A Rare Sight by wxyzz

Story Notes:

This is my first ever story posted on here, and although it took me forever to type this I think it'll all be worth it. Just like the Pokemon television series, my mind is full of ideas and I will not stop writing my story(stories) until my mind is nothing but an empty space.  Anyways, have fun reading my story as much as I did writing it.

Chapter 14-pt2

A Rare Sight

Rent-A-Friend Part 2

The smell of eggs flooded my nostrils; I slowly opened my eyes and sat up to find Taylor cooking breakfast over the fire.

“Morning,” I said to Taylor.

Taylor turned her head to me.

“Oh good you’re awake, just in time to, I just finished making scrambled eggs,” Taylor waved me over with her hand.

I stood up and walked over to the eggs; I took a huge whiff of it and sighed deeply.

“Man that smells excellent.”

“I hope so; it took me forever to find the fuckin’ things,” Taylor stirred the scrambled eggs and then placed a few spoonfuls onto a paper plate.

“Ughhh, worst…sleep…ever,” Chole slowly rose.

“Morning Chole, I made eggs if you wa…”

“No thank you!  I swear you’re already making my life a living hell sister,” Chole grumbled as she floated by us and began to munch on some berries.

“I-uh…”

“Don’t listen to her; these eggs are delicious by the way, thank you.”

“Thank you Garrett, I thought I should do something for you all for letting me come with you.”

“Don’t make it a habit, I may just have to keep you for myself and make you my personal chef,” I laughed.

Taylor chuckled.

Soon enough, everyone else woke up to the smell of eggs.  We all ate and talked, well besides Chole who refused to get involved with the “Apoc.”  After breakfast, we cleaned up, packed up our things and got ready to enter Meteor Falls.

“Alright, is everything packed up?”  I asked Chole.

“Yeah, lets get’a move on.”

“You ready Taylor?”

Taylor wiped the dirt off of her shirt.

“Yep, lets go.”

“Everyone else ready?”

“Lar!”

“Linoone!”

“Treeco Tree!”

“Vee Eevee Vee!”  Buddy jumped onto my shoulder.

“Lets go,” we all then made our way in the cave.

For the first ten minutes, the cave was flooded with light from the entrance so it was pretty easy getting around, although darkness replaced light soon enough, I was lucky enough to bring flashlights this time.

I took out a few flashlights out of my backpack, one for me, one for Taylor, and one for Chole.

“Chole if you would please,” I said.

Chole then glowed white and transformed into a Spinarak, she then aimed at the flashlights and spun web around our heads so that the flashlights could sit on our heads and we would have free hands.

“Thank you.”

“What bout’ me?” Chole transformed back into her normal form.

“You get to hold your own since you won’t make any contribution to the team besides eat the berries.”

“Bitch.”

Further and further we went into the cave, silence was all we heard besides the occasional water droplets hitting the ground.

“Oh my god this silence is driving me insane,” Chole said.

“Oh, I’m pretty sure I can think of something else that is driving me more insane.”

“Shut up you son of a…did you hear that?”

“Oh my god, she’s right, she IS insane,” I chuckled.

“I’M SERIOUS DAMMIT!  Seriously did anyone else hear that?”

“I think everyone heard that Chole,” I rubbed my ears.

“There it is again…don’t you hear that?”

“No one does Chole, you’re just crazy.”

“I’M NOT CRAZY!”

“Calm down crazy, lets sit down here and have lunch; we’ve been walking for awhile now.”

“Whew finally,” Taylor sunk and sat down on a rock.

I pulled the flashlight from my head and wiped off the web from my hair, Taylor copied my actions.

“Alright everyone, come and get lunch.”

I placed a bowl full of Pokemon food down for Linoone and Buddy and gave Ruby, Treeco, and Chole a handful of berries.

“What do we have?” Taylor asked.

“Unfortunately, the only to-go lunch we have are these,” I tossed her a couple of granola bars.

“Sorry,” I said as I munched on my granola bar.

“It’s alright, I like granola bars anyway,” Taylor began to eat her lunch as well.

After we had finished lunch, I packed up our stuff and we began to make our way deeper into the cave.

Everything was going fine until Chole was acting up again.

“Come on, let me have it.”

“No Chole.”

“PLEAASSEEEE, I promise I won’t sing again.”

“That’s what you said the last four times.”

“This time I will, you hear a peep outa’ m….THERE IT IS AGAIN!”  Chole twisted her head over to where she heard a sound.

