Right in front of us was a Pachirisu. At least, it looked like a Pachirisu.

"Hey Lily, is that a Pachirisu over there?" I asked my Ralts.

"I think so but it looks different."

"How so?"

"It's pink instead of blue."

-OMG THAT'S SO- I began thinking. -Alright, gotta stop that. I might accidentally scare it off. "Hmm," I tried sounding unexcited. "Lily, can you make a mental link between me and that Pachirisu?"

"Of course! Don't underestimate me!" she said with her fist(?) proudly on her chest.

"Alright. Ahem." -Hello over there!- I mentally shouted.

I saw a reaction from the Pachirisu in the distance. -Wh-wh-who's there?- a female voice responded nervously.

-Over here! The human with the Ralts on his head- I was waving my arms to get her attention. -Aren't you gonna come over?-

-W-w-why should I? Y-y-you might try to hurt me!-

-Hmm, guess I'll have to convince her with logic.- I thought to myself, -If I was going to hurt you I would have snuck up on you, wouldn't I?-

-Hmm...that's true...-

I got an idea. -You look hungry. Want something to eat?-

I got an instant response. And by instant I mean she was instantly standing in front of us with hungry eyes. -Wow, that was fast!- I had to watch what I thought and be careful not to lose control. "Okay, let's see what I've got for ya." Fortunately I went shopping before we left Jubilife (bought food mostly picked by Lily - "What? It's tasty!" -, a few accessories for Lily (mostly) and myself, a water purifier, a sewing kit - "You sew? How girly." said the female pokemon - a lighter, some potions and other medical supplies, and some pokechow - "You better not try feeding me that crap!" -.)

-Yay! Pokechow!- she thought while eating it right off my palm.

-Pfft. What a little piggy.- Lily thought to me.

-Quiet you.- I was still mad about lunch.

- - -

We decided to take a rest where we were and eat dinner. I tried my hand at making stew (with instant stew mix of course) with Lily watching over my shoulder the whole time.

"The water's not hot enough!" "You didn't put in enough!" "Stir it faster!" "Ahh! You put in too much!"...and on and on and on until I finished. "'Bout time you finished!" Rude little shit.

As we sat down on my sleeping bag to eat, Rose (that's what the Pachirisu said her name was) was on her third helping of pokechow.

"I guess you haven't eaten in awhile." I said.

"Yes, three days to be exact." I had Lily make it so we heard a translation of Rose's voice instead. (all that mind talking gives you a headache after awhile)

"How'd you get all the way over here, anyway?" Lily asked.

-Quiet Lily. You shouldn't bring up hurtful topics like that.-

Rose must have noticed the look on my face. "It's okay. It was going to come up eventually. I was caught by a trainer up in Route 205. When he found out how weak I was he released me here. He even nicknamed me "Helga"!"

"Haha! That suckz!" Lily naturally replied.

"...And?" I asked.

"Huh? What's he mean "and"?" Lily also naturally replied.

"...You could tell?" I nodded. She looked down at her food. "Before that I lived in with my family in the woods by Floaroma Town. I did something very stupid and dangerous so I was exiled from my community..."

"Wow, you don't seem like the type to do something like that." It was true. She seemed gentle, respectable even. Dangerous and stupid sounds more like...

"Yeah! You could have fooled me!" Lily stated. "So what'd yo-" I cut her off.

-Please don't ask her. It's unlady-like to pry.- Lily pouted but stayed quiet. "Well, how'd you like to come with us?"

"Huh? B-but won't I have to go in that ball again?" she seemed scared.

"Don't worry. I know how to register a pokemon without it having to in the pokeball." I said while opening one up and taking out the disk. "You just gotta keep really still and not resist it at all, okay?"

"But I'm weak..."

"So? Lily was weak just yesterday-"

"Hey!" said pokemon interrupted.

"But now she's quite powerful. I'm just that good." She was the logical type, so I defeated her with logic.

"...I guess I'll go with you then." Victory. I placed the badge on her and she was mine.

