want to shatter the barrier between pokemon and humans. I want them to know that nature's design was flawed and that I am the solution. Disease, genetic defects, injury, these will all be rendered mute by my awsome design. I will give the planet knew life."
Tia looked at Errol, "And all you want in return is to be hailed as a god. And all you need to do to realize that ideal of yours is to butcher innocents. How many lives have been torn apart because of you!? How many have to suffer just so you can have your own twisted desires!? You don't give a damn about the world or anyone else, all you want is power!" Blaze was surprised to hear her speak so strongly, she really thought this had to end, but she wanted to do it to stop the sadness that he went through from happening to anyone else. All he wanted was to satiate his desire for revenge.
"Be silent you worthless little bitch! Someone as weak as you has no place to speak with the likes of us. Your nothing but a weak little wretch, following anyone you think will keep you safe from the real world. You went against us because you were afraid of your own weakness. Your nothing in either the old world or my new one. You need to be exterminated before you can cause even more problems."
"How dare you talk to her like that! She's precious to me and your talking down to her!," Tia went a little red, "She's the last thing of importance I have that you didn't take. I won't let you treat her like she's below you, or even on equal ground. She's above you in every aspect except for insanity and evil. You call yourself a god? What kind of god are you? Your not fit to exist let alone be a god."
Errol spat on the ground and launched himself at them again. Blaze used psychic which froze the Biogen leader in place, just in front of Tia. Tia's tail began to glow with the aura of an iron tail. Errol struggled to get free of the psychic hold, but couldn't move a muscle. As Tia launched the iron tail, Blaze released Errol. The needle sharp point of her tail went right through Errol, while the strength of the iron tail sent him flying back into a computor consol. Smoke rose as the shock went through Errol frying his body. When the electricity died Tia and Blaze looked at the charred body and let out a sigh of relief, the leader of Biogen was gone and that would discourage a lot of his followers.
Sarak was fast. He struck Inferno with his attack and went after him. Inferno wasn't able to recover as Sarak came up and struck him with an iron/poison tail mix. Inferno went realing into the door and fell to the ground, coughing up blood, and twitching in pain. Sarak followed with three shadow balls into his fallen foe. Sky went for Sarak's back but in a flash she was caught by his tail and shoved into the ground. Sarak gave Inferno a quick look and decided he wouldn't be able to do much. His attention went fully onto Sky, he slashed her with his claws leave three shallow cuts. He continued the slash assault leaving minor cuts every time, he didn't want to kill her, not yet anyway. When she was covered in cuts Sarak went to beating her around. He kept flinging his tail and knocking her one way or the other. Inferno was struggling to get up, the attack had left him baddly hurt and weakened, he knew he had only one hope. Sarak continued to beat on Sky until she was barley concious, he then pick her up with his tail and held her in front of him. He smiled, "Wow this brings back memories doesn't it Inferno? Why this is nearly identicle to when I first met you. The only real change is that aside from appearence, I'm going to rape you mate instead of your mother, followed by a painful death and then a nice meal. When I'm done with her, you'll have to tell me which stings more, watching it happen to your dear mama or to your beloved Sky." He returned his gaze toward her and gave her an evil smile.
"Your not going to do anything to her!" Sarak looked back at Inferno and was shocked, he was up. Inferno could feel his strength returning, "The unique smell of lilacs and cherries." Sarak looked at him as if he was mad, "That's what one of your little experiments was described as smelling."
Sarak's eyes went wide, "T....th....the Maxim serum?" Inferno nodded, "You didn't!"
Inferno smiled, "A special serum that was divised to be put into an unmodified pokemon. It wouldn't have the drastic alterations that other genetic manipulations had, but it would increase the subjects own power by as much as twenty times. I read it while we were at the base near Mount Kyoko. I figured a little insurance might be needed."
Sarak glared at him, "DO YOU THINK THAT A LITTLE SERUM WILL BE ENOUGH TO BEAT ME!?"
