Story Notes:
A story done based off the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 (Explorers of Time/Darkness) games, featuring a rather obvious pairing from the storyline. Got this started, but it took me forever to finish it, and luckily got it done just in time for Valentine's Day. It's kinda short and I think my rustiness shows. Also there's a SPOILER WARNING for anyone who is playing the games or intends to.

AUTHOR'S NOTES: HOLY SHIT IT HAS BEEN WAY OVER LIKE A YEAR SINCE I WROTE ANYTHING I AM SORRY also I just felt the need to at least TRY writing again, and I figured this was the perfect pairing. There is precious little art of the pairing, and I dunno if there's any fictions, but if not, there is NOW! Oh god it's totally gonna suck I'm so rusty ;____; also Valentine's Day romance and shit?
INEVITABLE DISCLAIMER: Some hot-ass STRAIGHT sex in this fic! Also Pokemon. Also MURRRR. Oh here is a SPOILER WARNING since this basically gives away part of the plot climax & ending in Mystery Dungeon 2, so if you're playing either one, you might want to go ahead and beat it first. :x
The resonating echo of the floating rip in time and space blasts throughout the barren, gray cell and the nearby hallways. A small group of Sableye stand outside the bars, looking in at the hole, wondering what, if anything, will come through it. They fear the retribution from their master, after running away in defeat, leaving him alone with the enemy team they chased into the past. The ones who defeated them. The shiny-eyed critters shake and glance at each other, fearful and impatient, before finally the hole begins to shake and shine brightly. With a loud thud upon the gray stone lands the master, Dusknoir, though his grunt of pain is joined with another's. The Sableye look on in disbelief as the enemy, Grovyle, rises slowly, straddling the large ghost with a hand to his neck. His rage-filled eyes rise to look at the watching critters, who immediately squeal and run quickly away as the dimensional hole disappears.
Grovyle slowly tries standing, as a dark roar sounds out and a ghostly arm come flying for his head. The gecko flicks his head to the side and somersaults forward off the ghost. He fights his pain and rises to his feet, turning around to see the ghost slowly turning and attempting to stretch his arms forward again. The Grovyle crosses his arms and slaps the ghostly appendages away, as his long head leaf glows with energy. The Dusknoir opens the large maw on his stomach to attempt a move, as Grovyle leaps forward with a feral yell, spinning and striking the large ghost with an explosive Leaf Blade attack via his head leaf. The ghost flies backward hard into the corner of the cell, slumping down and groaning in defeat.
Grovyle stumbles backward and grasps one of the cell bars, panting hard and staring at his mortal enemy. Dusknoir doesn't even bother looking up at him. The Grovyle stares for a few moments more, before catching his bearings and standing straight, turning to the open cell door and beginning to walk away. "They'll never succeed," comes the grumbling voice behind him.
The grass-type looks back over his shoulder, meeting eyes with the fallen ghost. They stare in silence for a moment before the gecko looks forward again. "Sleep, Dusknoir. Your fight is over." He states quietly.
Grovyle takes a few steps out of the cell. Dusknoir fidgets a little, his body numb with pain, his voice like steel grinding on the stone floor. "Even now, in the past, Dialga roars in primal anger atop his falling tower. They have no hope of defeating him. Not even if they still had you."
The gecko turns and looks to his enemy one last time, before slamming the cell door, the lock on it immediately latching. "Silence." He states as the loud echo from the door quiets down.
"What are you going to do, hmm? If they succeed, this world is gone. You will cease to exist like the rest of us."
Grovyle turns his head away and closes his eyes. "I wish for nothing else." He opens them again and stares down the hall. "Goodbye. Forever."
He painfully walks down the hallway, as the ghost's pained but dastardly laughs begin, and grow ever louder. "Fool! They will not succeed! I will recover and hunt you down once more!" He bellows to his enemy as he watches him leave.
The laughs of the Dusknoir continue to echo through the halls as Grovyle walks farther and farther away. The Sableye that still litter the area run in fear as they see him, despite his obviously injured state. The Grovyle pays them no mind. No more fighting, no more time-travel. The job is in his friend's hands now. I know you can do it, my dear friend... He thinks to himself.