“My god Chole, don’t start this shit aga….”

“No, wait Garrett, I heard it to,” Taylor said.

“See, see; even Apoc agrees, I’m not crazy.”

“Alright fine, where’s the sound coming from then?”

“I heard it over here,” Chole pointed to her left.

We walk a few steps to where Chole pointed, and now everyone else begins to hear the sound.

“Vee.”

“Yeah, I hear it now to Buddy.  It’s like a fast but quiet tapping sound.”

“See, I told you I’m not crazy.”

“Shut up and listen,” I said to Chole.

We walk closer to the sound, but when it seems we’re about to discover the sound, it comes from another direction.

“My god, it’s like the sound is everywhere now,” I said.

“I don’t know where to go, it’s EVERYWHERE.”

“Garrett…” Taylor tapped my shoulder then pointed in front of me.

“Dead end, come on let’s turn around and…”

“*YELP* Vee!!” Buddy was suddenly hit and knocked out before we even got a chance to turn around.

“Holy shit!  Buddy!!”  I run towards Buddy but was interrupted by Linoone being mysteriously knocked down and passing out.

“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!”  I yelled.

“Treeeee!!” Treeco was then hit and immediately passed out.

“Treeco!!!  No not you to!”  Tears began to run down my eyes.

“WHOEVER YOU BASTERDS ARE, SHOW YOURSELF!!”

Answering my demands, a figure began to form in the direction of the flashlight, another similar figure slowly followed behind the first.

“Is that a…” Taylor said.

“No, it can’t be, they’re back?!?!” I said.

“No…NO…NO!!!!!!” Chole covered her eyes.

Standing in front of us were the two Houndooms that attacked Chole near the beginning of my journey, the scars from our last battle proved they were the same Pokemon.

“Ruby!!  Rock Throw!”

Ruby jumped in front of me, picked up two giant rocks and threw it at the Houndooms.  The two Houndooms jumped out of the way and disappeared into the darkness, they immediately jumped back into the light and rammed Ruby into the ground with their horns, Ruby was knocked out.

“WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM *OOF*” I was head butted by one of the Houndooms before I could finish my sentence and went unconscious.

The Houndooms looked at me passed out and slowly turned their heads towards Chole.

“No, I won’t go with you!!  Tell your boss to fuck off!!!”

The Houndoom leader growled at Chole, apparently telling her that they’ll use force.

“You might as well kill me, I won’t serve them!”

The two Houndooms looked at each other then back at Chole, they both got into their battle positions and then dashed forward.

Closer and closer they got, Chole quickly covered herself with her arms to get ready for contact.

“STONE EDGE!!!”

Suddenly, a flurry of sharp rocks stabbed the charging Houndooms and sent them flying the opposite way.

Chole slowly looked up and saw the two Houndooms lying on the ground, bruised and bleeding.  The two stood back up and charged at their new target.

“FURY SWIPES!!!”

A fast moving image appeared all around the two, making cuts on their bodies so fast, it was as if the air turned sharp for a moment, both Houndooms fell back down, they weren’t knocked out though.

“That sounds like Apoc,” Chole thought, she then turned her head to the right to see Taylor standing next to her.

Chole then looked back at the Houndoom; standing next to them was a Sandslash.

“B-But how?  How did you…”

“Chole, not now!  Save your friends, we’ll take care of these two.”

As they were talking, the Houndooms had the chance to get back up and start charging at Taylor.

“ROCK THROW!!”

The Sandslash quickly disappeared and reappeared in front of Taylor, it grabbed both Houndooms and flung them onto a rock, knocking them out.

“Use Dig on the ceiling!”

The Sandslash jumped from rock to rock until it got to the top of the cave, it then began to dig and dig until it reached outside.

“Now throw them out of here!”

The Sandslash jumped down and landed right next to the Houndooms, it picked them both up from the horns and flung them into the hole and making them land outside.

“Now use Stone Edge!”

The Sandslash shot a flurry of rocks at the hole it made which started to make other rocks come loose, creating a cave in and filling up the hole.

“Good job Swipes,” Taylor walked over to the Sandslash and hugged it while it just stood where it was, making no movement.

“GARRETT, WAKE UP YOU BASTERD!!”  Chole was yelling in my ear.

Slowly, I regained consciousness and opened my eyes.

“Thank god, I thought I was going to have to use CPR.”