Inferno growled, "That alone, yeah. But you also hurt my Sky, and that by itself is enough of a boost for me to kill you." In a flash of movement Inferno was over Sarak's head and using an iron tail, only it was pulsating with fire and a black subtance, Sarak assumed it was darkness since Inferno was a fire and dark type. The attack his so hard Sarak lost his grip on Sky and was sent flailing across the open platform. Inferno got down to Sky, "are you alright Sky?"
She looked up at him, his eyes were two different colors, one was red the other a slightly lighter black than his pupil. She smiled at him, "I'll be fine. Just take care of that snake. Ohh and by the way I like the eyes."
Inferno didn't know what she meant, but didn't have long to figure it out, Sarak was flying straight for him. Inferno used a fire blast on the fast approaching arbok mutant, it had some black in it, his attacks were taking on his two types and that seemed to be giving them more power. Sarak twisted to dodge it, only to end up with a face full of flaming shadow balls. A door opend on the side of the platform and a large group of Biogen agents came out, "We need to help master Sarak." They were charging in from Inferno side, Sarak launched another charge while he thought Inferno was distracted. Inferno jumped up, avoiding Sarak's attack and sent him sailing into his minions with an iron tail. While the Biogen agents and Sarak were recovering from the collision Inferno launched a hyperbeam. The attack was a mix of fire and darkness as it collided with Sarak, pushing him and the agents back into the opening, and with a loud scream coming from the twisted snake an explosion caused the place to collaspe. Inferno looked at the rubble for a while, he let out sigh with a smile, "Now stay dead."
"I guess we should get to the others now." Sky walked up to him, she had a small limp.
Inferno looked away, "Sky I'm sorry I couldn't help you. I thought I was strong enough, but when he took me down I thought you were gonna.....I just thought...."
She cut him off with a kiss, "You think too much." She smiled and after a while he smiled back, "Now shall we go and make sure our friends have had as much luck." He nodded and they went back down the path.
Tia and Blaze were about to head back when Rika, Bane, and Blue came in. Bane took a look around the room, "Well at least one of us managed to get our target."
Blaze looked at Errol, "Yeah. So I take it Death flew away again."
Blue nodded, "Yeah he got scared when I showed up. Ohh uhh by the way is there another way out of this place. I kinda had to uhh take destroy the way we used to get in so stop those Biogen guys."
Blaze got ran to a computer and began typeing. As he did Inferno and Sky came in, "Well Sarak's dead and gone. How'd you guys fare?"
Tia pointed to Errol's body, "You tell me."
Rika just sighed, "That damn Death ran away again."
Inferno just shrugged, "he'll turn up again. When he does we just have to break those wings. Then he won't be able to get away."
Bane nodded. Blaze was still typing, "Aha I found another route that hasn't been sealed by some type of explosion. Inferno would you care to lead us out of here."
Inferno looked at the map on the screen then nodded. As they were leaving they heard a laugh. They turned and saw Errols chest heaving up and down, "Ha ha ha ha.......Mwah ha ha ha ha......hee hee heee. I won't die alone I promise you that." He fliped a latch on the console then slammed his hand on a button.
The speaker system turned on, "WARNING: self destruct sequence initiated. Base will detonate in five minutes. Evacuate at once."
Inferno let out a curse, "We have to move now!"
Blaze looked at Errol, "You crazy son of a bitch!" The seven took off down the path that Inferno had memorized. As they went they passed dozens of Biogen agents and scientists all clamering to escape. They were running one way or another and paid no attention to them. As they went the speakers went on again, "Warning: self destruct will engage in four minutes evacuate at once." They kept running through all the confusion in the corridors. Sky's injuries were starting to slow her down and she was falling behind. Then she tripped and couldn't rise, she was just too tired. Inferno darted back to her, "Sky!"
She looked at him, panting, "Just go. I can't go on."
Inferno didn't even bother to listen he grabbed her and flung her on his back, "Just hold on tight." He took back off and the others followed again. The speakers came on again warning them they had three minutes to get out. Bane was getting worried, "Can we make it?"
