Brotherhood Ch.15

Xehta: *waves* Hey all.
Mecha: *smiles* Yo.
White: Hey boys. *waves*
Xehta: Hey White.
Mecha: *smiles* Lovely. *licks her cheek* Well, we've got a whole new chapter for you readers.
Xehta: Yeah. Albel is forcing himself into the group. Tension is sure to be on high.
White: Clearly that's a little unnerving.
"They'd have better luck biting wires on an explosive." *Xehta felt the dark fem Black appear behind him.*
Xehta: *yelps!* Don't do that!
Mecha: *nuzzles Black* Hey pretty girl.
Black: Hey love. *chuckle*
White: Sorry. My sister can teleport though shadows.
Xehta: I know. I wish she'd stick to popping behind Mecha though.
Mecha: *snickers* I'd rather pop in behind her. *licks the dark fem's cheek*
Xehta: *sighs* I set that up.
*Black laughs it up* White: I feel like the only light in a dark room from that joke. *she chuckled.* Anyhow what can happen with foes calling truce? How 'bout we find out mmm?
Mecha: *picks the sisters up on his back* Keep things in order Xehta. Later readers. *heads off to his personal space*
Xehta: *...* Well, let's get started.

The lucario took a seat against a tree, "Glare all you want fools, I'm helping you, like it or not."

Inferno snarled, "Not if we kill you!"

Albel scoffed, "They'll be plenty of time for me to beat you down later. However...I think the Dragoon Platoon should be a more pressing concern for you." He smirked, "And I know where you can do the most damage. And I'll be able to take Nadox's head." None of the group lessened their snarls. Albel shrugged, "Fine...I thought you'd like to pay back the one who practically ordered that scum monkey to abduct the runts...but I was wrong."

Sky's eyes gleamed with malice, "What!?"

Albel turned, "Nadox had kept me indisposed giving that wretch Tikano a chance at you. Had I not been preoccupied...Tikano wouldn't have been able to do a thing."

Sky's snarl grew, "Where is he!?"

Albel held up a finger (or whatever you call it), "I'll lead you there...that's your only choice."

Everyone glared, snarling, until Inferno sighed, "Fine...but if I see even the slightest sign of trickery...I'll kill you."

Albel smirked, "Brave words."

Violent looks were all around the group, most of them directed at Albel. Flint was about the only one who didn't seem worried about the lucario. The little absol tilted his head, "Umm...why are you fighting against the Brotherhood? Weren't you one of them?"

"I was arrested for treason! For letting you escape my fortress, than to fail at stopping you after the weapon production facility's destruction."

Bane had a guess on who made the charges, "Nadox, right?"

Albel nodded, "I'm going to gut him!"

None in the group seemed too convinced of his sincerity to helping them. Flint eyed the canine curiously; he didn't see why everyone was being so cold to him. Was it because he had been beaten up by Albel? But, he should have been yelled at too, since he stood his ground to fight the lucario. Flint shrugged, since Albel didn't seem too irked by the cold shoulder there wasn't any point to worrying.

They continued to move on, the sun slowly moving across the sky. Conversation was non-existent as they trekked on towards their goal. With the lucario leading, no one felt like talking, only glaring at Albel's back. If the lucario noticed the death stares he got, he pretended to not notice them, he had his priorities, and killing Nadox was number 1.

Albel had never liked Nadox, if for no other reason, than because he was an arrogant bastard. But making the human worse in Albel's eyes was that Nadox thought little of pokemon. He was also just a disgusting retch that had to be destroyed.

The sun had eventually sunk into the horizon, and the group settled down in a covered area to rest. Albel took a long breadth from them, lying against a tree. When night overcame the area, all of them had fallen asleep. But Flint didn't sleep long, waking up a few minutes later after rolling onto a stick. He grumbled lightly, as he stood up, shaking to make sure none of the stick remained. As he yawned he noticed Albel was gone. The little absol tilted his head, and set off to find the missing male. Not too long into his search he heard noises, and went to their source.

In a small clearing, Flint found Albel, training it looked like. The lucario was leaping and slashing, attack at transparent soldiers. Flint watched as Albel displayed amazing swordsman ship, abilities that Flint hadn't seen during his brief fight with the lucario. Albel unleashed ever attack he had, going faster and faster as the number of holograms increased, two appearing for every one he made vanish. The little absol could only stare, mouth agape as Albel vanished for a brief second, before all the holograms vanished.

