Chapter 15 - Anything and Everything
The team were seated in Sunyshore City's pokemon centre, busy planning their activities for the day. Once Wolf had finished with Snowpoint, he had had Serenity teleport them directly to their next destination rather than deal with the perpetual blizzard again. The result was that Wolf had decided to immediately challenge the Sunyshore gym and earn that badge, leaving the team with a little over a month before the Sinnoh league commenced in earnest.
"Well, I can't say I feel like training in this beautiful weather." Wolf said, glancing out the window to emphasise his point. The sun was streaming through the windows, a calm breeze beckoning them to while away the day at the beach. Lucky smiled.
"Is that your way of saying you think we're strong enough at the moment?" Lucky replied, amusement lacing her comment. He smiled back.
"We have time to relax, and you all definitely deserve a break." He countered, putting one arm around her shoulders and holding her close. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his waist, content to merely enjoy the hug. Jazz perked up her ears, hearing the door slide open and two girls in swimsuits enter the centre with their pokemon. Jazz got up and followed them to the counter while they gave their pokemon to Nurse Joy, curious at the strange outfits they were wearing. One had a black two piece outfit on that covered only the important areas, while the other had a frilly pink suit with very little back to it. Once they were finished checking their pokemon in, they took notice of the confused Raichu.
"Ooh, aren't you a cutie?" one of them cooed, squatting in front of Jazz. She ran a hand over her head, scratching just behind her ear while Jazz continued to stare. Without warning Jazz reached forward and placed a paw on her breast, feeling the strange new suit. She gasped, almost falling over in her haste to get away from the pokemon.
"Hey! That's not for you!" she cried, getting everyone's attention. Seeing what Jazz had gotten herself into, Wolf rushed over to try and set things straight.
"I hope she didn't do anything too bad." Wolf said apologetically. The girl was still staring at Jazz, whose cheeks had gone from their usual yellow to a bright red in embarrassment. She was staring at the floor, wishing she could melt away like a Vaporeon.
"I suppose I'll get over it after a while." The girl offered, seeing how upset Jazz was. Wolf picked the Raichu up and placed her on the counter.
"Jazz?" he asked her gently. After a moment, she looked up at Wolf, remorse in her eyes.
"I wanted to know what they're wearing." She muttered, eyes lowering again. Wolf smiled softly, knowing that it might take a while to cheer her up. She turned to the girl. "I'm sorry I did that, I shoulda just asked..." she murmured. The girl may not have understood the words, but she did know that Jazz wanted to apologize.
"Aww, it's okay." She offered, picking her up and giving her a quick cuddle.
"They're swimsuits Jazz." Wolf explained. She turned in the girls' arms to look at Wolf, wanting to know more. "Something that people wear when they want to go swimming." Realisation dawned in her eyes.
"Can I have one?" she asked suddenly. Wolf smiled at her, happy to hear that she was going to be fine.
"If we can find a place that makes them in your size." He replied.

An hour later, the team had finally arrived at the beach. The girls had been nice enough to direct them to a pokemon clothing store that they knew stocked a vast array of swimsuits to suit almost any pokemon. Jazz had wandered through the store, spellbound by all the different types and colours they had on offer, finally settling on a dark green one piece that managed to enhance and show off her cleavage along with a pair of dark green rimmed blowfly style sunglasses. Wolf had smirked at her choice, which had been the reaction Jazz was looking for.
She wasn't the only one sporting new swimwear. Serenity had a light blue bikini on, complete with a matching sarong that perfectly complemented her white skin. Princess couldn't see the point of wearing clothes to go swimming, and so had picked out a red and white cheerleader outfit for herself. Similarly, Ninetales was worried about being uncomfortable in clothes. In the end, she had chosen a dark red beret for herself. Ivysaur had forgone any clothes, citing that "it would be cruel to deprive the ladies of such a good looking sight." Finally, Lucky had gone with a plain black bikini, something she knew Wolf would like.
It was a nice day at the beach as well. There weren't many other people or pokemon around, although the odd two or three would occasionally walk past where the group had set up. Wolf had bought a large beach towel and a dark blue beach umbrella in addition to his new white board shorts, a red floral pattern breaking up the plain white. He and Lucky were lounging on the towel, along with Ivysaur and Jazz, the former with one paw massaging the latter's back while she laid there, a smile etched onto her face. Princess had gone to explore the coastline, Wolf doubting that a hundred Rapidash couldn't have held her back. Ninetales and Serenity had wandered along the beach, the pair chatting away about whatever crossed their minds.