"So long as none of these Biogen boobs try to stop us yeah." Inferno kept going hoping to god he was right. Tia looked back and saw that a large number of Biogen men were running for the exit to. If they made it they could still keep up this hell, she jumped forward as hard as she could while twisting, she took aim and fired a hyperbeam at the roof causing another collaps, sealing the exit. She barly held balance when she landed. Blaze looked at her, "Damn your looking more and more amazing with every moment." She blushed. When the speaker warned they had two minutes left they had reached the exit and saw went straight out. Inferno looked around and saw that this path would be identicle to the other, when he reached one rock formation he looked for another and went straight for it. When they navigated the path and reached safe land they turned around and waited for the explosion.
"This base will self destruct in 5....4....3.....2.....1...." A massive fire ball erupted out of the cave they had just left, another large ball of fire came out from the mountain as the base was blown apart. To further the destruction the volcanoe began to erupt. The eruption was small, but the lave engulfed most of what the self destruct left behind. Inferno, Bane, Blaze, Sky still on her mates back, Rika, Tia, and Blue all watched as the whole of Biogen went up in flames. Since most of their men must have arrived her then that meant that most of Biogen was dead and gone. Without their two stunning leaders any remnants would mearly try to fade away.
Sky nuzzled Inferno, "You know that was a stupid move back there."
Inferno just smiled, "Hey your looking at a much more powerful Inferno. I knew I could carry you without any trouble." The other stared at him, "I might have joined the genetic alteration club." They saw that his eyes were now two different colors. "Can't blame me. I wanted some insurance that Sarak was going to die."
Blaze smiled, "Welcome to the family then. I guess it's not so bad, but you'll have it well off since you lack any real changes."
Bane was smiling too, "So what now ohh fearless leader?"
"One since when was I elected to lead. And two I guess we'll look for Death, he needs to be dealt with."
Blue scratched his ears, "Well enjoy the hunt. As for me I have other things I need to do."
Inferno nodded, "Thanks for the help. If you hadn't come along we might have had to deal with a bit more than our intended targets."
"And Death would have been a bit more problamatic without your surprise attack." Rika piped in.
Blue nodded then ran off. Blaze watched him go, "Nice to know there are some trustworthy people out there."
Inferno looked at him, "Are you saying we're not trustworthy? After all the hell we went through to help you!" Inferno tried to keep his smile from showing, but failed miserably.
Bane yawned, "Right now I just want to rest. After a day like today a good sleep would be a god send." The others agreed and headed off to find a suitable place to rest.
When they found it Inferno set Sky down gently. She looked up at him, "Thanks hon."
He layed down next to her, "For what? Doing what I had to? You honestly think I would leave you there? Not going to happen. I would have stayed with you if I couldn't carry you. Sky your my life now. Nothing else matters to me as long as I have you."
Sky blushed a little, "Thanks Inferno."
He smiled, "For what?"
Death sored over the remains of the base. Most of it was gone, lost in the lava from the eruption. He flew down to a patch of debris and began sniffing. Soon the debris began to shuffle, then with a massive thrust Sarak emerged from the rubble. Death bowed before him, "I think we underestimated the bond our targets had with their mates."
Sarak scowled, "Indeed."
"So my lord, what shall we do now?"
"We'll gather up whatever Biogen has left. Then we'll make the world bow before me."
Death was confused, "How my lord?"
Sarak smiled, "I had a little project or two that Errol didn't know about. One of them will ensure my rise."
Death bowed low, "By your command, oh dread lord Sarak."
Sarak scowled again, "Next time Inferno, next time."
Alright folks first the puppets are gone. I regained my sanity during all those big climatic battles. *Smiles, then frowns* Sarak is one persistant bastard. Well we now have Biogen all but gone and the group is doing okay. Next chapter we'll see what the guys and girls, and Rika, do. Till then. Puppets what was I thinking. Robots are where its at. And I can connect with them so much better.

Bane and Rika were now running up as they went for where Death was waiting. The corridor had become a twisting ramp that had to lead to the top of a tower. They came to a large door that slowly slide open, revealing the outside and the thing that both wanted to see bleeding and dead. They stepped through the opening and glared at Death.
