Saving Grace by byoukari

Story Notes:

No pokemon are mine, obviously, blah blah blah.... Grace is, however.

And The Day Started So Well...

'Hey Grace, it's Hevin. Just thought I'd give you a call since I'm in town this week. Thought it'd be great to hang with you; I miss ya, girl.'

Grace flipped over the postcard and smiled. It was a new day, the egg had been taken in the night, she was 100,000 poke richer and now, one of her best friends was coming up to visit. Hevin... She smiled to herself, seeing her friend on the picture-side, pointing out at her, super-enthusiastically. That was how she's always been, ever since they were ten years old, always running off to do things without a second thought. But... Hmm. Grace thought to herself quietly as she twirled a lock of hair between her fingers.

Hevin had gone off to become a trainer while Grace stayed at home and watched as everyone else went off into the world with their Pokémon. At the time, there was just a lot of work to be done on the ranch, and there were plenty of Pokémon readily around her as it were. She didn't generally feel the need to see any others. She was perfectly content sighting a rare Lapras migration on the horizon from her window. That was all the excitement that she ever really needed. She didn't need to prove herself to anyone; no one really remembered that she existed. In fact, the last time she had even heard from her childhood friend was at least three years ago- she was off in some other region, catching all sorts of strange, new Pokémon. Most of them were starting to migrate down into her own region, but there were stories about a large sky beast in one, Elemental guardians... All of it just seemed a little bit silly to her, to be honest. She was just happy with what she saw on a regular basis. Of course, she had never been much into owning one of her own. They rather freaked her out. Watching them in the wild, or just watching them on the television was more than enough to satisfy her.

Hevin was different. She was different than most girls. Rather than want to stay at home, or to do contests, she dreamed of kicking ass and taking names. She had always been Grace's savior. If she'd waited another year or so to start her journey, Grace might have been interested in tagging along. Hevin made her feel safe, like there was nothing out there that could harm her. Traveling to strange worlds with her would have been like camping, which they had done with great frequency when they were younger, tagging along with her older brother and parents. She wondered, briefly, about Darby but soon pressed him far from her mind. He, too, had gone off to become a trainer, but no one had heard from him for many, many years now. Last thing she heard was that he was off to the Indogo league. But no one there saw him compete, or met him at the doors. They said that Victory Road was a dangerous place, and that many trainers, despite the strength of their Pokémon, would get lost and never be able to find their way out.

Grace shivered and sat down in the couch before the television. She started idly flipping through the channels, but there wasn't anything on that caught her interest. She paused on a news broadcast, allowing it to be no more than idle background noise as she re-read the postcard.

Sightings have been reported outside of Canalave City in the Sinnoh region of a large, shadow Pokémon. Children have been reported missing, only to be found the next day with tales of bad dreams. What do the citizens have to say?'I'm just glad my little Johnny-Cakes is alright. Don't you ever run off like that again!'"Michael just likes to give his mother a scare once and again. This is nothing but adolescent acting-out.'There's no such thing as Mostersâ"Well, not real monsters anyways. No giant shadowy beasts that steal children. It's just the kiddies wanting to tease their parents. It is getting close to Halloween, now after all.'

Grace looked up to see a portly sailor shaking his head at the screen. The camera cut to the reporter again and she concluded her announcement, claiming that it was all just acting-out, that there was no real danger. Cold weather was starting to settle in now. Fall was finally approaching after an unusually long Summer. Halloween was fast approaching. September had been unusually hot, hence why she'd had the idea to get one last sunbathe in before a frost settled. That afternoon, in fact, the temperature had dropped at least ten degrees. And by the next morning, the highs were ten degrees colder than the day before. She loved Autumn, personally, loved the way the colors changed. What she didn't like was being stuck inside all day long, watching as snows trapped her in her home. You'd think living closer to the shore would prevent that sort of thing, but not for her. It seemed even the weather had been against her all her life.

She shifted her hand and accidentally pressed a button, causing the channel to change to something a little more interesting to say the least. A dull, male voice was narrating something about the habits of wild Pokémon and how some were endangered of dying out. But then the scene changed and a pair of Rapidash were approaching one another. The male of the pair was approaching what would be the female, who turned and lifted her tail, presenting herself. Grace gasped and tried to change the channel once she noticed a thick, long member emerging from the male's underbelly. Deftly, he mounted her and grace was unable to find the remote. Her eyes were fixated on the television now, watching as the male thrust his pulsing member deep into the other's deep cavity. The narrator's voice carried over, saying what a wonderful event this was, but Grace was deaf to him. A muffled whinny brought her searching hand to her crotch and she began gently massaging her lips. She was acting on instinct, and her mind wandered, putting herself in the female's place. How great it would be to have such a long, satisfying cock within her sex. How wonderful it would be to be ravaged so. Her free hand unfastened the button to her pants and eased its way beneath her panties to her hot, wet entrance. She began fingering herself gently, rocking her finger in and out with the motions of the male equine on the screen.

