Chapter One - Genesis

The elevator hummed as it went down the floors. Basement, Sub Basement, Sub 2. It then passed Sub 2, despite there being no floor listed after. A man in a sharp red suit stood there, with a man in a labcoat. The doors opened, to a lab, filled with men and women at microscopes. "Why wasn't I informed of this before?" the man in the suit asked. "Well, sir, we weren't sure if this program would work, so we decided to keep it quiet." the man in the labcoat replied. The rooms all had solid steel doors, and a plate glass window. Dr. Ishii led Giovanni to one of the windows. Giovanni looked in. "My god, what did you do?" Giovanni said. He was looking upon a creature that looked like a hybrid of a Vulpix and a human being. "Isn't she beautiful? This is what our project has been. Creating a true hybrid of human and pokemon, a link between the two. We found they have a multitude of uses." Dr. Ishii said. "This particular specimen is known as experiment 16, one our first truly successful crossbreeds." he continued. "How did you do this?" Giovanni asked. "We took some human and pokemon DNA, and spliced key components. We then placed the spliced DNA inside an egg with the nucleus removed.
