Story Notes:
I'm not too sure what I'm doing, so I can't say that it is good. In fact, the first chapter came out rather strangely.
The Power is Yours...
I felt myself floating limply underwater. Opening my eyes groggily, all I could see was a mess of murky water, with streams of sunlight floating from the bright overhead sun through the shallower parts of water. Struggling violently, I took a deep breath as I realised that I was going to die soon.
Hold on.
A deep breath? I took another to confirm my hallucinations. First a giant whirlpool opening in a calm river, and now breathing underwater? Today must have been a strange day, I murmured softly to myself as I swam about. Some mysterious force kept me below the surface of the water, so I discovered when I tried to swim to the shore to catch Myst in her heat. A gruff but familiar voice was arguing with yet another familiar voice at the bottom of the lake, though the mysterious force continued to prevent me from swimming too far away from where I was. "Where am I?" Gravity had no power over me in this strange world. While I should have drowned by now, I instead found myself in an endless void, where I floated around. "Am I dead?" A pair of eyes glowed in front of me as a massive figure appeared.
"You have finally come, Flar." I opened my eyes, wide in shock, as I heard that voice. My eyes strained to see in the water, but all I could see was a black figure emerge from the river's depths, rings illuminating the water. "My son."
"Am I dead?" I asked, rather naively. Night shook his head gently and laughed.
"Of course not, Flar. I just had to tell you who I really am." It might have been a trick of the light, but the black figure grew in size, to become a giant. The glow from the rings was soon replaced with a bright blue light that lit the river, enough for me to see if I squinted. "I am Dialga. The god of time." I looked on in disbelief as the river seemed to vanish altogether, and I felt myself floating about in an endless abyss, too far for the eye to see.
"You were lying to me and Myst then. To the whole pack!" Night or Dialga, whoever he was, shook his head and laughed a peal of laughter once more.
"Oh no, Flar. Night was indeed a real pokemon. Even more real than the real me I have to say. People and pokemon know Dialga as a legend, a being that does not exist, a being that passed away a long time ago. But our pack knows Dialga as a close friend, and even Myst knows me as a caring father. Suffice to say, I preferred living as something that was real, not just a fairytale."
"So the pack knew that you were a god. But why didn't you inform them that Archaxis was coming to kill them all? Don't you have mastery over time? Couldn't you just have..." I swung my paws vaguely. "saved them from their deaths?" Dialga laughed again, changing back into Night.
"But I did! I told them that my associate, of sorts, was coming to kill them all. I also promised them that I would bring them back to life after I found out more about the seven of you. So they agreed to let themselves be killed if and only if I upheld my deal. That alone shows how much they trust me." Another hauntingly familiar figure appeared right beside me, and I snarled loudly as I realised who it was.
"Archaxis! What are you doing here?" The mightyena growled softly before looking at Dialga with due respect. "You were the one that made me unhappy in the first place! You killed off my entire pack, Archaxis! Dialga, I want nothing to do with you if he's got anything to do with it!" Archaxis stared at me angrily, as though he thought differently about the matter.
"Show some respect to the god of time before he sends your pathetic ass into an endless void! You made your own life difficult. Think about it, I gave you a chance with Myst, and you threw it away! Would you even have that chance if I hadn't given it to you by killing Night? You were the one who decided to let my opportunity go, and that split-second decision cost you your mate. How can you blame me?" Snarling angrily, I blew a jet of flames towards Archaxis, who didn't even bat an eyelid. "Oh please, didn't you hear what Night said? I burnt his mate to death, didn't I?"
"What Archaxis said is true. He has a certain part of my power, that I have, wrongly, given to him. Let me show you what would have happened if Archaxis didn't kill us all off." Dialga closed his eyes, willing an event in the past to vanish. All of a sudden, I was sucked back into reality as Dialga and Archaxis vanished before my eyes.
----
Night stood over me, his head tilted. He tapped my forehead gently with his paw, and I felt it. It was all real! "Night! I missed you!" Hugging him awkwardly with my paws, I ended up falling to the ground. Night looked at me in confusion.
"Who are you?" Night snarled. "Why are you intruding on our pack grounds?" I backed away slowly. Night's reaction was...strange.
"But Night, it's me! Flar!" I dodged a paw swipe as Night prepared himself for a fight.
"Flar isn't a flareon. I would think that I know my own son better than some stranger, who comes barging into our territory strutting himself as an imposter!" Night's pelt rose, his rings glowing angrily in retaliation as he moved behind me with unerring speed and precision.
Dialga ran a thought through my mind at this point, 'This really happened. You're the only one who knows what happened in the original dimension.
