Solaria and Frederick watched their daughter eating her lunch. "Your father told me you made a new friend today" Solaria said. "Yeah. His name is Ruko. He said his parents were once traveled with a Pokemon Trainer" Rukaria said after she finished another bite of her lunch. "Well I his parents could tell us what it was like on the road" Solaria said. "I just want to play with Ruko" Rukaria said when she finished her lunch. "Alright I promised you I will help you find him" Frederick said. "Frederick I need to talk to you" Solaria said. Frederick looked at his mate and the two Lucario moved away from their daughter. "Look after her and her new friend. It has been awhile since those bandits last attacked. I got a funny feeling they may attack again soon" Solaria whispered. "Ok. I will keep an eye on those two. But I just hope the bandits don't attack. Last time they attacked Rukaria was just a newborn" Frederick said. "Come on Daddy! I want to go and play" Rukaria shouted. "Ok Rukaria I am coming" her father said as he walked away from his mate. "Just be careful" Solaria said. Frederick nodded.
An hour later. Rukaria and Ruko played a game called "Knights and Bandits" They both played Knights and were hunting bandits. Frederick kept his distance but kept an eye on the two children. Altough Frederick was unaware of a couple of figures watching the children. "Those two Riolu will make good additions to our group of bandits" one said. "Yes but remember our biggest targets are the Lucario of the Ironspike clan" the second one said. "Well maybe we could stop trying to get these Lucario. Our group of bandits have been trying to get them for ages now" the first one said. "NO! Those Lucario will become ours. No matter how long or how many generations it will take. Our group of bandits has stuck together with the single goal in mind. To control the Lucario of the Ironspike clan" the second human said. "I guess. But children we shouldn't take" the first said. "You see that female Riolu right? I have seen ones like her before. She will become a powerful fighter later on in her life" the second human said. "So we get her then?" the first asked. "Yes we will get her then go after the other Riolu in that city as well as the Lucario" the second said. The two humans turned and walked back toward the camp they and their fellow bandits had set up near the city.
Rukaria and Roku continued to play their game moving away from the city more towards a number of humans waiting for them. The moment the children were near the humans the bandits jumped out. One grabbed Ruko while others tried to grab Rukaria. After a bit they did grab her. "Now we can give these two back to the group and then we begin the attack" the lead human said as the group began to move off. Rukaria struggled against the human holding her. "Daddy! Daddy! Help!" she shouted. "Cover that Riolu's mouth" the lead human said. The human holding Rukaria nodded as his hand clamped down on Rukaria's mouth. He then brought Rukaria up to his face and said "You will behave or you will be punished" The human became aware something behind him breathing hard. "Harm my daughter will you?" a voice said. The human turned to see Frederick standing there. "If you want to harm my daughter you will have to go trough me first" Frederick said. Before the human had a chance to do anything Frederick was already on the attack. The Lucario had gotten his daughter free of the human's grip in less then a minute. "Daddy they still have Ruko" Rukaria said. Frederick put his daughter down and went after the group of humans. Frederick come back after ten minutes with Ruko. Frederick picked up Rukaria and made for the city but also made sure the bandits didn't follow them.
Later that night. While Rukaria was sleeping Solaria and Frederick talked. "If those bandits did try to take her then something must be done just in case this happens again" Solaria said. "Don't worry I will teach Rukaria and her friends to defend themselves should the bandits try to get them again" Frederick said. "Yeah. And I think it is best she starts farming as well" Solaria said. Frederick looked at his mate and asked "Why?" "Well it may get her use to things she could use when the bandits attack again" Solaria said. "Maybe we can see when and if she wants to work with the local blacksmiths Sword and Shield. I will go talk with them in the morning" Frederick said. "Ok and you better talk to Ruko's parents and Matariel's parents. To see if they agree to let you teach their children how to defend themselves" Solaria said. "Ok. I will explain why just to see if they would allow" Frederick said. They both nodded before going to bed themselves.
