Chapter 1
With the combination of the new moon and the clouds overhead, the rocks below Arken's claws were nearly invisible. The only faint light came from the radiant glow of the Magmar himself. Arken knew he would be an easy target for anyone following him. He might have been better off setting out at dawn, but his best chance at escape was when everyone was asleep, and Magmar are not nocturnal. It was too late for such thoughts anyway. The community of which he so dearly wished to rid himself was on the other side of nearly three mountains. Well, two mountains, and after he crossed this hill he-
Arken had enough time to realize he was in the air, but no more. Without a sound he hit the rocks that a moment ago had been three feet below him. He rolled and skidded off of boulders, sliding closer and closer to a sharp drop. The Magmar had regained enough of his senses after these few seconds that he was able to let out a lame cry, one high, misplaced note, before his body slid off the edge of the rocks and landed with a sickening crunch on the ground below. Arken tasted blood and acid in his mouth before he felt nothing at all.
Later in that morning, after the moon and stars were swept away and the clouds broke to let in the first rays of sunlight, cries for help could be heard throughout the hills. A group of Pokemon set out immediately, searching for a missing Magmar.
-there was blood on the rocky earth below him he had to time to spit more red out of his mouth his eyes dark-
The small community searched in vain. They were looking for a Magmar that was lost, not one that had fled. The sun was falling in the sky before a party was organized and set out with the purpose of searching the far sides of the mountains. In the twilight that followed, no one could see the flames that issued from the crevice on a rocky hill. When night had fallen and the faint glow was visible, no searchers remained within several miles.
-tasted bad in his mouth he realized he had vomited onto the rocky earth before him the air tight around him the dark all surrounding faint glow of stars in a sliver of sky-
The deep of night was his favorite time to fly. The cool that sped over his wings was offset by the heat of his body, and the pillar of warmth kept him in the air. The light at the end of his tail pierced the dark sky like a shooting star. In fact, he wondered if other Pokemon were looking up from the ground and thinking-
The Charizard stopped in midair, then tumbled in the sky as his momentum propelled him. He caught himself, flapping his wings like a little Spearow, now a few dozen feet lower in the sky. There was a light issuing from the hill about five miles away. The light was very small but rather blatant against the dark landscape. The Charizard lowered himself further, dropping to about 50 yards above the ground. He flew slowly now, wondering what could have started a fire. It had to be fire, and it had to be intentional and controlled- it wasn't spreading anywhere. The light was out of sight now that he had dropped in the air, but the Charizard knew this territory. He had never lived anywhere else.
The spot was too small to be a cave, his first assumption. What hid in a hole, then started a fire? It looked like something had crawled in, or fallen...
"Hello," Leira spoke in a dull voice, naturally unsure of himself. He hadn't spoken since midday, and then it had been to himself. Sometimes he went days without interacting with other Pokemon.
"Hello?" he tried again, more sincerely. There was no reply. So whatever was inside (if anything, he reminded himself) was in hiding. The fire- he was certain now- was only ten yards away now. Reaching the crevice, he peered inside.
It was a Magmar, and it was dead. It was not the first deceased Pokemon Leira had found, and probably wouldn't be the last, but it was still sad. This one didn't seem to be that old, maybe he was young and reckless, he had tripped in the dark and- did dead Magmars still burn?
Looking closer, the body was still bleeding very slowly. Stomach acid dripped from his (he had the seen the Magmar was male) mouth. And his chest still brought in just a little bit of air.
Leira started prying away at the rocks but he could not reach the Magmar. Thinking quickly, he turned, leapt, and flew full speed to the brook back in the forest. The few miles were traveled almost instantly. Landing, the Charizard took a huge gulp of water and held it in his mouth, then took off. When he landed again at the crevice (the Magmar had not moved), he put his snout in the narrow gap and, aiming carefully, spat the water as hard as he could at the Magmar's nose.
Arken flinched and groaned, then opened his eyes. He tried to scream but couldn't.
"Hey. Hey!," Leira spoke. "I need you to move closer to me so I can get you out!" Arken nodded and tried to reply, but coughed instead and spat out more vomitus. He crawled, not registering fully the sharp burning pain in his left leg.
As the Magmar drew closer, Leira summoned his strength and pried away a boulder, widening the gap some. He managed to reach an arm in and, pulling hard, pull the Magmar out. With the lava Pokémon on his back, the Charizard made sure he was secure and, looking around, took off.