With a sudden realisation, I blew a jet of flames into the grass, setting it alight and using it as a decoy for my escape. Night panicked, trying to look for others to fight the fire, and I used that diversion to my advantage. I guessed that she would be in her den, and I was right. To my horror, Jolt was rubbing pelts with Myst while my younger self watched on uncomfortably behind them.
"I love you, Jolt..." Myst said, before indulging in a passionate kiss with Jolt.
I screamed in agony.
----
"Dialga, the two are such lovebirds! I've never seen an electric type mate before. That Jolt was rutting Myst so fast I could barely see a blur! Too bad you didn't have the heart to watch on, Flar." Archaxis taunted as Night sighed. I stared disbelievingly at the two of them, nearly as close as friends when one had killed the other nearly a few days ago!
"Flar, I know you love Myst, and I will not stop you any longer. Consider the promise you made to me invalid. I will allow you to love Myst if and only if you do not allow the love for my daughter to consume your emotions and ultimately control your actions." I moaned as a tear slid down my cheek.
"It's all too late, Night. Myst is already mating with Jolt. If I go back now, Jolt will probably feel the sadness that I am feeling now. I can't just do that to my brother, Night." Night nodded in agreement, placing a paw on my shoulder like he used to do when he was 'alive'.
"Oh really? What if I grant you some of my powers, so that you can reverse time? You can then tell Myst that you really loved her, instead of fretting about it and ultimately letting your brother make the first move, right?" Before I could reply, the world spun around me.
"Thank you for this gift...Dialga...Night..." I said, dizzy.
"Oh you'll treasure it, alright. And you'll get what you want in the end...as long as you try your best. Go on, think of the time that you want to change, and go there. Archaxis will be there if you need him. Just a warning, in might and power you aren't alone, but in soul and spirit you are one and your own." I thought back to the time when I rejected Myst's advances for the first time.
"What does that mean, Night?" Dialga looked seriously at me.
"I'm not actually sure of it myself. It is a rather cryptic warning, I suppose, but it is a warning nonetheless..." Dialga's voice faded as I felt my body being torn apart, travelling through the thin fabric of time.
----
"Flar...Flar...wake up!" Myst pawed at my body uncontrollably as I woke from my unconsciousness. I was back in the forest, at the berry pile. Myst collapsed onto me, and I let out an 'oof' of surprise as she started to cry in my shoulders. I licked her cheek passionately as I comforted her, telling her that I was alright. She sniffed loudly, asking me something that I had already prepared an answer to. "Flar...do you..."
"I love you." I said, without any remorse or regrets in my voice. Myst cried once more, only this time she was happy and not worried. "I know you're in your heat, and I just want to ask... will you be my mate?" Myst sniffed again as she lay on her back, smiling at me. I smiled back as I pressed my cold nose against her slit. Myst yelped in surprise, kicking a glancing blow to my side with her powerful legs, toned to swim for prolonged periods of time. She bent her body up, looking at her own privates while blushing furiously. She must never have seen herself in that way before.
"Flar...we've been together for a while and, ever since we met, I think I love you too. I mean, you always are so warm to me, despite how cheeky I can be sometimes..." Myst was pouring out her emotions, the same way as she had done last time. Only this time, I knew how to answer her.
"Yes, Myst. I know you do." Placing my muzzle to hers, I enjoyed Myst's cool mouth without any regret. "Myst...would you like to mate with me? Can we mate so that I know you love me and that nobody can take you away from me?" Myst looked at me with a smile on her face.
"I've waited for you to say that to me...what took you?" Myst blew me onto my back with a jet of water from her mouth. Soaking wet, I whined softly.
"Hey! You know I don't like being wet! What did you do that for?" I was soon silenced as her finned tail ran over my exposed malehood, the pink head already out of its sheath. She grabbed my sheath with her front paws, licking the bubble of precum that I had leaked from her tail. Suggestively, she wiggled her hips at my face, and I got the hint. Looking for the pink slit in between her legs, I started licking the fur until it became visible. Meanwhile, Myst was way ahead, already starting to lick and suck at my unsheathed cock, while I leaked precum like it was my saliva.
Not wanting to make Myst do all the work, I stuck out my wet tongue and licked her slit. Myst was getting horny from blowing me, and I tasted her pussy juice on her lips. Myst had a sweet yet tangy flavour, that was strange and yet still better than any berry in the world. I continued to lap at her slit, trying to coax more juice out before forcing my tongue through her slit altogether. Her pussy started to spasm as I licked her walls thoroughly, before discovering an extra sensitive spot that made Myst moan and bite gently on my member each time I passed it over with my tongue.
