Brotherhood Ch.6
Mecha: Welcome everyone! It's time to see what's gonna happen to Tikano.
Xehta: The bastard! Kidnapping the pups. He's lucky I'm not there to meet him.
Purple: As if one villian of a group attack is enough.
Xehta: *tilts head* Wha?
Mecha: *nods* I second his comment.
Purple: Wasn't the group attacked by one leader of the Brotherhood only to have the cubs kidnapped by another?
Xehta: Oh!
Purple: Shows the honesty in villiany.
Mecha: Like the saying goes, "There is no honor among thieves."
Purple: Right. Can't wait to see internal fighting along with our heroes beating the tar out of them.
Xehta: Yeah. But we need to start the story for that.
Mecha: *nods* Right! So...enjoy readers.
Flint and Azur were still snuggled together, Azur lightly crying. "Don't worry Azur. Everything we'll be fine. I'm sure mom and dad and the others are gonna save us."
"But...these guys are waiting for them. How can we be sure mama and papa will be fine when they get here?" She said in sniffles.
Flint smiled, "Cause they're mom and dad." Azur sniffled, then smiled as she nodded. "And our aunts and uncles aren't gonna sit by while we're in trouble."
"Right!" Azur smiled, tail wagging lightly as she waited with her brother for their family.
**********
Inferno, Sky, Death, Rika, and the others were all hot on the trail of Tikano. Inferno leading the way, Sky right behind him. Both parent's were gonna tear the infernape to pieces for taking their pups, and the others were just as inclined. Death was staying in the center, head down. No matter what anyone said, he felt responsible for their abduction. He was supposed to protect them, and yet he couldn't. He couldn't stop that monkey from coming in and just plucking them up. Death knew he screwed up, and he intended to make up for it...somehow.
But for now, all anyone could do was keep on the trail, following Tikano's scent and signs of passing. Then they saw it. A small stone fort. The bricks used to make it were a vary drab yellow. Put considering that the land around it was all sand, dirt, and rock...it wasn't to surprising. Most likely the stone came from the mountains around the fort. Inferno smiled, "That's where he took them...no doubt." The others nodded. They advanced on the fortress, all of them on gaurd. They were certain that an ambush was awaiting them at the door, or somewhere inside the building.
That didn't matter though, all that they cared about was getting in, killing that bastard Tikano, and getting the pups back. Sky was worried sick, not sure just what had happenend to her pups. What if that sick monkey decided to..."use" Azur? She didn't know a thing about him, so it was possible. Or maybe he'd "use" Flint. Sky shivered, growling angrily at her own thoughts, wishing that she could just tear him apart now. It took all of her control not to rush headlong into conflict. Of course, Inferno was doing little better, but he wasn't letting himself think of what could be happening. He was managing to keep his focus on killing that infernape.
The group carefully crept their way up to the main gate, and possibly only gate, and entered. They weren't afraid of being sealed in, the gate held no actual door to shut. They walked forward, until they reached a wall, two hallways open to them, one to the left, one to the right. And the corridor to their right had 3 human soldiers, and two arcanine coming at them. The soldiers all wore black armor, with black helmets that covered head and face, short of breathing and eye holes. They also wielded large, two-handed swords. "For Tikano!"
Sky unleashed a razor wind, intending to cut the three humans down. But the lead soldier managed to meet the attack. His sword was shattered, but he and his comrades were unharmed. The warrior then pulled out a dagger, and lept at them. Tia grabbed him, and tossed him away, his head hitting the wall and knocking him out, before noticing a gallade and another human coming. As Tia and Blaze went to meet the two additions, Bane and Rika took on the arcanines. The arcanines were smirking, the one on Rika charging her. The action got him a swift and painful zap from the chu, but he didn't stop, and kept charging. Rika smiled, leaping over him, striking down with an iron tail. Bane was dodging fire fangs, managing to get in bites as he did so. But despite the damage that the chu and yena piled on, the arcanine kept coming. "Damn...they're determined."
