Episode 14
Road to Glory 14
Sandi was walking with Robie as Lime was the one behind them with her pokemon Po-Lon on their way to their next destination that would get them a badge closer to the league challenge. Robie was humming happily, his arm around Sandi, "Ahh...a nice relaxing day..." he chuckled, "I knew this detour would be great." he laughed to himself, as they kept on walking. "Course...kinda sad I had to let aerodactyle go." The flying rock type hadn't really taken to Robie, so since he didn't want to stay, Robie didn't force him to. "For the best though...he wouldn't have been much to the team if he hadn't liked me."
Sandi nodded, "True.. but that just means we got one less to worry about though I'm just a little worried... and if your curious it's becuase I think neither of us got a flyer."
He eyed her, "Hey...we got flyers...I got Rayquaza...and you have Lugia, and that flygon Roger." he tapped her head.
"Oh right. I wasn't sure since we haven't came across a lot of normal flyers."
Lime nodded, "Well as long as Bo don't mind we can fly too."
Sandi nodded, "But lets drop the subject bout flying."
An explosion sounded, as they looked up, seeing a figure sliding down the mountain towards them. Then the figure leaped and landed...on Robie. He groaned, shaking his head as he looked to see what was on him. He immediatly gulped, it was a groin...a female groin he noticed, by the slit. The female on him got up, and brushed herself off. He blinked, "A...lucario?" Then he got another surprise, as a mew floated around the fighting steel type, shaking her paw, "And a mew!?"
Lime was surprised, "Hold on... what the vine is going on?"
Sandi looked about, "Get ready...we might be in for something." she griped Burner's ball as it was clear trouble is starting.
Just then, three men dropped down, all were with Team Nothingness, though one appeared to look much more important, maybe it was the cape. "Ahh...you're the kids who let our Lugia and Rayquaza escape aren't you?" he smirked, "Bleak and Blackhole are pathetic...you lot don't look to tough." he flipped his cloak back, "I'm Commander Umbra. Another of the Shadowy Six." he bowed, "I'm not gonna take it easy on you lot either...just because you're kids."
Lime moved between them as Po-Lon was behind her, "Blackhole I know was after me so it's clear you guys are as much trouble as ever. Just let let go of the pokemon now!"
Sandi glared, "I don't think they are just after you this time Lime...but he's in the way so we got to either go around or charge though."
Umbra chuckled, "Fools." he held up three pokeballs, "I'll show you what happens when you stand between nothingness and it's goals." he let the balls fly, and out came a Houndoom, Floatzel, and Glaceon. The two grunts only had two pokeballs, and they were both the same two pokemon, a haunter and beedril. "Now give us that mew...and the lucario while we're on it."
Sandi sighed, "Well... we got no choice.... Robie.. mind me defending the pokes?"
Lime nodded, "Same here... I'm not losing to some whimps of bug pokemon."
Robie nodded himself, "Alright ladies...let's show these guys they ain't touching the Lucario or Mew." he threw out three pokeballs himself, "Fayt, Lemon, Cerberus! Take to the front lines!"
"Po-Lon Lets rock the bugs!"
"Burner.. the ghosts are ours!" She releases Burner as it looks like the girls are double teaming against the grunts.
Robie and his pokemon stood in front of the lucario and mew, glaring at their opponents. "Fire Blast! Water Gun! Shadow Ball!" The three launched the attacks, while Umbra chuckled, "Fire Blast! Water Gun! Ice Beam!" The attacks collided and cancled one another out. Lemon was growling s she saw the attacks strike and cancel as she gets ready for the atttacks to come. Robie and Umbra glared at one another, "Alright...Flaming Shadow Ball!" Cerberus and Fayt nodded, using their attacks together. "Freezing Shadow Ball." Umbra's pokemon obeyed, attacking and stopping Robie's attack. Then both called out, "Water Gun!" Once again the attacks failed to breach one another. It was clear the battle is more equal with the two men as dust settled after the attacks flew.
The grunts glared, "Haunter Shadow ball!" "Haunter Confuse ray!" the haunters attacked cerberus. "Beedrill...poison stings!" the beedrills launched the super effective attack against the grass fighter type. Lime glared, "This why I like to crush bugs... under ROCKS... ROCK THROW!" The fighter pokemon spun a boulder he picked up... sending the Poison Stings into the stone itself before he lifted it and threw it. The bugs dodged, "Alright...poison sting again!" the bugs obeyed firing the attack once more. Po-Lon grinned...the attack was between the two. "Bullseye...CLOSE Combat...on your own attack!" This confused the grunts, as Po-Lon was faster than the two and sent his fist at the rock with such speed and fieceness the bugs were hit with a new kind of Rock Throw, as the attack was now too many to evade. The beedrill fell, out cold as the grunts cursed.
Sandi smirked, "Bite attack and throw one at another!" It was lucky the Confuse ray was aimed so at Burner while he caught one ghost and as the beam came threwo the ghost in maw at the attack...making a confused ghost. The confused haunters grunt smirked, pulling out a flute and playing. Soon enough the haunter was back to it's old self. "through the ground and wait for a lick attack!" The haunter obeyed, "You use nightshade!" The other haunter launched the attack. "Ghost attacks aren't helping you know... mmm...! They can't hide from a certain attack... so lets see them Faint." The hound had to focus as the attack hit wasn't as strong. The haunter underground was knocked back above it...the dark attack being super effective and knocking it out. The other haunter gulped, and tried to glare it down, "THUNDER PUNCH HAUNTER!!!"
Umbra smirked, "Not to bad kid...you could make a great addition to Nothingness...you'd rise through the ranks quick." Robie smirked back, "I would wouldn't I...since most of Nothingness is worthless fodder...though...You're quite fun." Umbra bowed, "I thank you...but...now this must come to an end...GENGAR SHADOW BALL MEW!!! MISMAGIUS PSYWAVE THE LUCARIO!!!" from the side of the mountain the ghosts appeared and launched the attack over the heads of Robie's pokemon, as Umbra's others pressed another attack they had to counter. As the two attacks closed in on the stunned mew and lucario...Robie pushed them out of the way, taking the hits and getting knocked back and off the trail, down the mountain.
Lime stared, "Oh no..."
Sandi was wide eyed, "ROBIE!"
Lime glared, "PO-Lon time to take on the ghost... take their power and use it as your own."
Sandi was pissed, "Flamethrow on the attack!" Burner worked hard to blast the other ghost with power unleashing it in a powerful flame. The haunter wailed in pain, then fell to the ground, out cold. "Damn...boss...we're out of pokemon!"
Umbra glared, as his ghosts were knocked out by dark pulses from Fayt and Cerberus, both with murder in their eyes, "Seems like we're in a bit of a malestrom now...smokescreen!" the houndoom used the attack, and under it's cover, somehow, Team Nothingness got away.
Po-lon growled as he tried to move in a direction as Lime held him. "AT ease.. they lost and aren't trying for one of us alone." she sighed.
"We better check damages." Sandi said, thinking to herself, 'What is it that has some pokemon scumbags going after Lime. I really need to talk to her.'
Fayt, Cerberus, and Lime all looked to the trail edge, pain scrawled across their faces as it really did happen...their trainer had fell of the edge. Though none of them were aware that one pokemon was missing from the number on the path. Sandi turned to Lime, "Check the pokemon Lime I'm looking for Robie." she started to look around as she recalled Burner.
Lime nodded, looking for the Mew and Lucario...knowing this'll be a mess too. "Right."
Lime noticed the lucario was missing...until she appeared again, with Robie in her arms, ~Don't worry...he's alive and for the most part uninjured, just unconsious.~ she said, through her telepathy. ~I managed to catch him before he hit anything on the way down.~ The mew flew to Robie's unconsious body and looked him over, petting his head after confirming he'd be fine.
Sandi smiled, "Thank you both."
Lime bite her lip a bit worried. "I'm glad he'll be fine.. but it's dngerous to be on the path so we need to find the nearest rest area. Po-Lon if you can get him on your back and we'll get there sooner."
The lucario shook her head, ~No. I'll carry him.~ she smiled, ~It's the least I can do to thank him for saving me.~ she turned and started walking, ~Come on...there's a human building at the base of the mountain...I believe you call them pokemon centers.~
The mew smiled, ~I'm coming too. I must thank him for protecting me. And thank you ladies too.~
Lime nodded, "Surely."
Sandi also nodded, "Thanks. I'm Sandi and she's Lime with the pokemon Po-Lon."
Lime turned to Robie's pokemon, "Come on... you three your master needs you." Lemon nodded vigorously as she followed with the others though Sandi had remembered something.
"We might be near the center but it might be a good idea to become another pokemon um.. Miss Mew."
Mew nodded, smiling. She glowed and then a lopunny stood before Sandi, ~You have a point. And nice to meet you Sandi.~
The lucario smiled, ~My name's Ruka.~
"Nice to meet you both." Sandi said with a smile.
They entered the center as Nurse Joy gasped, "Gracious, what happened?"
"We had a bad time on the mountain and need to get him rested. We just got lucky he isn't worst." Lime explained.
"Right. This way." Ruka was allowed in first to put Robie onto the bed.
Ruka placed him down on the bed and smiled, ~He's quite a brave one. And I can tell he's a very good trainer.~
Mew nodded, ~Yeah.~ she giggled, ~He's really good to his female pokemon.~ She turned to Sandi, ~As well as this one and her raichu.~
Sandi stared, then chuckled, "I think someone has a nosy mind." she pointed to the mew on the nose as Lime chuckled...looking at the necklace she had on her.
Mew giggled, using her lopunny ears to hide her face, ~And you've got a very mating obsessed mind.~
Ruka smiled, giggling softly, ~Oh. So he's been making sure the females are well seen to huh?~ Just then Robie groaned, as his eyes started to open.
Lime smiled, "Evening hero... you've got some company."
He blinked, "Wha..." he groaned, "...it feels like I got hit by a runnaway onix."
Ruka giggled, ~I think that's a good way to put what hit you.~
"You did a brave move taking a shot without even calling a pokemon out. Just hope you aren't trying for human shield." She joked as she nudged his shoulder.
He chuckled, "Yeah." he looked at the Lucario and lopunny, "Is the mew..."
~I am. Though I'm a cute bunny instead of a cute kitty now.~
Robie smiled, "Indeed you are." he chuckled.
Ruka smiled, ~I'm Ruka. And I thank you for what you did.~ she leaned over, putting her face to his, ~And you're quite cute...I can see why the females of the group throw themselves at you.~

