Episode 18
Road to Glory 18
A new morning was just arriving when we find Robie waking up with only Ruka in the tent. Sandi was out already by the looks of it. He smiled, and went out to look for her...she probably needed help. It took a while to find her but she did leave an arrow to follow as he hers her in the distance. "Rapid Spin and Aqua Tail GO!"
"Squirtle!" spinning like a top the turtle pokemon was getting to use its attacks to train for the contest. He smiled, walking up, "Hey...you seen a smokin' hot gal named Sande around?"
"Very funny. Glad to see you up Robie." he found her and she was training the new Squirtle she gotten, the said pokemon still doing her attack while before hitting a tree.
Robie whenced, "ouch. Poor guy."
"Hey you'll be ok." she told him, when they heard a buzz "... oh mareep." picking up her pokemon she slowly got back. They saw a surprising sight as a sleepy Vespiquen flew slightly out of the tree...though look like she was buzzing about something...before throwing something out at her before going into the tree again. Sandi ducked it as it seems like it was an incentive to leave. A poisonous purple spike was what she just barely evaded as she looked to what landed near by. Robie went up to her and helped her up, "come on...let's leave before you piss her off even more."
"Well this morning was short today." Squirtle ran back...getting the Poison Barb carefully while trying to catch up.
Robie smiled, "That's good isn't it."
"Yea. But at least means that we'll be on the road in no time."
"Squirtle!" pulling on the leg of her trainer's pants while showing the item it had.
"Oh.. thanks. Well the city should be coming up so lets get back to camp and get things moving." she said with a smile.
Robie nodded, wrapping an arm around her, "Yeah." As they were arriving it looked like Lime was just packing things up as Po-Lon was roasting Oran berries over a flame, yawning as he did. Then Po-Lon got a shock, as ice cold water was poured on him. A weavile stood behind him, giggling, ~Wakey wakey big boy.~
He yelped from it as that woke him up with a spark. Turning around he looked at her. -Was that really needed? I was just yawning.- with his tail facing another way there's more than berries on the fire.
She giggled, ~Yeah...though I should have gotten another pail of water...~ she smirked, ~Well...I guess I'm not the only one with a flaming hot tail.~
"loom?" he turned around and mew saw him yelp as he spun fast to put out th fire on his tail. -That...hurt.-
~Aww.~ she grabbed his tail and started kissing it, ~Poor baby...did that mean fire hurt you?~
He smirked as he turned red, looking away. -At least now I'm awake, though I'm still probably owing you a favor.- He watched Sandi help Ruka and Robie tak down their tent. She blinked, ~What do you mean?~
-I am very thankful for the, encounter last night. And thus I should do something to pay you back for it-
She smiled, and kissed his cheek. ~That's so sweet. But I was happy to do it for you.~
He was kind of surprised but smiled. -Very well. But if you need something from me let me know since you know I won't hesitate to stop and help out.-
She smiled, and kissed him, ~Aren't you just a sweet thing.~ she giggled and followed Robie and Ruka as the gang started heading for the city. The next town is in view as they saw there seem to be a lot of bird pokemon in the air around. Lime turned to her partner, "Po-Lon, you might want to keep with me. You got a lot of trouble here."
Sandi looked about, "I think there is some special event going on if there's so many bird pokemon around." =
Robie nodded, "Yeah...most definetly is." It's in King City that they see a contest going on as described on the posters. Lime snatched one off a wall, "The Pokecrown Crash. Pokemon trainers of all kinds are allowed to try and compete in the contest to crown the pokemon royal to represent this year's honored pokemon of the city. First place is $20000 and the Shell Bell."
Robie smiled, "Alright...good news to my ears." he chuckled, "Ruka...interested in becoming a queen?" The lucario blushed.
Sandi smiled, "The Pokecrown is going to be held tonight the Pokemon Contest is going to be three days after today so it'll leave time for you two gym runners to have fun and give me time to train for the contest."
He smiled, "Yeah..." he chuckled, "Come on Ruka...let's sign up." The lucario was blushing big, ~You're serious!?~ Robie smiled, nodding.
"It'll be perfect for you. Besides, how many pokemon can say they represent an entire city?"
