Story Notes:

I'm not too sure what I'm doing, so I can't say that it is good. In fact, the first chapter came out rather strangely.

Revelations

I padded around eagerly, waiting for Tia to come. All my life I knew this day had to come sooner or later. It had been a week since the others had evolved, and it was no longer fun to wrestle with your friends when they were twice your size. In order to become an espeon and umbreon via the evolution stone, they had to become a pair.

Thinking about it, I wondered if Tia would want to become my mate so the she could evolve. While I've never considered her as my mate before, she would be a nice one, for starters. Meanwhile, I swallowed my half of the evolution stone to get ready for the mating process.

Tia peeked out of the undergrowth. It was time. "Skye, Jolt told me you wanted me to meet me next the river, so I came."Mustering my courage, I told her what must be done.

"The reason you can't evolve, is because you need an umbreon partner to evolve with you at the same time..." Tia tilted her head to the left, now even more confused.

"But you're here, so why aren't the stones working?" I walked over and licked her cheek. She backed away slowly from my sudden intimate action, but found herself against a tree. Sensing my chance, I pushed her to the ground, my muzzle pressed to hers in a kiss. Her eyes were filled with terror as my tongue explored the warm confines of her mouth. She scrabbled to escape under me, so I broke the kiss. "Why are you doing this, Skye? This isn't like you..." She was blushing furiously, almost as though she enjoyed it.

"Because...we have to become mates in order for the stones to work. That's why Leaf and I didn't want him to become the espeon, because from then on we would be...yeah you know what. I thought you got the hint from the shape of the stone itself." Tia gasped, a paw pressed to her lips. "So...will you be my mate?"

I closed my eyes, expecting her adamant reply, when I was knocked over. Opening them, I saw Tia crying happily.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for you to say that..." It was my turn to be confused by this sudden turn of events. "You were always so busy playing that you didn't see my feelings for you. Skye, I love you!" I placed a paw on her back and held her closer. Then, we kissed again. This time, Tia's tongue fenced with mine in my mouth, and all this kissing made my sheath harden and rub against her underbelly. A bush rustled nearby, but that was just the wind.

Then, without warning, our evolutions kicked in. I felt a surge of power flow through my body, which was growing. Tia's mouth, if even possible, became even more inviting as we continued our kiss despite the rapid changes that were happening to our body. When the evolution finished, we broke the kiss, a strand of saliva connecting our muzzles.

Tia then got to her paws and raised her tail, showing me the slit in between her legs. "Go on...I want you to be my first..." Smiling, I placed my forepaws on hers as I mounted, trying not to put too much weight on her newly evolved body. My cock was fully out of its sheath now, and it was pressing against her entrance, making her moan slightly in pleasure.

I bucked my hips back so that the tip of my member was in her pussy. It was so tight and moist, almost like a vice grip on my twitching member. The sensation of entering Tia alone made me shoot out pre into her pussy. I nuzzled her before I thrust my body slowly, piercing through the barrier that was her virginity. Tia screamed in pain and pleasure, feeling the walls of her birth canal stretch for the first time. I felt her blood ooze slowly, waited. She was still panting violently from the pain, so I waited for her to recover her strength. When she did, however, her pussy was clenching against my cock, making it shoot more pre inside her. Then, the actual mating began. Thrusting my hips against her body, my cock slid in and out of her pussy. It felt so wondrous, so pleasurable as Tia moaned in a cute voice every time I thrusted. Both of us being virgins, it wasn't long before we neared our first climax together.

Sensing my first climax, I bucked my hips at a faster rate, and Tia was starting to slide forward with each of my hard thrusts, still moaning loudly. The bushes rustled in what must have been the biggest gust of wind ever, but we didn't care. Tia's tail stroked along my balls as she started thrusting back on her own. I whined as I hit my climax, and thrusted one last time.