Death just stood their, "It's about time. You know Bane I've had it with you. You left our pack once and yet we let you back in. You then left a second time and we offered you forgivness again! And despite it all you still turn on us. Now our father is dead, the pack is dead, I was dead, and it's all because of you. WHAT THE HELL MADE YOU THINK YOU COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS!?"
Bane stared at his brother, "I left the pack because your father was an evil bastard. I was forced back into that pack. I left again because I didn't want to stay with them. Your father is dead because he was a barbaric fool! The pack is dead because they followed him and then YOU! You died because you were like your father! AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WILL LET YOU HAVE A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO MY RIKA! YOU, HIM, THE PACK, THESE ARE NOT MY FAMILY! THOSE WHOM I'M WITH NOW ARE AND I WON'T LET YOU HURT THEM!" Bane charged his old brother with Rika at his side, admiring him for his courage and words.
Death's wings and tentacles began to thrash menacingly, "INSOLENT LITTLE FOOL!" Death charged.
Blaze and Tia didn't have far to run to reach the main control room. Standing in the center of the room was a creature that was so deformed it was impossible to tell what it was or had been. The thing smiled, "Welcome traitors of my glorious design. You now stand before the new god of life Errol." Blaze had never found images of Errol in any databank of Biogen and now he could see why. Errol was no longer human, his neck was elongated, he had the tail of a seviper, his arms had become thicker than any humans with a hand that had claws, not fingers. His legs were just as overly thick as his arms, his back looked like it was a saw blade. He had three eyes, one was red, one blue, the last one green, all had one small black pupil. His teeth looked more like a bunch of needles had been put into his mouth. And extending from his forhead was a pair of horns like an aggrons. Errol was an abomination to the highest degree, and he loved it.
Blaze looked at him in disbelief, "What have you done to yourself?"
Errol cackled, "I have made myself into the greatest thing in all of existence. I beat nature's design in every aspect. I have become a god! And you shall become dust!" He leaped with amazing agility at them.
The twenty pokemon and their twenty masters launched themselves at Blue. One aggron launched a metal claw which hit nothing but ground. Before Blue could counter another pokemon was on him and then another. The mass kept attack and missing, but their sheer numbers prevented a counter attack. Blue had to think of something before he slipped up, "Maybe I can get one of these idiots to destroy the roof and bury the whole lot of them." He decided that if he wanted to live he had to. It didn't take long to find the perfect victim either. The aggron was back was about to launch a hyperbeam when it felt a wierd sensation. Before it realized what it was doing it's head was pointing up and the hyperbeam hit the roof. As the roof gave way the forty Biogen grunts tried to run from the collasp. If any made it out alive they were on the other side of the rubble, cause Blue couldn't see anything but a large pile of stone. "I really hope there's another way out of this place." He turned and went to catch up with his new allies.
Inferno emerged from the hole smiling, "Alright let's get going."
Sky stayed by his side, "What did you do in there?"
He was still smiling, "Ohh just a little something. Don't worry about it." Sky was still confused, but she trusted him and kept silent as they came out through an opening into a large area outside.
As they walked out of the corridor a voice spoke, "Well it has been ssssuch a long time Inferno. I lost track of the time since you broke my body and left me for dead. Do you know what it'sss like to watch as your own flesh beginsss to die? To have your entire life flash before your eyessss? To realize that no matter how strong or great you are your sssstill mortal? Do you know what it'ssss like to have hatred fester in your sssoul because your time came before you could be greater? I was the grandest creature in the region, feared by all, and then you came, broke my body, then left it to ROT! I never forgot that day! The day my own weaknesssss was shown to me by a filthy, little, mongrel, mutt! But in the end, I have become sssstronger. Because of you I am now greater than I could have ever hoped to be. Errol may think he'ssss a god, the ultimate life form, but he is sssso wrong. He'ssss still human at hisss core, and that is why he will never hold my title. I am Sarak, and I am the ultimate life form. I am the new god. I am the embodiment of hate. The harbringer of death to all. I am the final ssssolution to all problemssss. I am the will of darknesssss made manifest. I AM THE THING OF NIGHTMARESSSSS! I AM DREAD SARAK MADE ANEW!"
