Chapter 8
I knocked on Bob's door and waited. A few seconds later, the door opened. Bob welcomed us and we walked in to see Jack, Zan, Agatha, Blaze and Barbon all standing around in the living room, talking amongst them selves. I went to walk into the room to join them until Bob asked,
"So who's your friend?"
I turned to him.
"This is Slash. She's agreed to come with us. She's powerful, I've seen what she can do."
Bob smiled.
"I'm glad to hear that. We should do this easily!"
I breathed deep.
"Yeah, let's hope so."
Bob held his hand out to Slash.
"I'm Bob by the way."
She shook his hand and Jack called us into the living room. I walked in and introduced everyone to Slash. Blaze picked me up and hugged me tight.
"Gill, don't do anything stupid, okay?"
I nodded and laughed a bit.
"You can count on me."
Agatha interrupted.
"Don't worry, Gill can handle himself. I'm sure he can."
Then Barbon interrupted.
"Are you kidding? You should have seen what he and Jack did to that group of hooligans in my bar a few weeks back! We never saw them again!"
Jack laughed.
"Yeah that was fun! Anyway should we wait around for it to get dark or go right now?"
I thought to myself for a moment and answered.
"I think we can wait for a few hours for it to get dark. If we leave in an hour or two, it should start getting dark by the time we get there anyway. But, either way, I can guarantee they'll be ready for us."
Zan had found himself staring at Slash's chest. She spotted him and he quickly looked away, blushing slightly. Meanwhile, we were trying to think of what to do for the time being, having gotten ready so prematurely. We decided to put on a movie as we couldn't think of anything else to do. We watched the first two Rambo films and of coerce, laughed like hell at all the dying they contained. I couldn't help but notice Zan constantly staring at Slash's chest, though.
After watching all the mindless violence, we decided it was time to go as it would be getting dark soon. We started walking and Agatha began to speak.
"I'm curious, would the big-titted Blaziken answer a question?"
Blaze replied.
"I suppose so."
Agatha continued with her question.
"You say you attacked Gill and Zan and they let you live? Had the choice been mine, there would be nothing left of you."
Blaze gulped at the thought.
"I suppose that's the difference between you and Gill. Gill is a very sweet guy, and it was a smart move to accept the help of his former enemy. If Giovanni has set up any of his tricks or traps, I'll know."
Of coerce, this made me feel even better, and I stepped into the conversation.
"That's interesting and very helpful, but I have a question, Agatha. Could no one persuade Lucy to come?"
"Believe it or not, she wanted to come but I wouldn't let her. We'll be fine. Don't you worry about that. I refuse to run the risk of any harm coming to Lucy."
I was surprised as well as disappointed.
"I can understand that, I guess."
Blaze added her opinion.
"I feel the same way about Gill but you have to respect the choices your friends make."
Agatha replied.
"That is up to you. If Gill gets hurt or, even killed tonight, how would you feel? Would you take responsibility?"
"Words can't describe how I would feel. And, yes, I would take full responsibility. That aside, I believe in Gill and I believe he can count on us, his friends not to let him down."
I interrupted.
"This is really nice to hear and all, but could we steer away from the possibility of Gill getting hurt?"
Blaze smiled.
"Sorry, sweetie. We didn't mean to worry you. But you heard what I said, right? Nothing's going to happen to you. I won't let it."
Barbon added to the conversation.
"Yeah, don't worry, man. We're all gonna look out for each other. It'll all turn out okay. You'll see."
I breathed deep as we had reached the tower which contained our final confrontation.
"I'm glad you guys are with me. Are we all ready for this?"
Everyone responded positively at the same time. I looked at the tower in the middle of the wilderness and noticed two Nidoking standing guard.
"Damn, looks like they've upgraded."
Agatha laughed.
"I wouldn't worry about those two. I could destroy them both before they have time to regret anything!"
I laughed as we all had a great deal of confidence in what she just said. Meanwhile, the two Nidoking were having their own conversation.
"...Yeah she was Mammoth's granddaughter but, she was worth it, I'm telling you."
The other one grunted in jealousy.
"You lucky son of bitch. You'd just better pray that Mammoth guy never finds out."
The other Nidoking laughed.
"What do I care? I could kick his ass anytime."
"I hope you're right about that. Anyway, what'll we do if the others failed and that Gill guy comes back? I heard he's bigger than the two of us put together."
The other one smiled.
"Try not to get suckered in by those rumours. I'll bet he's just a midget with a bit of backup is all."
Agatha laughed quite randomly.
"Shall I go at them? If anything goes wrong, you guys can take 'em by surprise."
I hesitated but of coerce, my mind wasn't the only one working. Barbon piped up.
"I'll go with you; they've got no chance that way."
Agatha nodded.
"...Fine. Let's go."
They approached the two Nidoking and one of them shouted,
"Oh, shit! Is that Mammoth?"
The other one slapped him across the back of the head.
"She's got tits, you fucking idiot! You two have a choice. You've come here to join us, or get killed. A few hours ago, I'd tell you to go inside and talk to our receptionist, but it's too late now and everyone's out at work. So you'll have to come back tomorrow, otherwise, you've come here to get murdered. So which one is it?"
Agatha smiled.
"We're here to end this, and I think WE have the upper hand, boys."
They both gulped, terrified by Agatha. They even seemed to forget about Barbon. Then, the meaner one shouted,
"We're gonna kick your ass, bitch!"
He ran at her and attempted a punch but she grabbed his fist with her claw and squeezed hard. Blood dripped out of his hand as he cried out in pain. The second Nidoking jumped at her and landed both of his feet in her face. She flew back and fell onto her back. Barbon acted quickly and jump kicked the second one in the face, then whaling him in the stomach with a straight punch, winding him. Agatha stood up as the first one tried to claw at Barbon and punched him in the face, breaking his jaw. She then stamped on his chest a good few times, killing him. She then uppercut the winded one in the jaw, knocking him down. He began to scream in fear.
"No! Please! Just let me go! I beg you!"
She laughed at him.
"Pathetic man! Die!"
She lifted her foot up over his face and he screamed even louder, desperate not to die. She placed her foot on his face and pressed down, giggling at his cries of agony and his head slowly smashed beneath her foot, covering the ground around him in blood and brains. Barbon laughed at her brutal way of settling a fight and we all ran to them, also laughing our asses off. I looked up at her.
"Ready to go inside?"
She nodded.
"Ready when you are."
I gulped and slowly approached the huge double doors before throwing them open.
I walked in, followed by the others into the lobby. It was quiet, just like last time. I looked at the elevator behind the receptionist desk and then at the stairs behind it.
"Should we split up to get rid of more of them?"
I heard a few yeses and no's come from behind me. I turned around to the others.
"I think we should. Who else does?"
Bob, Jack, Slash and Barbon raised their hands. I looked at Zan, Blaze and Agatha.
"Sorry guys, but it looks like you're outvoted."
Bob replied,
"Okay, Gill. Which way are you going? And who are you taking with you?"
I thought hard to myself.
"I'll take the elevator."
Zan spoke.
"So who's going with you?"
As I was about to make my decision, Blaze interrupted.
"Gill, I strongly request that you take me with you."
I thought for another second.
"Okay, Slash, Barbon and Blaze, let's go."
They nodded and we walked towards the elevator and I looked back to speak to them.
"We'll try and get the top as fast as possible to meet up with you."
Agatha was frowning as she wanted to go with me.
"Just be careful, Gill. Blaze, watch him. Guard him with your life."
"I will, Agatha."
Bob grunted.
"No one ever gets protective of me like that..."
Agatha looked down at him.
"Don't worry, sweetie. I won't let anything happen to you either."
Bob blushed.
"Thanks, Agatha..."
I smiled. And walked towards the elevator again, followed by the others and shouted,
"Good luck, you guys!"
Jack shouted back,
"You too, man!"
I pressed the button next to the door and it opened. I took a deep breath and walked through. Slash, Barbon and Blaze followed me and the door slammed shut behind us.
I stared in surprise to see a long, wide corridor in front of us and Barbon spoke.
"Looks like this wasn't an elevator after all, but I'll bet there's on behind that door at the end."
I looked behind us at the closed door.
"Yeah, let's go find out."
