Yellow: *adjusting the camera.* It's so wrong. I'm the one that has to standby and watch the others have fun while I'm just stuck here. Well lets see.. I was right. Athem. Last time Link was the target of a rocket attack and he's holding them off until the Zangoose that is his father-sensei, Masamune, Inferno, Sky, and the crew joined in... and the rescued water fem too. It's going to be intersting seeing how this new addition will work. One thing for sure... *look to the TV screen showing Death.* This puppy is probably not happy about this new upstart... or the fact he' traveling with an old foe that has skill nearly equal to his teacher. Well congradulations.. Team Ten is here!
Mecha: *off camera, and voice distrorted from distance* Oh...so nice...I can't...believe...I actually...ohhhh....
Yellow: ...Well... I might not be able to play but I can watch...*about to sneak by but remembered.* ... OH.. um.. enoy the story and I'll see you after the chapter. *changes camera from the cave to the heroes.*
Sky awoke early, a lot earlier then she would have liked. The sun was just rising as stretched out, a small groan escaping her. She opened her eyes and saw that Link was already up himself. With another light groan she got up and walked over, sitting next to him, "You're a morning person huh?"
Link looked at her, then looked back to the horizon, "No...just woke up much like you did."
She giggled, "Sucks...don't it?"
He nodded, a small snicker escaping, "So...Death's changed huh?"
Sky nodded, "Yeah. Thought...believe me...none of us were to convinced of it at first." Link nodded, "But...he was so dead set on saving Ferra...Inferno felt we should give him a chance."
Link sighed, "Ah...I take it he's the big leader of your group again?"
Sky smiled, "Yeah...he's the best one for the job after all." she let out a content sigh, "But even if he wasn't leading...it wouldn't matter to me...I've got my Inferno back...that's all that matters."
Link closed his eyes, keeping himself from showing emotion, "You seem a lot happier with him around. You really do love him don't you."
Sky nodded, "Yeah...more than anything else in the world." she giggled, "What about you Link? Anyone special in your life...anyone you want to make into a momma some day."
Link looked away, glad his skull hid his blush, "Well...actually...that's why I'm traveling around...otherwise I'd of returned to my foster family."
Sky tilted her head, "oh? Mind sharing the story with me."
Link looked at her, then nodded, "I suppose I should start with how this all began. Now, my life wasn't easy. My mom tried her best to raise me when I was small. My mom and I defended the tower well. She helped me understand the spirits and showed me that the world was full of all kinds of spirits but to beware of some of them." He looked down and sighed, "Just my luck one of them was to visit my mom on the day she met her love. A Pink Lopunny with a broken heart tattoo on her back tried to ask my mom to see the book so she can try to raise the dead on her own in order to try and revive someone she wanted. My mom said no and tried to force her out but didn't expect to get struck with an Ice Punch...that speared though her. I was in a state of shock seeing my mom fall that I couldn't run up to her until the Lopunny left. My mom told me where she hid the Tomb of the Dead. On my mom's dying breath I held onto her, before burying her and hiding the book in a new location to try and keep it safe." Sky looked at him, feeling sorry for what he had gone through.
"After I did all that, I left home with my mom's weapon and my own to try and find a home for myself. That's when I met Father-Sensei. He took me in even with a family of his own. It was a year after he took me in that I asked him if I could be a student under his battle style since I learned he used to teach others how to battle. He did just that and showed me moves that he said wouldn't be used by a class without claws. I tried it still and did very well to adapt to the moves he showed me. When I was old enough I decided to head off to try and make him proud by swearing that I would be back when I take care of the one that took my mother from this world and find the one I was ment to protect. It was probably a pair of months before I ment you was when I met that Lopunny... looking all over for the Tomb and I challenged her to find it since she wanted it so badly. I let her have it with all the fury that built up knowing that she was the one that only cared about herself and would even break the hearts of the one she touched to get what she wanted. I had her on her own final hour when I asked her why she wanted to revive someone to the point of killing another. She said she'd find the treasure that would set her for life...that all males would have come to her. That disgusted me to the point I snuffed her out. I left her for the necromanic creatures to take care of her. I healed up afterward to try and find someone to mean something to my life. That was when I met you."
Sky nodded, "Uh huh." she smiled, "What about Tensa?"
Link sighed, "Tensa... She was one my father-Sensei's daughter but I enjoyed her company. She saw me like a great friend than a brother and I was a little lost in how she was besides me and encouraging me to keep training. She and I grew up together and I had some thoughts about her, but well...I wasn't sure if it would be acceptable considering I was under the study of her father. I probably would have been thrown out for such a thing but I kept her in my mind while I was traveling. I just wish I could have came home to see on the family even if it was for only a day since I didn't want to fully return without someone that I cared for to defend."