Ruka gulped, ~But aren't...aren't queens...beautiful?~
"I think you'll be be ok. Besides, beauty isn't everything. A queen needs to be cunning, alert, and willing to step up in matters that are important as well as do what is needed to try and support everyone when the time comes. You probably got all that while spending time with your friend!" Lime told her with a smile. Ruka blushed, as Robie smiled, "Besides...you are beautiful."
Mew nodded, ~They're right.~
Sandi smiled, "How about we get to the contest? It starts tonight and Robie will get some time to know your moves while training you to ready for a battle."
Ruka looked around, then nodded, ~Alright...I'll do it.~ Robie smiled, and headed to sign in for the fun. They saw a lot of trainers and other pokemon. He saw the set up is 64 fighters as he got spot number 12, the last spot remaining which was Northsouth division East. It's only three fights but it's a pokemon free for all with 4 pokemon going agianst eachother. A great way to train if done right. Ruka took some deep breaths. ~I'm...I'm not sure I can do this...Robie...I'm scared.~
Robie smiled, hugging her, "Don't be...you're gonna rule this battlefield."
The announcer cleared his throat and turned on the mic, "NS E, NS W, NS S, and NS N; Your time has come to hit the battlefield! Choose your champion and go for the crown!"
The west NS tossed in ball, "Go Nidoking!"
The south NS called out his pokemon, "Golduck hit it!"
NS N was next, "Scyther, standby."
Robie smiled, "Show'em your stuff Ruka." The lucario nodded, stepping out to the field. With the four pokemon starting going out the fight now begins! "Golduck Water Pulse the Lucario now!" the Golduck nods as the the Scyther was orderd to circle the Nidoking. "Ruka, dodge!" Ruka nodded, jumping above the attack, "Now aura sphere!" she launched the never miss attack. And it nailed the pokemon in the chest as the water type was skidding back from the attack. "Ice beam now! I want that hound on ice!"
Robie smirked, "Extreme speed...followed with a dragon pulse!" Ruka nodded, vanishing before she appeared behind the golduck, and unleashed the attack. That sent the duck spinning and nailed the scyther which was poisoned already when the crash hit. The nidoking's trainer called out, "NIDOKING Now while your clear, EARTHQUAKE!" Nidoking jumped a little bit into the air before stomping the ground. The attack was spreading out fast, and the trainers of the Scyther and the Golduck were shaken up from it.
"Ruka! A super jump to that nido's back!" She nodded, leaping up, landing on the causer of the attack. "Hit it with a force palm!" She obeyed. The Nidoking got the surprise as the Golduck was seriously hurt but missed Luca as the Nidoking droped down to his stomach to soften the blow even if it did hurt. "Scyther OUT!" called the Ref. Now it was 3 in the ring as the Golduck is in bad shape, Nidoking getting air from the fight and Luca is still on top. Ruka lept back and took a battle ready stance, "Alright...Ruka...hit the nidoking with a aura sphere, and the gold duck with a dragon pulse!" she nodded, creating and flinging the fighting type attack, unleashing the dragon pulse from her mouth as she finished. "Not twice on me.. Ice Beam the attack."
"Nidoking, Take it and Captivate!" The explosion of attacks sent Golduck flying from it as the Nidoking took it well, still standing as the Golduck tries to stand and Nidoking tries to draw his attation to himself. Ruka ignored the Nidoking, "Alright Ruka...that big lug wants some attention...let's give it to him!" she smiled, and used extreme speed, getting up to the nido's face, then used force palm, followed by an aura sphere from each paw, then finally a dragon pulse. "Zen Headbutt!"
The Nidoking Trainer also called out an attack, "A storm is coming with a chance of THUNDER!" a que that was too cloe to evade as he took the blows from Aura Sphere but as the Dragon Pulse was coming she can see the bolt coming down. Golduck meanwhile was about to nail her from behind her go two for one. Ruka smirked, and gave a graveful twist, letting the golduck take her spot, as she gave a cute smile and wink, ending her twist with a pose...that was a tad...provacative.
"Golduck OUT!" now it's one on one as the Nidoking blinks from the wink, shaking his head as it was clearly a surprise to both trainer and pokemon. Robie shrugged, "Well if you got it...use it I guess." Ruka giggled, ~Want a kiss big boy...for luck?~ She gave her digit a 'come here' wag. The nidoking had to near crefully as he heard his trainer tell him to charge gaia up. Clearly this is a trap perperation tactic as the Nidoking nears. She giggled, bending over a bit, lips puckered, ~Come on big boy...I don't know how to use bite.~ The audience was clearly watching in confusing glances as the nidoking did take the kiss.
