Brotherhood Ch.1

*The cybornetic mightyena Mecha is sitting between two others. On his right is the vixen with 9 tales, each a differrent color, Jewelwriter. On his left is a male mightyena with sky blue fur on his underbelly. The lower part of his muzzle is sky blue as well and also the lower parts of his legs. He possesses saphire eyes and the fur on his head is long. It looks to be tied to a ponytail as though it was human hair. The front part of his "hair" is also sky blue and it droops down on both sides of his head.* Mecha: Hello everyone. It's been awhile. Much to long for you I'm sure loyal viewers.
Mightyena: Oh my god! I can't believe I'm actually here with Mecha-MightyenaD.O.R. and Jewelwriter!
Jewel: *Chuckles* Well it's nice to have a new mon around the place. It helps to have interaction with many to keep a sane mind. No offense Mecha.
Mecha: *shrugs* I guess so. *ahems* This guy here...is Xehta. He's the reason it took so long to get here. Well...getting him here was what took so long. Big contest and all, he won so he's here. Thought he'd make for some more interesting commentary.
Xehta: Hi everyone!
*a voice from a camera ball is heard.* "I hope I'm not interupting but I wanted to be sure the cameraball is ready for use." *Coming into the view was Yellow looking to the others.*
Mecha: *inspects it* Hmm...looks good. But do ya mind Yellow? We got to introduce the first chapter of Brotherhood.
Yellow: Ok. I'll be in the tech room if you need me. *takes off as the ball followed.*
Mecha: *ahems* Now then. When we last left the group, they had defeated Team Rocket, Link had returned home with Tensa latched around his arm, and Death and Ferra stuck around with the group. Oh yeah...and lets not forget that Sky was pregnant.
Xehta: I knew it was bound to happen.
Jewel: I thought it would be when they settle down is when that news comes up. Traveling like that is going to get a bit tricky for the crew of 8.
Mecha: *licks her cheek* That why we gots to see the chapter.
Xehta: *nods* Yeah. After all, people have been waiting for some time to see the new uhh...book right?
Mecha: *nods* Fits better then any other term.
"So without further adu," *apperaing behind Mecha and Jewel was Green, with Jewel looking to her.* Green: Shall we start the book of Brotherhood chapter 1?
Mecha: *nods* Yes lets.
Xehta: Man this is so cool. Hey Jewel, think I could get a kiss...for good luck for the whole book?
Mecha: *shoulder cannon appearse and fires Xehta out of the camera view* Alright...rule 1. No one gets kissy kissy from my Vixen.

Inferno yawned, as he stood up and stretched. He got up and went out to get some crisp morning air, smiling happily as he did so. It had been months since Sky told him the good news that made him pass out with joy...he really worked to convince Sky that was the truth. She wasn't to happy that he fainted right after she told him the news. Eventually though, she accepted that he was happy to be an expecting father, just a little caught off gaurd.

Since then they had returned to Inferno's home, where total chaos ensued. Everyone short of his father, sister, and all those who had come to fight Orochi, rushed him. They had all heard he was back and well, but they hadn't seen him since his funeral. Eventually though the atmosphere went from joy, to hate and suspicion when they all saw Death. It took a while, but eventually Inferno convinced everyone that Death wasn't a danger anymore. Death was the one most caught off guard after the initial hatred stopped...as a few of the young came up to him and started asking questions about his tentacles and wings.

Eventually when all the ruckus of his arrival ended, Inferno was back in his old den, the others welcomed inside aswell. Inferno was nearly bowled over by Cara when he told his family that Sky was pregnant. And soon enough more chaos ensued when word reached everyone else. It wasn't a quiet homecoming, which Inferno expected. But it did finally calm down, Rika taking the attention off the parents to be by offering to tell everyone how they had beaten Team Rocket. Inferno and Sky got everything ready, with help from their friends, and just had to wait for the day.

And when that day did come, Inferno was constantly by Sky. Obsidian, having experiance with the birth of two pups, helped out happily to deliver his grandchild. Or grandchildren as it turned out to be. Sky had given birth to an absol male, and a houndour female with blue fur. Both parents were overjoyed to see their offspring, and Obsidian admited that Sky had done great for her first delivery...and no fires were set by the houndour so that was another plus. Of course that comment was directed at Inferno, who had lite up the bedding after birth. And of course the gang was there, helping and watching as it all happened. A smile had been on all of their faces, even Death couldn't surpress it.

They had decided to name the boy Flint, and the female Azur. Azur's name was special to Inferno, Obsidian, and Cara. It was tribute to Azura, Inferno's mother. Sky was happy to be over the ordeal of birth, and snuggled with her mate and children. The other's kept smiling, as they got in their groups, thoughts of their own children in their heads.