"Great. Now that that's settled, let's set up camp, have some fun, and maybe train a little."

"Hey, let's raid Kole's sack for porn!" Lily whispered.

"W-w-what? But that's improper!" Rose whispered back.

"So's looking at porn! We'll dispose of it when we find it."

"Well, I guess it's okay then..."

A few minutes later.

"I got something!" Lily exclaimed as she pulled out a magazine. "Wow. Look at all these girls! They're so tall and well developed."

"Ah, um, but they're wearing clo-"

"Hey, what are you two up to?" I said as I came back from doing my business. I noticed the magazine they were holding. "Hey, that's-"

"Stand back! We've got your porn and we're not giving it back!"

"But that's not-" Both me and Rose started to say when-

"You ain't catching me copper!" Lily shouted as she took off with book and Rose in hand.

"Hey! Get back here!"

"NEVER!"

We didn't do any training. The time was mostly spent with me chasing the two pokemon all around our small camp (for a Ralts, Lily's ridiculuously fast!) and lecturing Lily after since I knew Rose wasn't the culprit. (It was a good thing she only found my artbook and not the actual pr0n)

We were all just relaxing on my sleeping bag since it doubled as a picnic blanket.

"Hey Kole. I wanna listen to your mp3." Lily asked, kinda.

"Sure. Here." I handed it to her.

"...I don't know how to put it on."

... "You have to put the small pieces in your ears." I grabbed one earphone and lifted Lily's hair to put it in when I noticed two things: one, Lily's face was very cute and she even had a very tiny nose and two, her wing-shaped ears didn't have a space to put the earphones in.

"Hmm, just a sec." I went in my bag and got out a pair of headphones I bought because they looked cool. "Let's try these." I said as I placed the headphones on her head and pressed play.

"Wow! That sounds awesome! Thankyou!" she yelled, then took the mp3 player and kissed me on the cheek.

-How sweet.- I decided to check my bag to see if that sneaky professor slipped anything in it. "I thought so." I said as I pulled out what looked like a novel titled "Incomplete guide and manual for the Pokemon Technique user. PokeT". That was odd.

"What's a "Pokemon Technique user"?" Rose asked while looking over my shoulder.

"Oh, hey. I have no idea but the thing on my right wrist is called PokeT for short. It lets me assume the identities of pokemon and use almost all pokemon attacks." I can't believe how simple THAT explaination was!

"Wow." She stared at the PokeT in awe

"Now let's see. 'Welcome to the instruction manual for the..' blah blah bla." I skipped past the introduction. "'The wide variety of attacks was made available by analyzing the attack Metronome and' boring 'also used the elemental stones for' yawn 'Zack and Seth, two humans' god, I don't care how the attacks work! Ah, here we go 'The pokemon identity system' hmm, that's way too much of a coincidence 'The pokemon identity system or PI system for short' thank god they didn't use PIS 'allows the human Kole to take up enough attributes of a pokemon to count for the Effort Value of that pokemon in battle. The pokemon he chooses may cause him to change standard position' cmon! I know all this stuff already! 'Dangers of the PI system' hmm 'There are currently no restrictions on how long Kole can use a PI but there have not been enough test to determine whether prolonged exposure to a PI would cause permanent damage to Kole's genetic code.'"

-WHAT!-

I started reading faster. "'We have assumed that possible damages would include partial infusion of said pokemon's DNA into Kole's. However, since it is impossible for all of Kole's DNA to be replaced, he would not become a Pokemon, instead a Anthro. So far the safe amount of time for use of the PI system is roughly two hours but we are experimenting to find the exact safe time. Kole has agreed to...' to what?" It trailed off there but then another word appeared. "'allow ... us ... to ... record ... his ... experiences ... with ... the ... PokeT ... we ... gave ... him'" -I never agreed to anything.- "'...according ... to ... Professor ... Rowan.'" -That explains it.- I waited awhile but no more text appeared so I closed it and put it away. -Guess it updates when those scientists update their logs.-

"So what did it say?" Rose asked. "You looked a little pale for awhile."