Sky nodded, "I understand." she shook her head, "But...you know...you can't go looking for love...you'll never find it...Love finds us. When we least suspect it." she giggled, "Me and Inferno met by chance...at least...I like to think we did..." she sighed, "I thought we did...until Orochi told us of everything he planned."
Link smiled, "And despite knowing that you stick with him. Orochi made the mistake of introducing you two."
Sky nodded, "Right...though he wanted Inferno to meet me...it was because me and Inferno cared for one another that our love blossomed." she smiled, "Sorry...I got sidetracked." she cleared her throat, "Like I said...you can't go looking for love. Who know's...maybe you did have someone to protect that you cared for deeply all along...but you're just to shy, or simple, to see it."
Link eyed her, "What do you mean?"
Sky smiled more, "Only this...love isn't something we can go around looking for." she stood up, "Love comes to us...showing us that we care for someone who's helped us...stayed around to protect us. Maybe that person we've always known...but didn't think it could be more than friends." she gave a small sigh, "Love comes to us...showing us who we truely want to be with...making the world shine...just from the sight of their face." She turned and headed for Inferno, who was starting to stir. Link just sat there, blinking and deep in thought.
Inferno smiled, as he felt a lick to his face. He slowly opened his eyes, seeing Sky's smiling face. He licked her back, "Morning beautiful."
She giggled, "Morning yourself." she nuzzled him. "I thought that was so romantic what you said last night."
He smiled, returning the nuzzle, "I just told her what I felt when I was around you." Sky blushed, smiling, as she kissed him, and he happily returned the affection.
Rika was snoring lightly, a smile on her face as she layed on her back next to Bane. Bane was sleeping quietly, happy in his dream. But he got a rude awakening when a foot crashed into the side of his face. He shook his head, and looked about, then saw Rika, still snoring, her foot retracting back toward her. He growled and gave a nip to the side of her rump.
Which was a big mistake. She bolted up and let out some electricity, shocking him, and getting him to yelp. Blaze, Tia, Ferra and Masamune all jumped awake. Bane groaned, "Ow...damn it Rika."
Rika glared, "Hey...who nipped my rear!?"
He glared back, "You kicked me in the face while I was sleeping!"
"Can you two shut up?" Death was still coiled, looking like he was asleep, till he opened one eye, "For crying out loud...I was hoping for a peaceful morning."
"FUCK YOU!!!" the two shouted in unison.
Death looked at them, "I bet you two would." he chuckled, "Along with the rest of your friends..." he smirked, "Oh...did I forget to mention how much you guys stunk of..." he just smiled, "Well...it was when we first met in Ferra's cave."
Inferno, Sky, Rika, Bane, Tia and Blaze blushed, looking away. Ferra eyed Death, "What do you mean?"
Death chuckled, "I guess I'll be nice and won't tell you...besides...I rather not have one of the females yank my head off."
Tia, Rika and Sky couldn't surpress their laughs. Inferno and Bane did a little better job then the girls, but still chuckled loud enough to be heard. Death stretched, "Well...shall we get going. I mean...we do have a zangoose to save after all." He yawned. It was quite obvious that since Death saved Ferra, he wasn't in a rush anymore. Noth that they minded though, since Death was still going to fight, but not with that rush forward attitude that pushed them to get to the base with Ferra.
Eventually though, the group was up and heading back toward the Rocket base where Tensa should have been held. They still had about two weeks of traveling to do to get there though, and that was only if nothing happened to detour them from the path. Which of course was a very strong probability given their track record. Something Death brought up, and Rika quick zapped his rear, "Don't say that! You're gonna make it happen!"
Death growled, "I'm just saying! You lot do have a habit of bad luck."
Inferno sighed, "As much as I hate to say it...he's right."
Just then a smeargle ran out from the nearby forest, screaming, before running past the group, pointing to them, "THEY DID IT!!!" he kept running screaming, as they heard buzzing. Turning back to where he had just emerged they saw a swarm of beedrill charging.
Death sighed, "I knew it." He picked up Ferra and ran for the river...which was down the hill. "To the water!"
Blaze eyed it, "...I'll take my chances with the buhhhhuh...put me down!" Tia had grabbed him and was running as fast as she could. Inferno, Sky, Link, Masamune, Bane, and Rika were right behind them. The Tia tripped, and began rolling, as Blaze tried to escape, "I'm not going in the water!" But he didn't have much choice. Death and Ferra splashed in first, Tia and Blaze next. Inferno hesitated a bit, but Sky nudged him in, following. Rika and Bane lept in, with Masamune and Link last in. The bedrill hovered over the water a bit, before turning back and heading off. The group surfaced, Blaze the first one onto dry land, "I...HATE...WATER!!!"