Now, Inferno's two children were months old, open eyes, and talking. Inferno couldn't have been happier, he had a mate, and two beautiful children. And speaking of which one came out of the den, "Hey papa!" He felt a weight land on his back, as Azur giggled.

"Hey there Azur. Aren't you up early."

She smiled, "I got lotsa sleep papa...I don't need to snose (she ment snooze) in late."

Inferno chuckled, petting her head, "I guess you got me there."

She giggled, "Oh papa! Can I go with Uncie Death and Auntie Ferra swimming today?" During the time here, Death had taken to swimming, and when Azur got old enough she wanted to see what was so fun. So despite being a fire type, she loved water.

Inferno smiled, "I guess, as long as it's alright with them." Azur lept up, giving a cheer then went on to tell him how great a papa he was. He just chuckled, petting her and telling her to keep it down, since the others were trying to sleep. Azur nodded, smiling, then quickly had her attention grabbed by a blowing leaf. She began chasing and snapping at it, as the wind dragged it left and right, back and forth, under and over her head. Inferno couldn't help but smile as he watched Azur struggle to catch it.

Back inside the cave, Flint was just starting to awaken from his sleep, yawning and stretching. He got up, and looked about. He saw that his father and sister weren't in, meaning they were at the entrance, and the smalls laughs confirmed that. "Morning Flint."

The little absol turned to the speaker, "Morning Uncle Bane."

The mightyena smiled, stretching, "I see you old man and sis are already up...should we join them?"

"I think we should." Sky spoke up, opening an eye and yawning.

"Morning Mommy."

"Good morning sweety." She smiled, nuzzling and licking him. The three all proceeded to the cave's entrance, where they found Azur wrestling with a pile of leaves. "Morning my love." Sky called to Inferno.

He turned and smiled, "Morning love." they kissed and nuzzled.

Their kids rolled their eyes, not really care for the affection they shared with one another. Bane just chuckled, "Morning Inferno."

"Morning Bane. Rika still asleep?"

Bane chuckled, "Of course? Isn't sleep and eat all she does?" Inferno and Sky snickered.

Flint also chuckled, "That's not very nice Uncle Bane...and what if loudmouth tells Aunt Rika?"

"I am not a loudmouth!" Azur snapped.

Flint looked to her, "Loudmouth, loudmouth, loudmouth!" Azur growled and tackled him, and soon the two were tumbling and spinning around, playfully snapping at one another. Inferno chuckled, remember some of the tiffs he had with Cara, and did just like his father, moved in to break it up when it reached the limit for safe play. "Now now you two..." he was quoting his mother on this line, "You are ment to love thy sibling."

They all heard a chuckle, "funny...you had no trouble doing the same to Cara." Obsidian chuckled, walking up and into the sun, the grey in his fur standing out. "And then your mother had no trouble breaking you two up before one of you got hurt."

Inferno chuckled, "True."

Obsidian smiled, "And by the way...you two woke up the rest of us with that loudmouth argument...well all of us short of Rika." Bane laughed. Inferno smiled happily, as he was nuzzled more by Sky. The two pups both smiled, rushing to their parents side. Inferno smiled, before looking to Death who emerged with a yawn and grumble, Ferra right beside him, "You mind if Azur comes with you and Ferra swimming?"

Death eyed Inferno, "Well...I was hopeing me and Ferra could get some..."

"Of course we don't mind!" Ferra interupted, giving Death an elbow to the side, "We'd love to have her tag along."

"Can I go to?" Flint asked, to which he got a smile and nod from Ferra.

Death grumbled, "I don't get a say anymore do I?" Ferra just giggled, hugging and kissing him. Inferno smiled, chuckling as he saw his children playing around, waiting for their auntie and uncle to get moving. Azur was ducked down, ready to pounce on Flint, but before she landed, she was engulfed in a blue glow, and lifted up. "Aww! Uncle Blaze!"

Blaze chuckled, as he dropped her on a pile of leaves. Tia stretched as she entered the crisp morning air, "Ahh...good morning everyone."

"Morning Auntie Tia." Flint pipped as he laughed at his sister. That got him a tackle from her. The two began playfully fighting again. Inferno chuckled, as did Sky, "They're so energetic."

"Just like their father." Sky cooed, licking his cheek. "They'll want to be just like him too...and go out and see everything they can in epic travels."

Death nodded, "I wouldn't put it past them...especially Azur." The other's nodded, smiling as Inferno broke up the fight before it got to be to much. Death shook his head, "Alright you two...come on...let's go swimming."