We began to make our way to the other end of the corridor, but as we made it about half way, we were taken incredibly by surprise. Something jumped out from behind one of the pillars that were lined up along the walls. I looked at it and my jaw dropped when I realized who it was. It was the Zangoose that I had sent flying out of the window at the end of our first adventure. Her legs and left arm were in tact, but the rest of her was made completely of metal. She smiled at me.
"I've been waiting for you, Gill! This will be our very last encounter!"
I stared in shock, unable to get any words out. Slash spoke.
"My god, is this a friend of yours? What happened to her?"
"It's a long story, his one's mine. This needs to be settled with just the two of us."
Slash stared at me as if I was an idiot.
"No way, Gill. Don't even think about it! I won't let you face her alone!"
I clenched my fist.
"Fine, let's just get this over with. Just watch my back."
Without saying anything else, I ran at her. She got ready to defend herself, but to her surprise, I slide tackled her, knocking her off of her feet. I stood quickly and stamped on her, cracking her metal back slightly. She got to her feet and jumped me, pinning me to the ground. I looked up at her and spat in her face. Before anything else could happen, Barbon kicked her, sending her flying into the door at the opposite end of the corridor. She shot a couple of fireballs out of her mouth as Slash ran over to her but she managed to avoid them. I shouted,
"Yeah, why not give the ability to shoot fire too!"
The bitch then stood up quickly and kicked Slash in the face. As Slash flew towards me, I stood up and jumped over her before drop kicking the Zangoose in the face. She hit the door again and I stamped on her head when she hit the floor. I jumped back and when she stood, Barbon rushed her and punched her in the jaw, hard. She fell to the floor and then sweep kicked Barbon, knocking him down. By this point, Slash had gotten back up and was charging at her. She leapt at her and landed both of her feet in her face, casing her face to crack a bit. She fell to the floor and Blaze stamped on her head, causing the head to crack more. I moved back again and when she got back on her feet, I lunged at her and punched her as hard as I possibly could, smashing the right side of her face. Now I could see her brain. Most of it was there, but the rest was metal and wires. I punched it as hard as possible and it smashed into pieces. She flew backwards and landed on her back, pieces of her brain everywhere. I yelled,
"And don't come back again!"
Blaze grabbed me and hugged me tight.
"Gill, are you okay?"
I laughed in response.
"Of coerce. Nothing to it."
Barbon looked at the door.
"Alright, let's see what's behind this damned thing."
He pressed the button on the right side of it and, seconds later, the door opened, revealing the inside of an elevator! We all stepped inside and I pressed the button on the side of the door and the door closed and the elevator began to move up.
The elevator had no walls and no ceiling, just one ledge moving up a long shaft. The elevator moved up for a few seconds and then stopped. Two Machop jumped down from the top of the shaft onto the elevator. Barbon saw them coming, and as soon as the dropped down, he threw his fist straight into the nearest Machop's face. His face was smashed and he flew back, into the wall, causing the back of his head to shatter. The second one jumped at Blaze but she grabbed him and gripped his face tight with one hand and slammed his head into the wall, smashing it open. I laughed due to my sadistic sense of humour and the elevator began to move up again. A few seconds later, we were half way up the shaft and the elevator stopped. A Nidoking jumped down, causing the elevator to shake a bit. Slash, Barbon and I noticed Blaze and the Nidoking staring furiously at one another, it was obvious they were former partners and the Nidoking was pissed off at her for betraying him and the syndicate. We stood back to let them settle it and Blaze jumped up, landing both of her feet in his face. He hit the wall and fell to his knees. He stood up and threw a punch at her, but she grabbed his arm and struck a heavy blow on his elbow with her own, breaking his arm. He held his arm, roaring in pain and she used a Fire Punch on his face. He fell to the floor, his face badly burned and bleeding. He looked up at her in terror.
"No! Please! I was just kidding!"
She pretended he didn't even say anything and lifted her foot over his face and smiled before crushing his head beneath it. The elevator began to move again and I breathed a heavy sigh.
"What next? Surely they can't get any bigger..."
Then, the elevator stopped and we had but a quarter of the way to go. I thought about what I had previously said and, as fate would have it, a fucking Aggron, who, strangely enough had dark green skin instead of grey and golden armour instead of white dropped down, cracking the elevator somewhat, which, of coerce had us all worried, but it didn't get any worse. He smiled at me and I shouted,
"Oh, fuck me!"
The Aggron laughed.
"If you're lucky enough to survive, I will!"
Blaze stepped in front of me.
"You won't touch him, Krauser!"
He smiled seductively at her.
"Fine, I'll have you instead!"
She growled at him and Double Kicked him. He staggered backwards into the wall, holding his ribs in pain, having been hit directly by his weakness. He roared at her and punched her in the face, hard. She fell on her ass, holding her face. I gulped as it looked as though our most capable fighter was too weak to even match him, even with her elemental advantage. She moaned in pain and I saw a tear slip through her fingers, and that's what did it. I could feel myself losing control as I just filled with anger. I looked up at the Aggron who towered above me. I'm glad I couldn't see my own face because the Aggron suddenly looked as though he was about to shit himself. I roared at him.
"YOU COCK SUCKING BASTARD!"
I leapt towards him and threw my fist into his gut with more force than I had ever used before. I pulled my fist back and watched him fall to his knees. His eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets. I whaled him across the face, cracking his iron face a little and causing my knuckles to bleed. The others stared in absolute shock and I whaled him again, knocking him down onto his hands and knees. He looked up at me, groaning in pain and a tear came out of his eye. I kicked him in the face as hard as I could, knocking him onto his back and stamped on his chest. He roared in pain and Blaze got back on her feet and walked over to him. I stared down at him and he began to whimper in fear at us both. I lifted my foot up, thinking about all the times I had ever fought Aggron in the Pokémon games and yelled,
"You're easier to beat in real life than you are in that fucking game, you no good piece of shit!"
I stamped on his chest, breaking one of his ribs. He rolled around, roaring incredibly loud and Blaze laughed as she enjoyed every second of it. I was being overwhelmed by the anger Krauser had caused me combined with the anger I caused myself by making him suffer like this.
"Blaze, I don't want him to suffer anymore. Please, just do something."
She calmed down and stopped laughing at him. She then lifted her foot over his face and spoke to him in a soft tone.
"Go to sleep now, Krauser."
He screamed in horror and she slammed her foot down, smashing his face beneath it.
I took a deep breath and relaxed. Blaze put one hand on my shoulder as the elevator began to move up again.
"I'm so proud of you, Gill."
I smiled and looked up as the elevator was nearly at the top of the shaft.
"Thanks, Blaze. Let's get ready for this!"
The elevator reached the top of the shaft and we were in the room where it all ended last time. With perfect timing, as soon as we were in the room, doors on the one side of the room flew open and the rest of our group walked in and Jack yelled,
"You guys okay? We had a tough time getting here but everyone's fine!"
I smiled.
"Good to hear! Yeah, we're all good!"
They walked over to us and we all turned to face the back of the room where Giovanni's chair was, and, there he was. He looked well considering what I did to him last time and his wretched Lucario bodyguard had also recovered. He smiled evilly at me.
"Welcome to my humble abode. I've been expecting you. Tell me, Gill, what kept you?"
I shouted across the room at him.
"Enough of your games! What's going on?"
He replied, still smiling.
"It's quite simple. I was brought back to life by someone...more resourceful than myself."
"Where is he?!"
"Relax. You'll meet him in time, provided you can get past me again. I assure you, it won't be as easy this time."
"Bring it on!"
He laughed and snapped his fingers. The Lucario stepped forward and grinned at me. Of coerce, I wanted to beat him on my own again. I looked back at the others and before I could say anything, Jack said,
"Go for it, we'll have your back."
I smiled and nodded before stepping forward. The Lucario glared at me.
"I'm gonna kick your ass! All your friends are about to watch your death!"
I spat onto the floor.
"I beg to differ. Your brains'll be carpet when I'm done with you!"