Sandi blinked, "Throw ourselves at him? I care for him a lot and have grown fond of him...I don't know about my other pokes."
Lime was keeping quiet as she is running in her own thoughts. Robie chuckled, "Oh lighten up Sandi." he smiled, then noticed Lime, "Lime...what's wrong?"
Lime blinked as she looked to Robie as she had a charm in her hand. "Nothing... just in deep thought."
"Well I just had to defend myself a little."
Robie smirked at Sandi, but felt he had to keep his focus on Lime, "What's with that charm?"
"My mom, the Celadon city gym leader, gave this to me before I left home. It's what my family held for a good time." showed it's a stone locket though the charm is a little bigger than the usual ones seen and it looks like it was made of rock. "She said that this would lead to a family friend that some greedy people might want so that's probably the reason Blackhole tried to go at me." It's currently closed for now.
Robie nodded, "Interesting." he groaned, "Ow...damn...I feel sore."
"Easy.. lay down... your not in good shape and might need a night." Sandi said, holding him still.
He nodded, "Alright..."
Ruka pet his head, ~Robie...How would you like it if I joined your team?~ Robie blinked, ~I think you'd be a deserving person for me to call my master and friend.~
Sandi smiled, "Hey you'd be a great ally to me and him so I think that's a great idea."
Lime nodded, "Yea." she chuckled, "He really would have a good friend for life with you."
Robie smiled, "I'd be happy to have you join the group." Ruka smiled.
~Would you mind another? I doubt that Team Nothingness will leave me alone.~ Mew smiled, sitting on his lap. ~Besides...I'd like to stay close to someone who has Rayquaza in his team.~
Robie smiled, "Sure. I'd love to have both of you on my team." The two girls cheered.
Lime smirked, "I hate to poke at the bubble but it takes more than a rare pokemon to be aluring like that." Sandi had to chuckle knowing she proven that true.
Mew turned and smirked, ~Okay...you caught me. I'm hoping I can get a little of that cock that has pleased so many fems.~ She giggled, wiggling her hips on his lap, ~And you're curious of it too...you want to know why the girls are so interested in him.~
She was surprised but turned her head. "I'm not trying to.. besides he's spoken for a lot of times and I'm not for getting in the way." She at the least kept from trying to think of Robie like the others do She knows she shouldn't try to get things mixed as it is since she doesn't feel the same way the others do.
Mew giggled, ~True...but you're still a bit curious.~ She giggled some more, wiggling her hips some more, getting a small moan from Robie.