Lucky began to press the tips of her paws into Wolf's shoulders firmly, aiming to ease the tension from her boyfriend. He smiled gratefully at her, before turning his attention to Jazz and Ivysaur.
"You look like you're enjoying that." He remarked innocently, drawing stares from both of them. They glanced at each other, Jazz's open mouth combined with the sunglasses making her seem comical. Neither of them was entirely sure who he had directed the comment to. Finally, Ivysaur grinned back.
"You're one to talk." He retorted, one vine snaking out to gesture at Lucky, who couldn't keep an embarrassed smile off her face. Wolf rolled his eyes good naturedly, the motion interrupted when something started dripping water on him. He looked up to see Princess standing over him, her fur and clothes completely soaked. Without warning, she shook herself off over the group, spraying them with salt water. Ivysaur scrambled for cover while the rest tried to ward off the drops as best they could.
"Hey, you wanna watch where you shake that?" he complained, walking back over when he was sure Princess was done. "Salt water and plants don't really mix." Princess grinned apologetically at Ivysaur before turning to Wolf, the look she was giving him taken right from the night of his twenty first birthday.
"Wolf, I found this really secluded part just around the rock wall." She began, licking her lips at him. "I was hoping you'd come and... explore... it with me." He glanced over his shoulder at Lucky, who merely smiled back.
"You can go." She said, Wolf ignoring the snickering of Ivysaur and Jazz at his apparent deference to her. He leaned in to give her a parting hug before following Princess into the docile waves.
***
Lucky missed him. It was odd that she would, since Wolf didn't have to spend all his time with her and she was comfortable enough with that fact. This time was different though, as though some small part of her was deeply saddened by something she couldn't quite figure out.
She had excused herself from the group when Serenity and Ninetales had returned, hoping that she could get a short time to herself and figure out just why she missed him. Lucky had stumbled across a small patch of trees overlooking the beach, a small clear pool of water radiating a calm blue glow over the sheltered area. It was getting late, and the sun was beginning to fall under the horizon. Lucky smiled at the sight, wishing that Wolf was there to place a comforting arm around her shoulders and enjoy the sunset with her.
Peering out through the trees, she could see the last of the beach goers packing up their belongings and getting ready to head home. Her gaze fell on a man and woman who were trying to convince their child that they could come back another day. Eventually the child calmed down, and Lucky watched as the mother picked up her child and held her close. The father placed his free arm around them, guiding them along to the car park. Even with the soft blue lagoon behind her and the deep orange sun retreating over a calm sea, she thought that the family was the most beautiful thing in sight. A sad smile crossed her face a she realised just what it was she wanted from Wolf. It wasn't anything as base as his body, nor was it the love and devotion he gave her; she already had those. It was the one thing Wolf couldn't give her that she wanted, and tears welled up in her eyes as fate's cruelty became apparent to her. Bringing her knees to her chin, she merely sat on the ground sobbing. Wolf would give her anything, but he couldn't give her a child.
"Lucky?"
She looked up when her name was called, watching with tear filled eyes as Wolf walked along the beach, looking for her. When he saw her he approached with a smile, the look fading quickly as he saw that she had been crying. More than anything, he hated seeing her upset.
"Lucky, what's wrong?" he asked worriedly, kneeling next to her and putting one hand on her back. She could see the concern in his deep green eyes, but it didn't do anything to ease her pain.
"Oh Wolf!" she cried, flinging herself into his arms while her tears fell onto his shoulder. He held her close, running a comforting hand along her back even while she wept her eyes out. Eventually he drew her back, wanting to look her in the eyes. He brushed a stray tear away from her face, gazing into her vivid red eyes and silently repeating his question. She sniffed, trying to compose herself.
"Wolf..." she stammered, hiccoughing quietly as she tried to dry her tears long enough to tell him what was wrong. "I... I want..." He offered her a comforting smile, which gave her the strength to finish her sentence. "I want to be the mother of your child, Wolf." It was all she could manage before she broke down in his arms again, Wolf pulling her closer so that she couldn't see the silent tear running down his own cheek. He would do anything for her, but knowing that he could never give her what she truly wanted deeply saddened him.
"I just wish..." she whispered into his ear. "I wish you could turn into a Lucario." For a long moment neither of them moved or spoke, until Lucky felt Wolf shift in her grip. She drew back, astounded at the sight that greeted her.