Without shouting any more abuse at me, he ran and jumped into the air and tried to drop kick me. I jumped to the side just in time. He landed on the floor and I pulled my fist back and threw it into the back of his head. He cried out and rolled along the floor. He got to his feet as I leapt at him but didn't react quickly enough. I drop kicked him in the face, knocking him down again. He got up and jumped to the side as I threw a punch at him. He grabbed a hold of me and kneed me in the stomach twice, then vaulted over my shoulders so that he had me from behind and lifted my up and threw me to the floor. I got up and grabbed him. I threw him over my shoulders but her landed on his feet and flipped me off. I ran at him but he jumped up and kicked me in the face before I could do anything. I fell on my ass and wiped the blood from around my mouth. He yelled at me.
"Stand up!"
I struggled to my feet and waited for him. He ran at me and tried to spin kick me. I ducked it and wrapped my arm around his leg. I quickly wrapped my other arm around his other leg and lifted him into the air. He screamed,
"Oh shit!"
I ran as fast as I possibly could and leaned forward so his head was sticking out. I ran straight into the wall smashing his head hard. I threw him off of myself and he rolled along the floor, lying unconscious. Giovanni clapped.
"Congratulations, but he's still alive. I'm disappointed."
I screamed at him.
"You know I wasn't trying to kill him! I'm not like you!"
He frowned at me.
"It's as if you're TRYING to disappoint me!"
"Maybe I am! And now it's your turn, asshole!"
He got up out of his chair, smiling at me.
"I agree. Prepare yourself!"
I looked back at all my friends, still standing about half of the room's length away from me. I gulped, not wanting to face him on my own.
"Give me some fucking back up!"
Everyone ran over to me. Jack, Slash and Blaze made it over first, being the fastest ones of the group, but before the others could make it over, a line of very tall spears shot out of the ground, leaving Bob, Barbon, Agatha and Zan stuck on the other side. It was just the four of us and Giovanni. Agatha tried to bend the spears but had no luck which only raised the question "what the hell were those things made of?"
Bob yelled,
"Gill! Kick his ass!"
Giovanni let out a robotic laugh and suddenly, fire covered his body. A few seconds passed and the fire disappeared, revealing a skeletal-looking robot. Blaze was the only one who didn't seem surprised. Before the robot could do anything, she ran and grabbed him before suplexing him, hitting his head on the floor, hard. I leapt at it as it stood up and jump kicked it in the face. It staggered backwards and Slash jumped on it's face and slashed it a good few times with her claws. Suddenly, a field of electricity covered Robot. G's Body, shocking her. She fell to the floor and Jack ran at Robot. G and stabbed it threw one of it's eye sockets, destroying it's one eye. It punched Jack across the face and knocked him down. I charged at it and speared it into the wall next to the chair. I then punched it across the face but it grabbed me and threw me away from itself. Blaze leapt at it and kicked it's face very hard, smashing one side of it. It swung at her but she grabbed it's arm and pulled it as hard as she could, ripping it out of it's socket. She whacked Robot. G with the arm, smashing it up quite badly. She dropped the arm and grabbed it's other arm and threw Robot. G over her shoulder. It flew into the air, over the floor spears and landed onto the elevator that we came up on which had previously been cracked by Krauser and it smashed completely. Robot. G fell from top to bottom of the shaft and smashed into pieces on the lower level. The spears that came out of the floor retracted, allowing us to get to the elevator shaft. We ran to it and we all gathered around it and looked down at the smashed up robot on the floor. A voice emitted from the robot's mouth. It was the real Giovanni talking to us through the robot from another room.
"I see you continue to destroy what I create. Continue onward if you wish to reach me. You will not defeat my other robots so easily. Blaze knows this model was an early prototype."
The light emitting from the robot's eyes faded and Blaze spoke.
"He's right, Gill. The other robots are probably finished. We'll need to give it our all to get past them."
I nodded and looked around.
"But...Where is he? We've got nowhere else to go. This is it."
Blaze walked over to Giovanni's large stone chair.
"You shouldn't give up so easily, Gill. Agatha, can you get this chair out of the way?"
Agatha cracked her knuckles.
"Not a problem!"
She walked over to the chair and grabbed it tight.
"Watch yourselves!"
We all moved out of the way and she roared as she threw it over her shoulders. It flew across the room and fell down the elevator shaft, crushing what was left of Robot. G. We all looked at where the chair used to be and saw a whole in the wall, leading to a long, dark corridor. We laughed a bit and walked on through.
The corridor on the other side of the hole was kind of scary. There were no windows, it was lit up only by a few torches lined up along both walls and there wasn't any nice blood-red carpet on the floor, just dark stone bricks everywhere, giving it a dungeon sort of feel. It felt more like a dungeon when I noticed a skeleton or two chained to the walls by their wrists and ankles. I tried to pretend they didn't exist as we walked past them. Before long, we heard a strange repeating sound. It sounded like metal bouncing along the ground. I stopped and gulped. Blaze spoke to us.
"Everyone, get ready!"
We got ready for whatever was coming and, finally, it cam into view. It was four robots about my height. They had two legs but no arms. They hadn't got anything like a head either, just a round top with a little hole on it, presumably what they used to see through. I smiled as they didn't look very threatening. Luckily, the corridor was wide, giving us a lot of room to fight in. The four robots lined up and Blaze yelled,
"Get down!"
We both dropped to the ground and the others stuck to the walls as the tops of the robots flipped open like Playstations and a small laser beam shot out of each one. Luckily, we all reacted in time and the lasers flew right past us. The robots then started to hop towards us. Blaze ran at them and punched the closest one to her. Her fist went straight through it's thin shell and it fell dead at her feet. Before the next closest one could attack her, she grabbed it and threw it behind her. It flew into the other two and smashed them apart before hitting the wall. The robot was just about still intact and jumped up, kicking Blaze in the face. She fell back a little and growled before using Blaze Kick. Her flaming foot struck the robot and reduced it to a pile of burning scrap metal.
"They're not so tough, but there'll be more of them."
I laughed.
"Well let them come. I bet you can take 'em on your own."
She smiled as we continued to move down the corridor and Agatha spoke.
"Let me take the next bunch."
Blaze smiled and nodded.
"Okay then."
She moved aside as Agatha took the front with me. Moments later we heard the sound of more robots coming. She smiled and got herself ready and they came into view. I couldn't count them since there were so many and they were hopping around so much but I think there was about seven or eight of them. It's a good thing Agatha took the lead when she did. They were only about half an inch taller than me so they were no match for her at all. She ran at them and span around, smashing about four of them into pieces with her tail. One of them quickly flipped it's lid open and fired a laser beam at her. She didn't move fast enough and it hit her. Her body was covered with electricity and she screamed loudly before falling to her knees. I may be sick for saying this but her scream was quite arousing. Blaze and I quickly ran to her aid. Blaze kicked one of them a few times, smashing it up and threw what was left of it into the nearest one, destroying them both. I punched the closest one to me in the face, or where the face should have been a few times, denting it and Bob jumped over me, landing both of his feet into it with quite some force, knocking it into the wall. It fell to it's knees and collapsed. Barbon charged the last one and put his fist straight through it, destroying it instantly. We ran to Agatha who was just getting back on her feet. Smoke was coming off of every inch of her body.
"That...Hurt."
I hugged her tight.
"Are you okay?"
She smiled.
"I'm fine, don't worry."
Blaze sighed.
"Thank God. Let's keep going. We're not far now."
We carried on for a minute or two when we heard that noise again. We stopped in our tracks and waited. The next robots came into view and, thankfully, there were only four this time. Blaze smiled.
"Let me take these ones."
She ran in between the two middle robots and jumped up, throwing one foot to each side. Her feet went through the robots on either side of her and they fell into heaps on the floor. She turned to the one remaining on her right and punched it hard, destroying it with ease. The one now behind her kicked her in the ass, knocking her against the wall. I ran at it and speared it, taking it to the ground. I punched it's face repeatedly until I had smashed through it's face completely. I stood up and turned around to see Agatha helping Blaze to her feet. I turned around again and we started walking one last time. Before long, we came to a door. I put my hand on the knob and got ready to turn it when Blaze said,
"I hope we're ready for this..."
Agatha laughed.
"Of coerce we are. We can take anything that's behind that door!"
I gulped.
"I hope you're right."
I turned the knob and opened the door, entering the final room of the evil lair.