“Wha-What happe-ow…ow!!!...OW” I said every time I touched my head.

“You were out cold, that Houndoom got you good!”

“That’s right!  Where are they?!”

“Gone, you can thank Taylor, I’m going to help the others,” Chole floated away, giving me a view of Taylor and a Sandslash standing next to each other.

I slowly stood up, catching Taylor’s attention; she quickly ran over to me and hugged me.

“Thank god you’re alright.”

“This is nice Taylor, but your hug is making my head hurt more,” I chuckled.

“Sorry,” Taylor blushed.

I look over her shoulder to see a Sandslash standing still.

“Is that a Sandslash?”

“Yeah it is,” Taylor looked down.

“When did you catch it?  How long was I out?”

“I-I’ve always had him, I just never told you about him.”

“I thought you said you didn’t have a Pokemon with you, you said all of your Pokemon were at your grandmother’s,” I said, still confused about what’s going on.

“I know, it’s just that…I just didn’t want him to get involved in any battle…up until now at least.”

“Why not?”  Chole floated over to us with Ruby, Linoone, Treeco, and Buddy following her.

I turn my head to see everyone alright.

“Hey guys!  How are you all doing?!”  I knelt down and gave my team a big hug.

“They’re fine now, I healed them.”

“Thanks Chole.”

“Don’t thank me, I told you to thank her,” Chole pointed to Taylor.

“How did you get a Sandslash, it’s rare to find them here,” I said to Taylor.

“Well, not in Kanto.  Apocalypse captured him there and brought him over here, where I was assigned to him when I joined.”

Chole looked into the eyes of the Sandslash and her eyes began to expand.

“Swipes helped me escape; he was my best friend back at the school.  He made a path for me to leave and I decided to bring him with me.  I-I brought him with me because I thought I could find out a way to save him.”

“Save him?” I asked.

“Yes, Swipes is…he’s infected with…”

“Crystium,” Chole interrupted Taylor.

“Yes, Crystium.”

“What the hell is Crystium?” I asked.

“I had a feeling you wouldn’t know,” Chole said.

Taylor took over for Chole.

“Crystium is a manmade element; it was created by the world’s greatest scientists.  After they found out its horrible effects, they decided to throw it away.  It was to be transported to Johto so that it would be properly trashed; it was going good until a group of bandits intercepted the truck that held the Crystium and drove off with it.  Today, only two groups of people know about this element, I’m sure you know who they are.”

“Wow, a manmade element, what was so bad about it that the scientists had to trash it?”

Taylor walked over to Swipes and rubbed his head.

“Currently, Apocalypse holds 95% of the Crystium while Purification only holds a mere 5%, Purification wants this element for research.  Apocalypse on the other hand, has other plans for it; they like to call it Liquid Hypnosis.”

“Liquid Hypnosis?”

“It’s a brain washer dumbass!” Chole interjected.

“Crystium is fatal to humans if gotten into their body, but not to Pokemon; once injected into the blood stream, the Crystium works its way to the brain.  Once it reaches its destination, the Crystium invades the brain and covers the surface until looks like nothing but a blackened organ.  Surprisingly, it doesn’t kill a single brain cell and the brain is as healthy as it was before, all it does is that it clouds the mind and it forces the brain to command the body to perform any action spoken by their master, no matter what it is, it literally turns the Pokemon into a mindless husk, it’s just a body with no emotions or free will.”

“That’s horrible!” I looked over to Swipes and saw nothing but a blank stare in his eyes.

“That’s not the worse part, Apocalypse has done some research, it turns out whenever the Pokemon’s master yells out a command, the Crystium drains the energy from the Pokemon and converts it into a boost of strength and speed.  If enough orders are given out in a short amount of time, the Pokemon could die.”

“Jesus, no wonder it was to be destroyed.  How is he still alive?  It looks like he’s nothing but skin and bones,” I noticed the ribs and outlines of other bones around his body.

“It’s from the Crystium, his fat and muscles are being eaten away from its affects, he’s only surviving because I was always cautious when calling out commands.  I *sniff* I have to force feed him every night just so he can get some type of nutrition,” Taylor began to cry.

I walked over to her and gave her a hug.

“I hate it!!!  I hate that damn thing!!!  My friend is dying and I can’t do shit about it!!!”  Taylor cried into my shirt all the while Swipes looking directly straight ahead of him, not moving his head an inch.

