Training and Answers

"I won't ask again... where are they!?" demanded the pokemon as he held the other up in the air by one hand. The angry pokemon was a Machoke, and he was currently trying to extract information from a frightened Treeko.
"I told you, we don't know! They teleported away as soon as your bounties went out, we haven't seen them back here since!" explained the Treeko, trying to stop the powerful pokemon from accidentally crushing her with his insane strength.
"Those badges can only teleport teams to areas they have previous been to, I want some records as to what missions they went on, or we will declare your team to be in league with them." said the Machoke as he dropped the frightened Treeko to the ground as she scurried for her teammates, a male Charmander and a male Munchlax.
"You'll have to speak with Raichu, he handles that kind of stuff." said the Munchlax as the Charmander began tending to the grass type's injuries. The Machoke simply growled as he send all three of them flying through the air with a single kick and began continuing on his way to the Dungeon Team Association for records on where team Sea Forest Fire might be located.
It had been this way for the past two weeks now, while SFF had been training in that insane training program, they had practically no contact with the outside world. Bounty Hunters were storming in from all across Lust's sector to get a piece of them. Hunters from the other sectors were excluded because Whip still had not spread any further word to the other leaders, wanting to keep this little embarrassment a secret. As such, the other sectors had virtually no knowledge that the SFF even existed, let alone were at war with Poke Whores.
"Okay boys, we're finally here..." said a the Charmeleon as he set his bags down in front of the entrance to the Dungeon Team Association. It was Magma with his Houndour and Growlithe companions. Having traveled across the sector for a week would normally be quite tiring, but for the hardened volcano dwellers, it was barely considered a workout.
"So how exactly are we going to go about meeting them, boss?" asked the Houndour, "With bounties sanctioned by Lust himself, I highly doubt they're going to be hiding out in plain sight." he added.
"Yeah, 10,000 Poke for each member captured plus a promotion or automatic initiation into Poke Whores, it's a miracle they still haven't been captured. I'd thought the whole sector would have dove on them by now." said the Growlithe. The continued heading up into the entrance as the Machoke noticed their conversation and turned to them.
"Hey, you kids, give me any information you have on team Sea Forest Fire, or I'll crush you!" ordered the Machoke as he punched his own palms while leering down at Magma and his team. It was obvious by his anger and stature that he was agitated when it came to finding information.
"Thermal.... Move this peasant out of my way...." said Magma in a monotone voice as if the looming Machoke was nothing more than a minor annoyance to him. The one indicated at Thermal was his Growlithe companion who simply yawned as if he too didn't even need to exert himself with such a task.
"Alright boss..." said the Growlithe as he approached the confused Machoke. He leapt up into the air and twisted around quickly as his backside began to glow. "Iron Tail!" He shouted as he slammed his fluffy tail into the Machoke's face.
The technique hardened his otherwise soft tail to become as hard as a bar of iron, and the Machoke was sent sprawling across the ground, skidding into a tree as it fell unconscious. Thermal's backside stopped glowing as he landed once again and the three companions continued on inside the Dungeon Team Association to begin their questioning.
"Dumbass... attacking a member of the Sun Fang Clan, what did he expect?" asked the Houndour as they noticed that the building was jam packed with various Dungeon Teams! Bounty Hunters were storming the place, demanding information from any leads possible, while those who didn't participate in the hunt were whispering rumors to one another of the team who supposedly killed a member of the Poke Whores!
"Well it looks like the only way we're going to find them is if we get into the business..." said Thermal as they continued heading through the crowds. The others nodded as they reached Raichu who had a look of aggravation as he was stamping papers like mad trying to file the paperwork from over 200 different teams at once.
Meanwhile back with Derek's point of view!
We had trained harshly for days on end, and finally we had managed to make it to the second level of the training forest. Luckily for us, we had discovered the forest was divided into four separate levels. The first level was nothing but pure traps which we had to dodge and maneuver, the second level was nothing but enemy pokemon we would have to battle, the third was a combination of both the first and second level, while the fourth was the mysterious boss pokemon we had to defeat.
Considering this was for Diamond or higher ranked teams, we weren't stupid enough to assume that these pokemon would be the run of the mill small time villains that Lust had scared earlier, these were going to be hard core, well trained fighters and it was going to take everything we had to keep our wits about us. Although we were not officially given rank promotions, Alexis and Typhoon had estimated that our skills were now worthy of a Gold Rank team, but that was still far, far below what we needed to even hold a candle to our future enemies.
"Alright girls, get ready. He's going to be coming from the right." I instructed, watching my team members prepare for battle. Our adversary was a Steelix, a 20 foot long snake made entirely out of steel with several spikes sticking from it's body. It was going to be incredibly hard to damage, but luckily, our various team elements gave us the advantage.
Brimstone was a Fire type which was strong against Steel types, which was good to our advantage. But Aroma was a Grass type, Charm was a Normal Type, Aurora was a Psychic type, and I was a Water type, none of which had any strengths against Steel types, but thankfully no weaknesses as well!