"Oh, it just gave me some more information on how the PokeT works." I honestly told her. No use causing worry, right? -I'd better be careful when going pokemon from now on.- It's not that I'm against anthros (if they exist in this world, though they probably do), it's just that I'd rather stay human.

"Oh. Okay." As she responded I realised how close the cute little fluffball was to me!

-MUST keep cool! Act casual!- "Hey Rose? Is it okay if I hugged you?"

"H-huh?!? W-why?" She looked a little scared but she was also blushing.

"No reason. It's just that your fur looks really soft." -Brilliant! I'm positive she would take pride in her coat!-

She blushed a deeper shade of red. "W-well then, I suppose it's okay," she said as she sat in my lap.

I hugged her but made sure not to show my excitement. -Wow. His embrace is so comfortable.- Rose thought.

I, on the other hand, -OMGSHESOCUTEANDSOFTANDHUGGABLEANDCUDDLELYANDICOULDJUSTDOTHISFOREVER!!!!!!!!!-

All the while Lily was dancing to my mp3 player.

I didn't get much sleep that night, partially due to Lily's violent sleeping habits yet mostly due to having Rose sleeping right beside me (we all shared my sleeping bag). After packing up we went on the trail again.

"So, where are we going?" The pink Pachirisu asked.

"We're going to Oreburgh City for my first gym battle and to deliver a package," I replied. I then noticed that trainers were avoiding us (some even ran away screaming.)

"Why do those humans look afraid of you?" Rose asked again.

"Well..."

"They're afraid of me!" Lily replied.

"See, we kinda defeated a few trainers yesterday and they seem to have warned others about us."

"Wow, you're that notorious already..." Rose muttered.

"..." I took the chance to check Rose's stats. -Hmm, lvl.2 only. Nature: Modest. She's definitely more modest than Lily.-

We encountered a few pokemon but I took them out myself (didn't want them screwing up their EV training). It also gave me a chance to practice my attacks.

"Umm, Kole? Why won't you let us battle?" Rose asked.

"Don't worry! I'll tell her." Lily said before I could respond. As she and Rose talked about Effort Values we eventually reached the entrance to Oreburgh Gate.

"Let's set up camp here for today."

"Why?" both pokemon asked.

"One, we have to go through that cave there to get to Oreburgh," I said while pointing at said cave, "And two, we should train before trying to take on a gym leader." I tried not to directly say Rose needed the training.

"Alright! You two ready?" I asked the two. I figured it would save time if I trained them both together.

"Uh-huh," Lily said.

"Yes!" Rose said, determined.

I got a PI ready. "Then let's-" I stopped.

"Kole? What's wrong? Why'd you stop?" Lily kept asking me.

"Quiet." Someone was watching us. I don't know how I knew, the air, the sound, whatever, but I knew! "Who's out there! Show yourself!" I shouted as I picked up a rock. I tried to sense it. . . "There!" I said as I launched the rock at a nearby tree.

Out of the tree came a pink Buneary (I must be a Shiny magnet) wearing a red scarf. "Lily, open a connection between the four of us."

"Gotcha boss!"

"...don't call me 'boss'." I looked at the Buneary. -Why were you watching us?- I thought as I got out Dex to scan the Buneary.

-Oh, you just noticed now?- a boyish voice responded. -My name's Bit. I've been following you guys for awhile now. At first I thought you were just one of those 'natural' trainers, with you pokemon out like that but then I saw you using attacks with that thing on your wrist.-

-I see.- I thought while trying not to laugh at the pink male rabbit. Dex had just finished scanning the Buneary. He was lvl. 18 and adamant yet he didn't have any EVs at all. But the most interesting thing was his gender: 'he' was a hermaphrodite. -So that means s/he can spawn a child and give birth to it?- I carelessly thought.

-EWWWWWWWW!!!!!- Both of my girls thought loudly. (-I've gotta watch what I think-)

-Hey! I may be a herm but I think of myself as a MAN!!!- Bit thought to us. -Ahem, anyway, I came here to challenge you to battle. If you win I'll go with you. If you lose I'll leave you be.-

-Okay. Bring it on.- I thought back.