Tia sighed, pulling herself out, "I know Blaze." they gave their bodies shakes to get the water off. Inferno was next, and also did the same. Sky sighed, grumbling as her fur was made a mess. But Inferno's little grooming technique fixed that, before she returned the favor. Rika and Bane did shake dries, as did Death. Masamune and Link planned to drip dry, and Ferra was still in the water, relaxing.
Blaze grumbled, "where's that smeargle!? I'm gonna kill him!"
Death sighed, "I don't know. Honestly...I just think it's your luck."
Rika glared, "None of us got attacked by a bunch of..." she stopped...since Bane only bumped into them because he was chased by some bedrill.
Ferra giggled, "What's so wrong with the water? I find it soothing." she was floating on her back, hands behind her head. Death chuckled, as he used a tentacle to pick her up, "Hey!" she laughed.
He eyed her, "we need to keep moving. Or did you forget."
She sighed, "Oh...alright." he smiled and set her down on his back, before they returned to the path. Ferra was happily clutching to Death's neck, just loose enough to avoid choking him.
Inferno was eyeing the two and smiling, as he nudged Sky, "Don't they look cute together?"
Sky giggled, licking his cheek, "Almost as cute as you." He smiled, blushing a bit.
Night began to descend on the group, so they decided to take to a small clearing in the forest, curling up in the same fashion they had the night before. The only real difference was that Ferra was slightly closer to Death...not that anyone but he noticed.
A few minutes passed by, as some of the group drifted off into dreamland. Ferra hadn't though, she had gone onto her back, and was staring up at the sky, "Hey...Death." she whispered.
He turned to her, "Yeah?"
She stayed silent for a bit, "I asked Inferno a question last night."
He nodded, "I know. I was awake." he gave a soft chuckle, "He's such a romantic fool."
She smiled, "Yeah." she sighed, "You know...I...do have that feeling when I'm around someone though."
Death ear's perked, "Oh?"
She nodded, "Yeah...he's sweet...kind...compassionate...handsome."
His ears dropped, "...oh."
She nodded some more, "Yeah...he makes me happy when he's just around." she looked at him, "You think I should tell him that I love him?"
Death kept himself in line, though...on the inside...he was being torn apart. He hated himself so much right then and there...he wanted to lay down and die...just to escape his self made suffering. He forced himself to smile, "Yeah...I'm sure...he'd be happy to know that. And very lucky."
Ferra nodded, smiling, "Alright...I will." Death shut his eyes and prepared to go to sleep...hopefully to never wake up.
Then he felt lips on his. His eyes shot open like a bullet to see Ferra kissing him. She pulled her head back, and he thought he could see a blush in her fur, though in the moonlight it was nearly impossible to be certain. She smiled, "I...love you Death."
He couldn't respond, he didn't know how. He just stared at her, mouth agape. Ferra began thinking she made a mistake, and tried to turn away, when two tentacles gently pulled her to his fur, and he began to nuzzle her. She could see...tears...he was crying. "I...I didn't think...after everything I did you'd...I...Ferra I'm so..."
She nuzzled back, "I don't care what you did." she wrapped her paws around his neck, "I only care about what you're doing now. And that's being a sweet and caring male." she smiled, licking his cheek, "And that's...the kind of male I want to be my mate."
Death kept her wrapped in his hug, a smile seemingly welded onto his face. She kept a hold of him as well, her smile not once wavering. Death was overjoyed...he didn't think it was possible...that she'd actually love him...after everything he had told her...she still wanted HIM, no one else. The thought alone made him feel like a pup again...only this time...he wasn't being ignored, he wasn't unwanted.
Link was awake during the conversation...and he let out an inaudiable sigh. "Even Death has found someone." he thought to himself, "I can't believe it...I've been beaten to love by an ex-monster who raped and killed." Maybe Sky was right...maybe he couldn't just go out and find love. Maybe love would find him.
Bane was also awake, and he hated to admit it...but he was happy for Death. "Maybe now brother...you'll have the affection...mom never gave you." he thought. He curled tight around Rika, who was sleeping peacefully, latching onto him as she dreamt. He licked her, smiling happily, "It's a wonderful feeling...isn't it Death." he continued in his head, "To hear those words from someone you adore...someone you want to protect no matter what the cost to you is." he gave a small laugh, "It's wonderful not to have hate anymore...isn't it."
*Jewel is with Mecha as it's a time after the show ended.......the lemon vixen sleeping near the camera as it was on.*
Mecha: *smiling happily* I have to say Jewel...that was the best I've ever had. Not even Pink could make me feel that...well...good.
Jewel: Well your welcome. ! Oh shit.. MECHA we forgot!
