Chapter 6 The Threat of Sektor Sieben
Ash laid in bed, still recovering from being shot. Absol and Pikachu took turns guarding him as he recovered. Ash let out a sigh as he moved a bit in bed. He didn't like staying in bed for a long time. He wanted to go out and continue his journey. But he couldn't get out as Absol and Pikachu were also making sure he stayed in bed and would resort to force, if necessary. Brock and Dawn had been gathering supplies for when they had to get going and were a bit bored with being stuck in one place for so long.
Marina was still in shock from what happened. "Ash saved me from those guys... Maybe he does care about me." Marina said. "He would do that for any Pokémon." a voice said. Turning around, Marina saw Buizel standing there. "What do you want now?" Marina growled, getting a bit annoyed of Buizel. "I was here to remind you that Pokémon and humans can never be lovers. We have to stay with our own species." Buizel said. Marina was using all she could to not Iron Tail Buizel. "I don't care. If I love him, I am sure it doesn't matter." Marina said. "Of course it matters. There has been nowhere in history about humans and Pokémon being lovers." Buizel said. "That is not true." a deep voice said. Turning around, Marina and Buizel saw Absol standing there. "What're you doing here?" Buizel asked as he faced Absol. "Their have been Myths about Humans and Pokémon being treated as Equals. And if I am not mistaken, humans and Pokémon have been lovers." Absol said. "That could mean anything. I'm pretty sure you don't even know anything about myths or legends." Buizel said.
Absol walked forward and he looked down at Buizel in the eyes. "Are you calling me a liar?" Absol asked. Buizel nervously glanced at Absol. "I'm just saying how can you know about them?" Buizel said, a bit scared. "We Absol are told all things about myths and legends when we are young. We are all told about a legend that foretold events similar to those that is happening now and of a great disaster." Absol said. "What kind of disaster?" Marina asked. Absol looked at her and said "One of metal giants from the stars coming to wage their war here. And another about a great invasion." Absol said. "So I see." Marina said. Buizel turned and said to Absol "But what does this have to do about Pokémon and humans being lovers." Absol turned and said "You will just have to wait and see."
Ash just sat in bed bored out of his mind. He turned around and picked up the TV remote and turned the TV in the room on. After skipping through channels he stopped at one of the news. Nothing was on, really. But before he turned it off, the news reporter was replaced by a dark figure that appeared to be sitting at a table. "Don't try and adjust anything. We are broadcasting on all global wavelengths. We are Sektor Sieben. We are a group that will put an end to the Pokémon Filth." Ash was shocked as the broadcast went on.
In Team Rocket Headquarters. Giovanni and his mysterious contact were watching the broadcast. "We will not rest until the Earth has been cleared of the Pokémon. And we will kill any humans that help them." the broadcast said. "This could put a great big problem in our plans." the figure on the other screen said. "We will stop them for you." Giovanni said before they turned and watched more of what was unfolding.
Ash was still in shock as the broadcast went on. "We have an army of robots and agents ready to kill Pokémon and the humans that dare help them. All those that attempt to stop use will be destroyed." The figure on the broadcast said as the picture went back to a startled news reporter. Ash was just in utter disbelief. How could this group just declare the complete extermination of Pokémon? Ash turned and looked at the sleeping forms of Pikachu, Absol and Marina. 'Don't worry. I wont let anything happen to you.' he thought as he tried and get some sleep.