He collapses against a time-frozen rock wall as he gets away from Dusknoir's stronghold, a hand rising to his face as tears stream down it. He wished he could have been there with his partner at the end of it, but instead they had to settle for one last goodbye. He lets the emotion overwhelm him now, but only for a few moments. He has no time to waste. He has only one place to go now: Dusk Forest. His one last friend in this world is there, and he's not even sure if she's okay. She sent them back to the past as Dusknoir and the Sableyes came down on them. He must see her again before the world ends. I'm coming, Celebi...
The Grovyle's journey comes to a close as he stumbles upon the grassy ground of Dusk Forest, panting hard, his energy almost depleted. He ran as fast as he could muster in his injured state, through the caves and past any primal-minded Pokemon, his body pulsing with even more pain than before. He lays down upon the grass of the calm forest for a few moments to catch his breath. There will be no threats to harm him here; at least he hopes that's still the case. He slowly and painfully rises to his feet, looking up to the time-frozen trees. "C-Celebi?" He utters quietly.
He begins walking into the forest, looking around him at the lifeless gray vegetation, looking for any sign of his friend's presence. "Celebi, where are you?"
It doesn't matter how loud he is; she can hear him. But she's not answering. He walks deeper and deeper into the forest, until he comes to the grove where they last saw each other, near the Passage of Time. This is where Dusknoir struck once more and Celebi sent the team back again. He looks around the grove and listens. Stillness, and silence. Did Dusknoir get her? Is she dead and gone? The gecko slumps to his knees, sniffing as the tears come back. "Celebi..." He mumbles under his breath.
He broods quietly for just a moment, before a soft giggle is heard behind him. He widens his eyes and half-turns, seeing the pink legendary floating behind him. "I don't recall ever seeing you cry, Grovyle." She says, her smile bright as ever.
"Celebi!" He yells, as he turns around quickly, and then falls over, grunting in pain.
Celebi's smile immediately fades as she notices how injured the gecko is. "O-Oh dear! Grovy, what happened to you?"
She doesn't give him time to answer as she looks him over once before zipping away. Grovyle just grunts and lays his head back on the grass, feeling woozy, his vision blurring. He was afraid of this; all of his energy is gone. He's going to spend his last moments with Celebi unconscious. He tries as best he can to keep awake as his muscles gradually weaken. Before he can completely drift out, however, a cold water comes pouring down his muzzle as Celebi floats above him with the small cup. The Grovyle swallows the pleasant liquid, feeling all the pain and injury flow from his body within mere instants. He starts to sit up as the smile reappears on Celebi's face. Grovyle looks at her with slight disbelief, but smiles. "Life Spring water? I thought we ran out."
"No... I kept more saved in case we failed." She says, her bright smile fully shining again.
Grovyle can't help but extend his own smile as the two friends embrace tightly, quiet in each other's arms for a few moments. Celebi moves out of his hug and looks at him. "Wait... We didn't fail, did we?"
"Mmm... Not yet. I don't think we will either." Grovyle states, as he sits up fully.
Grovyle proceeds to tell her the story of what happened, from when they were last together in the forest, up until taking Dusknoir through the dimensional hole. Celebi floats there quietly and listens until the end of the tale. She looks downward in thought, before back up at him. "Do you really think they can do it alone?" She asks.
"I don't think so, I know so. This world will end, and a new one will come in time. The way it should have been." He smiles at her.
She nods a little as sparkles of light fall from her smiling form. "And that means... we're gone too, Grovyle."
"Well we were prepared for that, and excepting it as for the best."
"Yeah, I know, but, it's still sad. I'll never get to see you again..."
Tears begin to well up in the Celebi's eyes and roll down her cheeks. Grovyle looks at her, a forlorn expression crossing his face as he brings a paw to brush it across one of her cheeks. "You know I don't like to see you cry."
Celebi just sniffles once and embraces herself on his chest again, quietly crying against his smooth skin. "I know... I'm just going to miss you, my dear Grovyle..."
Grovyle puts his arms around her softly and lets her cry. "Don't be too sad. Maybe we'll see each other again. A new life, in a better world." He tells her, trying to lift her spirits.
She smiles gently and nods her face against his chest, trying her best to stop her tears. The gecko just holds her close, stroking his hand across her soft head, staying quiet as the Celebi centers her emotions. After a few minutes of silence, Celebi speaks up. "So you came back here for me?"