Po-Lon starts to speak up a bit as Lime understood him. "I'm sorry to poke at your idea but she doesn't need to be laying in bed with him. He might be a good trainer but I don't see what the world he can offer the one I care for."
Mew giggled, ~Aww...think he'll steal your love away.~ She snickered, petting his head, ~Don't worry...she's yours...body and soul...~ she smiled.
Sandi almost shot into a laugh seeing the next surprise...Po-Lon turning from his normal colors to growing red in the face as he swiftly tried to turn away, "I..I plead the fifth like some humans do."
Mew giggled, and wiggled some more on Robie, ~I hope you get better soon...I'd like to learn how good you are when it comes to making a fem happy.~
Sandi smirked "Yea... and know his own personal rayquaza better." She laughed.
Robie chuckled, as Mew giggled, ~Oh...I'm meeting it at least...and I'm liking this meeting.~ she giggled more as a tent was form right along her lopunny rear.
"Remember let him recover ok?" Sandi looked to the others. "We should head to our room cross the hall, least we can be safe." Lime nodded a bit looking back.
Robie sighed, "Oh...so I'm being left alone."
Ruka pet him, ~I'll stay with you...that way you won't be woken in the middle of the night with her bouncing up and down on you.~
It was after a moment Sandi did come back to look in on him with a chuckle. "Sorry if I'm breaking in on you two but I thought I'd have to see how you two ladies are doing."
Ruka smiled, ~I'm fine...but Mew decided to teleport into your room just before you entered...~ she giggled, ~She's mad I won't let her at least look at it.~ Ruka giggled some, petting Robie's head as he lightly snored.
Sandi snickered, "Then she's got to deal with Po-Lon and Lime. I think he will be good." she chuckled.
Ruka nodded, "Yeah...still...I'll stick with him tonight..." she smiled some, as she kept petting his head. "Probably wouldn't be to happy to wake up and find he was left in the lurch."
"I see." she chuckled as she sat besides him. "It's hard to see you best friend in a position like this so I'm really feeling worried for him."
Ruka looked at her, ~Best friend huh? I'm sure he's a very good one.~
Sandi nodded, "Yea...though he only got a little peeved at me once since I got two pokemon while he only had one to start up. One of them grew fond of him."
Ruka tilted her head, ~Oh? Well...I can understand...I can tell he's a very brave male...very kind...and very handsome.~
She nodded... feeling such happiness in that. "So..great to know he's ok." She chuckled. Ruka nodded, as night decended and they all turned in to get some sleep.