"Ha." Albel picked up a small device from the ground, slipping it into his metal claw. "At least I got something from the Brotherhood that was useful." He chuckled, sheathing his katana. "Can I help you pup?"

Flint fought back a yelp, as he stepped forward, "How did you do all that?"

Albel smirked, "It's simple fool...I've been at it for years." He tilted his head, "I remember...you're that absol who thought to stand against me."

Flint nodded, "Yeah. I didn't know you were that tough though."

Albel snickered, "You're brave...I'll give you that. But you'd be wise to know not to mess with an opponent who's got more experience and skill, cause next time I might not spare you."

Flint growled, "I'll get stronger! Then I'll kick your butt!"

Albel scoffed, "Fool. You'll never be able to match my strength." He tilted his head, "Why are you even here anyway?"

Flint tilted his head, "Why? You weren't where you were when I went to sleep, I wondered where you were."

Albel eyed the pup, "Why? You don't look for someone you hate, unless you plan to kill them." The pup blinked, confused, "You hate me don't you."

Flint shook his head, "Not really."

Albel blinked, his eyes slits as he eyed the pup, "Why? I beat you around. I tried to kill you family."

Flint shrugged, "Yeah. But I stood my ground intending to fight...and it was your job to fight my mom and dad and aunties and uncles. You're on our side though, so there's no need to fight now."

Albel shook his head, "Tsk, life hardly so simple. Fighting is all there is to this world."

Flint shook his head, "I don't think that's true. There may be a lot of fighting now, but when my momma and papa beat the Brotherhood, the fighting will stop."

Albel chuckled, "You're so naïve." He started to head back to the group, passing the pup, "Dream on fool, dream on." Flint tilted his head, than shrugged as he followed.

When morning broke, everyone stretched and rose, Albel having beaten them all to waking. When everyone was up and walking, he headed off, telling them to follow. With a few glares and grumbles, they did so. "We're almost there fools. Don't lag behind."

The group followed the lucario, stopping briefly to rest and eat up for the fight ahead. When they finished eating, they continued on their path, until a large fortress came into sight. The fort looked to be open, walls around just to prevent anyone from sneaking in and maybe store weapons and house the human troops. Around it several Dragoons flew patrol, looking for them most likely. Albel smiled, "That is the heart of the Dragoon Platoon. Reduce it to rubble, and the rest will follow." He smirked, flexing his metal claw.

Inferno eyed the place, "How do we sneak in?"

Albel laughed, "We don't. They already know we're coming, so no catching them off guard. We charge in and shatter them. Or are you fools afraid?"

Death snarled, "Not a chance mongrel!"

Albel smirked, "Good...don't hold me back fools, or else I might just kill you." He rushed forward, katana drawn. The others didn't like the idea, but had little choice, rushing behind the lucario. The Dragoons saw them, and raised the alarm before rushing against the attackers.

Red: Brave words from brave souls. Between Flint and Albel I felt like the two would be like the twins.
Mecha: *walking up with a big smile* Like the twins? Some girls pass out in bliss? *chuckles*
Xehta: Ha ha. *rolls eyes* We're talking bout Flint and Albel.
Red: Yes. Since that's how I see the two at the moment.
Mecha: *nods* Think you got a point.
Xehta: How did you...
Mecha: I wrote it remember.
Xehta: *nods* Yeah that's right. I sometimes forget...I mean you spend so much time humping I wonder how you can write.
Red: *snicker* I think you mean to say he's a Pink elementian? *keeps from laughing louder*
Mecha: *noms Red's ear*
Xehta: Seems like a filler chapter though. I mean the story is only about 1200 words.
Mecha: Hey! It ain't filler! It's character development.
Red: *laughs* You want to mess a story up... try to talk to Pink about making an orgy happen in a fight scene.
Pink: *Off camera* "I HEARD THAT!"
Red: *turns to the back* I'd expect it from you.
Pink: *off camera* "If it was me I'd turn those guys on each other in lust... at least they'll have fun before they fall."
Xehta: *rolls eyes* Remind me...did I get here as a prize or punishment.
Mecha: A little from column A, a little from column B.