Or at least...that's what they all, short of Robie, though would happen. The nidoking then felt one of the most painful aura spheres ever...as it nailed him right in the family jewels. Robie herd the men in the audience groan and whence, even the announcer. The ref blinked, "....Um... Medical units to the ring please. Nidoking OUT. The Lucario Wins!" Ruka jumped raising a paw in victory. She ran up and gave Robie a hug, ~I DID IT!!!~ He smiled, chuckling.
Someone walked up to Robie as she spoke up. It was Nurse Joy. "Sir. I'll heal your pokemon while you wait for your next round."
He smiled, nodding, "Thank you." Ruka smiled at her trainer, then nodded to Nurse Joy as well. Nurse joy leads her to he healing area. The next few fights were wild and filled with excitement before Ruka was returned to Robie to be ready for the next match. Ruka sat next to him, ~Do you think what I did was...wrong?~
Robie shook his head, "No." he smiled, "Use what you got...if you got hot looks...use them on males...and the few females out there."
The announcer came on, "The next round is about to begin. Trainers it's show time!" Robie and Ruka nodded, and headed for the field. "Persian, go for it!"
"Bibarel hit it girl!!"
"I choose you, Smeargle!"
Robie smirked, "Come on Ruka...another victory coming up!" The lucario confidently strode into position. The round started up as everyone got a surprise. The Smeargle Trainer smiled, "Red Paint and hold on tight...were going HOT!"
The smeargle sighed, -This'll hurt the mouth.- he said as the Smeargle got against the wall before wailing out as the trains saw a red wave of energy strike out hard. The announcer blinked, "Whoa... Lava Plume has been unleashed."
Bibarel Trainer blinked himself, "Wha?" he waved his arms, "LOOK OUT!"
Robie gulped, "Damn...Ruka...get a shield!" she nodded, moving and grabbing the bibarel, using her as a shield against the attack. The fem bibarel yelped as this clearly surprised everyone...the laughter sent out as Ruka saw her pokemon shield faint from the intensity of the attack... the Persian whencing as he got burned. Ref held up a flag, "Bibarel OUT!"
Ruka pet the bibarel, ~Thank you and sorry.~ She rushed the smeargle, "Ruka! Aura spheres, followed by a force palm!" She complied, launching the attacks. "Your not getting us that fast.. Iron Tail Sword!" The Aura Spheres hit home but Ruka got aa surprise when the last attack didn't touch and got sent back from the Iron Tail attack, The Persian grinning as he took advantage of her back to him. "Power Gem! Break her down!"
Ruka yelped, falling to her knee. "Ruka!" The Persian and his trainer grins. "Tadomida! Crunch!"
The smeargle and it's trainer spoke out at the same time, "NOT SO FAST!" The Smeargle Trainer then issued the attack, "Iron Tail Sword, strike the cat down now!" The Smeargle sword swings up...stoping the finishing blow from hitting, and sending him up. "What's your problem you creep? She didn't even see it coming. At least go for her side."
The Persian Trainer smirked, "With a fight like this it's every mon for themselves!"
Robie smirked, "Right." Ruka appeared, and used a powerful force palm to the normal types head, slamming it to the ground. And the Persian growld.. aiming at them with a slash when he took the Force Palm to the head. The smeargle glared, -I might be in a free for all fight but I'm still not ong for attack a foe's back. TAKE THIS!- His iron tail struck the gut and sent the cat flying into the wall -Felines.-
"Persian OUT!" Ruka smiled, planting a kiss to the smeargle's cheek, ~Thanks.~ She lept back and took a battle ready pose, ~Don't think I'm gonna go easy on you just for that though.~
The Smeargle smiled before he shows his tail turned metal. -It'll be an honor to duel against a beauty. En gard!-
"Good get ready to turn your tail green."