“I’m so sorry Swipes, I’m s-so sorry,” Taylor quietly said while crying into my shirt.

I look to Chole to notice her beginning to tear up.

“Come on, lets get out of here,” I said to everyone.

We then made our way out of the cave; it took us two hours to reach the end of the cave.  I took a deep breath of fresh air as I stepped out of the cave, looking in the distance I noticed houses piled together.

“Hey Taylor, look,” I pointed to the direction of the houses.

“Finally, we made it,” Taylor said as she began to smile.

“Is that a smile?” I chuckled.

“Shut up, god you’re horrible,” Taylor slapped my shoulder and laughed as well.

“Come on, I’ll race ya.”

“No, I don’t feel like run…”

“Readysetgo!” I ran off.

“Oh it’s on!” Taylor ran to catch up with me.

We ran all the way to Fallarbor Town, Buddy ended up winning the race even though he wasn’t part of it.

“So *huff* where’s your grandmother’s *huff* house?”  I asked

“Right *huff* over there,” Taylor pointed to the third house down.

We walked to catch our breath, as we walked I noticed that the town was quiet.  It was dark out, but it wasn’t that dark to make activity come to a complete stop.

“Well, here we are.  Would you like to meet my grandmother?”  Taylor said as we stopped at her grandmother’s house.

“Sure, why not,” I walked up to her front porch.

Taylor then knocked on the door and flung the door open.

“Grandma I’m back!!!  Get the stove rea…”

The house was destroyed; paper, furniture, and other household items were scattered all over the floor like a bomb went off.

“Wow, it seems your grandmother doesn’t like to clean up,” Chole joked.

“Wha-What happened?  Everything’s destroyed!  Grandma! GRANDMA ARE YOU HERE!?”

“Treeco, Treeco Tree, Tree Tree Treeco!” Treeco called out to us from across the street and pointed to the window.

“He said that the other house is the same way,” Chole said.

“Lar, Larvitar, Lar Lar!”

“Ruby’s saying the same thing to the other houses.”

“What the hell happened here?” I said to myself.

Suddenly, the sound of furniture being moved filled the room.

“Buddy, get ready,” I whispered to him.

“Vee,” Buddy said back.

We slowly walked down the hall, over to the room where the noise was coming from; I then placed my hand on the doorknob.  I looked to Buddy and nodded for readiness, he copied my actions.  I quickly flung the door open to find a Jynx moving a dresser.

“What the…”

“JYNX!!! Jynx Jynx Jynx!”  The Jynx jumped and quickly brought up a Light Screen to cover herself.

“Who’s making all of that nois…DITE?!!?”  Taylor yelled and ran up to hug the Jynx.

“Jynx, Jynx Jynx!!” The Jynx hugged back.

“Dite?” I asked.

“This was my first Pokemon; I had to give her back to grandma before joining Apocalypse.”

“You don’t think her Pokemon did this do you?” Chole asked me.

“No I don’t think so, right?”

“No, she couldn’t have done this; Dite, where is everyone?  What happened here?”

“Jynx, Jynx Jynx Jynx, Jynx, Jynx Jynx.”

“She said she doesn’t know, she was sleeping and woke up to this mess,” Chole said.

“This is horrible!  Everyone is gone and no one knows what happ…”

“Larrr!”  Taylor was interrupted by Ruby, yelling from outside.

I quickly ran to the front to find Ruby pointing to her left, I turned my head to find a man limping towards us.

“Change into something, quickly Chole!”

Chole glowed white and turned into a Charmander.  I then ran off the front porch and ran up to the injured man

“Are you alright sir?” I placed his arm around my neck and brought him to the front porch

“Thank you; no I’m not unfortunately, I broke my ankle while running.”

“Do you know what happened here?  Everyone is gone and every house is ruined,” I asked while I fixed up his broken ankle.

“It happened a few hours ago, I was tending to my garden when I heard a little girl scream.  Being the coward I am, I ran around my house to the back and hauled ass.”

“Did you see why she was screaming?”

“Before I ran, I saw her being picked up by a group of people…they were wearing black, and…what was it?  Oh yeah, there was an A on the back of their jacket.”

“Jesus Christ!” I stood up and punched the house wall.

“No…no it can’t be!!!” Taylor fell to the ground, beginning to tear up.

“Your ankle should be fine now, just don’t put any pressure on it and use some ice regularly,” I softly said to the man.

