Mecha: *out of the ice cast* Hey all! I'm back up to full speed, *looks to Blue* thanks to the lovely, and tender touch of the ice and water fem.
Blue: at Least your welecome, *chuckle* Just be careful ok since you know Orange got you hard like that.
Mecha: *smiles* Perhaps I could repay you...I mean...you must do so much, and work up so much stress. *rubs against* I know a perfect way to relieve that stress too.
Blue: That's flattering but since Jewel is training on her socery with Green we got the cave to ourselves.
Mecha: *nuzzles* Exactly...I can help you experiance something amazing...while the audience reads about what happens while Death is in the group. *licks cheek* Please, I want to show my gratitude.
Blue: *Covers his muzzle* Enjoy Team five everyone. And please read it all...since he made with care.
Mecha: *Tail wags*
Death grumbled. It had been a day since Ferra had been captured, and his wing was still in bad shape, so he couldn't fly. He sighed, it didn't really matter though, since he had to stay with them. He didn't look back at the group, he didn't need to, he knew they were all glaring at him.
And he was right, Inferno, Sky, Rika, Bane, Blaze, and Tia were all glaring, not letting him out of their sight for a minute. Bane and Rika's vidual was especially intense, but it was to be expected with their history with him. Inferno didn't think they could trust Death completly, though he did seem sincere about saving Ferra, there was the chance Death would turn on them without a second thought. Sky wasn't really sure how to feel about Death, he did seem to want nothing more to do with them, and after dieing 3 times she could understand that, but after everything he had done, she just didn't want to admit he could be anything but filth. Blaze just gave Death an amplified treatment he gave others. Tia was just as confused as Sky, she could feel Death was changed, but...she couldn't believe it... he was Death!
Everyone's thoughts were interuppted by Rika's stomach growl. Death sparred a glace back, before Bane's added to the chorus. Death's was the next to growl, which got a faint blush on his face. Inferno smiled, "I guess we're taking a break for food."
Death turned, "Can't we do that settling down for the night? We need to keep moving."
Inferno shook his head, "And if we find them? What good are we hungry and weak?" Death sighed, but moved to a river, and began looking for fish.
Rika glared, "Can't go a day without meat...filth."
Death didn't turn to look back at her, "I'm not giving up what I like to eat just because of you...Bane I can understand...but we don't even like one another so...deal with it."
Rika sparked up, as Inferno sighed, "Rika, he has a point...but don't be a dick about it!" he said to them. Rika growled, as Death shrugged, and snatched up a plump barboach. He tossed it on the ground and snapped it's neck with a bite. He then went about eating it without delay. The others gathered what they could from the trees, and bushes, since they had all grown used to eating berries and fruits. Rika and Bane were glaring at Death all through their meal, Death chose to ignore them. Sky looked to Inferno, "Are you sure it was smart to let him come along?"
Inferno sighed, "Not much choice...he wouldn't have stayed behind. Plus...he seems to really want to save Ferra. Why? I don't know."
Sky eyed Death, "You think he really does like her?"
Inferno nodded, "Yeah...but I don't know if he loves her. Granted, I'm amazed he would even see her as a friend."
Sky nodded, "Yeah. I suppose I can give him some trust...for now." Inferno gave a nod in agreement.
Tia and Blaze were also eyeing Death, Tia sighed, "I can't believe he's changed, I can feel it but..."
Blaze nodded, "I know...he's the bastard that's tried to kill us more times then I care to count." he sighed, while Tia shook her head.
They all finished up eating, and went back to walking down the path, all of them back in formation. Death at the head and to the side, while the others stood back, keeping an eye on him. And that's how it stayed, with no talking or any communication what so ever, until night finally decended. They decided to stop at a clearing with a pond, which they use to get a drink from, and they also got a small snack out of the berries around it, even Death munched on a few.
When that was done, Death slept a good distance from the others, by mutual want, and soon they were all asleep. The night slowly creeped on, until Rika awoke, grumbling a bit, and thirsty. She got up and went to the pond, leaned her head down and took her fill. When she got up she turne back, "Your name is Rika...right?"
She turned and glared at Death, his eyes were open, and looking a little to the side of her, "Yeah it is...of course why would you learn the name of the female you raped..." she tried to keep it down, but it was hard with how angry she was.
Death remained silent for so long, she turned and was about to head to her friends, when he finally spoke up, "I'm sorry for what I did Rika."
She turned around and quick, "What?"
He sighed, "I know it will never make up for what I did...and it was a poor way to make my brother suffer...but for what it's worth...I apologize for it...and I'd take it away if I could."
She just stared at him, as he closed his eyes and went back to bed. She shook her head, and went back to the others, curled in, and forced herself back to sleep. When morning came Inferno was up to see Death up, getting a drink. When he finished he turned to Inferno, "well...one up...that's a start." he sighed laying back down, "Don't suppose you could wake your friends so we can keep moving."
Inferno stared, "You seem really eager to save her, why?"
Death sighed, "I told you, she helped me, so I'm returning the favor. I don't doubt I'd be dead if not for her."
Inferno eyed him, "I don't think you're being completly honest...but, I don't care, I do know you want to save her. And for now that's good enough for me." Death shrugged, as Inferno began to wake the others. When they were all up, they began moving again, the same formation as before...only Rika seemed to be staring at Death confused.
The path then took them to a steep incline, Death growled, wishing his wing was good, but it still wasn't. They made their way up it, and when they were done, he looked to the side, and saw it was a long drop to the rushing river. He shook his head, as they continued on. As they walked on Death began to feel uneasy, "I've got a feeling we're in someone's territory."