"I wasn't sure what had happened to you after Dusknoir's attack. I figured he might have killed you as you sent us back to the past."
"I'm sure he wanted to, but I hid very well. He didn't search for me for long."
Grovyle nods a little. "Just as I'd hoped." He smiles sincerely, "I also couldn't think of any better place I'd rather spend these last moments."
Celebi smiles brightly and wiggles against him, her tears completely gone now, though after a moment of thought, her cheeks begin to darken in their pink color against his chest. She fidgets in his arms. "Well... While we still have time, there's one thing I've been meaning to tell you..."
She pulls himself out of his loose hold and floats upward as he looks at her curiously. She stares into his eyes for a moment, her blush very apparent as she presses forward, closing her eyes and tentatively kisses him. Grovyle freezes and blinks in surprise, his own cheeks reddening. His surprise melts away however, and he appeases her by returning her kiss. The Celebi seems to almost radiate as she gets the positive response, holding her hands to his face and kissing him firm and eagerly. The gecko closes his eyes, picking up how wanting his fairy friend is for this. And she's been hiding it from him for this long? After what seems like minutes, the Celebi finally stops kissing, the two opening their eyes and staring again. "I love you, my dear Grovyle..." She states.
The gecko blushes again. "Celebi..."
She smiles to him and rubs her cheek against his nose. "Ever since the moment I met you."
He presses to her cheek, silent for the moment. If only she had mentioned this sooner, back before the time travel plan. But, perhaps it was best he didn't know. She snaps him back to attention with another kiss, shivering slightly as she floats in front of him. "I need you, Grovyle... Just once, before we disappear..."
He can tell she's excited herself by kissing him and admitting her feelings to him. He smiles warmly to her, rubbing the end of his nose underneath her chin. "Of course, Celebi." He speaks, in a soft tone.
She practically radiates with happiness as she flutters downward before shoving herself against his chest, making him cough and fall backward onto the grass once more. The Grovyle sits up on his elbows, his face glowing as the love-crazed fairy flutters, her tongue sliding all across his smooth body. The gecko tries not to squirm. "C-Celebi, calm down..." He stammers, having not expected this level of eagerness.
The pink fairy stops suddenly near his stomach, looking up at his face and blushing mightily. "S-Sorry... I just don't know how much time we have left."
Grovyle tucks his chin slightly. That's true, he knows. There's many things he'd love to do to her now in her time of need, but with his friend working to complete the mission back in the past, he figures they can only share one moment. "Yes, I know, but... Not so crazily, okay?" He chuckles softly.
She can only smile sweetly at him, taking a deep breath to relax herself, before her head goes right between his legs. Grovyle gasps, opening his legs a little and shivering against the grass as the fairy's tongue has its way, his eyes not leaving the Celebi. He can't recall the last time anything like this happened to him, his body reacting in kind by arousing rather quickly for the eager fairy. Celebi's body lays across the gecko's member, sliding her lightly-fuzzy form against it, licking his tip and looking up at him with lusty, if somewhat embarrassed eyes. Their gazes meet, Grovyle's throat rumbling in noise of pleasure as he sees the lusty-eyed fairy polishing him with her tongue. "C-Celebi..." He whispers, nearly inaudible.
He grasps the grass with his fingers, trying to resist the urge to move his lower body, just wanting to watch her savor the moment. As if sensing his desires, the Celebi smiles at him, sliding herself upward just a ways more, a distinct wetness pressing to the very base of his warm appendage. Grovyle can simply not resist now, letting out a moan and firmly jerking his hips up against her. The Celebi moans in kind, pressing herself against it hard, a heavy pant forming on her breath, the sure sign of her level of arousal. She practically scrambles up his belly, the gecko slipping out of his slight stun spell when he realizes she moved. "N-Need you..." She stammers.
Before he can react, she jams her body down across his member in two eager shoves, crying out loudly in lust and slight pain, her inner muscles clamping down on him when she completely hilts. The Grovyle's own hefty groan sounds out as his fingers tear the ground, his hips jerking upward again in reflex. He's a little surprised she can take all of him, but such feelings are quickly lost in the swirls of pleasure clouding his mind. The fairy whines in desire, placing her hands on his belly and jerking her hips across the few bottom inches of his length, up and down, the appendage & the gecko's skin sopping wet from her arousal. She savors every last inch of him inside of her, making soft cries and whines nearly every time she forces herself back to the base.