I was losing my concentration, however, as I neared my very first climax. Myst was bobbing her head up and down, taking more and more of my cock into her mouth each time before she reached the knot. My knot was too large for her mouth to take in, but her tongue fell out of her mouth, licking my knot and trying to get me to cum. Not about to cum first, I passed my tongue through her sensitive spots again before placing a paw on her hind legs, pawing her with my digits. I still came first, however, as my self-control faded with one more lick from Myst. My body clenched itself into an arc as my cock spewed cum into Myst's mouth. The climax forced more of my muzzle into Myst's pussy, making her cum in my face. Lapping the strands of cum that came out, I enjoyed her flavour intensely.
From the sounds she were making and her expression, I knew that she enjoyed my cum at least as much as I did hers. She lay on me for a while, and I felt her chest press against my belly every time she took a breath. A drop of water fell on my face, making me look up. I saw Jolt upside down.
Another drop splattered on my face. This time, it was one of Jolt's tears.. "My brother, you have broken my heart. There's nothing more I want to say to you..." He ran off, much like Myst had done in the future. Worriedly, I got to my paws, careful not to tread on Myst's beautiful body. Myst looked at me, still panting from our lovemaking session, my cum sticking to her lips in strands.
"Should I come along?" I licked her cheek in assurance.
"I think I can handle it by myself. He is, after all, my brother." I felt sorry for what I had done to Jolt, even though he was not aware that I had changed the past. "Besides, I feel like I owe him something." I added under my breath, softly so that Myst could not hear. Before Myst could say any more, I ran off in Jolt's direction.
The path that he took shook me to the very core. It was the path to the river that Myst had taken. Every single rock, leaf, or even grain of dirt was the same. Even the grass felt familiar under my paws. Stopping at the detour that Leaf had guided me to, I smelt Jolt's scent all over it.
"It wasn't Myst's path he wants, Flar. It's yours. He feels like you did when your heart was broken." Archaxis appeared beside me, murring softly in content. "So, are you intent to watch your brother die?"
"Not if I can stop it. It hasn't happened yet, and even if it does, I still have the power to change it again." Archaxis's expression was neutral.
"Just beware. One day you'll find yourself going deeper and deeper into the mysteries of time and into the creation of the earth itself. Then you'll no longer know what's right or wrong anymore." He vanished as quickly as he had come, and I continued my search for Jolt.
Jolt was there where I stood, looking at the river before looking sadly at me. "I loved Myst, but you took her from me. Do you think I can stand my brother mate with the one I loved? Every single day of my life after this will be hell for me. I'd rather just..." He leaped into the river, letting his body sink without even putting up a fight. Aghast, I leapt into the river after him. He was forcing his head underwater. Trying to pull him to the riverbank, all I grabbed was his limp and slowly sinking body.
Jolt was dead. Letting his body go in defeat, I was shocked to watch the body start to swim again. "Whatever happened to your confidence? That you could change the present just with your actions alone?" It was that annoying Archaxis again.
"I think I know a way that I can make myself be mates with Myst without Jolt objecting." Willing myself back in time again, I watched as my life flashed back in seconds, to the time where Night had just been killed. Archaxis, still in the future Jolt's body, smiled as he licked his claws.
"I remember killing Night. It was such a boring fight. He barely put up any resistance at all for a god." I looked at him, disgusted that he was using my brother's dead body.
"How many lives have you claimed, Archaxis? What maims your soul so?"
"I had your power once. Dialga gave it to me, and I tried to find a world where we all could be happy. It didn't happen. Then I took one annoying person off my list of people to satisfy by killing him. Then another...and another..." I stared at him, wondering if I should believe his story. I was after all, in the same situation as he had been in. "Until I met you. Dialga gave me a chance to repent by guiding you so that you would not go awry. I believe you've thought of a way to have Myst as a mate without harming anyone else?" Archaxis pointed at Myst as an eevee, sneaking towards the pile of stones in the dead of the night. "I see a way right there..."
Myst picked up the waterstone, about to swallow it when I knocked it out of her paws with a gentle tackle. "Who are you?" She asked fearfully.
"I'm F..." I begun, when Archaxis snarled loudly at me. I remembered that Myst wouldn't have known me as a flareon then. "Flareon. That's my name."
"Why are you here?" The more she asked, the more I was afraid that I would leak something out. I pushed her to the ground, my paw reaching for the clear curved stone. She looked at my paw with shock, before forcing her muzzle shut. I pressed the rock against her lips, which just refused to budge.