-One more thing. You can't use that device to fight me.- he thought while pointing at the PokeT.

"Kole?" Lily said to me with a worried look on her face, which was odd.

"Don't worry. Besides," -it would just get in the way otherwise.- I thought while handing the PokeT to Lily and pulling my headband down a bit.

-Very well. Oh, and...Lily, was it? Please cut the connection so we may have a fair fight.-

Lily decided to act as a referee, kinda.

"Are both sides ready?" she asked. Bit took a fighting stance as did I, although all of my fighting techniques are all self-taught (Uh-oh). I spread my legs, bent my arms and turned my body so my right arm was in front.

"Hey, that's-" Rose started to say as I took my stance.

"BEGIN!" Lily shouted

Bit charged at me with both ears curled. I got ready, then dodged the punch. I was careless and almost got hit by the second ear. -He must know Double Hit.- I countered with a punch of my own. It must've been too fast for the pokemon because I knocked him to the ground.

"Yay! Go Kole!" Both Lily and Rose cheered me on using pompoms Lily had me buy (never figured out why she had be buy four of them though).

Bit got back up and his mouth glowed light blue. -Must be an Ice Beam.- He fired, but instead of dodging, -Two degrees down, four to the left.- I thought to myself. The slight change in position allowed the beam to pass right by my head but completely miss me. Bit had a shocked look on his face but then charged me again, this time with only one ear curled. I stood still and braced myself but the Buneary got underneath me and launched a Sky Uppercut right at my jaw. It would have been the end of me if I didn't lean back at the last second. It still grazed my chin though and sent me rolling backwards, landing on my stomach.

-Darn, I gotta find a way to finish this.- I thought as I got up. I surveyed my surroundings and noticed a couple of trees to the right of us. -Perfect.- I switched strategy and went on the offensive. This surprised the Buneary enough for me to knock him into the woods. -Now to finish this.- I thought as I ran after him. When I caught up he was still stunned so I kicked him up, football style, and pinned him to a tree by the neck with my right arm and pounded him with my left. I launched him upwards with my left elbow and finished him off with a backflip kick straight to the head sending him straight into the ground behind me.

"Next time Knite won't be so merciful," I suddenly said. -Huh? Why'd I say that?-

As I was trying to figure out who, or what, Knite was I finally noticed Bit's condition. "HOLY SHIT! Lily! Port over here with my bag!"

"Here you go Kole," Lily said while placing a band-aid on my cheek. I was a little bruised and had a few scratches (and a major one on my cheek) but it was nothing compared to our Buneary friend. Bit was hurt really bad, and I mean REALLY bad (if I went into detail I probably wouldn't be able to stomach it) so it was a good thing I had those potions (I had to use six potions before he started to look better).

"Are you hurt Kole?" Rose asked.

"I'm more worried about Bit. He still hasn't woken up," I said while looking at the bandaged pokemon. His head was resting on my lap while I was trying to comfort him with some petting. I also had Lily create a link between us all so we'd know when he woke up. "So Lily, what's he dreaming about?"

"He's dreaming of defeating you. And trust me, you don't want the details," Lily explained, "In fact, some of the stuff he's dreaming about is similar to those bad things I saw in your head. Especially with the rope and-" I cut her off with my hand before she could say anymore.

"Huh? Rope?" Rose looked at me with a confused look on her face.

"Trust me, you're not old enough to know that stuff." I said while petting her on the head.

"What are you talking about? I'm 18!" She seemed pissed. I thought about asking how's she was so weak even though she was an adult (more or less) but when I saw the sparks fly I decided not to.

"What? You're 18?" Lily asked innocently.

"Yes. And just so you know, pokemon years are the same as human years," she said matter-of-factly (-Huh. So she's the same age as me.-)

"Wow. I thought you were closer to my age, considering how weak you are." As Lily said that I took Bit and CAREFULLY snuck away out of firing range.

"How old are you?" Rose asked.