High up in the air, Arken regained consciousness. He was being half supported, half cradled by the fire dragon. He managed to speak.
"Hey. What's your name?" Arken whispered. The Charizard looked down at him.
"Leira."
He spent the rest of the night passed out on the cave floor. Leira knew that the Magmar had lost some blood, but he was breathing regularly, and the Charizard didn't know what else to do after he cleaned the wounds (he was at first tentative with the thought of applying water to a Magmar, but the blood and dirt was washed off in a cloud of steam as the water sizzled away). Leira stepped out of the cave where he and the unnamed Magmar were currently residing.
The sun had risen now, reminding Leira of his weariness. He had drifted off into a doze several times during the night, only to be awaken by the Magmar's unconscious moans. Leira could hear the chatter and buzz of bird and bug Pokemon, and it would have been a beautiful morning, but Leira's mind was currently occupied with-
"Hello?" Leira heard the Magmar croak. He rushed back to the cave, actually fluttering a few feet off the ground subconsciously, and entered. Some sunlight was penetrating the cave from the east, and now Leira had a much better view of the lava Pokemon before him.
"Who are you?" the Magmar said groggily. He seemed exhausted more than anything else.
"I'm Leira. Remember? And you are?" The Magmar tried to speak, but coughed instead. He tried again.
"Arken."
"Pretty nasty fall you had back there, Arken," Leira said.
"I guess I've been out for a few hours," Arken replied, his eyes moving around the cave.
"Longer than that. You were unconscious for all of the night."
"What?" Arken asked, his eyes meeting Leira's. "It was almost dawn when I tripped."
"You did fall then. No, I found you soon after the moon had risen," Leira told him.
"Then you didn't find me until nightfall. I've been mostly out for a day now," Arken concluded. He winced in pain, looking at his right leg.
"What's wrong? What hurts?" Leira asked.
"This leg," Arken gasped. "I think I snapped it." He winced and groaned loudly. "I can't move it at all."
"I must have missed that in the dark," Leira muttered to himself, feeling a touch of shame. "What can I do?"
"Why?" The answer caught Leira completely off guard. He hesitated.
"I'm going to help you," he said, unsure.
"I know. I asked why," Arken repeated. Again, Leira didn't know what to say. He didn't understand why the Magmar was asking in the first place.
"Because I should. Because I'm going to." The Magmar seemed to accept that.
"Good. Then do me favor. Are there any mountains around here? Snow at the top?"
"Um. Yeah. There's one fairly nearby."
"Great," Arken smiled and winced again. "I need you to bring me a frozen rock."
The first order of business was to get Arken water. Leira flew out and found a fruit tree, taking the largest fruit, then rushed to the brook, the same one he had first found the water for the injured Magmar (albeit at a different spot). The Charizard halved the fruit and hollowed it out using his sharp claws, then shot flame into the brook, killing any harmful germs in the water. Leira took as much boiling water into the two halves as he could, then flew back to the cave, awkwardly due to the fact his hands were full. Any boiling water that splashed on him was shrugged off; it wasn't really uncomfortable to the fire type.
Upon entering the dingy cave he saw that Arken was half asleep and had been sick again on the rocky floor. Leira leaned in with the water and washed the Magmar's face carefully, and poured some water into his mouth. Arken nearly choked on it. Leira saw his breathing wasn't regular; Arken was going into shock due to blood loss.
"Damn," Leira growled. He punched Arken, then again, to wake him up. The injured Magmar groaned and continued hyperventilating.
"Here," Leira said forcefully, taking some berries from his cache in the cave. "Eat these now." Arken obeyed, not in a good enough state of mind to realize the sugar would help his body.
"Now drink," the Charizard commanded, tipping the fruit-turned-bowl of water into Arken's mouth. He managed to swallow some and coughed once. Leira kept at it until there was no water left. The next part he was unsure of, but he continued anyway.
Leira pressed his open mouth to Arken's. Inhaling through his nostrils, he blew a warm flame into Arken, heating up the water he had just drank. The boiling liquid would quickly enter his arteries, cleansing the Magmar's body of any harmful infections. Or so the Charizard hoped.