Grovyle tucks his chin against his neck and breathes hard against his chest, trying to catch his bearings as he feels the beyond-tight fairy pump herself against him. He manages to loosen up after a moment, raising his nose and opening his eyes, watching his grass love ride him, her face glowing in blush, tears of happiness on her cheeks as her voice practically whimpers. A loving smile crosses his panting muzzle, bringing one of his hands up and brushing it across her soft form, up across her chin. Celebi looks at him, breathing much harder than he, pressing her cheek against his hand as her body squeezes him hard randomly, getting a groan from the both of them. He brushes his hand down one of her arms in order to grasp one of her hands.
Celebi squeezes his hand as firmly as she can manage, not noticing that her short riding motions are getting quite erratic. Her head leans backward slightly, letting out gasps into the air before surprising her partner with an early climax. She forces herself to the hilt and vicegrips his member, squeaking audibly, her body quaking. The Grovyle clenches his jaws and groans loud, but muffled, his body nearly climaxing with her, but managing to hold itself back. The Celebi snaps out of it after a moment, nearly collapsing forward, the gecko's lower body somewhat soaked. Her whole head practically turns red. "I...! I'm s-sorry..." She gasps out through a hard panting.
"It's okay... You were, mmf, pretty worked up."
She smiles over at him, before attempting to raise herself straight up again and start riding him anew. Grovyle, however, realizes how weakened her body is. He instead grasps her in both his hands, rolling the two of them over. Celebi ends up on her back in the grass, her eyes widening as the gecko places his hands on the ground and starts pumping his hips at her himself. She squeals a little, her small legs spreading and raising up against his body. "G-Grovyle!!" She gasps out.
He grasps the ground hard as he takes his lovely fairy, half of his member leaving her with each of his thrusts, which he attempts to be gentle with despite his intense arousal. The appendage is twitching and leaking heavily in anticipation after receiving one climax from the celestial female. He leans his head upward some and closes his eyes, taking in every ounce of pleasure he's getting, listening to the pleasant and constant noises of bliss from the fairy. The Celebi lets out a stream of noises, mostly gasps and whines, not even bothering to quiet herself as her body is taken by him. Her hands grasp futilely at his smooth skin as she presses her cheek to the grass, her inner muscles flexing erratically against him, her body spasming from being lost in pleasure. "a-aah, Grovyle I love you!!" She manages to stammer out, her body shaking hard.
Grovyle lets out a hard groan as he hears it, grasping the grass harder as his thrusts kick up a notch, but only slightly, his body really starting to lose it. "Ooh I love you, Celebi..!"
Celebi cries out in pure bliss hearing him speak to her, her body quaking again as her arousal rapidly approaches peak again, this time with the gecko ready to go with her. The fairy releases a few hard gasps at every inward thrust for another moment, before crying out in orgasmic bliss once more, vicegripping him again. The Grovyle's body can't hold back this time, the gecko groaning hard, sliding to the hilt and releasing his gift to her. The two of them freeze up and almost stop breathing as they climax together, the fairy's back arched, feeling his heavy gift fill her with warmth, the warmth eventually flowing out of her and onto the grass.
Their climaxes gradually ebb off, the two grass-types reduced to heavy breathing, the Celebi's body flopping back onto the grass, wasted. The Grovyle manages to stay lingering above her, not wanting to move, despite his arms steadily and quickly losing their strength. After a moment, he feels her slide off of his length, fluttering right up underneath his chest, their gazes meeting. "Grovyle..." She whispers.
He smiles brightly, letting his arms go out, gently falling atop her and curling them around her body, their muzzles meeting again as passionately as they can muster in their weakened states. She holds his face in her hands, not wanting to stop their embrace for the world, even though they must after a moment to continue catching their breath. She tucks her nose up underneath his chin, rubbing it there as tears flow from the eyes of both. Not tears of sadness, but those of pure joy. The lovers hold each other tightly, enjoying the final moments of their life in a quiet state of elation, with no intention of letting go of each other.
"Just once, before we disappear..."