We all walked into the room and looked around. The room was huge and it was round. The walls were made of glass and there were a lot of bolts of electricity flying around behind them. At the opposite end of the room, there was a pedestal with a glass phial on top of it. I took a good look at it and noticed there was a brain floating in water inside it. A voice emitted from the pedestal.
"I see you've made it, after destroying all of my robots!"
I yelled,
"Giovanni! So you weren't revived!"
He laughed.
"Correct! I was not revived, I was salvaged by my master!"
I screamed,
"Just surrender! You're completely helpless!"
"That's where you're wrong, handsome one. And now you've destroyed all of my robots, the key to my plan, the land will pay for your meddling, big time! "Just give up! Do you really expect to run the land from a glass phial?"

Just then, a blinding light filled the centre area of the room and I noticed the shape of a figure appearing from the light. A screen hung down from the ceiling above Giovanni displaying a timer which was counting down from thirty minutes. The light disappeared and the figure was now standing in front of us. It was the legendary Mewtwo, covered in his armour! Mewtwo attacked immediately, sending a ball of energy flying at us. We dived out of the way and it hit the wall behind us. We had all now singled off from one another and Mewtwo looked at me and fired another energy ball at me. I dived again and as I stood, he fired a third one at me. I dived a third time, barely making it out of the way. Mewtwo had drained him self of his energy and he stood still as his body covered with a bright blue aura while he recharged his energy. I took this opportunity and ran directly at him. I whaled him in the gut and across the face a few times. He disappeared right in front of my eyes. He reappeared behind me and kicked me hard, knocking me face down on the floor. I got up quickly and turned around to see Mewtwo get tackled by Agatha. She knocked him down and stamped on him. He teleported behind me again and I turned around, but as soon as I did, he grabbed me by the throat with both hands and lifted me above the floor, choking me. Jack threw one of his knifes and it landed straight in his hand. He dropped me and Bob jumped at him, punching him in the face as hard as he could, cracking his visor. He grabbed Bob and threw him into Jack, sending them both to the floor. Zan and Slash jumped on him and clawed his chest until Agatha punched Mewtwo square in the chest, sending him bouncing along the floor. Mewtwo sat up and pulled the knife out of his hand.
"Die bitch!"
He threw the knife at Agatha and landed it square in her chest. She screamed in pain and Barbon leapt at Mewtwo and whaled him across the face. During all the commotion, Bob was sitting down out of the way with Agatha.
"Are you okay?"
She smiled.
"You think I'd be beat by a blade of this size. I'll be fine."
She pulled the knife out of her chest.
"He'll pay for that!"
Barbon and I grabbed a hold of Mewtwo and Blaze leapt in the air and Blaze kicked him hard. He hit the ground and Blaze stamped on him. He screamed in pain as most of his ribs were now broken. Agatha shouted,
"Restrain him! Now!"
Bob, Zan and Slash hurried over to us. Barbon, Bob and I grabbed Mewtwo's right arm and held him up while Blaze, Jack, Slash and Zan grabbed his left arm. We held him still and Agatha got back on her feet. She smiled as Mewtwo looked at her in fear, knowing what was about to happen to him.
"No! Maybe we can work something out!"
She yelled,
"Go to hell!"
She threw Jack's knife as hard as her insanely muscled arm would allow her. The knife flew at an insane speed and hit Mewtwo right in the middle of the chest and we all let go of him. He flew into the glass phial that housed Giovanni and smashed it. He fell to the floor dead and the water in the glass phial poured out onto the floor. I looked inside the glass phial and saw the brain drying out with pieces of glass sticking out of it. Giovanni began to beg.
"I'm dying. Please help me."
Zan shouted,
"You've gotta be kidding me!"
"Well, if I die, you die. Good-bye!"
At that moment, a bright red light began to flash on an off, continuously filling the room. Blaze yelled
"He's activated the self-destruct sequence! We need to get out or we will die! I can stop the timer for the bombs around the area but we'll need to evacuate the building fast!"
She threw Giovanni's pedestal out of the way, revealing a machine that was hidden behind it. She shoved her claw in it and ripped a bunch of wires out of it. The timer on the screen was replaced by the word "INTERUPTED!" The bomb threat had been dealt with and we ran out of the room and backtracked all the way out of the building. We ran threw the previous corridor, panicking like all hell and into the room before it. I shouted,
"Shit! The elevator's out! We'll have to take the long way out!"
We began to run out of the door which lead to the corridor just before the exit, but something caught my eye and I stopped as the others ran out. The Lucario, Giovanni's body guard had just woken up and was starting to get on his feet, holding his head.
"Where...What's happening?"
He fell to his knees, holding his head, moaning from an insane headache from what I did to him earlier. I ran over to him and grabbed him, throwing him onto my shoulder.
"Come on, buddy! I've got ya!"
I ran and managed to catch up to the others. I ran down the stairs in the lobby, being extremely careful not to drop the guy on my shoulder. We ran through the lobby and finally, out of the last door, leaving the tower. We continued to run to get away from the tower to avoid it falling on top of us. Once we had reached a safe distance, we stood and watched. There was a huge explosion at the top of the tower and a thick cloud of smoke began to emit from it. Explosions then occurred all over the tower and it collapsed. It was over.
We had won. We finally ended it all. Now we had beaten the syndicate in the early ours of the morning, I reflected on all that time we just spent. And a lot of old memories from our adventure replayed in my mind and I smiled.
"Guys...It's over. It's really over."
The Lucario shouted,
"Put me down already!"
I put him down and he continued to hold his head. He looked at me and smiled.
"I've got no idea why you saved me. You had no reason to."
I smiled.
"I don't need a reason to save someone's life."
He looked at the ground and Blaze slapped him across the face.
"Maybe now you'll be nicer to people!"
He held his face where she hit him.
"I will, I swear. I couldn't be more sorry."
Bob spoke.
"Well, it looks like we can stop worrying now."
Jack smiled.
"Yeah. I knew we could do it."
I turned and looked at everyone.
"Thanks, guys. Really."
Barbon replied.
"You can always count on us, Gill. Don't you worry about that."
I breathed a massive sigh of relief and stretched, yawning loudly.
"Well, I'm almost ready to fall asleep standing. What do you all say we get back to our lives now?"
Everyone smiled and nodded.
We all hugged and shook hands with one another except for the Lucario who stood there like a loner and we began to return to our homes. The Lucario still stood there and tears began to drip down his face.
"Gill... When you destroyed the tower just now, you destroyed my home and the only people who cared about me. What am I going to do?"
I turned to him.
"Come and live with me. There's plenty of room and food at my place."
He looked completely stunned.
"But...your friends must despise me."
Blaze hugged him.
"Everyone deserver's a second chance. If you promise to behave yourself, we'll accept you as our friend. So do you promise to behave your self?"
He nodded.
"I promise, but what will Lucy do to me?"
Agatha stepped forward.
"Don't worry. Just stay out of her sight for a couple of days and I'll smooth things over with her."
He sniffled and Blaze wiped his tears away as he spoke.
"Thank you everyone. Really."
Blaze replied.
"It's okay, little guy."
We all said our good-byes and headed back home.
Bob went back into his house and as the Lucario and I were about to enter my house, we heard Lucy's voice.
"Gill!"
I turned around and she threw her arms around me.
"I'm so glad you're okay!"
"Yeah, I'm glad to see you too."
She kissed me on the cheek and noticed the other Lucario standing there. She growled at him.
"What the hell are you doing here!?"
I interrupted.
"Relax. I saved his life earlier and he's got nothing left. He's living with me now."
She shoved me.
"You never think about me, do you?! Don't expect to see me while he's around!"
I sighed.
"Well if you're making me choose between the two of you, you've got a home and he doesn't, so I've made my decision."
The Lucario added to the conversation.
"Look, I'm not the guy I used to be. Just give me a chance, Lucy. Please. I promise, I've changed."
She clenched her fist.
"Fine! I'll keep an eye on you. You had better keep your word."
He nodded.
"You have my word, Lucy."
She looked at me and then at the Lucario again.
"Well, I'll see you two later. You should get some rest."
