Brotherhood Ch.5

Jewel: *shakes her head.* I think it's been too long if you are aiming that high. I mean we haven't gotten into the fights yet.

Jewel: Exactly. And that part is up to the roll of the die. Speaking of...what kept you sane while we were away love?

*Whence* Jewel: Blue... if you please. *Watches blu take Xetha to the medical part of the cave.*
Mecha: And unless you want scrambled eggs...don't even think about touching that pretty blue vixen!
An eerie silence had fallen over the group, all the adults were tensed up. The pups had been put into a safe location, behind the adults, who stood between them, and the threat that was quickly approaching. Inferno didn't know what it was, but he knew it had quite a few in number from the sounds of it. "Alright...any thoughts on who's coming to see us?"
Death shook his head, "Nope. It could be anything. Possibly pokemon or people we've never met." He was closest to the pups, since he could be the most intimidating, and help make sure no one came near Azur or Flint. All the pups could do was look to one another, unsure of what was going on. But the commotion was enough to have them both scared, shivers and whimpers over coming them. Death smiled, "Don't worry you two...your family won't let a thing happen to you." Their uncles words were some much needed comfort. Death turned back to the disturbance, which was almost upon them.

"Damn it! They beat us to them!"
"Calm down...that means we can come to the rescue, and prove we really are good guys." The latias replied. He just nodded, they had to help now.
"And just where do you think you're going!?" a figure dropped from the trees, and took up a battle position.

