Chapter 35
Journey to Another World 3
Ch. 5
Team Galactic. Team Galactic. That team seemed to be popping up more and more often in my life. Or it would seem that they had a hand in almost everything that went on around this portion of the Pokemon world. Team Rocket in Hoen, Team Aqua and Magma in Johto to Kanto. It would seem no matter where anyone went, there would be a team that made it's life goal to upset there portion of this world.
Though wouldn't it be more appropriate to call them an organization? Team usually referred to a small number of people. These people were more than a few, especially this Team Galactic. Though I guess it would be harder to call them Organization Galactic. (Horrible name)
And what the hell was up with these strange uniforms? Full body latex suits? Who in there right mind would be wearing such a getup? Of course there are a few people out there who get off on such a fashion, though I could never understand why. Maybe someday I'll figure out why people like those kinds of cloths. But, don't people get sweaty in those kind of things? And once you did sweat, you'd practically be swimming in your own bodily fluids. YUCK!
Well I'm going to have to put those thoughts to the side. I need to face the problem that's staring me right in the face.
"So tell me, where did or who told you that I'd taken your Pokemon and killed them?" As I walked over to his sword that lay sticking in the ground, and removed it from the floor. As I worked the blade out of the floor I sheathing mine. The blade finally came loose but didn't look to badly damaged, though of course the tip was broken off. Then I looked over my shoulder at him. "HMM?"
"It was...it was."
"Well come on man. Spit it out already."
"Alright!" He looked up to me then lowered his head shouting. "It was one of the higher ups in Team Galactic." And from that point on he began to tell me about the time after we had our little encounter so long ago.
After he'd awoken from his little nap. He'd realized that at first that I wasn't around, and neither were his Pokemon or their Poke-balls. So into the woods he wondered until he was stopped by a Galactic grunt. Though the grunt challenged him to a battle, he couldn't challenge him because he didn't have his Pokemon. So the grunt, obviously smelling a wounded animal that had much potential once healed, took him under his wing and brought him into the organization.
It didn't take long before he was found out that he possessed a unique gift for spotting rare and unique Pokemon. From there they began to train him in different subjects, but found that he excelled in breeder tactics. And from that point on, he became the breeder for Team Galactic. Breeding stronger, faster, or just plain better Pokemon for the organization.
Though through all that, he still harbored a deep hatred for the younger me who wore those strange cloths and carried around that long sword.
So walking over to him I handed back his sword to him, with the hilt facing him. He looked up at me then back to the blade, only to look back up to me. I just simply smiled to him and nodded with my eyes closed. "It seems that you've got the wrong impression of me. Once I'd knocked you out, I took your Pokemon only to prevent them from being stolen by someone that might walk along and find you lying there unconscious. So if you want, we can get your Pokemon back no problem." As I offered his sword to him again. Then once again, he started to sob as he must have realized that he had been deceived for so long.
"Well is this not the most touching little scene. It almost makes me want to cry. NOT! I always knew that that human did not have the guts to actually kill you." Looking up from the fallen man I could see the two Lucarios in the nearest enclosure. The obvious aroused male was holding onto Rena's neck while pushing her face first into the glass.
"Donovin...please h."
"Shut it bitch. Your mine right now, and there's nothing that your pathetic master can do to stop me." As he pushed her a little harder into the glass, then licked her along her muzzle. "The only thing he can do, is watch helplessly as I make you my...little...bitch." He stroked his poke-hood. "And fuck the living daylights out of you." With that he grabbed her tail and was about to slam into her...
"GET...YOUR...FILTHY...PAWS...OFF...MY...WOMEN!!!" I said, as I slowly stepped towards the enclosure, but increased my pace with every step I took.
