Episode 6
He chuckled, "Not to bad...though..I'm not that much of a fan of Nidos...they're cool and all...but lack that flair I want."
Sandi was smiling, "True but they start cute and end up being quite powerful fully evolved with a moonstone and good training. And sorry... they looked so cute together."
Robie shrugged, "No matter what...they lack flair...that's why I'm not a fan...besides...they aint cute...their spiny little poisoned rats."
Sandi glared, "Says you. And if anything I got to ignore them for now since I'm looking for a Tra-" looking to the pokemon, outside they saw a flygon mucnhing on a berry, a very good looking one too. "Ok.. flygon will do."
"You mean Roger don't you?" The breeder looked to them, "I was looking at the trainers that tried to get him but so far he come back because they were having a little trouble with him in their crew so returned him to me. I just hope he isn't returned with the next trainer that would like him.. though they'd probably need to get their trust."
Robie smiled, "I'm sure Sandi could do it."
"Well could you wait since I thin the contest for the Ribbon starts tomorrow?"
"Well one more day can't be bad....." THAT'S when her mind registered something. "When's registration closing?"
"Tonight at 9. And they hold the contest starting at noon."
Robie sighed, "Come on Sandi...we better get moving before you lose your chance to register."
She nods... digging into her bag. "This is one time I got something for speed for now." took a minute as they saw her now wearing rollerblades, and with her helmet on she was soon speeding off with her pokeballs in her pockets.
Robie smiled, as she raced off, "Well then...mind showing me where I'll be sleeping tonight?"
Took a while as he soon showed him the spot which is a guest room one with dressers and one with a desk but both had beds. "Better take your pick. Since I don't know which she'll want. Oh I forgot... I'm Lucas."
Robie shook his head, "I'm Robie, and I'll take the desk one." he entered the room, and smiled, nodding as he sat on the bed. "And my less then morning bless friend is Sandi."
"Nice to know you... at least you got someone to travel with.. a lot of trainers traveled alone."
Robie nodded smiling, "Yeah...I'm really lucky to have her around." Lucas chuckled as he at least started to get the food for the pokemon ready as they hear Someone coming back...Sandi panting a bit. Robie went to meet and, give her a hug, "So...you all set to enter tomorrow?"
"Yea.. I'm all set. Though I should see bout how my team feel about it."
He nodded, "Of course." he smiled.
She chuckled as she pulled out her pokemon. "Ok. SPOTLIGHT EVERYONE!" soon they are released, Boltma the Raichu, Kari the Espeon, Blayda the Scyther and Burner the male Houndoom as he looked at the place. At least he isn't pissed.
Robie smiled, "Not a bad team. I'll admit that."
"Thank you. I'm happy that I got quite a team of four. And hopefully five."
Robie nodded, "yeah...but that'll wait till after you get the ribbon." He smiled at her.
She nodded, "True. And it'll have to be my psy fem and Boltma."
Robie nodded, "Yeah...I figured as much...and I know they'll do great." he smiled at them.
"At least till I'm used to the other two it'll be interesting."
Robie smiled back at Sandi, "Don't sweat it...you'll do great. K?" She nodded and smiled, feeling happy about the moment more and more. He got up and kissed her cheek, "You should work out a routine for the contest." She chuckled and starts to nod.. looking at her Psy pokemon as she had something to work with. Robie stepped back, and shrugged, "Alright squad, atten...tion!" He called out his yellow furred buizel Lemon, his houndoom Cerberus, who was quickly warming up to him, and his mightyena Fayt. "You all are getting some relaxsation time...no boinking with the others pokes though...I'm only tell you that Cerberus...you aren't to play casanova with any of them...got me?" Cerberus grumbled, nodding.
The snicker from Burner said he enjoyed his downsizing. "You two fireball." Sandi said to her hound. teh girls started learning how to perform.. well Sandi's as Kari was learning how to use the Confusion power on herself. Fayt layed down, and watched Kari in action, smiling a little. Cerberus was inspecting the nearby area, and Lemon was enjoying the spot for water types, diving in and swimming about. Robie sat in a chair and leaned back, shutting his eyes, smiling. It's getting good at least as it's a good long work as the dust around became a cloud as she was strting to get into the moment... making psy platforms and fake ground from the dust around. The big mother of Sandi's group Blayda was looking at the two fire hounds to be sure they are being good. Fayt smiled more, letting out a bark, cheering Kari on. While Cerberus yawned and curled up on a rock, and began to nap. Chuckles as she's getting into it nd working well. As the other pokemon are doing well and calm too. The scene was very tranquil and calm.