She left for her cave in the forest and we went into my house. I threw my dirty and blood-covered clothes off and we climbed into the huge double bed, and, for the first time in ages, I slept well. I had a very pleasant dream. I was in a clearing in a forest somewhere. The sun was shining down brightly and the wind was gentle and refreshing. My ears were filled with the sound of birds singing and I stood there, taking in the moment.
"It's all over. No raping or violence. Just this..."

Jack laughed.
"Yeah that was fun! Anyway should we wait around for it to get dark or go right now?"
I thought to myself for a moment and answered.
"I think we can wait for a few hours for it to get dark. If we leave in an hour or two, it should start getting dark by the time we get there anyway. But, either way, I can guarantee they'll be ready for us."
Zan had found himself staring at Slash's chest. She spotted him and he quickly looked away, blushing slightly. Meanwhile, we were trying to think of what to do for the time being, having gotten ready so prematurely. We decided to put on a movie as we couldn't think of anything else to do. We watched the first two Rambo films and of coerce, laughed like hell at all the dying they contained. I couldn't help but notice Zan constantly staring at Slash's chest, though.
After watching all the mindless violence, we decided it was time to go as it would be getting dark soon. We started walking and Agatha began to speak.
"I'm curious, would the big-titted Blaziken answer a question?"
Blaze replied.
"I suppose so."
Agatha continued with her question.
"You say you attacked Gill and Zan and they let you live? Had the choice been mine, there would be nothing left of you."
Blaze gulped at the thought.
"I suppose that's the difference between you and Gill. Gill is a very sweet guy, and it was a smart move to accept the help of his former enemy. If Giovanni has set up any of his tricks or traps, I'll know."
Of coerce, this made me feel even better, and I stepped into the conversation.
"That's interesting and very helpful, but I have a question, Agatha. Could no one persuade Lucy to come?"
"Believe it or not, she wanted to come but I wouldn't let her. We'll be fine. Don't you worry about that. I refuse to run the risk of any harm coming to Lucy."
I was surprised as well as disappointed.
"I can understand that, I guess."
Blaze added her opinion.
"I feel the same way about Gill but you have to respect the choices your friends make."
Agatha replied.
"That is up to you. If Gill gets hurt or, even killed tonight, how would you feel? Would you take responsibility?"
"Words can't describe how I would feel. And, yes, I would take full responsibility. That aside, I believe in Gill and I believe he can count on us, his friends not to let him down."
I interrupted.
"This is really nice to hear and all, but could we steer away from the possibility of Gill getting hurt?"
Blaze smiled.
"Sorry, sweetie. We didn't mean to worry you. But you heard what I said, right? Nothing's going to happen to you. I won't let it."
Barbon added to the conversation.
"Yeah, don't worry, man. We're all gonna look out for each other. It'll all turn out okay. You'll see."
I breathed deep as we had reached the tower which contained our final confrontation.
"I'm glad you guys are with me. Are we all ready for this?"
Everyone responded positively at the same time. I looked at the tower in the middle of the wilderness and noticed two Nidoking standing guard.
"Damn, looks like they've upgraded."
Agatha laughed.
"I wouldn't worry about those two. I could destroy them both before they have time to regret anything!"
I laughed as we all had a great deal of confidence in what she just said. Meanwhile, the two Nidoking were having their own conversation.
"...Yeah she was Mammoth's granddaughter but, she was worth it, I'm telling you."
The other one grunted in jealousy.
"You lucky son of bitch. You'd just better pray that Mammoth guy never finds out."
The other Nidoking laughed.
"What do I care? I could kick his ass anytime."
"I hope you're right about that. Anyway, what'll we do if the others failed and that Gill guy comes back? I heard he's bigger than the two of us put together."
The other one smiled.
"Try not to get suckered in by those rumours. I'll bet he's just a midget with a bit of backup is all."
Agatha laughed quite randomly.
"Shall I go at them? If anything goes wrong, you guys can take 'em by surprise."
I hesitated but of coerce, my mind wasn't the only one working. Barbon piped up.
"I'll go with you; they've got no chance that way."
Agatha nodded.
"...Fine. Let's go."
They approached the two Nidoking and one of them shouted,
"Oh, shit! Is that Mammoth?"
The other one slapped him across the back of the head.
"She's got tits, you fucking idiot! You two have a choice. You've come here to join us, or get killed. A few hours ago, I'd tell you to go inside and talk to our receptionist, but it's too late now and everyone's out at work. So you'll have to come back tomorrow, otherwise, you've come here to get murdered. So which one is it?"
Agatha smiled.
"We're here to end this, and I think WE have the upper hand, boys."
They both gulped, terrified by Agatha. They even seemed to forget about Barbon. Then, the meaner one shouted,
"We're gonna kick your ass, bitch!"
He ran at her and attempted a punch but she grabbed his fist with her claw and squeezed hard. Blood dripped out of his hand as he cried out in pain. The second Nidoking jumped at her and landed both of his feet in her face. She flew back and fell onto her back. Barbon acted quickly and jump kicked the second one in the face, then whaling him in the stomach with a straight punch, winding him. Agatha stood up as the first one tried to claw at Barbon and punched him in the face, breaking his jaw. She then stamped on his chest a good few times, killing him. She then uppercut the winded one in the jaw, knocking him down. He began to scream in fear.
"No! Please! Just let me go! I beg you!"
She laughed at him.
"Pathetic man! Die!"
She lifted her foot up over his face and he screamed even louder, desperate not to die. She placed her foot on his face and pressed down, giggling at his cries of agony and his head slowly smashed beneath her foot, covering the ground around him in blood and brains. Barbon laughed at her brutal way of settling a fight and we all ran to them, also laughing our asses off. I looked up at her.
"Ready to go inside?"
She nodded.
"Ready when you are."
I gulped and slowly approached the huge double doors before throwing them open.
I walked in, followed by the others into the lobby. It was quiet, just like last time. I looked at the elevator behind the receptionist desk and then at the stairs behind it.
"Should we split up to get rid of more of them?"
I heard a few yeses and no's come from behind me. I turned around to the others.
"I think we should. Who else does?"
Bob, Jack, Slash and Barbon raised their hands. I looked at Zan, Blaze and Agatha.
"Sorry guys, but it looks like you're outvoted."
Bob replied,
"Okay, Gill. Which way are you going? And who are you taking with you?"
I thought hard to myself.
"I'll take the elevator."
Zan spoke.
"So who's going with you?"
As I was about to make my decision, Blaze interrupted.
"Gill, I strongly request that you take me with you."
I thought for another second.
"Okay, Slash, Barbon and Blaze, let's go."
They nodded and we walked towards the elevator and I looked back to speak to them.
"We'll try and get the top as fast as possible to meet up with you."
Agatha was frowning as she wanted to go with me.
"Just be careful, Gill. Blaze, watch him. Guard him with your life."
"I will, Agatha."
Bob grunted.
"No one ever gets protective of me like that..."
Agatha looked down at him.
"Don't worry, sweetie. I won't let anything happen to you either."
Bob blushed.
"Thanks, Agatha..."
I smiled. And walked towards the elevator again, followed by the others and shouted,
"Good luck, you guys!"
Jack shouted back,
"You too, man!"
I pressed the button next to the door and it opened. I took a deep breath and walked through. Slash, Barbon and Blaze followed me and the door slammed shut behind us.
I stared in surprise to see a long, wide corridor in front of us and Barbon spoke.
"Looks like this wasn't an elevator after all, but I'll bet there's on behind that door at the end."
I looked behind us at the closed door.
"Yeah, let's go find out."
We began to make our way to the other end of the corridor, but as we made it about half way, we were taken incredibly by surprise. Something jumped out from behind one of the pillars that were lined up along the walls. I looked at it and my jaw dropped when I realized who it was. It was the Zangoose that I had sent flying out of the window at the end of our first adventure. Her legs and left arm were in tact, but the rest of her was made completely of metal. She smiled at me.
"I've been waiting for you, Gill! This will be our very last encounter!"
I stared in shock, unable to get any words out. Slash spoke.
"My god, is this a friend of yours? What happened to her?"
"It's a long story, his one's mine. This needs to be settled with just the two of us."
Slash stared at me as if I was an idiot.
"No way, Gill. Don't even think about it! I won't let you face her alone!"