"Just hatched two days ago," Lily said with a wide grin.

That's when Rose snapped. "WHHHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT!!!!!!!!!" she screamed, her cheeks sparking like mad.

From the camp's new location (a safe distance away from the entrance) I saw a Pikachu-esque show of electricity fly into the sky (albiet blue).

"Guess she finally learned Discharge," I said to myself while changing Bit's bandages.

- - -

After the light show Rose wandered over to us looking exausted. As soon as she reached us she plopped her head right on my lap (fortunately Bit was moved to my sleeping bag). And by us I mean myself, Bit, and Lily (she teleported on top of my head screaming profanities, that she apparently knew, about almost dying).

A little while later Bit started talking in his sleep. "Mmm, niichan."

"Huh, wonder who he's talking about," I said, apparently to myself since Lily was taking revenge by causing Rose nitemares.

"Huh?" I heard Bit say. "What happened?"

"Hey, you finally woke up." I said naturally. "You had us worried for awhile. How do ya feel?"

"..." he must have just noticed the link. "A lot better than I had expected. Especially considering I took the full force of that move. What do you call it?"

"Hmm, I think I called that my Blazing Combo but I've never used it on someone before." In fact, I never used it period. It was just an idea in my head. (Crowded apartment. No room to practice moves like that.)

"Wow, that's amazing. And the way you fought was cool too."

"You were pretty good as well." He didn't seem to be asking about Knite. -Guess he fainted before I said it.-

"Well, I'm ready." He covered his eyes with his fluffy pink ears and put his arms out. "Put me in the ball."

"I'm not that cruel," I said as I put the pokebadge (yes, that's what I'm gonna call it. So sue me.) on him. It disappeared with it's usual red light. "There, now you're registered to me."

"Oh." He seemed a little disappointed. -Maybe he wanted to go in the ball.- "Hey, wanna go in the pokeball?"

"Huh? N-n-no! I've been in a lot of pokeballs before, although I've never been caught until now," he said while blushing.

-Maybe he's a maso? That would explain the bondage dream.- (Incase you didn't know, maso's secretly dream of becoming sado's, even if they won't admit it.) "Oh yeah, who's niichan? You said it in your sleep."

"What are you talking about? You're niichan niichan."

Huh? "What do you mean?"

"Well, where I come from, we considered those we respect family and therefore call him niichan or her neechan. We only take one though."

"What do you call your real brothers and sisters then?"

"Oniisan and oneesan."

"Ah." Just then Lily noticed that Bit was awake.

"Heya! I thought you were dead!"

"..."

After Rose woke up we all had dinner (I was more courageous so I cooked the hotdogs Lily picked out). After dinner none of us were tired so we decided to finally do some training. First off was Rose and Lily against my Kadabra PI (Bit asked why he couldn't train too so I explained how EVs worked) and next was a rematch between Bit and me (using a Machamp PI though). After that there was a quick 3-on-1 with a Geodude PI and then we spent the rest of the night playing a game I like to call "Catch the Crobat".

When I woke up in the morning (at 10:00am) I checked the stats of the sleeping pokemon. Bit was now at lvl 19 with 200 Atk EVs, 4 Def and 150 Spd. I checked further and he seemed to know all of the attacking bred moves as well. Lily made it up to lvl 15, learned Double Team and now had 252 SpAs, and the same Def and Spd as Bit. Rose made a major improvement, making it all the way to lvl 13, learning all the moves up to that lvl as well as Discharge and Charge somehow, (don't know, don't care). Her EVs were the same as Bit's except with SpAs instead of Atks.

I decided to wake them up a half-hour later so we could go through Oreburgh Gate. It was a fair bit longer than the game made it appear to be, with trainers and pokemon running from us.

10 minutes later we were out of that cave.

"Alright guys, welcome to Oreburgh City."Chapter End Notes:This was seriously a lot longer than I expected it to be. I just kept coming up with things to add to it. Anyway, next will be Kole's first Gym battle for the Coal badge. Get it? Kole, Coal? I crack myself up