After a few minutes, the male increased its speed, and so did Grace. The mare released a shrill cry and braced herself. Grace's head fell back against her couch. Still the stallion pressed on, his hooves seeking purchase on the mare's torso. Grace could feel herself getting hotter and hotter. Her free hand reaching up and fondled her breast, increasing stimulation. She was getting close, she could feel it. In almost perfect unison, the stallion's movements stuttered and he bayed, depositing his seed within the mare, as she, too, cried out. Grace moaned, watching the excess seed spill and slosh to the ground. He rested his head against the mare's back and nibbled her cheeks before dismounting. The two went their separate ways and the and the narrator cut in with more boring dialogue. But Grace was unsatisfied. She'd gotten so close... And the mood was ruined as the scene shifted to reclamation pools in some other land.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door, however, and she immediately sat herself up and readjusted her clothing. "Just a second!" She shouted, still a little miffed, as she went to the kitchen to scrub her hands.

"Ain't the door open, Grace? Seems awful ruse to lock an old friend out." She knew that voice. There was no mistaking it. Years had passed, taking away the small lisp and childish slur, but it was still the same as ever. She ran to the door and spanned the lock free, opening the door was a huff.

A tall blonde-haired girl with an impressive bust stood at the door, a hand propped on her side. Freckles spattered her nose and cheeks and her brilliant blue eyes dazzled in the morning sun. A chilly breeze issued her forth into the foyer, and she dropped her bag to the floor, admiring the familiar sight as she slipped out of her shoes. "Wow, grace. Nothing's changed. Though I love your bangs, girl."

Seeing her old friend, hearing her talk, had taken most of her frustration away. Grace smiled, knowing that nothing had changed. Well, her new breast size was obviously an improvement, but that's what you get for growing up. "Hevin, it's good to see you. You could have called, though."

"Nah, when do I ever call? Oh, you need to meet my Pokémon, Grace!" She bounced and grabbed three balls in each hand and threw then into the air. "Come on out, everyone. Time to meet and old friend of mine." As the monsters materialized, Grace was quickly starting to realize that she didn't know what any of them were. Even the Bulbasaur, now a Venusaur surely, was not among those presented to her. "This is Rich, my Luxray. Next to him is Beatrice, a Vespiqueen, with Missus the Missmagius beside her. Dutch is an Empoleon, with Basil and Bannette besides. And finally, this is my Lucario. I didn't really think to give him a name," She sighed and shrugged. "But he name is just cool enough, I think. So, how do you like them?"

Grace wasn't sure what to think. Most of them were taller than her. The Luxray was sitting, looking off distastefully at the corner of the room and the bannette and the other purple-dress ghost were shooting daggers with their eyes at one another. "I don't think your Pokémon like you particularly well..." She admitted, her eyes roving over to the Lucario. He was standing still, arms at his sides, facing her with his crimson eyes. If a Pokémon could smile, he did and lowered his head respectfully. She smiled; while he looked intimidating, he seemed nice enough. That was a plus.

"Oh... Well, yeah... We just had a rough trip, I guess. I lost a battle recently and no one's seemed to take it well. Alright, everyone, back in your balls." She returned them all and fastened their holders to her belt. "But, anyways, what have you been up to, Grace? Are you finally into Pokémon? Do you have a boyfriend? Or are you still just playing shadow to your younger brother?"

"The latter is closest to the truth." She muttered shamefully, holding her arms. She hadn't gotten into Pokémon so much as that they'd been getting into her, and didn't have a boyfriend so much as a crazy stalker scientist who blessed her with some sort of purpose. "He won another contest, a little over a week ago." She shrugged and started playing with a flower arrangement on the wall.

"Ah. I see. Well, congrats to the punk, will ya?" The blonde glowered and lifted her bags.

"Wait.. you aren't leaving already are you?" Grace stammered. She'd only just arrived.

"Grace.. You just haven't changed a bit. I was hoping that maybe, is you had developed a spine while I was away, you would be willing to come along with me. But you still obviously have a dislike for Pokémon, and you can't even get out and find a man of your own. You haven't changed a bit, and that isn't always a good thing, Grace." With her bag in hand, she strutted through the door, slamming it behind her and leaving the brunette in the dust.

Over fifteen minutes had passed. Grace was still staring at the door breathless. Her knees were shaking terribly. Her hands were clenched at her side. The nerves of the girl! She finally managed to turn away, to storm up to her room. Avidly, she buried her face in her pillow and bawled, slamming her legs onto her mattress as tears stained the cushion's soft fabric. Never, not once, had Hevin ever been so cruel. And just who did she think she was? Barging into her home, unannounced, interrupting her personal time, making it so that she couldn't orgasm! Now her anger was adding to her already agitated horniness, and there was little she could do about it. With a muffled scream, she hammered down on her mattress until she could move no longer.Chapter End Notes:

I know I uploaded them quick, but I actually wrote this one first, then had to write a 'Wet' realization in order for it to make sense..