But that was wrecked when Robie felt the ball holding Rayquaza begin to shake, he looked at it, confused, when something caught his eye...it was five shadows, flyers way in the distance. it looked like four were attacking one. He pulled out a pair of binoculars, and got a better view of them...it was a lugia, with red features instead of purple, and it was being attacked by a beedrill, pidgeotto, dustox...and a charizard with a human on it's back...and the human looked like a member of Team Nothingness. Robie cursed, "Damn it." Sandi looked up as she noted what's going on over her head. "What the..." Her eyes widened as she jumped out of the way of flying pokemon tht almost hit her... one was clearly the Lugia as the Flygon saw what was going on.. grring in anger but had someone in paw, Sandi as she had an idea tht is if he'd agree. Robie knew why his dragon was acting up, and right now...he needed to stop this guy. Just then, the Nothingness member tossed a pokeball at the injured Lugia, Robie cursed, when Fayt knocked the ball away with an iron tail. The man looked at Fayt, "Fool...nothingness will take you."
Robie glared, "The hell it will!" he let loose Rayquaza, "Rayquaza...iron tail!" he obeyed, but the charizard dodged, though the other three pokemon couldn't say the same thing. "Ahh...so you're the kid that got Rayquaza. And it obeys. Got to say...you're interesting. I'm Bleak, one of Team Nothingness's commanders. Who might you be?"
"Like I'd tell you!" Robie looked to Sandi, "Catch Lugia now...I'll keep him busy!"
Sandi was acualy surprising as she whilstled. "Blayda, SLASH ATTACK charizard, keep me covered!" she had to pull a black ball she found on the road as she hoped it worked.. since it was as strong as a normal pokeball but a Luxray ball is better than nothing. "Luxray ball HIT IT!" that's a good thing as she hopes the ball catches. "No!" Bleak barely managed to stay on as his charizard doged again. He cursed, as there was a 1...2...3...ping! "Damn...no chance of victory here. Weezing, smokscreen!" His new called out pokemone obeyed, as he recalled his three downed flyers. When the smoke screen cleared, he was gone. Robie sighed, "Whoo...that was close..." he smiled at her, "congrats on the capture."
ACHOO! Sandi grumbled, "Just.. my luck I didn't get my nose.. ACHHOOO!!"
Robie smiled, "Sheesh...it's a sad day when you catch a legendary pokemon."
She glared, "don't... start on me. The.. AAACHOOOO... nothingness started it.... and just our luck a smart grunt tried to get us." she blew her nose with tissue as he groan...the Flygon kept an eye on her.
Robie smiled, "I think our little flygon friend likes you." she chuckled as She checked her pokemon, Blayda smiling as she had charizard blood on her blades..a clear sign that pokemon isn't going to fly good for a while.
"Howdy" chuckles, offering her hand as she had to admit this wa quite a surprise. Roger smiled, "gon...flygon fly." he took her hand. Sandi chuckled, "I hope you mind me trying to get you later. But your invited to watch me perform."
Roger smiled, nodding. Robie smiled himself, and tried to call Rayquaza back, but it dodged the return beam. Robie looked up at his dragon, then nodded, getting why it didn't return. "Sandi...call out Lugia...I want to check to make sure it's okay." Rayquaza smiled. Robie rolled his eyes, then shrugged, Rayquaza was lord of the sky's so at least he looked out for his fellow flyers. She nods as she had to pull out a super potion she had a she did.. now going to patch up injuries. Lugia at least was feeling better. Robie helped patch up the injuries...and also snuck a peak at the pokemon's hind quarters...he saw a slit, so she was a female. Rayquaze leaned down to Lugia, and upon making sure she was fine, allowed himself to be returned. "Alright...he's not a bad king of the sky's...though...maybe he was just worried about her...because he wants a little lugia tail..." he chuckled.
Sandi looked to him on that, "Robie!" she chuckled.
Robie smiled, chuckling himself. "We both got some rare pokemon. I got a big and mighty dragon...and you got a pretty and powerful bird."
"Yea.. though I didn't want to have it happen so suddenly. But either way we got something.. though I think I'm on 5."
Robie nodded, "Yep...and I've got 4...but I'll catch up to you...just you wait." he gave her a friendly competitive glare.
She chuckled, "I'm just being sure your not lagging in pokemon catching, after all we got plenty to do."
He nodded, "Don't worry...I'm not...I'm just waiting for the right pokemon." she smiled and nods.. grinning from that with a long smile...as it's night by now and Lucas was at least keeping this quiet. Robie looked up at the sky, and let a big smile cross his lips, they had another legendary, and Sandi was about to get her first ribbon, he leaned back in the chair, "Ahh...life is good." Sandi herself was having a long smile as she was keeping the balls locked up for now as she had to be smiling.