"I love you, Tia!" I screamed as I had my first orgasm. She must have been nearing hers as well for she was too tired to reply. I cummed so quickly that my knot hadn't yet had the chance to form. My seed pulsed through my member and into her pussy, which was still spasming violently from her own orgasm. Her tail teased my underbelly, making me release another spurt of cum inside her.

Panting, I bent over to lick her cheek before I slid out of her. She continued to pant loudly, but there was a big smile on her face. "Your cock...felt so wonderful inside me..." She collapsed on the floor in exhaustion, licking her hind legs to clean them. "And your cum...tastes so good. That must've been the pleasure my mentor taught me about..." Cooing softly, Tia fell asleep on the inviting ground. Sighing, I admired her beautiful body as I remembered the leaves.

All of a sudden, a searing pain burnt through my blind eye as I fell to the ground, placing a paw on my blind eye. "What's...going on? My eye hurts..." I looked at Tia desperately for help, but she was fast asleep. "I can see..."My vision was restored to my blind eye, but at a horrible cost. My vision soon faded before my very eyes as my body was wracked with torturous pain. It wasn't long before my body gave up on me and I passed out.

----

Glacia watched Skye and Tia with morbid curiosity. "Why are they mating? Tia isn't even in heat..." She thought to herself. She had gone for a drink of water at night, but she had chanced upon so much more. Glacia waited until Skye had carried Tia off before going to the river for her drink. She sighed as she stared upon the reflected stars in the surface of the slow moving river, admiring its beauty before dipping her muzzle and lapping up some of its crystal clear water.

Ever since she evolved, it had become extremely warm in the forest for her. The night was the only comfortable time where she could truly enjoy herself. To cool off, Glacia found herself swimming with Myst and Jolt a lot. She'd noticed that Jolt was slowly getting closer to Myst every day, and that Flar didn't like it.

Looking up at the sky, Glacia watched the stars twinkle.
Then, a shooting star flew by. "I guess I should make a wish..." She muttered to herself. Glacia loved Leaf, but he never seemed to notice her affectionate actions. Everyone else here already knew her intention, with the exception of Leaf. Closing her eyes, she began her wish. "I wish...that Leaf loved me as much as I loved him. I wish...that Leaf would love me as much as I love him..."
Glacia was shocked to feel a rough tongue pass over her cheek. Opening one eye, she saw Leaf beside her, blushing so brightly that it could be seen in the darkness of the night. "Glacia."

"Was that you, Leaf?" Leaf nodded, his tail curling around Glacia's hind leg uncomfortably.

"I've always liked you but... I never knew you felt that way about me. How long have you been keeping it inside?" A tear rolled down Glacia's cheek as she nuzzled Leaf, just like she used to do when they were eevees.

"Ever since I met you I knew you were special..." Leaf nuzzled Glacia back gently. It helped that Leaf was slightly taller than Glacia, and they looked just like a perfect couple in the luminous light of the moon. "But you didn't seem to like me at all..."

"It's just that...." Leaf placed his lips to Glacia's in a brief kiss before continuing. "I wasn't so sure if you'd really felt that way about me. And so I didn't show any love back..." Glacia sat down on the ground, cleaning Leaf's saliva off her muzzle with a long lick. "I guess I should've told you, huh."

"I love you, Leaf. And...I want you to be my mate..." Leaf downright refused, backing away slowly from Glacia's advance.

"I won't do it. I'm not one to rush things. If we're to have a relationship it will not be one fuelled by endless sex and mating. I really do love you, Glacia, but I see no reason for mating now. Not yet, at least..." Glacia's tail dropped sadly.

"I just saw Tia and Skye mating together, and they've never even loved each other until today. So what's wrong with mating now?" Leaf sighed, kissing Glacia once again. This time, his kiss was much more vigorous as their tongues wrapped around each other's in their mouths.