Mecha: ! *gulps* Oops.
Jewel: Yellow must have covered our tails afterward...should we check to see what she said before or after she talked?

Jewel: Well Sky helped someone realize what love could be but he has to deal with his sensei.

Sky giggled, licking his cheek, "Almost as cute as you." He smiled, blushing a bit.
Night began to descend on the group, so they decided to take to a small clearing in the forest, curling up in the same fashion they had the night before. The only real difference was that Ferra was slightly closer to Death...not that anyone but he noticed.
A few minutes passed by, as some of the group drifted off into dreamland. Ferra hadn't though, she had gone onto her back, and was staring up at the sky, "Hey...Death." she whispered.
He turned to her, "Yeah?"
She stayed silent for a bit, "I asked Inferno a question last night."
He nodded, "I know. I was awake." he gave a soft chuckle, "He's such a romantic fool."
She smiled, "Yeah." she sighed, "You know...I...do have that feeling when I'm around someone though."
Death ear's perked, "Oh?"
She nodded, "Yeah...he's sweet...kind...compassionate...handsome."
His ears dropped, "...oh."
She nodded some more, "Yeah...he makes me happy when he's just around." she looked at him, "You think I should tell him that I love him?"
Death kept himself in line, though...on the inside...he was being torn apart. He hated himself so much right then and there...he wanted to lay down and die...just to escape his self made suffering. He forced himself to smile, "Yeah...I'm sure...he'd be happy to know that. And very lucky."
Ferra nodded, smiling, "Alright...I will." Death shut his eyes and prepared to go to sleep...hopefully to never wake up.
Then he felt lips on his. His eyes shot open like a bullet to see Ferra kissing him. She pulled her head back, and he thought he could see a blush in her fur, though in the moonlight it was nearly impossible to be certain. She smiled, "I...love you Death."
He couldn't respond, he didn't know how. He just stared at her, mouth agape. Ferra began thinking she made a mistake, and tried to turn away, when two tentacles gently pulled her to his fur, and he began to nuzzle her. She could see...tears...he was crying. "I...I didn't think...after everything I did you'd...I...Ferra I'm so..."
She nuzzled back, "I don't care what you did." she wrapped her paws around his neck, "I only care about what you're doing now. And that's being a sweet and caring male." she smiled, licking his cheek, "And that's...the kind of male I want to be my mate."
Death kept her wrapped in his hug, a smile seemingly welded onto his face. She kept a hold of him as well, her smile not once wavering. Death was overjoyed...he didn't think it was possible...that she'd actually love him...after everything he had told her...she still wanted HIM, no one else. The thought alone made him feel like a pup again...only this time...he wasn't being ignored, he wasn't unwanted.
Link was awake during the conversation...and he let out an inaudiable sigh. "Even Death has found someone." he thought to himself, "I can't believe it...I've been beaten to love by an ex-monster who raped and killed." Maybe Sky was right...maybe he couldn't just go out and find love. Maybe love would find him.
Bane was also awake, and he hated to admit it...but he was happy for Death. "Maybe now brother...you'll have the affection...mom never gave you." he thought. He curled tight around Rika, who was sleeping peacefully, latching onto him as she dreamt. He licked her, smiling happily, "It's a wonderful feeling...isn't it Death." he continued in his head, "To hear those words from someone you adore...someone you want to protect no matter what the cost to you is." he gave a small laugh, "It's wonderful not to have hate anymore...isn't it."
*Jewel is with Mecha as it's a time after the show ended.......the lemon vixen sleeping near the camera as it was on.*
Mecha: *smiling happily* I have to say Jewel...that was the best I've ever had. Not even Pink could make me feel that...well...good.
Jewel: Well your welcome. ! Oh shit.. MECHA we forgot!
Mecha: ! *gulps* Oops.
Jewel: Yellow must have covered our tails afterward...should we check to see what she said before or after she talked?
Mecha: Uhh...let's check it out. *listens* Oh god...*blushes* She didn't...
Jewel: *blink* What?
Mecha: *turns to her and whispers in ear* She was watching us.
Jewel: ! Oh my....
Mecha: *nods* We'll need to talk with her later. *turns to camera* Well...looks like Ferra's confessed she loves Death. Now the only question is...how long till the two slap fur.
Jewel: *smirks* Yea... though you know inner termoil is going to start eventually.
Mecha: *eyes her* Oh?
Jewel: Well Sky helped someone realize what love could be but he has to deal with his sensei.
Mecha: Ahh. *nods* Point. *smiles* Well that about wraps things up for this chapter. *turns to Jewel* Oh and Jewel...*gives a quick kiss*
Jewel: *Chuckle* Thanks... anyhow we'll help deal with yellow while you get your next chapter taste ready.