"Don't make me do this the hard way..." She continued her resistance. In desperation, I pressed her chest with my paw so hard that she gasped for breath. In that short moment, I forced the stone into her muzzle before pressing hard on her chest again to make her swallow it. She swallowed the stone tearfully, before I let go of her forelegs.
"Why did you make me? I don't even know you!" She sat down on the floor, teary-eyed. I felt myself shrinking, and I quickly ran out of the cave. My body morphed back into one of an eevee's. I looked at Archaxis beside me questioningly.
"Kids these days..." Archaxis whined, pawing at his muzzle in frustration. "You changed the past, Flar! So will the future. And just in case you're wondering, Myst cannot see me. I am a projection from another dimension. Only those who can pass through time can see me at this moment."
Walking back into the cave, I pretended to look surprised."Myst? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Myst pointed at the pile of stones. Sighing, I picked up the black half of the stone, swallowing it with a loud gulp.
Myst looked up at me. "Why did you do that? I thought you wanted to become a flareon? Why did you take the umbreon stone?" I smiled at her, licking her cheek.
"That's because...I think I love you. And I want to be together with you forever." Archaxis spat at me, but I ignored it as best as I could. "Sacrifices have to be made, don't you agree? How about we evolve now? We can always do the mating ritual..."
"Flar...please. I was forced to swallow the white half of the stone. Now I can't become a vaporeon like I have always dreamed about. Just let me enjoy being an eevee for a while longer. You understand that, don't you?" Saliva caught in my throat as I realised that my plan was not nearly as foolproof as I once thought. I looked at her, nearly pleading, and she looked back at me with the same expression.
"Alright, Myst. But only and only because I love you. I..." At this moment, I sensed someone at the mouth of the cave, sneaking up on the two of us. I squinted to see who it was. It was Jolt standing at the door!
"Hey what are the two of you doing here!? How come there're only five evolution stones?" Jolt stared accusingly at me. He placed a paw on the pile, counting which ones were left before staring at me with an expression fit to kill. "Cheater! Even in love you refuse to fight fair!"
"Wha...What are you talking about, Jolt?" I stuttered, trying to cover up my selfish act.
"You darn well know that when eevees use the umbreon and espeon evolution stones they have to mate with one another. Is this some kind of cheap ploy to get Myst to make with you? Can't you even keep your cock in your sheath for just a while longer? I love Myst but I understand that she feels as strongly about you as I do have for her, so why are you such an impatient...idiot?" Myst looked up at the two of us, confused.
"What's this about a mating ritual? My teachers have never said anything about that..." Ignoring her, the two of us continued to bicker.
"Don't spout this nonsense!" I roared, leaping at my own brother with claws unsheathed. Jolt, completely caught by surprise, had too little time to evade my blow. My sharp claws slit through his neck like water, and Jolt fell to the side, a sick gurgling noise bubbling from his throat. In horror, I looked at my paws and whimpered as I regretted it immediately. Myst looked at me, backing against the cave wall in fear. "Myst...it's okay...Jolt's still alive..."
Myst shook her head violently, screaming at me. "It's not okay! Jolt was your brother for Night's sake! You killed your blood brother! Get away from me you monster!" I approached her slowly, my front paws leaving bloodied footprints on the cave floor, while she curled up and started to cry. Time froze around me, and Archaxis was by my side once more.
"What's it like to kill somebody for once? Pretty easy huh? And you blamed me for killing off your pack! How long will it be before your soul is as poisoned as mine, and we can call each other brothers in blood. Not because we are biologically related, but because we bathe together, in our victim's blood!" I slumped my shoulders and snarled.
"I will never become you, Archaxis! I will not let my soul be stained with killings any longer. From now on I will not kill another of my friends or even enemies! I promise, Night, I won't abuse your power." Archaxis cackled loudly, and in anger I turned on him, slashing blindly at him with my paws. I raked the side of his ribs, drawing blood, but all Archaxis did was to laugh even harder than before. "What's so funny, Archaxis? Aren't you afraid of dying?"
"Try me, then!" He laughed violently again, like a hyena. In frustration, I slammed my paw onto his chest, and he coughed blood as his heart stopped. Then, I retracted my paw in fury again as I realised that I had just taken another life. Then, Archaxis coughed more blood, and he got to his paws slowly but steadily. "Aye, that was a hard blow that was. If I couldn't regenerate my body I would be dead. Still, at least I got the chance to say hello to Giratina down there for a while! And he was glad to see me, though I jumped on our rather delayed appointment once more."Chapter End Notes:I'll finish this sooner or later