"You know I love you, but it's just that mating isn't just...mating, per se. It's almost like an assurance that we'll be together for life. Besides, Tia and Skye's mating was more of an evolution ritual than of anything else, though I would believe they've really fallen in love."

"You don't love me enough, then..." Leaf rubbed his cheek against Glacia's pelt, shivering slightly from the cold. To him, Glacia was special, the one that he would love for the rest of his life. But to Glacia, all he saw was an indecisive leafeon that wasn't sure if he was up to a relationship.

"I do. How many times must I prove it to you? I just want to stay a cub for a while more, okay? I just want to play, and relax, and not think of anything like death or mating yet..." Leaf walked away from the river, back to the dens. Glacia turned to follow, but vines creeped up her legs, holding her in place. In her position, Glacia began to cry, but what she didn't know that Leaf was crying with her.

"I just need some time, Glacia...I hope you understand..." Leaf muttered bitterly to himself. He had gone through too much in the past few days. He had lost his parents, his teacher, and most of the ones he held dear. Now all he had were his friends and the one he loved, and he just couldn't afford to have a relationship with Glacia purely based on sex alone. What the others didn't know was that while they played with each other, Leaf's care taxed his mind and body more than anyone else. What's more, under his usually carefree exterior, lay a troubled inner eevee as he normally couldn't stand the sight of injuries. "What I've been doing was for the sake of you and your friends...but why am I the last one to have a break?"

Sighing again, Leaf pondered if he should go back to the den with the others tonight. Then, he thought of Skye and Tia lying on the floor, vulnerable and exhausted. "I guess I still need to take care of them, after all. I'll take the night watch, but if anyone wakes me up in the morning I'll really grow irritable and bite." Careful to bypass the main route so that he would not meet Glacia along the way, Leaf headed for where Skye and Tia were sleeping, intent to make sure that they came to no harm.

----

"Perfect." A mightyena appeared where Leaf was standing.
"And Myst's headed here too...I'll just disguise myself and get in."The mightyena took an unused detour that he knew Myst would take, into the bushes and in front of another part of the river. Closing his eyes, the mightyena took the form of a leafeon, just like Leaf.
Suddenly, the bushes rustled behind him. Smiling, he shot vines into the bushes, dragging the interloper out. It was Myst, as he expected.

"Leaf...mind letting me go?" Myst was contorted into an uncomfortable position, her hind legs spread open by Leaf's vines, revealing the fine, untouched slit in between her legs. The fake Leaf licked his lips in a scary way, making Myst whimper.

The imposter broke into a sadistic laugh. "Nah, of course I will, Myst. I won't do that my friends." Breathing a sigh of relief, Myst picked herself up with a blush on her face.

"It's embarrassing... I didn't mean to flash you just now...is something the matter?" Myst noticed the grin on Leaf's face, blushing even harder.

"You're beautiful, you know that? You almost want to make me do you here and now..." Leaf licked his lips again.
"Oh just lie down and let me have my eye candy..."

"Leaf, stop it...this isn't like you at all. What has gotten into you?"

"I just thought it'd be...nice...to be alone for once. I was just trying to scare you away." Myst shook her head.

"I thought just the same. I took this unused path because I thought no one else knew about it. Guess I was wrong, though. Anyway, Leaf, why do you want to be alone? Normally you're always so protective of Flar and the others. And what did you mean by friends? Is someone else here?" Myst asked, curiously.

The fake Leaf sighed masterfully. "Since you're here, it's not in my nature to turn you away. Of course, I sense that you have the same problem as what I'm facing now. Perhaps you would like to share as a means of intruding on my privacy?" Myst smacked Leaf on the head with her tail.

"You go first! You were the one who intruded on my privacy, you bloody pervert!" Leaf's sense of humour was slightly demented, though Myst found herself laughing a little at what just happened.

"As you will, Myst." The imposter slowly got into Leaf's character. "I just got sick of everyone always relying on me to take care of them. I mean, we're all the same age. And I guess I just got burnout and gave up. Now what about you? I suspect that it's something to do with your brother and half-brother."