I clenched my fist.
"Fine, let's just get this over with. Just watch my back."
Without saying anything else, I ran at her. She got ready to defend herself, but to her surprise, I slide tackled her, knocking her off of her feet. I stood quickly and stamped on her, cracking her metal back slightly. She got to her feet and jumped me, pinning me to the ground. I looked up at her and spat in her face. Before anything else could happen, Barbon kicked her, sending her flying into the door at the opposite end of the corridor. She shot a couple of fireballs out of her mouth as Slash ran over to her but she managed to avoid them. I shouted,
"Yeah, why not give the ability to shoot fire too!"
The bitch then stood up quickly and kicked Slash in the face. As Slash flew towards me, I stood up and jumped over her before drop kicking the Zangoose in the face. She hit the door again and I stamped on her head when she hit the floor. I jumped back and when she stood, Barbon rushed her and punched her in the jaw, hard. She fell to the floor and then sweep kicked Barbon, knocking him down. By this point, Slash had gotten back up and was charging at her. She leapt at her and landed both of her feet in her face, casing her face to crack a bit. She fell to the floor and Blaze stamped on her head, causing the head to crack more. I moved back again and when she got back on her feet, I lunged at her and punched her as hard as I possibly could, smashing the right side of her face. Now I could see her brain. Most of it was there, but the rest was metal and wires. I punched it as hard as possible and it smashed into pieces. She flew backwards and landed on her back, pieces of her brain everywhere. I yelled,
"And don't come back again!"
Blaze grabbed me and hugged me tight.
"Gill, are you okay?"
I laughed in response.
"Of coerce. Nothing to it."
Barbon looked at the door.
"Alright, let's see what's behind this damned thing."
He pressed the button on the right side of it and, seconds later, the door opened, revealing the inside of an elevator! We all stepped inside and I pressed the button on the side of the door and the door closed and the elevator began to move up.
The elevator had no walls and no ceiling, just one ledge moving up a long shaft. The elevator moved up for a few seconds and then stopped. Two Machop jumped down from the top of the shaft onto the elevator. Barbon saw them coming, and as soon as the dropped down, he threw his fist straight into the nearest Machop's face. His face was smashed and he flew back, into the wall, causing the back of his head to shatter. The second one jumped at Blaze but she grabbed him and gripped his face tight with one hand and slammed his head into the wall, smashing it open. I laughed due to my sadistic sense of humour and the elevator began to move up again. A few seconds later, we were half way up the shaft and the elevator stopped. A Nidoking jumped down, causing the elevator to shake a bit. Slash, Barbon and I noticed Blaze and the Nidoking staring furiously at one another, it was obvious they were former partners and the Nidoking was pissed off at her for betraying him and the syndicate. We stood back to let them settle it and Blaze jumped up, landing both of her feet in his face. He hit the wall and fell to his knees. He stood up and threw a punch at her, but she grabbed his arm and struck a heavy blow on his elbow with her own, breaking his arm. He held his arm, roaring in pain and she used a Fire Punch on his face. He fell to the floor, his face badly burned and bleeding. He looked up at her in terror.
"No! Please! I was just kidding!"
She pretended he didn't even say anything and lifted her foot over his face and smiled before crushing his head beneath it. The elevator began to move again and I breathed a heavy sigh.
"What next? Surely they can't get any bigger..."
Then, the elevator stopped and we had but a quarter of the way to go. I thought about what I had previously said and, as fate would have it, a fucking Aggron, who, strangely enough had dark green skin instead of grey and golden armour instead of white dropped down, cracking the elevator somewhat, which, of coerce had us all worried, but it didn't get any worse. He smiled at me and I shouted,
"Oh, fuck me!"
The Aggron laughed.
"If you're lucky enough to survive, I will!"
Blaze stepped in front of me.
"You won't touch him, Krauser!"
He smiled seductively at her.
"Fine, I'll have you instead!"
She growled at him and Double Kicked him. He staggered backwards into the wall, holding his ribs in pain, having been hit directly by his weakness. He roared at her and punched her in the face, hard. She fell on her ass, holding her face. I gulped as it looked as though our most capable fighter was too weak to even match him, even with her elemental advantage. She moaned in pain and I saw a tear slip through her fingers, and that's what did it. I could feel myself losing control as I just filled with anger. I looked up at the Aggron who towered above me. I'm glad I couldn't see my own face because the Aggron suddenly looked as though he was about to shit himself. I roared at him.
"YOU COCK SUCKING BASTARD!"
I leapt towards him and threw my fist into his gut with more force than I had ever used before. I pulled my fist back and watched him fall to his knees. His eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets. I whaled him across the face, cracking his iron face a little and causing my knuckles to bleed. The others stared in absolute shock and I whaled him again, knocking him down onto his hands and knees. He looked up at me, groaning in pain and a tear came out of his eye. I kicked him in the face as hard as I could, knocking him onto his back and stamped on his chest. He roared in pain and Blaze got back on her feet and walked over to him. I stared down at him and he began to whimper in fear at us both. I lifted my foot up, thinking about all the times I had ever fought Aggron in the Pokémon games and yelled,
"You're easier to beat in real life than you are in that fucking game, you no good piece of shit!"
I stamped on his chest, breaking one of his ribs. He rolled around, roaring incredibly loud and Blaze laughed as she enjoyed every second of it. I was being overwhelmed by the anger Krauser had caused me combined with the anger I caused myself by making him suffer like this.
"Blaze, I don't want him to suffer anymore. Please, just do something."
She calmed down and stopped laughing at him. She then lifted her foot over his face and spoke to him in a soft tone.
"Go to sleep now, Krauser."
He screamed in horror and she slammed her foot down, smashing his face beneath it.
I took a deep breath and relaxed. Blaze put one hand on my shoulder as the elevator began to move up again.
"I'm so proud of you, Gill."
I smiled and looked up as the elevator was nearly at the top of the shaft.
"Thanks, Blaze. Let's get ready for this!"
The elevator reached the top of the shaft and we were in the room where it all ended last time. With perfect timing, as soon as we were in the room, doors on the one side of the room flew open and the rest of our group walked in and Jack yelled,
"You guys okay? We had a tough time getting here but everyone's fine!"
I smiled.
"Good to hear! Yeah, we're all good!"
They walked over to us and we all turned to face the back of the room where Giovanni's chair was, and, there he was. He looked well considering what I did to him last time and his wretched Lucario bodyguard had also recovered. He smiled evilly at me.
"Welcome to my humble abode. I've been expecting you. Tell me, Gill, what kept you?"
I shouted across the room at him.
"Enough of your games! What's going on?"
He replied, still smiling.
"It's quite simple. I was brought back to life by someone...more resourceful than myself."
"Where is he?!"
"Relax. You'll meet him in time, provided you can get past me again. I assure you, it won't be as easy this time."
"Bring it on!"
He laughed and snapped his fingers. The Lucario stepped forward and grinned at me. Of coerce, I wanted to beat him on my own again. I looked back at the others and before I could say anything, Jack said,
"Go for it, we'll have your back."
I smiled and nodded before stepping forward. The Lucario glared at me.
"I'm gonna kick your ass! All your friends are about to watch your death!"
I spat onto the floor.
"I beg to differ. Your brains'll be carpet when I'm done with you!"
Without shouting any more abuse at me, he ran and jumped into the air and tried to drop kick me. I jumped to the side just in time. He landed on the floor and I pulled my fist back and threw it into the back of his head. He cried out and rolled along the floor. He got to his feet as I leapt at him but didn't react quickly enough. I drop kicked him in the face, knocking him down again. He got up and jumped to the side as I threw a punch at him. He grabbed a hold of me and kneed me in the stomach twice, then vaulted over my shoulders so that he had me from behind and lifted my up and threw me to the floor. I got up and grabbed him. I threw him over my shoulders but her landed on his feet and flipped me off. I ran at him but he jumped up and kicked me in the face before I could do anything. I fell on my ass and wiped the blood from around my mouth. He yelled at me.
"Stand up!"
I struggled to my feet and waited for him. He ran at me and tried to spin kick me. I ducked it and wrapped my arm around his leg. I quickly wrapped my other arm around his other leg and lifted him into the air. He screamed,
"Oh shit!"