Inferno just stood their, "Your also a coward! Come out of hiding!"
"SUCH INSOLENCE FROM A WEAK LITTLE PUP! You failed to protect your dear mother all those yearsss ago. You coward assss I had my way with her. And you will do so again assss I fuck that little absol of yoursssss. You ssssundered my flesh through an attack at night while I ssslept. You couldn't defeat me in a straight fight so you had to sssssneak and plan. Now we shall battle on my termsssssss. I made a promise that day Inferno. I promised the evil inside me one thing. I promised it REVENGE!" A vile creature erupted from some hiding place and flew to the ground. It's body was similar to an arbok's, but it was all black. Along the body is where the mutations could be really seen. He had wings progecting from just under his hood, and he also had two arm like appendeges that ended with three claws. On the back of his hood was a red dagger-like coloration. It hissed at Inferno, "TODAY IS THE DAY YOUR LIFE ENDSSSS AND MY LIFE AS A GOD BEGINSSSS!" Sarak flung himself at the two.
Death set his tentacles out to get the two apart, when they split to avoid getting hit he took to the air and began blasting the ground with a barrage of thunderbolts and shadow balls. Death was aiming to kill Bane first and his attacks were slowly pushing Bane toward the edge. Bane saw what Death was doing and charged inbetween the attacks and got away from the edge, Rika then followed with an thunder bolt. Death twisted and dodged then launched himself at the two again. The tentacles were flailing at them trying to land one hit and then turn it into a hundred. Bane jumped back and launched a shadow ball which was wacked aside by one of the tentacles. Death pressed forward and began to wail on Bane. Rika came in from behind and prepared to iron tail him off. But before she could Death knocked Bane aside, grabbed hold of Rika and pinned her to the ground. "You are an annoying little pest. Perhaps you want another go with me hmm? Well okay, but only because you want....." His sentence was cut off by a hyperbeam to his side. Death was nearly knocked off the building as Bane came up to Rika's side, "YOUR NEVER GOING TO TOUCH HER AGAIN!"
Death got up, "Big words from a...." His sentence was cut off again by a freezing blast to his back. He turned and saw the blue ringed umbreon. Blue launched a quick attack sending Death recoiling back. Death launched one of his tentacles at the new intruder but the attack was dodged and before he could continue a thunder attack hit Death dead center. He twitched as the electricity sparked off his body, "Damn it all."
Bane smiled, "Thanks Blue."
Blue smiled back, "No problem. Just thought you needed some help."
Rika was still giving a deadly stare at Death, "This time you going to die and your not coming back."
Death looked around him, he wasn't stupid, he knew he couldn't take on these three alone, "You know as appealing as dieing again sounds I'm gonna have to take a rain check." Death launched a smoke screen blinding those around him. As the haze cleared Death was long gone, Bane let out a growl, "He's smart enough to realize he can't win. How I wish he wasn't. He'll pay in do time though, we need to get to the others." Blue and Rika nodded and all three proceeded back through the corridor.
Errol made a swipe at Tia and Blaze, they dodged and he carved up the plating. Blaze tried to launch a fire blast, but Errol was already on him slashing his claws. Errol was quick, but highly inaccurate, but that would only help Blaze for so long. All of a sudden Errol jumped up and avoided an iron tail of Tia's and swong his own tail at her. She grabbed it and tossed him toward a wall, but he was able to bounce off it and back at them. Errol began his mass attack, slashing at one with his claws while his tail kept the other at bay. Despite his over sized limbs he was proving to be a fast and agile opponent and he wasn't getting tired. His attacks kept on coming. Blaze knew he had to put Errol on the offensive so he attempted to use a blast of confusion. The attack hit and pushed the altered creature back, "So I see you've accessed your abilities without Biogen's training. You had so much potential and yet you threw it all away."
"Potential? Is that why you butchered my family, because I had potential? You honestly think I would side with the monsters who brutally slaughered nearly everyone and knew and loved."