"Go!" I shouted as we leapt from our hiding spot to come face to face with the giant steel serpent who glared at us with it's perpetual smile. We launched into our assault, not giving it a chance to warm up it's own attack. I started off with my Brick Break skill I had acquired from the TM two weeks ago. My fist slammed into the Steelix with enough force to smash through a boulder! But due to the fact that boulders were rock, and this thing was solid steel, it had little effect besides causing the Steelix to stumble backwards a little.
"Flame Thrower!" shouted Brimstone as she unleashed a powerful burst of flame from her mouth, the vitamins she had been taking for the past two weeks had improved it beyond normal as the flames engulfed the opponent's face, causing it to roar out as it's body heated to the point of turning a fiery orange color!
"Dizzy Punch!" Shouted Charm as she charged forth and leapt up into the air just as Brimstone's attack ended. She unleashed a flurry of rapid punches to the still scorching hot Steelix, disorienting him from the barrage as Charm landed gracefully on the ground and began blowing on her hands, trying to cool them down.
"Magic Leaf!" shouted Aroma as she charged forward from below. This was a new technique she had picked up over the harsh hours of training and it had come to replace her original Razor Leaf skill. Seven strange glowing purple leaves shot from the large leaf on her forehead as she swung it, much like the regular Razor Leaf skill, but as they struck the Steelix, they exploded on impact!, sending it toppling to the ground,
"Psy Beam!" shouted Aurora as she fired off a concentrated burst of psychic power from the jewel on her forehead, having now grown used to her psychic powers. The beam blasted the Steelix's mind past the brink and it finally fainted, having been defeated by our combined might.
"Heads up, gang!" Shouted Aroma as we turned to see her staring back the way we had come, we had attracted more enemies from the sound of our attack, and this time two pokemon were coming our way, a Kadabra partnered with a Dragonair. We were quickly growing exhausted and didn't have the strength to stand up to a Dragon type and a Psychic type as well, so we made a break for it, hoping to be able to reach the third level of the Dungeon so our badges could at least record it as a warp point before we were defeated.
"This is insane!" I shouted as he kept running, dodging more pokemon on our way to find the next level, I turned around to face our chasers and held both hands outstretched to the sides as I prepared my attack.
"Blizzard!" I shouted, unleashing a massive wave of cold and frost which swept across the field, emanating from my body as the attack caused the Kadabra and Dragonair to freeze in their tracks, partially encased in blocks of ice. We kept running after that and finally located the exit from this level!
We plunged straight through the gateway, and into the third level of this hell storm that Aurora's parents called training! But just as we passed through it, we suddenly found ourselves warped back to the home of Alexis and Typhoon, shock and confusion on our faces as Alexis seemed to be holding a stop watch in her mouth.
"You're two hours for today are over, better luck tomorrow..." said Typhoon with a grin just as we collapsed. Partially relieved for a break and partially agitated that after all that work, we were suddenly yanked back to the start.
At least the house had been fully restored and was now an acceptable place to live in. As we finally settled down to eat and rest up, however, Alexis called me over to speak in private while the others ate. I wasn't sure what she wanted with me, but she seemed to think it was important.
"I suppose you should still be wanting to know... how you became a pokemon?" she asked as we were out back of the house, we sat before the forest and I realized that during this whole time of preparing for war, I had completely forgotten that I used to be a human!
"You see Derek, as I'm sure you've been told by Aroma, you are not the first case this has happened. I, myself was once a human too. On the record, this has happened four times to my knowledge." she explained. I blinked in surprise.
"But Aroma said it's only happened twice before now. You saved us from a meteor, and somebody else saved the world from time and space collapsing." I said. Alexis chuckled at that and plopped down into a laying position.
"There was one other human who came before me, but he wasn't a hero like us. In fact, his transformation was actually a curse." she said. "He was turned into a Gengar and was the leader of Team Meanies for a time before they disbanded. But basically we all had some kind of force which caused our transformations. I chose to willingly come here to save the Pokemon and later decided to stay." she explained.
"I had no memory of choosing though, I had asked them to wipe out those memories so it would make me bond with them better. And as for the one who saved time and space, his transformation came from an accident during time traveling, causing his personal time stream to become fractured and rewrite his history to be born as a pokemon. It is most likely that some outside force is the cause to your transformation, but I don't have any leads as to what it might be." Alexis said, causing me to rub my chin in thought.
"If you wish to discover why you have become a Pokemon, there is one lead I can give that might be useful. Search out the Xatu. He's a bit strange, but he has prophetic abilities and might know the cause of your transformation." She said before turning to walk back into the house, leaving me to my thoughts.
"I won't ask again... where are they!?" demanded the pokemon as he held the other up in the air by one hand. The angry pokemon was a Machoke, and he was currently trying to extract information from a frightened Treeko.