Robie thought about it, then smiled, "Ruka...ballistic barrage!" She smiled, nodding and leaping to the far corner of the arena, before letting loose aura sphere after aura sphere in every direction, which soon began to home in on the target. He missed with his tail.. but then his tail turned green before he was spinning, Razor Leaf spread all over the arena as he tried to strike while the orbs are coming. Attacks are clashing before he wiled from one of the hits. That opening him up to a bunch of other hits, and Ruka wasn't done yet. She unleashed a dragon pulse straight into the attack zone. She got leaves in her face as his attck got though giving her a time firing her attack as he took the damages.
She panted, "Damn it..." Robie tried to think of something else....how did a normal type last against fighting type attacks anyway?
He's brely on his feet..before something feel from the neck.. it's a focus band. He just barely survived it all but it looks like he is too tanked as he held his paw up to the air. ".....I recall my pokemon. he's too wasted to continue."
"In that case Smeargle OUT Lucario is going to the finals."
Ruka smiled, giving a small jump, before going to Robie and giving him another hug, which he returned, "Great work Ruka!"
The Smeargle and his trainer walked up to the two...giving a bow together even if the Smeargle whenced from the pain he felt. "It was a pleasure fighting you though I saw I was getting slammed so I had to call it before he got seriously hurt."
Robie and Ruka smiled, returning the bow, "Thanks and likewise."
"Give the finals hell." The trainer grinned before taking off to the pokemon center.
Nurse Joy smiled seeing them, "Congradulations."
Robie smiled, "Thanks." Ruka went up, ~Be back.~ Robie nodded, as Ruka was taken to heal up. With one more match the contest is going to be intense for the last fight. By that time the last semi-finals fight was over it ws time for the final battle. Ruka hugged him, ~I'll do my best Robie.~ He smiled, petting her cheek, "That's all I can ask of you."
"Now the finals are here. In the NORTH, Robie! In the WEST, Tyson! In the SOUTH, Britney! and In the EAST, Alex! *Cheers from the crow sounds out for each one.* Let the finals.. begin!"
Tyson made the first call out, "Go for it Tarous."
Britney was next, "Nidoqueen GO!"
Alex got the third call, "Lets go Furret!"
"Well this'll be interesting. We are likely to have a queen rather than a king since there's only one male in the arena. Pokemon wise of course."
Ruka stepped into the arena, smiling, "And that queen's gonna be my Ruka."
"Nidoqueen!" The fight is on but Ruka got the first hit from a PISSED nidoqueen. -I'm going to enjoy turning you Red, Black, and Blue MUTT. I wanted to fight my boyfriend in the finals and you took him out round one so I'm going to give you a make over.- She was using Superpower which was quite a bold move and surprised the crowd. Meanwhile the Taarous is against the flexable furret.
Robie glared, "Alright...toughest opponent first...good enough for me. Ruka! Dodge!" Ruka lept back. Britney was soon playing off by trying to use Stone Edge. Clearly this nidoqueen has blood out for her as she tries to send her to the floor. Robie smiled, "I'm glad I gave her that TM now...Psychic!" Ruka nodded, eyes glowing blue as the attack struck...and hard. The Nidoqueen yelps as she wass in the air from the fighter Pokemon. Before another order was sounded a mooo was heard. It seems the furret was bullriding, and the blind bovile is coming at them.
Robie smiled, "Ruka...nido rocket!" Ruka giggled, using extreme speed to get into the air, and use a force palm, which was stengthened by the previous attack, and sent the nido rocketing toward the furret and bull. The furret saw this is no rodeo and got off in time to see the Tarous get a face ful of nidoqueen....though in the worst of ways as he was between her legs with his face. The furret panted, -Whoa.. that was close.-
But the normal type didn't see the aura sphere that smashed her in from above, as Ruka landed, giggling, ~Looks like she's got a new boyfriend.~
The Nidoqueen didn't lake that as the Furret clearly was Koed. "Furret OUT!" SMASH! "...Medical to Arena, Tarous out!" the people whenced as they sw the Nidoqueen get up leaving a head bleading Tarous...clearly she's pissed as she roars out like fire. Robie and Ruka knew they had to stop that Nidoqueen...she was gonna do real damage. "Ruka...another psychic...like before...only this time...hit her with...Sadistic Barrage!" Ruka nodded, send the nidoqueen into the air with psychic...then began to pelt her with attack at extreme speed, knocking the poison/ground type around in the air, before a combo of force palm, extreme speed, aura sphere, and dragon pulse sent the nidoqueen down to the ground. It's a good combo of hits as it's clear she's pissed, she barely is able to stand from tht as Britney tries ot think of how to help her pokemon.