The gang all let out a snarl when they saw who emerged from the brush, backed by several different pokemon and humans armed with blades. It was a face they had hoped not to see for some time. "Well...we meet again."
Death glared, "Sima Yi."
The human laughed, bowing. He wore the same clothing as when they last met, purple regal like robes, and white gloves, claws on the finger tips. The only difference between then and now, was the mark stitched into the robes fabric on the heart. It was a black claw gripping earth. "The one and only. Sima Yi, master strategist of the Brotherhood."
Inferno blinked, "Brotherhood?"
"Yes...the Brotherhood. To be exact...we are the Brotherhood of Shadow." Sima chuckled, "And we shall take over this world, then plung it into ever lasting oblivion!"
Death snarled, "And where do you intend to betray them and rule it for yourself you power hungry freak!?"
"I shall do no such thing. Really Death...trying to sow dissention? How cowardly." He smirked, "But...I suppose you have to be cowardly...if you want to protect those two runts."
Inferno snarled at Sima Yi, "You won't touch them! I'll rip your throat out before that happens!"
Sima Yi just chuckled, before point his clawed, gloved finger at them, "Attack!" The warriors obeyed, charging the group. Inferno and Sky were the first to meet the enemy. They were going up against five humans, along with a mightyena, rhyperior, 2 pidgeot, and a gliscor. The two mates just smiled, they knew they'd win, hands down. The two rushed to meet their opponents, letting the others pick off the rest. The Brotherhood warriors felt confident themselves, but Inferno wasn't sure how long that confidence lasted, after he gave a burning dark iron tail the the rhyperior's jaw, sending it skyward, before it landed with a thump, out cold. "One hit one kill." Inferno smirked, as Sky unleashed an ice beam on the pidgeot, freezing it's wing and sending it to the ground. The humans didn't flinch, nor did the pokemon. They just pressed forward, humans swinging blades, while gliscor came in with a X-scissor. The mightyena was going to use a crunch. Sky and Inferno just lept up, letting the attackers collid with one another. Blasting the other Pidgeot with a dark fire blast, ice beam combo when it tried to hit them. The two landed, chuckling at how pathetic they were, getting angry looks as the humans and pokemon stood back up and readied for more battle.
Rika and Bane faced against three humans, and four granbulls. The two mates just smirked, "To easy." They said in unison, before rushing to meet their attackers. The humans moved around attempting to flank while the granbull met head on. Two used take down, the other two choosing to use crunch. Rika smirked, and unleashed a shock wave, Bane using Dark Pulse. The canines were knocked back, growling and groaning, one of them, the one closest to the attacks, out cold. The humans moved in from the sides and back, blades raised. Rika smirked, leaping into the air, and spining while using iron tail, knocking the blades out of hand. While Bane blasted them one by one with shadow balls. The humans were all coughing, groaning in pain as they struggled to stand. The granbulls were all back up and glaring, before rushing the two again.
The two best off of the whole battle were Blaze and Tia. No humans in sight, but there were flying and poison types. Nothing that they couldn't handle. The two pokemon just let their attackers come in, before they caught them all off gaurd with a barrage of psy beams and thunder bolts. One by one they pokemon were sent flailing away, crumbling in a dazed heap, if not out cold. "Man this is too easy." Blaze said with a smirk, as some of the would be attackers stood back up, before charging again. Sima Yi could only smirk, watching as they fell for his plan.
Death and Ferra weren't faced with any one. The others had the attackers held up, so they were protecting the pups. Azur and Flint were watching in awe as their parents and aunts and uncles took down the attackers one by one. Azur was cheering on their father at the top of her lungs, jumping up and down. Death smiled, then growled, whirling about to stop a gallade dead in it's tracks. "So that's his plan huh? Distract the others, while a small group moves in to take the pups hostage." Death chuckled, "Sorry...not happening to my niece and nephew." He blasted the fighter/psychic type with a shadow balls, then tossing him to his comrades. The small force stared down Ferra and Death. They obviously were ment to face Sky and Inferno, since it was water and fighting types. And that was a poor choice against Death and Ferra. Death had made sure he could easily take down opposition that favored him as an opponent. He started unleashing air slashes and cutters.
The pups quickly ran behind their uncle, as Ferra joined him in the barrage, forcing the task force back. But as they pushed them back, the pups were being snuck up on from behind. A breloom used the task force diversion to sneak up on them. With a smirk it moved in to swipe them up, and force the groups surrender. As it's paws neared, it let out a horrible shriek, reiling back, clutching at its eye. "My eye! My eye! That bastard pup! He got my eye!"
Thanks to his natural talent for sensing danger, Flint could feel the breloom. And, thanks to all his training, managed to grab his little sword, and gave a slash upward, nailing his attempted kidnapper in the face. The breloom kept falling back, screaming in pain, "Fuck fuck fuck! Damn it! Fucking mutt! I'm gonna kill..." he was blasted, an arial cutter sending him into a tree, hard. Death growled, "Fucking little peckerd piece of shit Sima Yi! Can't he at least just plot for battle, not conspiricy!" he was forced back onto the task force, which turned out to be bigger then he thought.
Sima Yi cursed, stomping a foot into the ground. "Damn it all..." his plan had failed, so he had only one choice left. He had to cut his loses. "Tatical Retreat! Reverse forward march you idiots! That's an or..." he stopped, seeing a figure swoop in. "What are you doing here!?"
All at once, the attention of the adults in the group went to the pups location, when their yelps were heard. Standing away from everyone, clutching a pup to each arm, was an infernape. He smirked, "I...Tikano, second in command of the Black Brigade, claim these two prisoners for myself!"
Sima Yi growled, "Damn it! Those should be my prisoners!"
Death snarled, as Tikano lept back. Death would have persued, but all he could do was cough up blood, a hitmonlee managing to strike him in the gut with a mega kick. The mightyena was airborn, before being launched back to the ground by another hitmonlee's mega kick. Tikano left, the gang unable to persue due to the pressure put on by Sima Yi's men. "Damn it...fall back you idiots! That's an order!" Sima Yi quickly beat a retreat, his men following suit, but only after several more minutes of fighting. As they left, the gang quickly gathered, Death on weak legs. "Damn it...fucking bastards blind sided me."
Inferno growled, "Fuck them." he took a deep breath, "you okay Death?"
"Yeah...I'll be fine...sorry."
Sky sighed, "it's not your fault. There were to many...and that ugly monkey was fast." They all nodded. "What we need to do now if follow and get my babies back!" Once again they all nodded and headed off in persuit.

Thanks to Sima Yi's soldiers still lingering to battle with the gang, Tikano had managed to get the pups to a fortress. With out any care he tossed them both into cages, making sure Flint was without his sword. "This is too good." he chuckled, "i'm gonna get a lot of praise for this."
"Sir. What about the parents? They are sure to come here for them?" Said one, human, soldier.
"Didn't our leader want them taken care of? You fool...I want them to come. If I can capture them..."
"But should master Albel return?" spoke the soldier again. Tikano cursed, he hadn't planned on that.
Another soldier, a primape, entered just then, "Sir! We've recieved a letter! From Lord Nadox."
Tikano took the letter and began reading it, before letting out a laugh, "it seems Lord Nadox has made sure Albel won't be here by the time of my triumph." he smirked, "Lord Nadox shares little love for our leader...and is keeping him detained for a while."
The first soldier nodded, "Meaning that Master Tikano may take the glory all for himself upon the defeat of the enemy."
"Soon...I'll be master of the Black Brigade. Men! Prepare for our visitors!" The soldiers within the room all raised a cheer.
Flint and Azur just shivered, whimpering lightly as they stayed together. "What's gonna happen Flint?"
He shook his head, "I don't know. I hope mommy and daddy will be okay." Azur nodded, burying her face into her brothers fur, crying softly. They had wanted some excitment...but now they just wanted to go back home.
