Story Notes:
I'm just slapping this together for someone, so don't hate me if it's horrible. I'll add categories and other stuff as the story goes along. Only the first chapter is up.
Epilogue
Here's the ending to a very short story.

Taiyala and Rein decided that they were gonna be together forever, so the moved out of the city, and moved into another one, where nobody knew either of them.
Taiyala had stopped her thieving, as she was pregnant with twins. Rein quit with the mind games, and went out to look for a job, to support his new family.
Finally, a few months after the two moved out of the old city, the new city they lived in had a celebration to the pairing of Taiyala and Rein Domino. Months after that, Taiyala gave birth to fraternal twins. One boy, one girl. The boy was named Tai, after his mother, and the girl was named Winter, a slight tribute to Rein, as his name was almost a weather pattern.
Rein got three jobs. He was a weatherman by day, a telemarketer by afternoon, and a loving father and husband by night.
Now, 5 years later...
"Mommy! I don't want to go to school!" cried Winter.
"Oh you'll be fine." In all that time, Rein had taken her to speech impediment classes, and she finally got out of the habit of saying meowth with almost every line.
Her daughter had a few characteristics of her mother. Her nails were pretty long, but didn't retract like her mothers could. They also grew at an abnormally fast pace, making the need for fake nails useless. She didn't have fur all over her body like her mother, nor the ears on the top of her head, though she did have slightly pointy ears. Her golden brown hair complimented the hair that Taiyala has, but Winter only had it on her head. Finally, the eyes. They were green, and almost cat-like, but still resembled the little bit of human in her. Taiyala remembered when she was still young. She would go around the house and mark anything that was in sight, making it "Mine!" she would say.
"Dad, everyone'll make fun of me!" Tai voiced.
"Don't worry about it. You're gonna be fine! Just act like yourself." Rein said to his son.
While Winter totally looked more like her mom than her dad, Tai was the opposite. He looked more like his dad than his mom. Tan skin, short light brown hair; tall for his age, though. He thought he would stop growing, but that wasn't the case. He just kept growing and growing. Finally they just let it be that he grew at an enormous rate. He was 5, but his height said he was 15. A good staggering 5'2", while Winter was only 4'7". She felt completely dwarfed at first, but she got used to it.
"Well, sis? Ready for school?"
"B-but what about b-bullies?"
"Nah. I'll take care of 'em for ya."
You might have already guessed, but they don't act like the people they look most like. Winter got her personality from her dad, and Tai got his from his mom.
"You have a good first day of school, kids! I'll be here at 3:00 to pick you two up!" Taiyala said.
"Mom! Stop embaressing us!" Tai said.
"Please hurry back, mommy!" Winter said.
"We'll be back. Don't worry." Rein said.
As the two children walked to the front of the school for their first day of kindergarten, Rein asked "Do you think they'll be alright?"
"I wouldn't worry about it. They came from us, remember? Whatever life throws at them, they can take it." Taiyala said with a smile. She gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"You're probably right, Kail." Rein said with a smile of his own and kissed her back.
As they drove off, 5 kids were huddled around Tai all saying "Where'd you got to be so tall? That's cool!"
Winter had her own little fan club of sorts. They were all shy as well. Tai and Winter'll be having the time of their lives for the rest of their lives, and Taiyala and Rein'l be very proud parents, knowing they raised two very awesome and very loved children. The life they had was all but erased.
So, let's delve into some unanswered questions that I know you all have.
The policeman looking for Taiyala? He submitted his request to his chief and got everyone else to do it too. They were all fired, and rookies put in their place. Taiyala had not beenseen thieving in forever, so they gave up on her.
The two Anthro's parents? Rein's mother and father both died. Rein's mother had picked up a suicidal person's mind and killed herself, while his father had drunk himself to death.
Taiyala's mother? Well, when Taiyala left, she didn't have any family anymore, so she slit her own throat.
The way that Rein did all that? If you didn't guess, mind manipulation of the landlord, and teleported the food. He got ahold of the cable, the electricity, everything by manipulating the people involved with those things. He used some quick thoughts, and some great manipulating, to get what he needed before the two got married. He even went as far as to manipulate the minds of the people that he dealed with on a daily basis, what with the telemarketer business. He made loads in the first week. Alot more than anyone had done in their first week. He was given a raise, and 50% of the overall profits went to him.
Taiyala stopped with the thieving, like I said. She found something more important than jewels: family.
The entire family lived out the rest of their lives happily. Nothing bad ever came to them, and they were very popular with the neighbors. And when Taiyala put the children to bed, she always had a bedtime story to tell them, all about a thief who fell in love with a hostage. A bit of twisting of the story, but essentially, it was hers and Rein's life story.
I guess you would expect me to say something like 'And they all lived happily ever after.'
So, that's what I'm gonna do.
Everyone lived the best life they could and they all lived happily ever after.