Inferno and Sky were facing off against one of the human soldiers, dodging his slashes. Despite the weapons size, he was quite quick with it. But not quick enough on his own to dodge an ice beam. "Arrgh!" The soldier glared through his helm at Sky, charging her and attempting to cleave her head from her neck. Sky dodged it, barely, and blasted him with another ice beam. Inferno came in from the side, blasting the soldier with a fire blast. "Damn...these guys are tough." The soldier was still standing, "no doubt...they're the parents...fucking Tikano...such a cowardly tactic to abduct...lord Albel would.." he shook his head, and went back into the fight, going for whoever was closer, and not letting up on his target.
Death and Ferra were up against the other human, who was fast in his wishes for different opponents. Death's tentacles made combat nearly impossible for him, since they'd wrap around his hands, and prevent him from swing his blade. And Ferra would take advantage of the binding to strike again and again. The soldier managed to get one hand free though, and grabbed Ferra's tail, "You're gonna make my armor rust!" He yanked her back and tossed her away, before grabbing his dagger and swiping at Death's tentacles, making him release the soldier. "Alright..." he got both hands on the sword, and rushed the mightyena, slashing away. "Die!" Death smirked, easily dodging, before slamming a shadow ball to the helmet, which got a sonic boom to it at the same time. "Arrrgh!" he collapsed, out cold.
Tia was going against the human of the two additions, and found it surprising he was almost able to actually cut her. But he lacked the strength, or maybe it was the blade, to fully cut. All he left were slight dents, but that attacks still caused her some pain, especially the punches and kicks. But she paid him pack with her own punches, putting big dents in his armor. The human wasn't giving up though, despite the pain from her attacks, he kept attacking, pushing at her without any sign of stopping. Blaze was seeing similar dedication from the gallade, who despite burns and blasts, wasn't letting up. Blaze kept using fire blast and psy beam. "Damn it...persistance little..." he ground his teeth, before taking a deep breath, then unleashing an eruption. The gallade was shot back, hitting a wall with a grunt, then going to the floor with a groan, out cold. The human did much the same when Tia get a mega punch to his head.
Rika and Bane had finally managed to bring down their opponents, using some hard iron tails to the head. With the two canines out cold, the two managed to see Sky and Inferno trip the last soldier, and blasts him as he fell. Inferno smirked, "Wow...they're determined." his smirk vanished, "Come on! Let's get going!" They nodded, and proceeded to investigate the fortress. Unfortunately it was slow goings, the fortress being broken into several rooms per floor, and nearly every room was filled with Black Brigade soldiers. The task was made somewhat easier thanks to the fact that the corridors went around the perimeter of the fort, meaning the rooms were in the center. But it still was time consuming looking in every room.
When it became obvious that the pups weren't on the first floor, they went up to the second, and then the third. When the last door, and enemies, on that floor was taken care of, the group sighed. Inferno looked to the stairs, "There's only the roof left. I hope they're there." The others all nodded, and followed him up. None of them admited it, but the constant fights up to here had drained them. They just hoped that they wouldn't have to face much more. As they got to the roof, they saw two figures in a cage. Sky smiled, "FLINT! AZUR!" She was the first to rush forward, the pups calling out to their parents, but before the reunion could get under way, Tikano lept down, an axe and mace in hand. "So touching...sorry I'll have to cut this short."
Inferno snarled, "If you harmed one head on either of their heads...not even Arceus can help you."
He paid Inferno no mind, as several soldiers appeared, "Now...we can do this one of two ways. You can give up, and willingly go to our lord. Or I can kill you, and bring you to him in pieces."
The others glared, as Inferno gave another snarl, "how about option 3? We tear you apart!" They wasted no time and rushed they monkey. Tikano countered their rush, bring down his axe, just to hit the ground, the group splitting up to take on different opponents. Inferno and Sky were facing Tikano themselves. Rika and Bane were facing a human and gallade. Tia and Blaze had a human and hitmonlee. Death and Ferra were facing off against a human with a tyranitar. The pups were still in the cage, and despite the circumstances were at the bars watching in eager excitment.