Arken had no idea what was happening at first. He next thought that Leira might be kissing him, and for a crazy second his half-heartedly returned it. But the heated water first made it to his head, and it felt like a rush of ecstasy. The hyperventilating stopped, and for the first time in the almost a day and a half since his fall Arken closed his eyes and relaxed.
"Are you okay?" Leira asked, alarmed.
"Yes," Arken breathed back, "but you need to get the rock for my leg."
"Right," Leira nodded. "You stay...well, I guess you're not going anywhere. Just stay awake, okay? Something that heavy is going to take some time to lug back."
"Go now," Arken told him. "The sooner the better."
"Right," Leira said again. Without another word, he clambered out of the cave and took flight, seeking the highest mountain in the region.
The damned thing was too heavy, Leira though for the tenth time. The boulder was as big as the Charizard dared to fly with, as well as awkward to carry and too cold for the fire Pokemon's liking. He had retrieved the thing from a mountainside where the morning frost was still frozen, and flying there and back (now with a large weight) was taking him the majority of the afternoon. Leira didn't stop, however; he knew that if he let the bone sit for too long, it might heal improperly.
Twilight was not too far off when Leira got back to the cave. He frowned upon entering.
"Have you moved?" he asked Arken.
"Just to eat. I didn't think you'd mind having a few less berries. You eat anything else, by the way?"
"I don't think you should be too concerned with food choices," Leira replied, his frown dissipating.
"I see you've found something," Arken said, stammering just slightly. Leira remembered that he must be in pain still.
"Yeah," the Charizard said, rolling the damned thing closer. "How do we do this?"
I guess... just bring it as close as you can to my leg. I can push myself against it."
"Alright," Leira replied, not showing his worry in this method. He grasped the boulder for half a second and half-dropped it next to Arken's broken leg.
"I'll try to add what I can, but most of the fire is going to have to come from you," Arken told him.
"Okay," Leira said, taking in a breath, "On three. One..."
"Two..." they said together.
"Three!" And at this moment, the cave filled with flames.
Leira was putting as much heat as he could into his Flamethrower, aimed directly at the frozen boulder. Arken also provided some flames in a decent Ember, which couldn't hurt. The frost that lingered on the rock vaporized instantly, and cracks started to form. Water had spread itself through the boulder and fragmented it as it froze. Now that a portion of the boulder itself was boiling hot water, it began to break down and dripped wet ash onto Arken's leg. Arken had passed along the information that Magmar normally heal by dipping their wounds in lava, which any member of the species could confirm. With the Charizard's powerful attack, the rock began to melt down, getting closer to a liquid state.
At this time Arken stopped his fiery breath and grasped his broken leg, pulling it closer to the melting rock. The boiling water was like liquid relief to his pain, and the lava that was being created was dissipating the dying blood clots that had formed around the wound. However, they needed to heal the bone itself.
"Leira, stop for a second," Arken panted. The Charizard complied. The boulder was now a misshapen lump. "I need you to get to the bone. That needs to be mended."
Leira nodded slowly and looked quite glum for a moment before reaching over and placing his claw along the warm, renewed surface of Arken's left leg. He placed a wing by Arken's face.
"Bite down if you need it," he said, then dragged his claw deep into Arken's flesh.
The wounded (again) Magmar clenched his eyes shut and bit Leira's wing, his teeth actually putting two tiny holes through the wing. Leira felt it but didn't register the pain. He could now see the fragmented bone. Blood dripping from his claw, he started breathing as much fire as possible onto the molten boulder.
The oxygen from the water inside the rock was creating the hottest flames Leira had ever produced. The boulder began dripping molten ash onto Arken's body. A thin stream of lava now dripped from the boulder onto the shattered bone in the Magmar's leg. Leira had to concentrate to keep breathing heavily when he saw the effect. The fragmented bits were mixed in with the lava and formed a soft bridge between the two broken ends. As more lava mixed with the wound, the bones seemed to tighten and the bridge solidified, creating a strong new bone.
As the tricky part was now over, Leira held together the edges of the gash he had inflicted and waited for the lava to close up the wound. What had been a gaping hole was now a deep slash, with a huge clot to stop any blood loss. Exhausted from exhaling so much fire, the Charizard let himself collapse next to the now-healed Magmar.
"Thank you, Leira," Arken said, taking the Charizard's arm and squeezing it firmly. "I owe you."
"Don't mention it," Leira replied. "Are you okay?"
"Of course," Arken laughed. "I feel better than I have in days. Weeks, maybe."