"I wish I could, Lucky." He answered, even as Lucky continued to gawk at him. "I would do anything to make you happy, you know that." He looked up at her and took in her expression, a frown crossing his features. "Are you okay, Lucky?" Silently, she reached up and ran a paw down the side of his face, still not believing what she was seeing. Finally, she took Wolf's head between her paws and moved him so that he was staring into the reflective surface of the lagoon. He stared at the water for a moment, his jaw dropping as he took in his own reflection. Instead of his own face, the features of a Lucario stared back at him from the water, dark green eyes widened in astonishment. He looked down to take in the rest of his appearance, running his new paws over a dark brown furred chest. He was in every way a Lucario, the only non colour difference being his spikes. The chest spike typical of a male Lucario was absent, and the ones on the backs of his paws had been replaced by sets of three wickedly curved claws. He experimented with the claws for a few seconds, finding that he could retract and unsheathe them on command. Finally, he turned to Lucky.
"How?" he asked, feeling as dumbfounded as she looked. "Who did-"
"That would be me." Wolf and Lucky spun around to face the source of the voice, only to find a small white pokemon beaming at them. The creature seemed to be pleased at the scene, and its head had the appearance of a star.
"Who are you?" Lucky asked, still not completely over the shock of Wolf's transformation. The pokemon smiled mischievously.
"Me?" he replied. "I'm Jirachi. Nice to meet you." The lovers stared at the diminutive pokemon for a few more seconds before turning to look at each other, disbelief on their faces. How could that tiny, frail looking thing possibly have turned Wolf into a Lucario?
"I have the power to grant any wish I hear." Jirachi explained. "I usually grant stuff that I think people deserve, and seeing you two so sad made me want to help you." Lucky beamed, all traces of despair forgotten in the face of this new event.
"Thank you so much!" she cried, heart leaping. "How can we ever repay you?"
"Aww, you don't need to worry about that." He replied, a self satisfied smile appearing on his face. "He can change between forms whenever he wants to, so all you two need to do is concentrate on the task at hand." Before either of them could say anything, Jirachi disappeared as quickly as he'd come. They stared at the space he had been occupying for a moment before turning back to each other, sharing expressions of happiness. Without warning, Lucky threw herself into Wolf's arms again in ecstasy. He held her in a loving embrace, eyes closed and a happy smile on his face.
"He was right, you know." Wolf murmured into her ear after a moment. She drew back, eyes asking him for an explanation. "We should be focussing on the task at hand." She playfully shoved him, but he leaned back in before she could react to plant a lustful kiss on her lips. She gave herself to him willingly, her arms coming to rest around his neck while one of his paws snaked its way to rest on the back of her head, the other wrapped around her waist. They stayed like this until the need for air drew them apart, their eyes meeting again. Wolf used the momentary break to lay Lucky on the ground properly while he reached for the cord on her bikini top. After a few unsuccessful attempts to grab it in his new paw, Lucky reached one paw up and undid the knot herself. He grinned at her, embarrassed.
"It's okay." She said, running the same paw across his cheek. "I've just had more practice at it than you." His smile became more affectionate, running his paw under her back and managing to get the second knot undone on his own. The top was cast aside without delay and Wolf busied himself with the bottom, sliding the scrap of lycra down her legs and throwing it to join the top. Once she was fully naked, he removed his own boardshorts and threw them onto Lucky's discarded bikini. Lucky took in his new form, already hard from anticipation. He had taken on the shape of any other male pokemon, although his size hadn't changed much.
Neither of them spoke as he got into position over her, his paws placed on either side of her upper chest and his knees between her outstretched legs. He reached down to steady himself, rubbing his tip along the edges of her already wet slit.
"Y'know, this is the first time I've been on top." He remarked, smiling to help ease both of them. She let out a short laugh, bringing her arms up around his neck.
"Stop being a smart ass and kiss me." She replied, drawing him in with no resistance and bringing his lips to her own in their most passionate kiss ever. This time was more than simply satisfying their most base lusts for each other. This was a true expression of their love.
Wolf wasted no more time with witty banter, completely focussing on the task at hand. He brought his hips to hers, sliding his Lucario-hood into her welcoming body as far as he could, all the while not breaking their lips apart. They stayed like that for a few seconds, breaking apart only when they needed to breathe again. They gazed deep into each other's eyes, no words needed to express what they felt for each other.
Slowly at first, Wolf started to withdraw from her only to glide smoothly back in, a low hiss escaping from her as his length stroked her insides. Although they had made love many times before, Lucky couldn't help but feel that this was exactly how it was supposed to be between them. Every slow thrust, every passionate kiss, every time he leaned down to press his lips into her neck or nibble tenderly at her ear; Lucky felt that her heart hadn't steered her wrong all those months ago at Eterna City when she had first declared her love to him, nor when he was lying unconscious in hospital after taking a hyper beam to save her life. They were truly meant to be together.