"You're sharp as ever, Leaf... Problem is, I can't decide on who I love more. Flar's always been there for me, and I think I may just love him. But it's awkward when we're together. He still thinks of me as his sister, and doesn't want a relationship yet. Jolt, on the other hand, loves me deeply, and he's kinda cute. I have to admit that I can't wait any longer for Flar, but I would be letting him down if I didn't. What should I do, Leaf?"
Myst was padding circles around Leaf, waiting impatiently for his response. Leaf sat down on the ground, peeking up
Myst's hind legs, his cold nose pressing against Myst's slit.

Myst jumped from Leaf's cold nose poking her slit, and she whimpered, lying down on the ground. "Leaf...what are you doing? Please don't do that...I don't want to love you too..." Myst whined fearfully.

"As I suspected." Leaf withdrew his nose from Myst's slit, making her whine again. "Your heat can't be more than a few days away, and you want someone to satisfy your lust when that time comes. Yet you're torn between one who loves you but who you don't quite love, and one whom you love but doesn't quite love you. I'm sorry if you thought I had advice, for I have never been in this situation before. I would take Jolt if you really need to curb your heat."

Myst didn't bother getting up. She felt slightly violated, but she knew that Leaf had no malicious intent.
"Thanks, Leaf. I guess I'll just go with my heart..." Leaf raised an eyebrow.

"You're thanking me even after I abused your privacy? You're very strange for a vaporeon. I doubt you'd hold your ground against me if I chose to rape you then..." Myst gasped, staring at Leaf in a strange way. She had never thought for a moment that Leaf would do that to her, despite placing her in a compromising position and
sniffing at her slit.

"But Leaf, why would you do that to me?" Myst felt her respect for Leaf slowly fading away as Leaf's movements became even more obscure.

"You see? That's what causes your problems! You don't place faith in your own thoughts, just relying on the opinion of others. What if Flar really doesn't love as a mate at all, but as a sister? Would you continue to try to convince him to become your mate? It isn't going to happen! Grow up, for once." Myst didn't even look down, just looked Leaf straight in the face. Something was amiss, and he saw a tear form at the corner of his eye.

"Leaf, I know you're depressed about something. Something other than what you told me. Just tell me, Leaf. You and Flar were there for me when I was alone then, so why can't you share your secrets with me?"

"There's nothing wrong with me! I told you I'm just sick of looking out for Glacia and the others!" Myst whacked Leaf on the head with her tail again. "Ow! What was that for?"

"You love Glacia, don't you? But you're not too sure if you're ready for her...wha-" Leaf raised the vines again, wrapping them around Myst's legs again and sending her through the bush. More vines raised themselves around the bush, forming a barrier that blocked off access to where Leaf was. "Remember!" Myst shouted through the barrier.
"You can't run away from reality forever!"

The fake Leaf ignored that, instead looking at the river. A whirlpool formed near the banks, and a majestic blue quadruped rose from it. His silver plated body was completely dry as he landed on the riverbank. The mightyena returned to his normal self again as he looked up to see the giant figure, as it was at least 3 times his own size.

"It took you longer than I expected to get rid of Myst." The figure said disapprovingly, his booming voice ringing in the mightyena's ears.

"I'm sorry, Dialga. I had to try not to blow my cover in front of one of them. It was more...difficult than I had expected."

"And yet in the end, Archaxis, you still lost your temper. I need that flareon to prove to my brother that the world can yet be saved. He will give my brother the faith he needs to keep the world running like it should. I'll give him a fraction of my power, as I did with you, so that he can travel back in time to change what he will." Archaxis whined unhappily.

"Then I might as well not have helped you. That flareon bears a strong grudge against me, and I know my past self will be decimated somehow." The massive figure laughed, the waves of sound throwing Archaxis against a tree.

