Episode 3
BOOM....the bathroom door opens as a familar unlucky fem of the morning mumbles. Robie was jerked awake, "What? What happen?" he was still in a state of half sleep.
Sandi groaned. "I... hate... mornings." Sandi's bad mornings. She seems to not get a break as she mumbles. Robie looked back at her, "Really? Well then, let's head there." she smiled as they had to head to the west since that was quite a way. Robie was smiling too, letting Fayt out to get some exercise. The little poochyena was running back and forth across the road, as Robie chuckled. Then he thought of something, "Hey Sandi...what are you going to evolve Kari into?"
"To be honest I was going for all evolutions but I'd go with Espeon first."
Robie smiled, "Shouldn't be hard then. Just make sure if you change your mind that you do it soon. Cause with you...it shouldn't take long to get that happiness evolution."
"True.. but then gain I should get her out for this." Just before she did release she was noting something. "Three o'clock...look!" Robies head snapped to the position, looking for what she pointed out. He was noting what she saw.. traveling to the road was nothing of all things a scyther, practicing a few swings and slashes. He saw from abdomen size it was female, and he called Fayt to his side, "You want her Sandi?"
Nods a bit and keeps her eyes on the prize. "Though I better be careful with this one." she enlarged a ball with a smile. "HEY you need a real fight!?" She knew this'll be a risk.. as she released Kari.
Robie stood to the side, and bent down, "Fayt...if this get's really bad...get ready to go in." the whisper reached Fayt's ears, and he nodded. Robie stood up as the scyther came up to them.
It's soon a rush strike as Kari was able to just dogde a high speed Slash attack... getting nearly slashed off as she managed to used bite to hold onto her neck. The scyther let out a cry of rage, and swung her head about furiously.Thankfully the closeness to the neck was keeping her safe as she had hears the call to use Iron tail and hold on as it's clear the air is getting knocked out of the fem scyther. The scyther grunted then flew at a tree, turning so Kari was slammed against it. Kari lost her grip, and got the flat end of the scyther's blade, knocking her into another tree. Grins as it's near that point as she whistled. "Ok... Speed up for Quick attack. But charge up your iron tail." The scyther used her blade to stop the iron tail, and was about to cut Kari in two, when something landed on her head, she looked up and saw the tree she had slammed Kari into had fruit, and the force knocked one loose. And that observation left her open to another iron tail, which knocked her to the ground, dazed, and on the verge of unconsiousness. "Now for the big climatic scene... ROLL THEM!" She shot a Great ball and nailed the bug on the chest. 1....2....3...PING!
Sandi grinned, "CUT...that's a rap!" she chuckled as she hugged Kari...and soon gets the ball up. "Ok... Blayda, your on the cast." She giggled. The scyther emerged, looking a bit weak. She worked the kinks out of her neck and stretched out. She looked at Kari and smiled, "Scyther..scy." Neither of the humans could tell she just complimented Kari. At least her reaction showed it was good as Kari was seeming well. "Well, that's nice." Sandi smiled.
Robie nodded, "Not bad." Fayt backed happily, his tail wagging. "Looks like Fayt agrees."
She chuckled, "THanks a lot. And hopefully you'll have your capture."
He nodded, and began walking again, smiling as Fayt stayed along side him. He can see Kari as it's clear she's quite happy with her acomplishment. Fayt smiled, and barked happily at her. She barked back and blinks.. her eyes flashing a bit. Fayt eyed her, then barked to Robie and Sandi. Sandi looked to her eevee, "I think we just got a plot twist." Kari was glowing as she was feeling change.
Robie smiled, "Looks like Kari beat you to the evolution Fayt." Soon Kari was grining as she's now an Espeon...really looking slick as Sandi hugs her. Fayt sniffed Kari, and smiled, barking happily. Robie smiled, "Now I need to get him some experiance, I'd like to have him match Kari in evolution."
Sandi chuckled, "I know but that'll be a while." Robie smiled as they went back on the path, getting a little more distance before nightfall. They decided to set up camp in a large clearing, Robie looked to Sandi, "Maybe...we should sleep in the same bag this time...so we don't have a repeat of our last incident."
"Good idea... at least I know those male pokes won't go after someone." He smiled, and brought his bag, and placed it down, it was big enough for them both to squeeze in, though it'd be a tight fit.