“Thanks man, hey, I’m sorry that I wasn’t much of a help, I wish I could have done something else to help out.”

“It’s alright; just-just go back to your house.”

“THOSE BASTERDS!!! WHY, WHY DID THEY TAKE HER?”  Taylor yelled as she began to cry

“They must have known you would come here after you escaped,” Chole said.

I knelt down and brought Taylor to her feet, I then hugged her.

“I’m so sorry Taylor; I know what it’s like to lose family.”

“BUT SHE ISN’T DEAD!! THEY TOOK HER AND ARE PROBABLY KEEPING HER CAPTIVE!!” Taylor cried into my shirt.

“We’ll find her, I promise,” I softly say.

“I’LL KILL THEM, I’LL KILL THEM ALL!!”

“In good time Taylor, come on; let’s rest here for the night.”

“First Swipes and now my grandma!! WHAT ELSE WILL YOU DO?  HUH?  TELL ME!!” Taylor yelled out as tears flowed down her face.

“I’m so sorry,” I softly rubbed her back.

Chole changed back to her original form and wiped the tears from her eyes.

“Well it’s settled.”

“What’s settled?”  I asked Chole.

“Taylor will come with us and we’re going to kick some Apoc ASS!!”

“C-Come with you, I thought you didn’t like me *sniff*.”

“Nah, I was just testin’ ya, turns out you really are a changed person.”

“Thanks, but I don’t think so, I don’t want to be a burden.”

“Why not?  You have nothing else here except a ruined house and the cowardly lion.”

“Yeah Taylor, come with us.  Bring Dite with you and we’ll save your grandmother together,” I softly said to Taylor.

“Really?”  Taylor smiled with tears still coming down her eyes.

“I’m positive, please Taylor join us.”

“Alright, I will,” Taylor hugged me back.

“Excellent, now lets get inside I have a little present for your Sandslash,” Chole floated in the house and waved us in.

“Swipes?  What do you want *sniff* with him?”  Taylor asked as we walked in the house, Linoone closing the door.

“Just take him out, you’ll see soon enough.”

Taylor slowly reached into her pocket and took out a Pokeball, she placed it on the ground and Swipes was then released.

The Sandslash stood motionless, waiting for its orders.

“Hello there, yoohoo!  Anyone awake in there?” Chole waved her hand in front of the Sandslash’s face.

Taylor began to tear up again when she saw no reaction from Swipes.

“Chole!  Stop that!”

“Sorry.  Ahem, Garrett, get a jar with a lid if you would.”

“Why?”

“Just GET it.”

I looked in my backpack and took out a Tupperware bowl with a lid.

“Good enough,” Chole said, she then placed both of her hands on Swipe’s head and took a deep breath.

“What are you do…”

“Shut up Garrett!  I’m concentrating; this takes a lot of energy to do.”

Chole took a few more deep breaths; suddenly, her body glowed red, her whole body was encased in a red aura and soon enough, the aura began to build up around Swipes as well.  The aura grew and grew, soon enough it reached the ceiling and made a hole in the roof.  The aura continued to grow around them; I looked up to see the red aura almost reaching the clouds.

Suddenly, in a split second, the aura crashed down onto Chole and Swipes and exploded all around us.  I shielded my eyes with my arm to prevent any dust hitting my eyes.  When the explosion calmed down I moved my hand out of the way to see Swipes on the ground shaking with Chole standing over him with her hands on his head.

“Stop Chole!  You’re hurting hi…”

“No, let her do whatever she’s doing,” I softly say.

Chole’s hands began to glow blood red and she immediately directed the red aura from her hands to Swipe’s brain.

Suddenly, a black like liquid poured out of Swipe’s ears, and then his nostrils, and then the sides of his mouth.

“Is that…”

“The Crystium,” I said.

The Crystium floated over Chole as she extracted it from Swipes; it took her over twenty minutes to get it all, it finally ended with Swipes producing a single black tear from his eye which floated above Chole as well.

The Sandslash quickly gasped for air as if he was underwater, he looked around the room, not knowing where he was.

“Slash?”

“Bowl….please,” Chole softly said.

I quickly ran over to Chole and positioned the bowl over the Crystium.  Chole then went limp and the Crystium fell into the bowl when I covered it with a lid.  I placed the bowl on the ground and picked Chole up.

“She’s alright, just unconscious,” I said.

“Slash?” Swipes asked confusingly.

“S-Swipes?  Is it really you?”  Taylor slowly walked to the Sandslash with tears in her eyes.