"I will not let the people who have helped me come to harm, and in time, you will find that you'll also use the power have given you to change the past. How you want to go about it, I will leave to your discretion, Archaxis. Though I believe you've shed enough blood already?" Archaxis unseathed his claws, snarling.

"You told me that you would return the world to normal, and thus I have stained my soul with these killings. Am I to understand that you may have been lying to me all this time? I won't help you anymore, then!" Archaxis screamed angrily, leaping at the blue figure and sinking his claws down his foreleg.

"Temper, Archaxis." The figure warned as the wound sealed itself instantly. "I won't tell a lie, alright? I'm still -quite honest, even if I do say so myself. I will hasten the coming of the vaporeon's heat so that the leafeon will still be asleep, and you can take the form of the leafeon again. I will be in general control of the situation, but I need you to direct the flareon to this place. Make no mistake."

"Have I ever, Dialga? Have I ever?" Dialga made a low sound of intrigue.

"You killed your potential mate off instead of changing the past. Why was that? You had the chance given to you, and yet you gave it away." Archaxis smiled.

"I know I'm not a very nice mightyena, but I still have my honor left. I didn't want to play unfairly by using something that Night could not." Dialga frowned, deep in thought. "So I decided to court her, like any ordinary mightyena could. I never expected to win her over in the first place."

"And yet you chose to kill her right after Night won. Why
is that so?"

"I'm also a masochist, of sorts. I knew that that espeon was beyond my reach when she fell in love with Night, and I just couldn't bear the sight, so I got rid of her. It was my own unique way of getting revenge, I suppose. But it has become an obsession, of endless killing and murder. How I wish I did not kill that espeon, so that my paws would not be stained with so much eevee blood. I wanted to make amends, so I came to you." Dialga didn't say a thing as he glowed brightly, shrinking to a size even smaller than Archaxis.

"And you've come to the right place, Archaxis, for I am Night." Archaxis backed against the tree in horror as Night pressed his claws against his throat. "I tried to live a normal life, but you ruined it for me, and you were the reason why my brother is unhappy with the world. You've caused a lot of our problems, and you jolly well fix them." The umbreon roared, halting the flow of time in the area. "That alone should suffice."

"I won't let you down, Dialga. I know that I'll hurt Flar, but only if you promise me that you'll change things for the better." Archaxis growled, turning into the leafeon form again. "Someone's coming, you better go away."

"I sensed her too. The vaporeon is persistent, I have to grant her that. Worry not, I'll keep the leafeon and his friends encased in time so that nobody can interfere with you." Opening the whirlpool again, Dialga leapt gracefully into it before vanishing into its murky depths. Myst's head popped out of the water, looking at Leaf with a confused expression.

"Was there a whirlpool in the river just now? I was swimming in the river when I was sucked here..." Myst panted, walking onto shore.

"Myst, has your heat come? You smell different..." Archaxis egged Myst on. Myst blushed from his sudden interest.

"Yes, and that's why I went swimming. It feels like my hind legs are burning up, and my body feels warm all the time. I don't think I can go back to Flar without losing myself in my need. What should I do?" Archaxis smiled, licking Myst's cheek.

"Don't worry, my dear, let's go back together. I'll keep you in control with my vines if I have to."

"Thanks." Archaxis willed the vines blocking the main path to disappear, so that they could go back together. He felt waves of relief rush over him as he watched Myst's reaction. 'At least she doesn't know that I'm an imposter, but what about the others?" They walked back together, but they had barely started on their way when Archaxis' sheath hardened. The vaporeon's heat was the first heat he had smelt ever since he courted Night's mate, and it was driving him mad. His mind told him to stay focused, but his body started moving uncontrollably towards Myst's, their pelts rubbing together.

"Stay on task!" Dialga hissed in his mind, bringing him back to his senses. Archaxis wisely held his breath for the rest of the duration, thankful that he could slow the passing of time through his body.