Wolf had kept up his pace, ever trying to bring himself as close to her as their bodies would allow. The only thoughts going through his mind were telling him that Lucky needed to be satisfied, that she truly deserved to be happy above all others. He suited thoughts to actions by increasing his speed gradually, one paw moving to support her head as he kissed her again, his tongue coming out to rub along her own. She readily accepted the kiss, wrapping both her arms around his neck in a loving embrace.
All too soon Wolf could feel his climax approaching, hastened along by his position on top of her. He angled his hips as best he could so that the tip of his Lucario-hood brushed against the precise spot he knew gave her the most enjoyment. She gasped into his mouth, the peak of their lovemaking forcing their lips apart with the need for air. Finally, he could hold on no longer and cried out one final time, pressing his muzzle into her neck and his hips to hers as he released. Lucky felt the warming sensation of his seed fill her as he came, the final few strokes enough to bring her to her own climax, her body convulsing on him and taking in everything he had to offer.
Completely spent, Wolf made to roll off her. She forestalled the motion by wrapping her legs around his waist and keeping her arms locked around his neck. Instead of getting off her, the movement rolled them both over so that Wolf was underneath Lucky. He reached underneath himself, gently easing her legs out from underneath him as they recovered from their exertion.
"I love you so much Lucky." He whispered softly into her ear, nuzzling her cheek with his own. She drew back slowly, meeting his gaze with her own tender eyes.
"I love you too Wolf." She murmured back, kissing him once more. She finally released him, sliding off his softening member and pulling him up to sit next to her. Silently, she took one of his paws and placed the palm onto her lower abdomen. She smiled warmly, and he could see just how happy this had made her. "We're going to have a baby, Wolf." He smiled back, feeling just as happy as she was at this news. After all, it wasn't just going to be her child. It was his child as well.
Recovered enough, Wolf transformed back into himself while lowering Lucky onto the soft ground, her exhaustion too great to allow her to remain awake. Silently he dressed himself and his lover, then carried her back to the pokemon centre.
***
Lucky awoke later that evening in the pokemon centre, eyes fluttering as she realised where she was. The soft glow of the moon was filling the room, casting a mild blue light over the surroundings. Propping herself up on one elbow, the Lucario realised that Wolf wasn't sleeping beside her. The movement had caused her legs to bump into something under the covers, and she lifted the sheets to discover an egg nestled just behind her. Happiness welled up inside her at the sight, and she picked the egg up carefully and cradled it in her arms as though it had already hatched. Ecstatic, she set off to find Wolf along with her unborn child.
She found him in a small forest clearing out on Route 222, having little difficulty in following his scent, something she had known off by heart since only just a short while after they had met. The scent had changed somewhat near the end of the trail, and Lucky had realised that the scent was now mixed with that of a Lucario, something she could recognise without even trying. She watched Wolf, in his transformed state, seemingly training himself. Claws out, he took no more than a casual glance at a small branch no more than a few feet off the ground before swinging at it with both paws, the razor sharp blades extending from the back of his paws making short work of the branch. Several more branches were strewn around the clearing, all having been slashed by Wolf's claws.
"Wolf?" she asked tentatively, stepping out from behind the bushes with their egg. She could see in his aura that he was worried about something, something that had prompted him to come out into the forest and shred some of the foliage. He looked over at her, claws sliding back into his paws as he realised it was Lucky calling him. He turned back into himself, walking over to her and helping her to sit down. Lucky frowned at him, seeing the worry etched into his face.
"Wolf, is something wrong?" she asked. For a moment he didn't respond, staring at the bushes at the far end of the clearing. Finally, he sighed.
"Lucky," he began, trying to get his thoughts in order so that he could express them to her. She waited quietly, not wanting to distract him. "It's just that... I'm worried that I might not be a good father." He kept his gaze steady, although Lucky could see the beginnings of tears in his eyes. "What if something goes wrong? What if... what if the child is sick?" Lucky kept his gaze on him, placing one paw around his shoulders to comfort him.
"Wolf, you don't need to worry about anything." She responded, her voice firm but gentle. "You've raised all of us, and we're all strong and healthy. I'm sure you will be able to do the same for the young one." He looked back at her, her words making sense and helping him to overcome fears of his own inadequacy. Her face lost some of its warmth as she considered the second point. "There isn't a moment where I don't worry about the health of the child anymore. But if for some reason our young doesn't survive, we can always try again." He could hear the sincerity in her voice, dousing both of their fears like water being thrown over a fire. He smiled back at her, placing one arm around her shoulders and one hand on the egg. They shared the moment, happy that at least for that time there was nothing besides their own new family.