I ran as fast as I possibly could and leaned forward so his head was sticking out. I ran straight into the wall smashing his head hard. I threw him off of myself and he rolled along the floor, lying unconscious. Giovanni clapped.
"Congratulations, but he's still alive. I'm disappointed."
I screamed at him.
"You know I wasn't trying to kill him! I'm not like you!"
He frowned at me.
"It's as if you're TRYING to disappoint me!"
"Maybe I am! And now it's your turn, asshole!"
He got up out of his chair, smiling at me.
"I agree. Prepare yourself!"
I looked back at all my friends, still standing about half of the room's length away from me. I gulped, not wanting to face him on my own.
"Give me some fucking back up!"
Everyone ran over to me. Jack, Slash and Blaze made it over first, being the fastest ones of the group, but before the others could make it over, a line of very tall spears shot out of the ground, leaving Bob, Barbon, Agatha and Zan stuck on the other side. It was just the four of us and Giovanni. Agatha tried to bend the spears but had no luck which only raised the question "what the hell were those things made of?"
Bob yelled,
"Gill! Kick his ass!"
Giovanni let out a robotic laugh and suddenly, fire covered his body. A few seconds passed and the fire disappeared, revealing a skeletal-looking robot. Blaze was the only one who didn't seem surprised. Before the robot could do anything, she ran and grabbed him before suplexing him, hitting his head on the floor, hard. I leapt at it as it stood up and jump kicked it in the face. It staggered backwards and Slash jumped on it's face and slashed it a good few times with her claws. Suddenly, a field of electricity covered Robot. G's Body, shocking her. She fell to the floor and Jack ran at Robot. G and stabbed it threw one of it's eye sockets, destroying it's one eye. It punched Jack across the face and knocked him down. I charged at it and speared it into the wall next to the chair. I then punched it across the face but it grabbed me and threw me away from itself. Blaze leapt at it and kicked it's face very hard, smashing one side of it. It swung at her but she grabbed it's arm and pulled it as hard as she could, ripping it out of it's socket. She whacked Robot. G with the arm, smashing it up quite badly. She dropped the arm and grabbed it's other arm and threw Robot. G over her shoulder. It flew into the air, over the floor spears and landed onto the elevator that we came up on which had previously been cracked by Krauser and it smashed completely. Robot. G fell from top to bottom of the shaft and smashed into pieces on the lower level. The spears that came out of the floor retracted, allowing us to get to the elevator shaft. We ran to it and we all gathered around it and looked down at the smashed up robot on the floor. A voice emitted from the robot's mouth. It was the real Giovanni talking to us through the robot from another room.
"I see you continue to destroy what I create. Continue onward if you wish to reach me. You will not defeat my other robots so easily. Blaze knows this model was an early prototype."
The light emitting from the robot's eyes faded and Blaze spoke.
"He's right, Gill. The other robots are probably finished. We'll need to give it our all to get past them."
I nodded and looked around.
"But...Where is he? We've got nowhere else to go. This is it."
Blaze walked over to Giovanni's large stone chair.
"You shouldn't give up so easily, Gill. Agatha, can you get this chair out of the way?"
Agatha cracked her knuckles.
"Not a problem!"
She walked over to the chair and grabbed it tight.
"Watch yourselves!"
We all moved out of the way and she roared as she threw it over her shoulders. It flew across the room and fell down the elevator shaft, crushing what was left of Robot. G. We all looked at where the chair used to be and saw a whole in the wall, leading to a long, dark corridor. We laughed a bit and walked on through.
The corridor on the other side of the hole was kind of scary. There were no windows, it was lit up only by a few torches lined up along both walls and there wasn't any nice blood-red carpet on the floor, just dark stone bricks everywhere, giving it a dungeon sort of feel. It felt more like a dungeon when I noticed a skeleton or two chained to the walls by their wrists and ankles. I tried to pretend they didn't exist as we walked past them. Before long, we heard a strange repeating sound. It sounded like metal bouncing along the ground. I stopped and gulped. Blaze spoke to us.
"Everyone, get ready!"
We got ready for whatever was coming and, finally, it cam into view. It was four robots about my height. They had two legs but no arms. They hadn't got anything like a head either, just a round top with a little hole on it, presumably what they used to see through. I smiled as they didn't look very threatening. Luckily, the corridor was wide, giving us a lot of room to fight in. The four robots lined up and Blaze yelled,
"Get down!"
We both dropped to the ground and the others stuck to the walls as the tops of the robots flipped open like Playstations and a small laser beam shot out of each one. Luckily, we all reacted in time and the lasers flew right past us. The robots then started to hop towards us. Blaze ran at them and punched the closest one to her. Her fist went straight through it's thin shell and it fell dead at her feet. Before the next closest one could attack her, she grabbed it and threw it behind her. It flew into the other two and smashed them apart before hitting the wall. The robot was just about still intact and jumped up, kicking Blaze in the face. She fell back a little and growled before using Blaze Kick. Her flaming foot struck the robot and reduced it to a pile of burning scrap metal.
"They're not so tough, but there'll be more of them."
I laughed.
"Well let them come. I bet you can take 'em on your own."
She smiled as we continued to move down the corridor and Agatha spoke.
"Let me take the next bunch."
Blaze smiled and nodded.
"Okay then."
She moved aside as Agatha took the front with me. Moments later we heard the sound of more robots coming. She smiled and got herself ready and they came into view. I couldn't count them since there were so many and they were hopping around so much but I think there was about seven or eight of them. It's a good thing Agatha took the lead when she did. They were only about half an inch taller than me so they were no match for her at all. She ran at them and span around, smashing about four of them into pieces with her tail. One of them quickly flipped it's lid open and fired a laser beam at her. She didn't move fast enough and it hit her. Her body was covered with electricity and she screamed loudly before falling to her knees. I may be sick for saying this but her scream was quite arousing. Blaze and I quickly ran to her aid. Blaze kicked one of them a few times, smashing it up and threw what was left of it into the nearest one, destroying them both. I punched the closest one to me in the face, or where the face should have been a few times, denting it and Bob jumped over me, landing both of his feet into it with quite some force, knocking it into the wall. It fell to it's knees and collapsed. Barbon charged the last one and put his fist straight through it, destroying it instantly. We ran to Agatha who was just getting back on her feet. Smoke was coming off of every inch of her body.
"That...Hurt."
I hugged her tight.
"Are you okay?"
She smiled.
"I'm fine, don't worry."
Blaze sighed.
"Thank God. Let's keep going. We're not far now."
We carried on for a minute or two when we heard that noise again. We stopped in our tracks and waited. The next robots came into view and, thankfully, there were only four this time. Blaze smiled.
"Let me take these ones."
She ran in between the two middle robots and jumped up, throwing one foot to each side. Her feet went through the robots on either side of her and they fell into heaps on the floor. She turned to the one remaining on her right and punched it hard, destroying it with ease. The one now behind her kicked her in the ass, knocking her against the wall. I ran at it and speared it, taking it to the ground. I punched it's face repeatedly until I had smashed through it's face completely. I stood up and turned around to see Agatha helping Blaze to her feet. I turned around again and we started walking one last time. Before long, we came to a door. I put my hand on the knob and got ready to turn it when Blaze said,
"I hope we're ready for this..."
Agatha laughed.
"Of coerce we are. We can take anything that's behind that door!"
I gulped.
"I hope you're right."
I turned the knob and opened the door, entering the final room of the evil lair.
We all walked into the room and looked around. The room was huge and it was round. The walls were made of glass and there were a lot of bolts of electricity flying around behind them. At the opposite end of the room, there was a pedestal with a glass phial on top of it. I took a good look at it and noticed there was a brain floating in water inside it. A voice emitted from the pedestal.
"I see you've made it, after destroying all of my robots!"
I yelled,
"Giovanni! So you weren't revived!"
He laughed.
"Correct! I was not revived, I was salvaged by my master!"
I screamed,
"Just surrender! You're completely helpless!"
"That's where you're wrong, handsome one. And now you've destroyed all of my robots, the key to my plan, the land will pay for your meddling, big time! My loyal followers in the syndicate have planted bombs throughout the land, primed to detonate within the hour! Even you will not be able to stop mass destruction!"