Death decided to face the human, since he found them pretty easy to handle, Ferra using type advantage against her opponent. The soldier slashed at Death again and again, like his comrades, he was fast with his large weapon. But Death was faster, and since they were on the roof, he could also fly up now, making the fight that much harder on his opponent. Ferra giggled, running circles around her opponent. Though he was faster then most tyranitar, he was slower than Tia. And since Tia liked to train with Ferra, the floatzel knew what to expect from her opponent. Every attack the tyranitar made missed, but Ferra saw one major problem about his attack style. Every attack the tyranitar used was close combat. In fact...all of the Black Brigade soldiers used only close combat. Range was their weakness. Ferra drew back, smiling, "Can you hit me from there?"
He growled, "Watch me!" He rushed her, but soon regreted the attack, as a powerful water pulse struck him in his charge, pushing him back, and confusing him. Ferra giggled, preparing an aqua jet, and started to collide into him again and again, making the large pokemon groan in pain. The human wasn't faring any better against Death. Air Cutters were taking their toll on his body, while Death was still doing well, flying in the air above his head. The human could only curse and leap in a futile attempt at bring down the winged mightyena. Death was getting bored though, and wanted to finish the fight then and there. With a smirk, he created a smokescreen, and before the soldier knew it, he was struck several times then sent flailing out of the haze, sprawled on the gound unconcious. The tyranitar soon joined his comrade, unable to withstand Ferra's barrage.
Tia and Blaze were really happy with their foes, the tyranitar going against the human, while Blaze faced the fighting type. The human wasn't daunted, and attacked Tia with the same vigor his fellows possessed, slashing, punching and kicking at her, attempting to bring her down. But every slash only managed to just barly leave a mark, while his punches and kicks were blocked and retaliated against. One blow even knocked his helmet off, but he kept up the battle. Tia sighed, "Damn...they just won't go down." Blaze wasn't even bothering to play with the hitmonlee. Every attempt he made on the typhlosion, got a psy beam in response. But despite the super effective attacks, the hitmonlee didn't quit. It kept getting up and rushing in to attempt another strike. Blaze was getting irritated, glaring at the fighter. Blaze's eyes started to glow blue, before a psychic attack tore into the hitmonlee.
Blaze watched as his opponent stumbled, "This is the part where you fall down." Blaze said with a smirk, before the hitmonlee collapsed. Tia was starting to get annoyed herself, the human not letting up, even after she broke his sword. He kept coming with his little dagger, and Tia was losing her patience. "Why won't you just stop!?" She spun, her tail glowing the glow of an iron tail, and smacking into him. He went sailing and landed on the hitmonlee, both of them now out cold. Tia huffed, "You made me do that."
The mightyena, raichu pair weren't to displeased with their foes. Rika had the human, and Bane the gallade. Bane wasn't that happy with his opponent, since his advatage was gone, and he was still weak to fighting attacks. But at least it wasn't a full fighter. The gallade charged, preparing a leaf blade and night slash. Bane growled, and held his ground, then lept above the attacker, managing to get a shadow ball to the head...then a kick to the gut. Bane landed with a grunt, and quickly got on his feet, in time to dodge and close combat attack. The gallade cursed, now open to a counter, and with much less defense than before. Bane smirked, and blasted him with a shadow pulse, knocking the fighting/psychic type back hard.
Rika was having fun dodging the sword swipes, until one sliced off some fur. That got her sparking, "My beautiful fur!" she let loose a thunder bolt, hitting the tip of the sword like a lightning rod, and making the human yell out in pain. "ouch...fucking...fat...rat." Rika's forhead vien started throbbing, and she unleashed a barrage of thunder bolts, making the soldier cry out with each strike. When Rika's assault finished, she was still sparking, "I'M...NOT...FAT!" The human just coughed up some smoke, dropping his lightning rod lest she attack again. "You...are a big...fat..." his sentence couldn't be finsihed, the gallade slammed into him, and both wound up in a unconsious heap. Rika huffed, "Serves you right for calling me fat." Bane said nothing as he joined her side, knowing it was a death sentence to say what was on his mind.