"From what I heard you didn't feel much love for you old home."
"They may have abandonded me, but it was after what you did. My life and the lives of so many others were wrecked by you and your Biogen and for what? Just so you could be that monstrosity."
"Fool. I want to bring a new order into the world. I want to shatter the barrier between pokemon and humans. I want them to know that nature's design was flawed and that I am the solution. Disease, genetic defects, injury, these will all be rendered mute by my awsome design. I will give the planet knew life."
Tia looked at Errol, "And all you want in return is to be hailed as a god. And all you need to do to realize that ideal of yours is to butcher innocents. How many lives have been torn apart because of you!? How many have to suffer just so you can have your own twisted desires!? You don't give a damn about the world or anyone else, all you want is power!" Blaze was surprised to hear her speak so strongly, she really thought this had to end, but she wanted to do it to stop the sadness that he went through from happening to anyone else. All he wanted was to satiate his desire for revenge.
"Be silent you worthless little bitch! Someone as weak as you has no place to speak with the likes of us. Your nothing but a weak little wretch, following anyone you think will keep you safe from the real world. You went against us because you were afraid of your own weakness. Your nothing in either the old world or my new one. You need to be exterminated before you can cause even more problems."
"How dare you talk to her like that! She's precious to me and your talking down to her!," Tia went a little red, "She's the last thing of importance I have that you didn't take. I won't let you treat her like she's below you, or even on equal ground. She's above you in every aspect except for insanity and evil. You call yourself a god? What kind of god are you? Your not fit to exist let alone be a god."
Errol spat on the ground and launched himself at them again. Blaze used psychic which froze the Biogen leader in place, just in front of Tia. Tia's tail began to glow with the aura of an iron tail. Errol struggled to get free of the psychic hold, but couldn't move a muscle. As Tia launched the iron tail, Blaze released Errol. The needle sharp point of her tail went right through Errol, while the strength of the iron tail sent him flying back into a computor consol. Smoke rose as the shock went through Errol frying his body. When the electricity died Tia and Blaze looked at the charred body and let out a sigh of relief, the leader of Biogen was gone and that would discourage a lot of his followers.
Sarak was fast. He struck Inferno with his attack and went after him. Inferno wasn't able to recover as Sarak came up and struck him with an iron/poison tail mix. Inferno went realing into the door and fell to the ground, coughing up blood, and twitching in pain. Sarak followed with three shadow balls into his fallen foe. Sky went for Sarak's back but in a flash she was caught by his tail and shoved into the ground. Sarak gave Inferno a quick look and decided he wouldn't be able to do much. His attention went fully onto Sky, he slashed her with his claws leave three shallow cuts. He continued the slash assault leaving minor cuts every time, he didn't want to kill her, not yet anyway. When she was covered in cuts Sarak went to beating her around. He kept flinging his tail and knocking her one way or the other. Inferno was struggling to get up, the attack had left him baddly hurt and weakened, he knew he had only one hope. Sarak continued to beat on Sky until she was barley concious, he then pick her up with his tail and held her in front of him. He smiled, "Wow this brings back memories doesn't it Inferno? Why this is nearly identicle to when I first met you. The only real change is that aside from appearence, I'm going to rape you mate instead of your mother, followed by a painful death and then a nice meal. When I'm done with her, you'll have to tell me which stings more, watching it happen to your dear mama or to your beloved Sky." He returned his gaze toward her and gave her an evil smile.
"Your not going to do anything to her!" Sarak looked back at Inferno and was shocked, he was up. Inferno could feel his strength returning, "The unique smell of lilacs and cherries." Sarak looked at him as if he was mad, "That's what one of your little experiments was described as smelling."
Sarak's eyes went wide, "T....th....the Maxim serum?" Inferno nodded, "You didn't!"
Inferno smiled, "A special serum that was divised to be put into an unmodified pokemon. It wouldn't have the drastic alterations that other genetic manipulations had, but it would increase the subjects own power by as much as twenty times. I read it while we were at the base near Mount Kyoko. I figured a little insurance might be needed."