Lime was keeping quiet as she is running in her own thoughts. Robie chuckled, "Oh lighten up Sandi." he smiled, then noticed Lime, "Lime...what's wrong?"

"She said that this would lead to a family friend that some greedy people might want so that's probably the reason Blackhole tried to go at me." It's currently closed for now.

Sandi almost shot into a laugh seeing the next surprise...Po-Lon turning from his normal colors to growing red in the face as he swiftly tried to turn away, "I..I plead the fifth like some humans do."

It was after a moment Sandi did come back to look in on him with a chuckle. "Sorry if I'm breaking in on you two but I thought I'd have to see how you two ladies are doing."

Sandi snickered, "Then she's got to deal with Po-Lon and Lime. I think he will be good." she chuckled.
Ruka nodded, "Yeah...still...I'll stick with him tonight..." she smiled some, as she kept petting his head. "Probably wouldn't be to happy to wake up and find he was left in the lurch."
"I see." she chuckled as she sat besides him. "It's hard to see you best friend in a position like this so I'm really feeling worried for him."

Sandi nodded, "Yea...though he only got a little peeved at me once since I got two pokemon while he only had one to start up. One of them grew fond of him."

She nodded... feeling such happiness in that. "So..great to know he's ok." She chuckled. Ruka nodded, as night decended and they all turned in to get some sleep.