"Well, if that's true, then take care of yourself for a few hours. I need a nap," Leira said, closing his eyes.
"I'll stay here. A nap sounds nice."
A few minutes later, when Leira was clearly asleep, Arken turned his head and realized their arms were still entwined.
Leira awoke about an hour after he fell asleep. He had tried to roll in his sleep, only to find his right wing was extremely sore. Inspecting it, he found two puncture wounds near the bottom edge of the wing, and he remembered the events of the day.
It was just before dark now, and Leira, after making sure Arken was okay, flew out to the brook where he collected water. Here he stripped a branch off tree and began cutting off all the leaves and twigs. With his sharp claws, Leira sliced the wood in half and began to whittle.
Before long he was working by the light of his tail (which he subconsciously kept high above the bubbling stream). He now had two fairly small half-circles, like a link of a chain that had been broken. The ring looked like a fang that was thick in the middle and pointed in both directions. With a deep breath he forced the pointed end of one ring through the small hole in his right wing. After repeating the process, he checked to make sure his new accessories were secure, then headed back to the cave.
By the time Leira had returned, Arken had awakened. The Magmar was hauling large (though not as large as the frozen boulder) rocks into the cave with a limp in his left leg. Not bad, considering he had fragmented the bone a day and a half earlier.
"Hi, Leira," Arken said when the Charizard drew near. "Where were you?"
"The stream. I had to wash up a bit."
"Whoa! And what happened to your wing?!"
"You did," Leira grinned toothily, "when you punched two holes in it."
"Oh, no, I'm sorry, Leira!" But the fire dragon shook his head.
"I kind of like it," he replied, admiring the wooden rings.
"Well um... It looks pretty neat..." Arken managed. Leira laughed at his awkwardness.
"Not much for talking, huh?"
"What does that mean?" Arken asked defensively.
"Exactly what I said, silly. You sure you should be walking?" Arken's faced changed. He shrugged.
"It hurts when I step on it, like a really bad ache, but everything is healed, I think."
"Well, I'd feel better if you rested tonight and tomorrow," Leira said.
"And just what am I going to do on my back all day?" Arken asked huffily. Then both Pokémon realized what had just been said, and they laughed in unison, but didn't make eye contact.
"I could think of a few things," Leira smiled.
"Do you have any family around here? I take it you live alone," Arken said hastily.
"No and yes. I'm alone. But not anymore."
"What?"
"I'm not going to through you out in the cold!" Leira almost laughed. "I find you half-dead in the middle of nowhere. You've been here almost a day, total. I really don't think you're ready to go out on your own. Unless...do you have family around here?" Leira felt slightly dumb for not asking earlier. Surely someone was worried about the young Magmar. Was he that young, though? He seemed-
"There's no one around I know. Not for miles."
"Alright," Leira replied. "I'll save the question of where you were going for later." Arken's face burned at that (although it was always burning! Leira noted with an inward grin), the Charizard's words striking home.
"If you have no family, where'd you get your name?" Arken asked.
"I didn't spawn from nothingness. I had parents. They named me."
"I like you name."
"I always thought it was rather feminine," Leira replied nonchalantly, heading for his food stores. It was quickly approaching the time for a meal.
"Well. Um. I don't really think that's a problem," Arken said, sitting down gingerly.
And very suddenly he was lying down. Leira had tackled him to the ground!
"Oh really?" Leira said lustily, and with his tongue he licked the Magmar's face slowly. It burned each of them pleasantly.
"Wh-What? What are you doing?" Arken asked nervously. Leira got off of him and starting laughing hysterically.
"You're too funny, Arken!" Leira roared with laughter. This was the most fun he'd had in as long as he could remember. "You just so helpless, aren't you? You're way too awkward in conversation, and I'm sorry, but I think it's hilarious."
"Oh. I mean. Oh." Arken was starting to catch on to the Charizard's sense of humor. "Oh yeah, I'm so helpless. Won't you take care of me, my dear savior?"
"Aw, come on. Stop." But Leira was still laughing.
"No. You took care of me, and now I'll take care of you!" With that, Arken leapt onto Leira and pulled him to the ground. He traced his tongue across the Charizard's chest and gripped his sides tightly. Startled, Leira couldn't help but say his immediate thought.