Sarak glared at him, "DO YOU THINK THAT A LITTLE SERUM WILL BE ENOUGH TO BEAT ME!?"
Inferno growled, "That alone, yeah. But you also hurt my Sky, and that by itself is enough of a boost for me to kill you." In a flash of movement Inferno was over Sarak's head and using an iron tail, only it was pulsating with fire and a black subtance, Sarak assumed it was darkness since Inferno was a fire and dark type. The attack his so hard Sarak lost his grip on Sky and was sent flailing across the open platform. Inferno got down to Sky, "are you alright Sky?"
She looked up at him, his eyes were two different colors, one was red the other a slightly lighter black than his pupil. She smiled at him, "I'll be fine. Just take care of that snake. Ohh and by the way I like the eyes."
Inferno didn't know what she meant, but didn't have long to figure it out, Sarak was flying straight for him. Inferno used a fire blast on the fast approaching arbok mutant, it had some black in it, his attacks were taking on his two types and that seemed to be giving them more power. Sarak twisted to dodge it, only to end up with a face full of flaming shadow balls. A door opend on the side of the platform and a large group of Biogen agents came out, "We need to help master Sarak." They were charging in from Inferno side, Sarak launched another charge while he thought Inferno was distracted. Inferno jumped up, avoiding Sarak's attack and sent him sailing into his minions with an iron tail. While the Biogen agents and Sarak were recovering from the collision Inferno launched a hyperbeam. The attack was a mix of fire and darkness as it collided with Sarak, pushing him and the agents back into the opening, and with a loud scream coming from the twisted snake an explosion caused the place to collaspe. Inferno looked at the rubble for a while, he let out sigh with a smile, "Now stay dead."
"I guess we should get to the others now." Sky walked up to him, she had a small limp.
Inferno looked away, "Sky I'm sorry I couldn't help you. I thought I was strong enough, but when he took me down I thought you were gonna.....I just thought...."
She cut him off with a kiss, "You think too much." She smiled and after a while he smiled back, "Now shall we go and make sure our friends have had as much luck." He nodded and they went back down the path.
Tia and Blaze were about to head back when Rika, Bane, and Blue came in. Bane took a look around the room, "Well at least one of us managed to get our target."
Blaze looked at Errol, "Yeah. So I take it Death flew away again."
Blue nodded, "Yeah he got scared when I showed up. Ohh uhh by the way is there another way out of this place. I kinda had to uhh take destroy the way we used to get in so stop those Biogen guys."
Blaze got ran to a computer and began typeing. As he did Inferno and Sky came in, "Well Sarak's dead and gone. How'd you guys fare?"
Tia pointed to Errol's body, "You tell me."
Rika just sighed, "That damn Death ran away again."
Inferno just shrugged, "he'll turn up again. When he does we just have to break those wings. Then he won't be able to get away."
Bane nodded. Blaze was still typing, "Aha I found another route that hasn't been sealed by some type of explosion. Inferno would you care to lead us out of here."
Inferno looked at the map on the screen then nodded. As they were leaving they heard a laugh. They turned and saw Errols chest heaving up and down, "Ha ha ha ha.......Mwah ha ha ha ha......hee hee heee. I won't die alone I promise you that." He fliped a latch on the console then slammed his hand on a button.
The speaker system turned on, "WARNING: self destruct sequence initiated. Base will detonate in five minutes. Evacuate at once."
Inferno let out a curse, "We have to move now!"
Blaze looked at Errol, "You crazy son of a bitch!" The seven took off down the path that Inferno had memorized. As they went they passed dozens of Biogen agents and scientists all clamering to escape. They were running one way or another and paid no attention to them. As they went the speakers went on again, "Warning: self destruct will engage in four minutes evacuate at once." They kept running through all the confusion in the corridors. Sky's injuries were starting to slow her down and she was falling behind. Then she tripped and couldn't rise, she was just too tired. Inferno darted back to her, "Sky!"
She looked at him, panting, "Just go. I can't go on."
