Chapter 6
After the events of last night, which was still running through my head, Lucy and I had headed back to our room to catch some much needed sleep. I awoke the next morning with Lucy still cuddled up next to me, the scene would have been perfect if my head hadn't been spinning. Looks like I did drink a bit too much. As I stirred so did Lucy, "Morning Dante, I hope I didn't wear you out too much." I sat up and rubbed my face, I had a little too much stubble for my taste. I would shave at the apartment. I looked to Lucy, "Not at all, last night was fantastic!" I looked around, my only clothes where my leavers suit. I didn't really want to wear it again today though since it reeked of Lucario love. I had no choice though. I looked down toward Lucy, she stared back at me with those blood red eyes. I couldn't help but kiss her once more. After she looked up at me and said, "I can't believe I went from a harebrained scheme too getting the man of my dreams!" "'Man'? I haven't even turned eight-teen yet!" I said holding her close in my arms. "Yeah, but you could pass for it, plus your very mature for your age." Its true, I was. After a few more minutes of cuddling and kissing I decided it was time to get up.
After pulling on my clothes and Lucy had done the same we headed off to the Shuttle Port. We soon arrived, the Shuttle Port was a very large building full of gears and steam, its job; to launch you and others balls first at one hundred miles per hour toward your destination. Saywa is a relatively large place, just slightly bigger then Shinno, but thanks to the Shuttle Ports getting anywhere was possible in a mater of minutes. Waiting for us where Sharon, Diana, Wez, Jack, and Hikari. I looked at them all, I was so glad that they where there to say good bye. Sharon bowed toward me smiling tearfully, Diana swept me up into a big hug, Wez slapped me on the back and groggily said that I should "come back some time", Jack shook my hand and said that he and Hikari "would visit as soon as possible", and Hikari showing a unusual show of affection hugged me.
It was all over too soon and we were strapping ourselves into the shuttle. The shuttles where about the size of a two seat mini. The way they work is once the coarse is set you better hold on for dear life, it launches at top speed using a spring system, then goes the rest of the way using gyroscopes and a single rail. After myself and Lucy had said our goodbyes we got into the shuttle. The screen popped up and the computer voice said, "setting course for Central City, confirm" I pressed the yes button. There was a loud grinding noise I sat back, this was always fun. Lucy was sitting right next to me ready to go. The grinding stopped, there was a 'click', and then with the sound of canon we where shot of to our destination.
Thirty minutes later Lucy and I stumbled out grapping onto one another for support. "Next time," gasped Lucy, "We take the bus!"
Lucy and I started the search for our new apartment right after we found our feet. The apartment was located in the central metropolis, in a fairly nice apartment block. We checked the info slip that Sharon had given me, Lucy and I where to be in the loft. Sounds fun. We took the lift right up to the top. It was a fairly big area, everything was already laid out very nicely. There was a nice TV, a big cushy couch, a table, some chairs, a fridge, an oven with cooker on top, a microwave, and the kitchen sink. It was a perfect two person apartment. And the bedroom was real nice! A big comfy bed for two people. There was also an adjacent bathroom from the bedroom.
After looking we realised there was only one problem, there was no food. We would have to go get some from town. We unpacked first, I remember Lucy saying that "the couch would have to be 'broken in'" we would also pick up some movies and popcorn. We wandered into the town about an hour after arriving. The shopping centre was nearby. It was huge full of people and shops of all sorts, but there was one shop that caught my eye, "Brock's Fine Cooking!" I couldn't help but wonder. I nudged Lucy, "look, you wanna eat here." Lucy looked at it. She then looked back at me, "you don't think......" I shrugged, "It very well could be."