"There's no way human. You can't stop me. This glass is made of indestructible, reinforced glass. Not even a hyper beam attack can brake through..." His eyes started to go wide as I slowly lifted my head to stair at him with my eyes dyed red from popped blood vessels due to the stress or the sheer emotional overload I was feeling. Without a second thought, he realized what he was holding and brought both his hands down to Rena's hips and prepared to slam her home, when the sound of shattering glass and nails on a chalkboard was heard as the scimitar was nearly thrown through the glass. Only stopping when it nearly hit the other Lucario in the throat, but truly stopped by the guard to the hilt when it hit the glass.
"Im...impossible." Were his only words as he released his grip around Rena's neck and fell to the ground on his ass. Fear showing in his eyes, and his body shook. 'If there had been a tip on that blade..." The Lucario rubbed at it's neck where there was a small indentation where the blade had made contact with his fur. Only to shake further as I opened the door to the enclosure and unsheathe my own blade and continue to walk towards him. "Monster...Stay away from me!" Were his only words as he quickly jumped to his feet and ran over to the door that had once been his entryway to this enclosure. Where he managed to pull the door open and ran out sobbing while screaming. "Mom-me save me! Save me mom-me!"
From that point on the only thing that could be heard was the sound of my heavy breathing. With that I slowly turned around and looked at the quivering Pokemon. As I slowly approached her I could see the fear in her eyes for a moment, then just as quickly, she passed out. Pulling out her ball I recalled her into it and clipped it back onto my belt, and left the enclosure.
The boy was still sitting where I'd left him as I exited the enclosure. "How the hell did you manage to do that!" He pointed beyond me, though I didn't need to look behind me to see the sword nearly through the glass.
"As it is said, a mother is able to do amazing things when her child's in harms way to protect them. So is it true, that when a man is trying to protect those that he holds dear to his heart." To which we looked at each other for a while. "So what are you going to do now?"
"What?" He cocked his head to the side, and I made a sweeping motion.
"There are so many Pokemon here. What are you going to do with all of them, now knowing what you know?" To which he looked past me at the long corridor of enclosures.
"I'm not really sure. This is still all so sudden for me." He said as he got up from his knees and brushed them off. Then looked back up to me with my blood colored eyes. "You know, you should have your eyes checked out." He gave off a small shiver. "There kind of creeping me out."
To which I gave him a smirk. "Want some advice?" To which he nodded. "Set...them...free."
"WHAT!?"
"You heard me. Set them free." I said to him as I walked a little ways down the corridor only to stop at the shiny Ninetails glass enclosure. The Ninetails came up to the glass and started to rub it's body lengthwise across where I had knelt down to place my hand on the glass again. "Many of the Pokemon here were stolen from their original trainers, and would desperately want to return to them." As I looked away from the Ninetails to him. "After all, were going to get your original Pokemon back." Then got up and walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You get to start off again from where you left off." He adverted his eyes to avoid seeing my blood drenched ones. "Continue to where you wanted to go, see the rest of the world without being tied down to something, you know..." He didn't say a word as a smile slowly appeared on his lips, then turned and flipped a red switch on the wall next to the first enclosure.
With that, the two of us walked down the corridor as I looked past all the enclosures to see that the doors in the them were open. "I've flipped the emergency release button. It's supposed to be used in case there's a fire and allows a safe passage out into the wilderness." He told me, but I stopped walking when we reached the shiny Ninetails enclosure. For some reason the Pokemon was sitting down in front of the door to the enclosure and seemed to be whimpering. "What the heck are you doing Ninetails. Your free now." I turned to him and saw him doing a sweeping motion with his hands.
Though the Pokemon didn't pay him any mind as it continued to look pleadingly towards me, with those big puppy dog eyes that practically nobody could resist. "I think I know what it wants." As I walked forward and placed my hand on the handle of the enclosure.
"She." He said. Looking back to him I nodded then turned back to the door, which the Ninetails was now sitting on the other side of.
"Does she have a name?" I asked as I opened the door only to be tackled to the ground a moment later by the silver furred and blue tail tipped large fox. Then be given a full rough tongue bath once upon the ground. Which got me to laugh quite a bit as I tried to fend off the long tongue.