Inferno and Sky were going at Tikano with fury, and yet managed to keep themselves calm enough not to get to caught up and put themselves in danger. That ment Tikano had a difficult fight, since he was going against controlled rage. The monkey kept swinging, but all his axe and mace hit was ground and air, Inferno and Sky much to fast for him. But the two had limited terms of attack. Up close attacks put them in danger that he would finally hit them, but as a fire type, he was resistent to ice and fire. Inferno made due with shadow balls, but Sky only had razor wind, which Tikano blocked every time. She had to stick to waiting for his gaurd to drop, before coming in with slash. But the method seemed to be working, since he was taking attack after attack. "Damn you mongrels! I am Tikano! I will lead the Black Brigade!"
The infernapes weapons began to burn, as he pressed the attack on Inferno, swinging and slashing. "Die!" Inferno wasn't having any trouble dodging, the attacks were just voilent, and so where very predictable. But then one blow managed to go faster than Inferno perdicted, the mace getting a glancing blow on the houndoom, but was able to push him back, making him yelp in pain. Tikano pressed forward, "Time to finish this!" As he neared, he yelled out, Sky landing a slash on his arm with the axe, before using an ice beam to knock the infernape off course. Tikano growled, his left arm useless, "I'm going to kill you all!" Inferno glared, as did Sky. Inferno let loose a burning dark beam, Sky using Razor wind with the beam. Tikano couldn't block both attacks, despite his efforts, the mace shattered when it tried to block the attack, and both of the powerful attacks struck. When the dust from the two stikes died down, Tikano was barely standing, "no...how could this be...I was suppose to...win....I CAN'T LOSE!!!" he collapsed, dead.
Inferno, Sky, all of them were panting. Despite the fact they won, the battle had drained them all. But it didn't matter, they rushed for the cages, were the pups were cheering the victory of their family. Death opened the cage to let them out, and the parents happily nuzzled their pups. Everyone was smiling, then Death looked up, "Who the?" Everyone's attention went straight up, and they saw a lucario.
But he wasn't just a lucario. His left paw was gone, and in its place was a metal hand of sorts. With three claws instead of fingers, and another claw where a thumb would have been. At his side was a shethed katana. "So...this is what's been going on while I've been away huh? Pfft...what weaklings to just let 8 pokemon walts in here."
"Who are you?" Inferno shouted.
"I am Albel. Leader of the Black Brigade. A military division in the Brotherhood." he eyed them. "Bah...I can't believe that fool Tikano. A fool and a coward."
Inferno glared, "What do you want then? To take my pups."
"Tsk. Fool. Taking hostages isn't what I do."
Sky glared, "Then what do you call this!?" She pointed to the cage.
"These fools did this without my consent. I wasn't aware of what was going on here. This failure is theres and theres alone."
Death tilted his head, "But they're your men...you're responsible for them."
"Only when I'm around. As far as I care now...they're traitors. I won't be held to blame for this failure to kill or capture you...and I'm not going to clean up their mess. Get out of my fortress."
Rika blinked, "You're just letting us go."
"Easy wins have never been my style. And unlike that fool Nadox, I take no pleasure in trouncing weaklings." Inferno, Bane, Blaze, and Death all growled at him. "Now I suggest you take your leave before I change my mind. Perhaps we'll meet again in the future, where I'll most likely kill you. But don't flatter yourself into thinking I'm giving you hope for victory. I just mean I might take you prisoner is all."
Once again the males growled, but the mates managed to get them moving, and they grudgingly obeyed, taking their leave of the area. When they got outside they headed for the forest, to find a safe place to rest. The pups were happy to be with their family again.

Albel lept down, smirking, "Hmm...interesting...maybe things will get interesting. I just hope they'll be more fun than that human and latias. Tsk. Cowards. Fleeing from battle. How pathetic." he headed into the fortress.
*Everythings quite, short of a few moans and groans*
Xehta: *ahems* Sorry everyone...but...Pink came in during the story...and well...she kinda had something to show everyone. I was out of the room at the time...so I missed the effects of it. *shrugs* Oh well. He'd kill me afterwards anyway. But, yay! The pups are backs! And we've met Albel. I wonder what the group can expect from him. Who knows...no one in the immidiate room. But I'm sure we'll find out in the next exciting chapter.
Mecha: *in other room, howls out*
Xehta: The bastard! Kidnapping the pups. He's lucky I'm not there to meet him.