We walked into the Café. The first noticeable thing was all the awards on the walls. "Breeder of the Year, 2006, 2007, and 2008." Impressive, those awards aren't given away for nothing. There were also pictures of trainers from all over the world and all sorts of Pokemôn memorabilia covering the walls. It was rather surprising that there was no one there. It wasn't long before we were noticed by the café owner. Our hunch was right, it was Brock! "Customers! Fantastic!" He quickly ran over to greet us then shouted over his shoulder, "Honey, get a table for two ready! We got some customers!" Within seconds a pink haired lady popped her head from around the corner and said, "its ready Brock!" We where soon ushered into the main dining room by an ecstatic Brock. He guided us to our table which was already laid out for us. We sat down and Brock and the pink haired lady brought us the menus. "Thank you for choosing to dine with us today." Said Brock. "I'm Brock and this is my wife Joy, can we get you something to drink?" I looked over the drinks list for a moment. I then looked back up at them "I'll have a Mr Fizzy with lemon and cherry." I looked over at Lucy. "What'll you have Lucy?" "What is a Lucar-Blend?" She asked after looking over the list. Joy was the one to answer, "it's a blend of berries and herbs that Lucarios and other canine Pokemôn enjoy most." "I think I'll have one of those." said Lucy. Brock and Joy wandered of to make our drinks. While waiting we talked about the interesting and delicious sounding meals on the menu. It wasn't long before Joy returned with our drinks and some breadsticks, she then asked if we where ready to order. Lucy ordered the Salmon Stake and I had the Miso Ramin. While waiting for our food, we scrutinised our drinks. Mine was a normal Mr Fizzy with a slice of lemon and a cherry. Lucy's however was a big glass of bright blue blended berries. It looked very tasty and as soon as she took a sip her eyes widened and she said, "Dante! You have got to try this!" I picked up the glass and took a cautious sip. She was right to widen her eye at this, it was like having a mouthful of orgasm! I was stunned for a moment by how nice it was. It wasn't too long before our food was brought. One mouthful became another and another. It was a perfect meal. After eating Brock and Joy returned, "How about a dessert? On the house!" I was stunned. "Brock your cooking is world renowned! Why would you be offering anything for free?" Brock sighed. "We've hit a bit of hard patch. Since Cypher Co. took over the 'Poke Mart' shopping chain small businesses have suffered unbelievably..." "That's awful," said Lucy. "After this delicious meal and wonderful service you can expect us to be repeat costumers!" I looked at Lucy, "I'm not sure we have the money for that. We're pretty tight stretched." Brock cut in here. "I will give you a really nice discount! I wish we had more costumers like you!" I couldn't help but like Brock and Joy from that moment on. The dessert they brought us was out of this world. A heaping pile of ice-cream and boy was it good! Full of fudge and nuts! Before leaving Brock asked me what I do for a living. I told him that I was a Shadow Slayer. At this he though for a moment. He took me out to one side and told me all about how there was this shadow Gengar that kept on terrorising his customers. I gave him my number and told him I wasn't too far from the Café.
On the walk back Lucy spotted a DVD shop. It wasn't too impressive, but there would be something. We went in and started looking though the dvds. After looking for a bit we agreed on Sin City, one of the things we have in common; we both love a good movie with some splatter! They also sold popcorn, toffee popcorn. We picked up a bag at the counter.
Once we got home we got out a bowl and poured the Popcorn into it. I put the movie into DVD player on the TV. The movie was good, and Lucy and I cuddled up to it really nicely. After the movie Lucy and I headed straight to bed. It was much more romantic than the first time. We fell asleep soon after.
I wasn't asleep for long though, at around four thirty my phone rang. Groggily I reached out for it. It was Brock. Naturally I knew why he was phoning. He hurriedly told me about the Gengar and how it was more violent then ever. After hanging up I stood up, I was still naked from the sex beforehand. I looked around for clothes. I pulled some out of the bag. Pulled on my shirt, cargo pants, and red converse. I was about to wake Lucy, but I thought better of it. She deserves to sleep.
I walked over to Brocks, once I got there I got my sword at the ready. Brock and Joy were waiting outside. "Thank goodness you're here!" Exclaimed Joy. "The Gengar is destroying everything inside. You have to do something!" I nodded. "Stand back. The best thing against these things is the element of surprise." I took a few steps back, ran toward the door, jumped, and kicked through it feet first. I landed into a roll, stood up and drew my sword. The Gengar had been pigging out on a large leg of lamb when I got there. It dropped it instantly and launched itself at me. The following fight was frantic the Gengar was fast, but so was I. It tried raking at me with its claws I parried it with my sword. After a few minutes of frantic fighting the Gengar knocked the sword out of my hand. It embedded itself in the ceiling. I then knew I had to take things up a notch. The Gengar smirked at me; "you have no chance now, hehehe!" I never heard them talk before that. I smiled back at it; "I wouldn't bet too soon." I quickly made all the hand signs, concentrated my chakra into my right hand. Once it felt ready I shouted the activation word. "Chidori!" The lightning energy bust out of my hand with thousands of crackles, causing the sound of a thousand birds singing. It was then I felt it, the bloodlust. A broad smile spread over my face. The Gengar lunged, and I lunged. My hand collided with the Gengars chest. The energy didn't just hurt it. It ripped it in half. Blue-black blood splattered everywhere as it exploded in a flash of light. It was over quickly. My bloodlust faded quickly.
There was a horrid taste of blood in my mouth, the Gengars blood. I quickly regained control of the situation. I pulled my sword out of the ceiling and stowed it in my back sheath. I walked back outside. Brock and Joy where waiting for me. I was covered in sticky dark blood, not a pretty sight. Brock and Joy were evidently thrown by my appearance. Brock shook my hand. "We really should pay you!" He said. I shook my head, "You don't have to. I'm just helping." Brock shrugged. "Well, when we've cleaned things up you and Lucy better come back for a free meal!" I agreed. Then started walking home.
By the time I got back it was around five forty in the morning. I couldn't bare to wake Lucy. So I headed to the shower, got in with my bloodstained clothes on, and turned the spray onto high. By the time I was adequately washed it was around six twenty. I pealed off all my wet clothed and hung them up to dry. I crawled naked into bed next to Lucy. After a few moments she, still asleep, reached over and grabbed my crotch. "There it is..." she said still asleep and starting to rub her hand over it. As she started jerking me off I couldn't help but think; "I'm not gonna sleep tonight..."
When the morning came round fully Lucy had awoken. We went directly to the kitchen the only thought in my mind was coffee.