“Slash?”  Swipes looked in the direction of the voice.

“Swipes!!” Taylor knelt down and began to hug Swipes, she was smiling as she cried.

“Sandslash?”  Swipes said, not knowing what was going on.

“Ughhhh, god my head hurts,” Chole said as she woke up from her sleep.

“Hey there sleepyhead, look,” I pointed to Swipes.

“Whew, thank god it worked.”

“Swipes,” Taylor softly said as she hugged Swipes.

“Slash? Sandslash?”

Taylor turned her head around and looked at Chole, she quickly ran up and hugged her as well.

“Oh god, you’re squeezing me, you’re *cough* you’re squeezing me!”

“Thank you so much Chole, you don’t realize how much this means to me.”

“You….can repay by *cough* letting go of meeeee!”

Taylor let go of Chole and brought her back to my arms.

“Taylor there’s something you must know.”

“What is it Chole?” Taylor walked over back to Swipes and began to hug him again.

“In order for the extraction to be complete, something had to be sacrificed.  The Crystium decided to invade the eyes before leaving the body, I’m sorry but Swipes is blind now.”

Taylor smiled.

“It’s alright, I have my Swipes for real this time,” she giggled as she hugged him tighter.

“Sandslash? Slash Sandslash.  Slash?”

“There’s…another thing.”

“What?”

“As I invaded his mind, I went through his memories; the last thing he remembers is being in a cage with a needle coming at him.  Taylor, he doesn’t know who you are.”

“What did I just say Chole?  I just said I didn’t care, he could hate me and I wouldn’t care.  You saved his life and I cannot thank you enough for that.”

“Well that’s good to know,” Chole closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I placed Chole down on a cushion lying on the ground and walked over to Swipes.

“Hey there, I’m Garrett, nice to meet you,” I grabbed his claw and shook it.

“Slash?”

“Swipes, I know you don’t know who I am, but I was your best friend at that bad place you were in.”

“Sandslash?”

“My name’s Taylor, you and me were partners, I took care of you and you protected me everywhere I went.  You helped me escape from there and I brought you with me.”

“Slash?”

“It’s alright; you don’t need to know about that place anyways.  I’m just glad you’re okay now,” Taylor began to cry again and hugged Swipes tighter

“Slash…”  Swipes said, not knowing what happened but slowly hugged Taylor back.

I stood back up and picked up Chole

“Come on Buddy, lets go to bed, leave these two to themselves.”

“Vee,” Buddy said with Ruby, Linoone, and Treeco following him.

The Next Day

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, I turned to my right to see Dite standing next to me.

“JESUS CHRIST!!” I jumped out of the bed.

“IWANTACOOKIEMOM!” Chole yelled as she woke from her sleep.

“Jynx!” Dite smiled and walked out of the room.

“Oh god, what time is it?” Chole asked, rubbing her head.

“11:30,” I looked at my watch.

“Too early,” Chole laid back down in the opposite direction.

“Get up, we got to get a move on,” I pulled the covers away from her.

“Ughhhhh, you dick.”

“You can complain on the road.”

So we began our usual morning routines except it was in a deserted home, it took us about two hours.

I stepped outside to find Taylor and Swipes talking when Taylor turned to look at me.

“Good morning,” I said, rubbing my eyes.

“Morning,” Taylor smiled.

“You seem quite happy,” I chuckled.

“How could I not be happy?  My friends are with me.”

“Does that include us as well?”

“Shouldn’t that be obvious?”  Taylor laughed and walked over to hug me.

Feeling her press up against me almost made me pass out again.

“You-*cough*you ready to get going?”

“Yup, and guess what?  Swipes agreed to stay with us.”

“Awesome.”

“So are we going now?”

“Later, I got to make a call first.”

“Take your time,” Taylor said as she went back to talking to Swipes.

I walked back into the house to find a telephone.  I plugged it back into the wall and dialed Jade’s number.

“Garrett.”

“Hey Jade, I got something interesting for you, I’m at Fallarbor Town.”

“…..I’ll be there soon.”

Chapter End Notes:Well I hope you liked my two part chapter.  Took me all day to finish the rest of it.  The whole time I wrote the ending, I listened to avenged sevenfold's recent album, best band ever lol.  I decided to permanently bring Taylor into the group because I believe it'll open up new ideas and suprises for future chapters.  Chapter 15 coming soon