Ruka was panting hard, gasping for air, "Fucking aye...Psychic her into a wall!" Ruka obeyed, using the rest of her strength to slam the nidoqueen not only into the wall...but through it. She saw the Nidoqueen trying to get up....and then fall hard on the back. "NIDOQUEEN OUT. WE HAVE A ROYAL!"
Ruka tried to cheer, but merely fell back...into Robie's arms, "You did great Ruka." She smiled, nuzzling him lightly, ~Thanks.~ the crowd cheered for them as she was lead to get healed for the victory picture. Robie stuck by her, and she was smiling the whole time. It was a surprise seeing another pokemon near as to see her ok as it's the Smeargle looking at her. Thankfully she's got recovered to full health. Ruka blinked when she noticed him, -Oh hello.- she smiled.
-Saw the fight and I have to say that gal has got no manners out there.-
Ruka giggled, nodding.
-Just glad you won. Hopefully I'll see you later after the events are all over since I'll be at the center.- As it was time for the picture for winning the contest and to be the symbol of the city. She nodded, smiling. Ruka gave a confident and victories pose, using Robie as a prop of sort.
FLASH! The picture now a memory to the city as Robie is soon collecting the Poke aand the water styled bell that is able to heal with each chime. Robie smiled, lifting Ruka up, and carrying her bridal style to the group.
They chuckled, Lime smiling, "Congradlutions." she cheered, "You had quite a run."
Sandi nodded, "Yea."
Robie smiled, "Thanks." Mew smiled, giving Ruka five...or whatever you call it, ~You did awesome Ruka...I really liked how you took care of that nidoking.~ Ruka blushed.
Po-lon shivered, -Do you have to remind me of that? I think every male that saw it will feel that in their minds for the night.-
Mew smiled, and began to pet him, ~Aww don't worry Po-Lon...I'd never let harm come to those orbs that get me filled with sweet shroom cream.~
Lime chuckled, sorta getting the message Mew sent. "Yes. Besides who knows when you'll find some calls to get planting with." On that Po-Lon tries to keep from saying how he had that fun already. Mew giggled, ~I guess she didn't hear the noise last night.~ Even Robie and Ruka were snickering. Sandi tried to keep it in, she heard it well enough too.
Mew smiled at Lime, giggling, ~Maybe I should tell her.~
Po-Lon blushed hard from the idea mentioned as Lime eyed Mew, "Something on the mind?"
Mew giggled, ~I should tell you...last night...me and your two girls had at Po-Lon...sort of a fantasy I wanted to give him.~
"So that's why they were smiling silly when I checked up on them." She poked Po-Lon's head, "If they have eggs it's your fault for them since I'll have to find a way to take cre of them." Po-Lon had to blush from it.
Mew giggled more, ~Don't worry...I made sure to eat out as much seed as I could.~
Po-Lon nodded, -At least explains why the girls were so tanked after I was with them.-
Lime smiled, "Well I'll take this as good as I can. Anyhow, lets turn in since tonight was quite an exciting run of events." Robie nodded, and they hit the center.
Sandi smiled, "I already got rooms for us. Thankfully we all got the same room so lime can sleep with us."
"Thank you." Lime bowed, "That's real kind of you."
Robie smiled, as they got into their room, "Ahh...nice." he chuckled, "I think this will be a very nice night...especially since I get to share my bed with two queens." he hugged Sandi and Ruka, the lucario blushing up.
Sandi kissed as she chuckled, "Well you do got a lot of choices to enjoy." she rubbed his side as she looked to the other side of her Robie to see how agreeable she was. Ruka smiled, giggling, ~I'm game to make our king feel loved.~
Sandi smiled, "Well I think I should get out of this before starting to help him out." Ruka and Robie smiled, working together to strip Sandi down, giving her licks and kisses as they went. Sandi chuckled, grinning as she felt their tounges on her while she was disrobed. Robie smiled, kissing her tenderly, "I love you Sandi...and you Ruka." Ruka giggled, grabbing his head and frenching him. Ruka then did the same to Sandi. Ruka eeped giggling, Robie smiled, both of them groping her rear in response.