The two pups gave a cheer, and rushed to Death's side. Ferra giggled, getting on her mate's back. Death grumbled, showing his irritation at not getting alone time with her by wrapping Ferra in his tentacles. Ferra giggled some more, "nice and cozy." Death grumbled some more, as those around him burst into giggles. The small lake, or large pond, was calm as always. Death liked that the most, no one else was ever here as far as he knew. And that was just fine, Death liked some quiet, though he got a lot less of it when the pups tagged along. "Cawabunga!" Azur had ran for the water, and lept in like a cannon ball.

Ferra giggled, "Banzai!" She did much the same as Azur. Death and Flint didn't rush, but just calmly got to the edge, and slipped into the brisk water. Ferra was already zooming around, enjoying her swim, Azur doggy paddling around, laughing. Death used his wings to get more speed in his swimming, though Ferra still held speed advantage. Flint smiled, "Auntie Ferra? How about a ride?" Ferra smiled, swimming up to him, and letting him climb on her back. Ferra then took off, while Flint laughed from his perch, waves being made as they went.

"Uncie Death...can you toss me?" Death rolled his eyes at Azur's request, picking her up in his tentacle and tossing her straight up. The houndour laughed, curling into a ball and splashing in the water. She surfaced, laughing and smiling, "Again!" Death sighed, and repeated the action, this time Azur went for a spin. Upon surfacing she broke into a giggle, "That was fun!" Death gave her head a pat, and continued his swim. Azur smiled, and swam to an edge getting up onto dry land. With a giggle she walked off a bit, then ran, grabbed a vine that was hanging down, and used it to swing out further into the water.

Flint meanwhile had lost his balance and fell off Ferra, laughing as he surfaced, spitting out a little water. "Thanks auntie Ferra." The floatzel smiled, petting his head, then swimming off. She got her way under Death, and snicked beneth the water. She got up, right under him, then gave his belly a rub. Death gave a small murr, smiling as Ferra surfaced. "You know...we could be having some special fun right now...if you hadn't been eager to play the loved auntie."

Ferra smiled, poking his head, "We can do that tonight." she giggled, kissing him, "A little...night swim...and some extra fun." she giggled up. Death smiled, licking her face as his tentacles wrapped her in a hug. "I'm guessing that means it's a date." she smiled at him sweetly, as he nodded. As they enjoyed their company, the shiny colored houndour proceeded to prove she was better by diving down and holding her breath longer then Flint. Flint just responded with a splash to her face. Soon the pups were in the shallow water, engaging in a splash fight.

************

Night had decended upon the area, and the pups were exhausted from their play during the day. Inferno managed to keep quiet as he saw Ferra and Death sneak off for a night swim. As Inferno looked at the moon, his smiled grew. "Still can't believe I'm a father."

"You think I find it any easier to believe I'm a momma now?" Sky giggled, sitting by his side. "The kids are asleep."

He smiled, "Not surprised, after everything they did today."

"Like you were any different as a pup?"

Inferno chuckled, "point taken." he smiled, nuzzling her, "Ahh...this is nice. No worry about saving the world. No one trying to attack us."

Sky nodded, "Yeah...it is nice."

He licked her cheek, "Not that it wasn't fun...but it's always nice to have a vacation."

"And we deserve it."

Inferno nodded, "Yep." he smiled, "I love you Sky."

"I love you too Inferno. Now and forever." She kissed him, and he happily returned the affection. They all deserved a vacation from running and fighting for life and limb, and they were gonna get it.

Xehta: I can't believe I got blasted by Mecha! I could sell the hair that falls off on ebay for a fortune!
Mecha: *blinks* Well this isn't fun...he likes getting zapped!
Green: *looking to Mecha with a sweatdrop on her head.* I'll call for Blue. I think we might have knocked something loose in his mind.
Xehta: No. I'm okay. I'm just so excited to be here!
Green: You know Mecha, Yellow has been trying to add effects to your cannon. If you want I'll take over while you get fittd if you like.
Mecha: *thinks about then nods* Alright. *heads off to Yellow's room*
Xehta: Looks like Jewel was right. They did have to settle down.
Green: Indeed. and to be honest this is a record since I think, outside of commentary, that there was no trouble damage, or anything breaking into the PG area.
Xehta: *nods* Yeah. Then again though, don't these guys need the vacation? They've done enough saving for now.
Green: Knowing fate, being the element of time, conflict is bound to happen eventually. What kind I never said.
Xehta: Yeah. That's a given. I don't see how any future threat will top Orochi though.
Green: You'd be surprised. For now I think it would be time to close this story for now.
Xehta: *nods* yep. Well, later every- *moans emit from the direction of the rooms* -one...guess Yellow had a price tag on the...added effects.