"Things seem to get weirder and weirder with you around." He paused as he placed his hands on his hips. "That shiny Pokemon has never shown any sort of kindness, to anyone that's come into here. She usually just goes onto a fit of rage at anyone in here." And just as he stopped she flopped down onto my chest and started to nuzzle me under my chin with her muzzle, while she began to croon.
He walked over to me and stood overlooking my head. "And to answer your earlier question, she doesn't have a name. But seeing how attached she is to you, I'd say that she wants more than a name."
"What do you think she wants besides a name?" I asked him while I wiped my slobber covered face with right and rubbed her muzzle with my left.
"Well isn't it obvious!" To which I shook my head. He just sighed, lowered his head, and shook it. "Since she refused to escape under her own will, and awaited you to release her..."
So placing my hands underneath her muzzle I lifted her muzzle up and looked her strait in the eye, "Is it true Ninetails? Do you wish to come along with me? And give you a name as well?"
"Nine." She said in a happy musical voice. Then proceeded to nuzzle me again under my chin, and while she did that I happily hugged her around the neck. We spent a little while like that until I heard him clear his throat.
"Aw, now isn't that touching. If the two of you lovebirds are done making out, then I recommend that we get out of here. Because in a little while, this place is going to be crawling with Team Galactic members."
So without a seconds delay, the three of us quickly headed up to his house and parted ways. He said that he was going to pack a few things and recommended that we meet up at the local center to discuss a few things. Then with a parting wave me and my new friend Ninetails quickly headed over to the center.
Though I had to laugh the whole entire way to the center as the Ninetails would constantly either jump around me or gust try and sniff everything in sight. Knowing that the person wouldn't be at the center for a while, I decided instead of going to the center, to treat the Pokemon to a treat and took her to the local statue. The reason behind this was simple, out here by the statue was a lot more open area and that meant more running room for her. I chased her around the statue and such for quite a while but had to stop and sit on a bench, since she was much more limber and faster than me.
After a good while, I called her back and she happily pranced over to me in good spirits. Obviously in a good mood at her first time being outside and in the sun in god knows how long. Once she was close enough to me she jumped up onto the bench where I sat and lay her head down on my lap, where I began to stroke her from her head down to her shoulders.
"It would seem that you enjoyed yourself quite a bit out there." She didn't say a word, only her tails began to wave a little faster back and forth. "Though I would like to ask you a few questions Ninetails." She stopped waving her tails around and looked up to me with her deep green eyes, while still laying on my lap. "The first is of course, 'Do you want to come along with me on my Pokemon Journey? And if so, would you be ok if I gave you a name?'"
She just sat up on her haunches and gave me a nod. "N-Nine-Ninetails." Then gave me a quick lick on the cheek.
Which caused me to smirk. "I'll take that as a yes to both." Then went into deep thought for a moment. Back in my world, I'd been fascinated by Dragons and such, (Due to the fact that I went to so many Renaissance fairs). And during my search of the different kinds of mythical beasts of different regions, I came across a very unusual mythic beast called the kitsune. And this Ninetails resembled that creature almost exactly.
"Then how about I call you...Kitsune? Or Kit for short?" Though I didn't have to wait for an answer as Kit quickly tackled me to the bench and started to give me an even fiercer tongue bath. To which didn't let up for at least a good ten minutes.
So when Kit finally let up on the slobber bath, she jumped down and sat on her haunches again. Swinging my legs back to the front of the bench I looked at her in confusion. "What's up Kit? Is there something else?" To which she raised a paw and pointed at my belt, and it all became clear. She wanted to be caught by me as well. So not wanting to put this off, I stood up and unclipped an empty ball from my belt and enlarged it. "And, welcome to the family Kit." Then tapped the ball to her forehead.Chapter End Notes:Disclaimer: All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners.