"Damn that leg healed quick!" Both Pokemon started laughing again, and for a while they didn't stop. Arken started licking Leira on and off, and the Charizard giggled some and relaxed. After a while, however, it stopped being a joke, and truly just became two males being immensely promiscuous with each other.
"You can get off now, if you want," Leira said, breaking the silence. Arken hugged him tighter.
"I know."
"I guess I was right then," Leira laughed nervously.
"Oh, uh, I guess..."
"Well. Um. I don't really mind."
"Do you...?"
"Well."
"No, it's okay."
"Well I didn't mean to-"
"Really, it's my fault.
"No, I-"
"If you don't-"
"No! Really!"
"I think it's-"
"Did you?"
"Well..." Arken stuttered, mind efficiently boggled. "I guess we just..."
"Yeah, I guess so," Leira agreed.
"Okay."
Their lips met. They pressed themselves together hard, ignoring any discomfort and focusing solely on the other. Despite the awkward, noisy slobbering they were committing, they opened their mouths and their tongues touched for just a second. For both of them it felt like more than just a kiss, more like a realization that was too great for words, too long for time. As the initial shock wore off they attacked each other hungrily, wrapping their arms around the other and hugging tightly. The warmth that their bodies gave off rivaled a furnace, and as they gasped for breath smoke shot out of their mouths.
Words were not exchanged but both knew there was no turning back at this point. Neither wanted to anyway. Each Pokemon had a familiar feeling between his legs and only one thought on their minds. Lining themselves up, they pressed deeply onto one another and sighed deeply, almost in unison. They laughed together but started grinding against each other harder. Their breath was short, their only sounds moans. Pure pleasure swept through their bodies as they pumped against each other, the friction causing overwhelming gratification.
Arken's injury was long forgotten. He straddled Leira, pushing his length against the Charizard's and gasping in delight. Leira had his eyes closed in happiness. He hadn't hoped or even dreamed that anything this good would be happening right now, and yet-
Arken collapsed onto him for another kiss. It lasted nearly half a minute before they both had to break for air. Leira then gently pushed the lava type off of him, then changed the way he was laying, his snout now very close to Arken's
The Magmar now knew what was about to happen, and was quite terrified, although underneath that he was bursting with anticipation. As Leira started to go to work with his long tongue, Arken shivered and then looked at the task ahead of him. The Charizard was a lot bigger than him, in more ways than one. It wasn't doing any good being scared however, and pretty soon he'd have to do something or-
Just then Leira took in all of Arken and the lava type actually yelped. Leira almost grinned but it would have involved too many teeth and that certainly would not assist his current task, which he continued after just a second's delay. Arken started licking at Leira, not doing much at first but certainly being sincere. The fire dragon found it adorable, but also quite pleasurable. It wasn't long before Leira "encouraged" Arken to do more, and the Magmar tentatively opened his mouth.
Now it was getting good for both parties. Leira kept a low flame burning in the back of his mouth, teasing Arken, who quickly caught on and responded with the same trick. The entire cave was an inferno now. Any second now someone's endurance would run out...
Though he had expected it, he didn't welcome the thought of "losing" first, but Arken's mind was numbed by the incredible rush of passion as he began to feel Leira drain him of his essence. Leira smiled inwardly and welcomed the gift, swallowing everything when then young Magmar was all done. He now relaxed and waited for the treatment to continue.
The pressure was on for Arken, but he needn't have worried. As he worked his mouth down to take in all of Leira's rather impressive length, the Charizard lost control as well and groaned happily. Now, here was something Arken should have been ready for, but was not. He was taking his mouth away when it happened, and he was lucky enough to open his mouth, lest he be blinded.
Leira opened his eyes with a smile on his face, but the smile changed to a roaring laugh as he saw Arken. He was sitting, eyes wide, face covered and mouth full of Leira's physical love. The Charizard came over to help the poor guy, licking off his own seed with no second though. He kissed Arken, and both tongues swirled around the mess inside until they broke apart and both swallowed, quite satisfied.
They stared at each other for a few seconds before they erupted into furious giggles at the kiss they had just shared. It had been hugely inappropriate, wildly erotic, and pretty hilarious, too.
"Come on," Leira said. "I bet your still hungry for dinner,"
Arken nodded, but his mind was soon rushing over the events that had just taken place. Had that all really just happened?Chapter End Notes:All characters belong to Nintendo, not me.