----

Jolt and I were padding around the berry pile anxiously when Myst and Leaf arrived. Skye and Tia had gone off to do their evolution ritual, there wasn't a need to find Leaf, but that didn't explain where Myst had gone last night. Almost immediately, both of us lunged towards her, who backed away in shock.

"Myst! Where did you go? I was alone with Flar last night, and I thought that you abandoned us. Please don't leave me...Flar and you are the only ones I have left." Jolt reached Myst first, knocking her over with his sudden lunge. I landed on him soon after, making him yelp in pain. Myst felt smothered by our combined weight, too breathless and surprised to speak.

"You're in...heat..." I commented worriedly. Myst was in heat, but I didn't want Jolt having his way with her. I loved Myst, but I didn't want to break my promise to Night at the same time.

"Then I'll be her mate, Flar. You know what you promised Night!" Jolt said calmly, licking Myst's cheek. Myst writhed under us to get free, and when she did, she turned to me, then to Jolt, then to me again before bursting into tears.

"I can't decide who I love...just go away!" Myst turned tail and ran through the bushes. Jolt and I immediately gave chase. Jolt was much faster than I was, and with each stride he was going ahead. But I couldn't afford to lose to him as Myst was at stake. True, I may have been selfish, but Night was dead, while Myst was alive. Wasn't Myst more important than her dead father?" Then, I fell to the ground as a vine held my leg tightly. I squirmed, but the vine held me fast. Twisting my body to see
behind, I saw Leaf catch up.

"Hold up, Flar. If you can't catch him, then you've lost already. I know a detour that will help you catch Myst before Jolt reaches her, alright?" Looking pleadingly at Leaf, I let Leaf lead the way. Instead of continuing down the main path to the river, Leaf instead leapt through some bushes, so I followed. I was surprised to see an unused path when I reached the other side. "Go along this path and you'll reach the river. Now hurry!"

I didn't hear him as I had already dashed ahead, thinking of nobody but Leaf. I smelled traces of Myst's heat and I
knew I was on the right track. There was no sign of Jolt, which made things even better. When I reached the river, I stopped.

----

"Jolt, don't come here please..." Myst pleaded with him as he caught up to her.

"Myst, I can help you with your heat, alright? If you'll just let me do it..." Jolt offered, and Myst skidded to a halt. She had reached the riverbank.

"I'm sorry, Jolt, but I think I love Flar, and he loves me. I want him to be my mate..." Jolt forced his muzzle upon the vaporeon's making her yelp in surprise. "Please, Jolt. Respect my choice..."

"You think my brother loves you? He treats you as his sister, for heaven's sake! Why can't you see that he will never be your mate? I can, and I do love you, so why don't you take me seriously!" Jolt was getting desperate.
There was very little time to sway Myst in his favour before his brother arrived. While he ran at twice his brother's speed, it wouldn't be long before Flar reached the river as well.

"I...I know he does, and I want to ask him if he loves me." Jolt snorted.

"Flar this, Flar that! Would you love your own brother? Are you so desperate that you'd kid yourself with the illusion that your own brother would be your mate?" Myst was still violently refusing his actions. In one last desperate attempt, Jolt tried using the umbreon that both Myst and Flar held in great respect.

"What would Night say if you fell in love with your brother?" Myst whined softly, before licking Jolt's cheek.

"You're...right....who am I kidding? Flar will never love me..." Myst let her body be overpowered by Jolt's as they kissed, for the first time in their lives.

----

Panting, I looked for Myst's presence, almost expecting to see her smiling at me. Her scent went stale here, and I knew that I had veered off the course somewhere.
Looking down the riverbank, my ears flopped in dejection. On another part of the riverbank, Jolt and Myst were kissing one another. Dejectedly, I swam to the middle of the river, intent to drown myself when a huge whirlpool opened up, swallowing me inside.

Even the world itself didn't want me alive anymore.