Blaze shouted,
"Just give up! Do you really expect to run the land from a glass phial?"
"Yes, traitor! I do! Let me show you how!"
Just then, a blinding light filled the centre area of the room and I noticed the shape of a figure appearing from the light. A screen hung down from the ceiling above Giovanni displaying a timer which was counting down from thirty minutes. The light disappeared and the figure was now standing in front of us. It was the legendary Mewtwo, covered in his armour! Mewtwo attacked immediately, sending a ball of energy flying at us. We dived out of the way and it hit the wall behind us. We had all now singled off from one another and Mewtwo looked at me and fired another energy ball at me. I dived again and as I stood, he fired a third one at me. I dived a third time, barely making it out of the way. Mewtwo had drained him self of his energy and he stood still as his body covered with a bright blue aura while he recharged his energy. I took this opportunity and ran directly at him. I whaled him in the gut and across the face a few times. He disappeared right in front of my eyes. He reappeared behind me and kicked me hard, knocking me face down on the floor. I got up quickly and turned around to see Mewtwo get tackled by Agatha. She knocked him down and stamped on him. He teleported behind me again and I turned around, but as soon as I did, he grabbed me by the throat with both hands and lifted me above the floor, choking me. Jack threw one of his knifes and it landed straight in his hand. He dropped me and Bob jumped at him, punching him in the face as hard as he could, cracking his visor. He grabbed Bob and threw him into Jack, sending them both to the floor. Zan and Slash jumped on him and clawed his chest until Agatha punched Mewtwo square in the chest, sending him bouncing along the floor. Mewtwo sat up and pulled the knife out of his hand.
"Die bitch!"
He threw the knife at Agatha and landed it square in her chest. She screamed in pain and Barbon leapt at Mewtwo and whaled him across the face. During all the commotion, Bob was sitting down out of the way with Agatha.
"Are you okay?"
She smiled.
"You think I'd be beat by a blade of this size. I'll be fine."
She pulled the knife out of her chest.
"He'll pay for that!"
Barbon and I grabbed a hold of Mewtwo and Blaze leapt in the air and Blaze kicked him hard. He hit the ground and Blaze stamped on him. He screamed in pain as most of his ribs were now broken. Agatha shouted,
"Restrain him! Now!"
Bob, Zan and Slash hurried over to us. Barbon, Bob and I grabbed Mewtwo's right arm and held him up while Blaze, Jack, Slash and Zan grabbed his left arm. We held him still and Agatha got back on her feet. She smiled as Mewtwo looked at her in fear, knowing what was about to happen to him.
"No! Maybe we can work something out!"
She yelled,
"Go to hell!"
She threw Jack's knife as hard as her insanely muscled arm would allow her. The knife flew at an insane speed and hit Mewtwo right in the middle of the chest and we all let go of him. He flew into the glass phial that housed Giovanni and smashed it. He fell to the floor dead and the water in the glass phial poured out onto the floor. I looked inside the glass phial and saw the brain drying out with pieces of glass sticking out of it. Giovanni began to beg.
"I'm dying. Please help me."
Zan shouted,
"You've gotta be kidding me!"
"Well, if I die, you die. Good-bye!"
At that moment, a bright red light began to flash on an off, continuously filling the room. Blaze yelled
"He's activated the self-destruct sequence! We need to get out or we will die! I can stop the timer for the bombs around the area but we'll need to evacuate the building fast!"
She threw Giovanni's pedestal out of the way, revealing a machine that was hidden behind it. She shoved her claw in it and ripped a bunch of wires out of it. The timer on the screen was replaced by the word "INTERUPTED!" The bomb threat had been dealt with and we ran out of the room and backtracked all the way out of the building. We ran threw the previous corridor, panicking like all hell and into the room before it. I shouted,
"Shit! The elevator's out! We'll have to take the long way out!"
We began to run out of the door which lead to the corridor just before the exit, but something caught my eye and I stopped as the others ran out. The Lucario, Giovanni's body guard had just woken up and was starting to get on his feet, holding his head.
"Where...What's happening?"
He fell to his knees, holding his head, moaning from an insane headache from what I did to him earlier. I ran over to him and grabbed him, throwing him onto my shoulder.
"Come on, buddy! I've got ya!"
I ran and managed to catch up to the others. I ran down the stairs in the lobby, being extremely careful not to drop the guy on my shoulder. We ran through the lobby and finally, out of the last door, leaving the tower. We continued to run to get away from the tower to avoid it falling on top of us. Once we had reached a safe distance, we stood and watched. There was a huge explosion at the top of the tower and a thick cloud of smoke began to emit from it. Explosions then occurred all over the tower and it collapsed. It was over.
We had won. We finally ended it all. Now we had beaten the syndicate in the early ours of the morning, I reflected on all that time we just spent. And a lot of old memories from our adventure replayed in my mind and I smiled.
"Guys...It's over. It's really over."
The Lucario shouted,
"Put me down already!"
I put him down and he continued to hold his head. He looked at me and smiled.
"I've got no idea why you saved me. You had no reason to."
I smiled.
"I don't need a reason to save someone's life."
He looked at the ground and Blaze slapped him across the face.
"Maybe now you'll be nicer to people!"
He held his face where she hit him.
"I will, I swear. I couldn't be more sorry."
Bob spoke.
"Well, it looks like we can stop worrying now."
Jack smiled.
"Yeah. I knew we could do it."
I turned and looked at everyone.
"Thanks, guys. Really."
Barbon replied.
"You can always count on us, Gill. Don't you worry about that."
I breathed a massive sigh of relief and stretched, yawning loudly.
"Well, I'm almost ready to fall asleep standing. What do you all say we get back to our lives now?"
Everyone smiled and nodded.
We all hugged and shook hands with one another except for the Lucario who stood there like a loner and we began to return to our homes. The Lucario still stood there and tears began to drip down his face.
"Gill... When you destroyed the tower just now, you destroyed my home and the only people who cared about me. What am I going to do?"
I turned to him.
"Come and live with me. There's plenty of room and food at my place."
He looked completely stunned.
"But...your friends must despise me."
Blaze hugged him.
"Everyone deserver's a second chance. If you promise to behave yourself, we'll accept you as our friend. So do you promise to behave your self?"
He nodded.
"I promise, but what will Lucy do to me?"
Agatha stepped forward.
"Don't worry. Just stay out of her sight for a couple of days and I'll smooth things over with her."
He sniffled and Blaze wiped his tears away as he spoke.
"Thank you everyone. Really."
Blaze replied.
"It's okay, little guy."
We all said our good-byes and headed back home.
Bob went back into his house and as the Lucario and I were about to enter my house, we heard Lucy's voice.
"Gill!"
I turned around and she threw her arms around me.
"I'm so glad you're okay!"
"Yeah, I'm glad to see you too."
She kissed me on the cheek and noticed the other Lucario standing there. She growled at him.
"What the hell are you doing here!?"
I interrupted.
"Relax. I saved his life earlier and he's got nothing left. He's living with me now."
She shoved me.
"You never think about me, do you?! Don't expect to see me while he's around!"
I sighed.
"Well if you're making me choose between the two of you, you've got a home and he doesn't, so I've made my decision."
The Lucario added to the conversation.
"Look, I'm not the guy I used to be. Just give me a chance, Lucy. Please. I promise, I've changed."
She clenched her fist.
"Fine! I'll keep an eye on you. You had better keep your word."
He nodded.
"You have my word, Lucy."
She looked at me and then at the Lucario again.
"Well, I'll see you two later. You should get some rest."
She left for her cave in the forest and we went into my house. I threw my dirty and blood-covered clothes off and we climbed into the huge double bed, and, for the first time in ages, I slept well. I had a very pleasant dream. I was in a clearing in a forest somewhere. The sun was shining down brightly and the wind was gentle and refreshing. My ears were filled with the sound of birds singing and I stood there, taking in the moment.
"It's all over. No raping or violence. Just this..."
At that moment I heard a noise behind me. I turned around to see a Mightyena walking towards me. It was smiling but it wasn't that evil, sadistic, lusty smile I was used to. It just looked happy to see me. It came over to me and I knelt down and began to stroke it.