Sandi chuckled as she felt that before looking to the one that isn't in the proper attire...grinning. Robie soon had both girls rapidly working off his clothing. Robie and Ruka couldn't help laughing with her, as he pet both of their heads, Ruka smiling happily. Sandi smiled and nodded to Ruka as it was time to stop "pulling puddy" and start licking his cane.

NS N was next, "Scyther, standby."
Robie smiled, "Show'em your stuff Ruka." The lucario nodded, stepping out to the field. With the four pokemon starting going out the fight now begins! "Golduck Water Pulse the Lucario now!" the Golduck nods as the the Scyther was orderd to circle the Nidoking. "Ruka, dodge!" Ruka nodded, jumping above the attack, "Now aura sphere!" she launched the never miss attack. And it nailed the pokemon in the chest as the water type was skidding back from the attack. "Ice beam now! I want that hound on ice!"
Robie smirked, "Extreme speed...followed with a dragon pulse!" Ruka nodded, vanishing before she appeared behind the golduck, and unleashed the attack. That sent the duck spinning and nailed the scyther which was poisoned already when the crash hit. The nidoking's trainer called out, "NIDOKING Now while your clear, EARTHQUAKE!" Nidoking jumped a little bit into the air before stomping the ground. The attack was spreading out fast, and the trainers of the Scyther and the Golduck were shaken up from it.
"Ruka! A super jump to that nido's back!" She nodded, leaping up, landing on the causer of the attack. "Hit it with a force palm!" She obeyed. The Nidoking got the surprise as the Golduck was seriously hurt but missed Luca as the Nidoking droped down to his stomach to soften the blow even if it did hurt. "Scyther OUT!" called the Ref. Now it was 3 in the ring as the Golduck is in bad shape, Nidoking getting air from the fight and Luca is still on top. Ruka lept back and took a battle ready stance, "Alright...Ruka...hit the nidoking with a aura sphere, and the gold duck with a dragon pulse!" she nodded, creating and flinging the fighting type attack, unleashing the dragon pulse from her mouth as she finished. "Not twice on me.. Ice Beam the attack."
"Nidoking, Take it and Captivate!" The explosion of attacks sent Golduck flying from it as the Nidoking took it well, still standing as the Golduck tries to stand and Nidoking tries to draw his attation to himself. Ruka ignored the Nidoking, "Alright Ruka...that big lug wants some attention...let's give it to him!" she smiled, and used extreme speed, getting up to the nido's face, then used force palm, followed by an aura sphere from each paw, then finally a dragon pulse. "Zen Headbutt!"
The Nidoking Trainer also called out an attack, "A storm is coming with a chance of THUNDER!" a que that was too cloe to evade as he took the blows from Aura Sphere but as the Dragon Pulse was coming she can see the bolt coming down. The next few fights were wild and filled with excitement before Ruka was returned to Robie to be ready for the next match. Ruka sat next to him, ~Do you think what I did was...wrong?~

Iron Tail Sword!" The Aura Spheres hit home but Ruka got aa surprise when the last attack didn't touch and got sent back from the Iron Tail attack, The Persian grinning as he took advantage of her back to him. "Power Gem! Break her down!"
Ruka yelped, falling to her knee. "Ruka!" The Persian and his trainer grins. "Tadomida! Crunch!"
The smeargle and it's trainer spoke out at the same time, "NOT SO FAST!" The Smeargle Trainer then issued the attack, "Iron Tail Sword, strike the cat down now!" The Smeargle sword swings up...stoping the finishing blow from hitting, and sending him up. "What's your problem you creep? She didn't even see it coming. At least go for her side."
The Persian Trainer smirked, "With a fight like this it's every mon for themselves!"
Robie smirked, "Right." Ruka appeared, and used a powerful force palm to the normal types head, slamming it to the ground. And the Persian growld.. aiming at them with a slash when he took the Force Palm to the head. The smeargle glared, -I might be in a free for all fight but I'm still not ong for attack a foe's back. She got leaves in her face as his attck got though giving her a time firing her attack as he took the damages.
She panted, "Damn it..." Robie tried to think of something else....how did a normal type last against fighting type attacks anyway?