Inferno didn't even bother to listen he grabbed her and flung her on his back, "Just hold on tight." He took back off and the others followed again. The speakers came on again warning them they had three minutes to get out. Bane was getting worried, "Can we make it?"
"So long as none of these Biogen boobs try to stop us yeah." Inferno kept going hoping to god he was right. Tia looked back and saw that a large number of Biogen men were running for the exit to. If they made it they could still keep up this hell, she jumped forward as hard as she could while twisting, she took aim and fired a hyperbeam at the roof causing another collaps, sealing the exit. She barly held balance when she landed. Blaze looked at her, "Damn your looking more and more amazing with every moment." She blushed. When the speaker warned they had two minutes left they had reached the exit and saw went straight out. Inferno looked around and saw that this path would be identicle to the other, when he reached one rock formation he looked for another and went straight for it. When they navigated the path and reached safe land they turned around and waited for the explosion.
"This base will self destruct in 5....4....3.....2.....1...." A massive fire ball erupted out of the cave they had just left, another large ball of fire came out from the mountain as the base was blown apart. To further the destruction the volcanoe began to erupt. The eruption was small, but the lave engulfed most of what the self destruct left behind. Inferno, Bane, Blaze, Sky still on her mates back, Rika, Tia, and Blue all watched as the whole of Biogen went up in flames. Since most of their men must have arrived her then that meant that most of Biogen was dead and gone. Without their two stunning leaders any remnants would mearly try to fade away.
Sky nuzzled Inferno, "You know that was a stupid move back there."
Inferno just smiled, "Hey your looking at a much more powerful Inferno. I knew I could carry you without any trouble." The other stared at him, "I might have joined the genetic alteration club." They saw that his eyes were now two different colors. "Can't blame me. I wanted some insurance that Sarak was going to die."
Blaze smiled, "Welcome to the family then. I guess it's not so bad, but you'll have it well off since you lack any real changes."
Bane was smiling too, "So what now ohh fearless leader?"
"One since when was I elected to lead. And two I guess we'll look for Death, he needs to be dealt with."
Blue scratched his ears, "Well enjoy the hunt. As for me I have other things I need to do."
Inferno nodded, "Thanks for the help. If you hadn't come along we might have had to deal with a bit more than our intended targets."
"And Death would have been a bit more problamatic without your surprise attack." Rika piped in.
Blue nodded then ran off. Blaze watched him go, "Nice to know there are some trustworthy people out there."
Inferno looked at him, "Are you saying we're not trustworthy? After all the hell we went through to help you!" Inferno tried to keep his smile from showing, but failed miserably.
Bane yawned, "Right now I just want to rest. After a day like today a good sleep would be a god send." The others agreed and headed off to find a suitable place to rest.
When they found it Inferno set Sky down gently. She looked up at him, "Thanks hon."
He layed down next to her, "For what? Doing what I had to? You honestly think I would leave you there? Not going to happen. I would have stayed with you if I couldn't carry you. Sky your my life now. Nothing else matters to me as long as I have you."
Sky blushed a little, "Thanks Inferno."
He smiled, "For what?"
Death sored over the remains of the base. Most of it was gone, lost in the lava from the eruption. He flew down to a patch of debris and began sniffing. Soon the debris began to shuffle, then with a massive thrust Sarak emerged from the rubble. Death bowed before him, "I think we underestimated the bond our targets had with their mates."
Sarak scowled, "Indeed."
"So my lord, what shall we do now?"
"We'll gather up whatever Biogen has left. Then we'll make the world bow before me."
Death was confused, "How my lord?"
Sarak smiled, "I had a little project or two that Errol didn't know about. One of them will ensure my rise."
Death bowed low, "By your command, oh dread lord Sarak."
Sarak scowled again, "Next time Inferno, next time."
Alright folks first the puppets are gone. I regained my sanity during all those big climatic battles. *Smiles, then frowns* Sarak is one persistant bastard. Well we now have Biogen all but gone and the group is doing okay. Next chapter we'll see what the guys and girls, and Rika, do. Till then. Puppets what was I thinking. Robots are where its at. And I can connect with them so much better.