Bane glared, "And what makes you say that?"
"Because...there's the scent, the claw markings...and the fact...we're being watched."
A chuckle was heard, "Very perceptive. I'm impressed." a garchomp walked out from the woods to the other side, along with him were several gabite. "You are in our territory. And that's not a smart thing to do. I'll expect you to pay in meat of course. We like stantler, but...we'll settle for some electric rodentia."
Rika looked at them, "What?"
Death smirked, "He's refering to you. I see you like to use big words. Well...I'm going to extirpate and exterminate you Odious offals."
The garchomp glared, "Supercilious scoundrel! I shall make you supplicate my sympathy!"
"Aggress me then milquetoast, that I may render judgment and consequential castigation." Death smiled, enjoying the banter. Rika's eyes were spinning, she didn't know a single word that had just been exchanged.
The garchomp growled, "Liquidate, mutilate, eradicate, and desolate them all!" the gabites charged. Rika didn't need to know what was happening now, she and the others charged back, and the battle ensued.
Inferno smiled, he had five garbites on him, "I'm going to ravage, ravish, raze, and ruin you all!" He knocked one into a tree, and the others got firey shadow ball blasts. But they were soon up, and going at him with slashes and bites, Inferno was surprised, "striking" he smiled as he knocked one into the ground with his dark fire tail.
Sky smiled, "Come hither, so that my wind may rive you to pieces!" she giggled, and sliced one's head off with a razor wind. Four more were on her, and were bickering who's get to eat her legs, "Such unfledged talk. I shall make you all languish for that!" She blasted them all with a hyper beam.
Bane was smiling, "Confront me only if you're stalwart or injudicious." He charged forward, and began biting and iron tailing. He was knocking about the four on him with ease, as they cursed and tried to must a counter attack. One managed to bite on to Bane's tail...and was taken for a ride into his comrades.
Rika was ready for a fight, "Umm...come to...and face...my...incredulous power-u-lous...might-us!?" she sighed. As the gabites laughed, she took the opportunity to strike them with an iron tail, sending them back and into trees. "Let that be a lesson...I'm a superiorlous fightergen...with...with...I kick ass!" She batted her chest smiling.
Tia and Blaze were being silent, and battering down attacker after attacker, not letting up for an instant, and neither were their foes. But it soon became obvious the duo were way to much for their paltry number of 10, and there weren't other's about so the tooks steps away from them.
Death and the garchomp were biting, and flinging their appendages at one another. They were also exchanging words that Rika could keep up with, but Death was loving it. He met every move the garchomp had, and then countered it, when the garchomp would slash, he'd dodge then strike with a tentacle, and with every bite, he'd use a shadow ball. A fire blast, which was rare, would be met with a bite, and thus Death was winning. Then, with a giga impact, the garchomp was sent straight into a tree, and it cracked from the impact. He glared at Death, "A most grandiose opponent. I concede defeat. But know your ascendancy comes at a toll." With that, he let loose a dragon's rage blast at Rika, who took the full brunt of it. Rika was knocked off the side of the cliff, and her eyes went wide when she saw how far she'd fall...she let out a scream as she felt her body plummet.

She was thrashing, her eyes shut, as she waited to hit the water. "GOD DAMN IT STOP MOVING AROUND OR I WILL DROP YOU!!!" her eyes opened, and she saw she was staying put...thanks to a tentacle wrapped around her. She saw Death holding her, with another tentacle over the cliff side, and holding something strong enough to hold them. She stopped thrashing, and let him move her up to the cliff edge, with a push he sent her to stable ground and yanked himself up not long after. She panted laying on her stomach...more stunned Death saved her than that she was alive. She stared at him, as he chuckled, loving the rush of a fight. She sighed, "Death..." he looked at her, his laughter stopping, "...I...accept your apology...and thank you for saving me."
He shrugged, "Don't...I just figured it'd make my life easier...you're about the only thing that keeps my brother in a good mood since I'm here."
Rika smiled, "Still..."
He shrugged again, "Alright...you're welcome." The others were staring as well, unable to believe Death had just saved her.
Bane went up to her, "What did he apologize for?"
She sighed, "For what he did to me."
He stared at her stupified, "You can't be serious!?"
She looked at him in the eyes, "I think he's change Bane...we should give him the benefit of the doubt...at least to a degree." Bane couldn't believe what he heard.
Death was walking forward, though he heard what she said, and he smiled, "At least...I can say I've made amends with the female..." he walked with a little hop in his step, his head held high. He had a fun battle, exchanged some witty banter, and even managed to get on to the good side of the very female he'd raped. He chuckled to himself, "I guess maybe the road to a new life, starts on the old."
Mrowl?*A purple vulpine that has persian features look to the camera.. tapping.* This thing on? Ok I don't know how long this will last so I'll be quick. I'm Purple. A fellow artist and I took time into seeing some of this. The words were quite understood by me. Can't say the same for Rika, but then again it depends on your volcabulary. Mines is good but so far I'm a curious gal. Anyhow this is a twist to me. Rika forgiving the one that raped her. But then again admiting you did somethings wrong is the right thing. And shows in some souls even the darkness has light.
Mecha: *walks up smiling* Hey all...*looks back* She's so cute when she's passed out from pleasure. *turns to Purple* Oh...Purple! Nice to see you. *smiles* May I say you are looking particularly ravishing today.
